Since FH and I changed our wedding date to July 5th, when do you guys think we should send out our Save the dates? I read some places a yr out and others 6 months. I mean when would you guys send them out?

Okay so our wedding is July 5th and Im leaning more towards a cocktail/hordoves type reception over a plated/buffet type one. My question what is you guys experience if any with this. Did you guest enjoy it did it save you money etc???
