Activity for Amber Jones

So my dj won’t get to our venue till 5, in which he’d setup right as he got there. Ceremony would be at 4:30. We’re doing first looks so we won’t have a cocktail hour. Would it be tacky to have people in the reception hall watching a dj setup?

We don’t want a cocktail hour since we’re doing a first look and portraits with our bridal party/families, so what are some idea I could incorporate into those 15-20 minutes my fiancé and I take for our after ceremony pictures as husband and wife?...

For anyone with kids, how did your wedding turn out, or planned to turn out? Im thinking about doing a sweetheart table with our kids (his daughter + my son) but I’m not entirely sure.

I don’t want to pay extra for a fancy videographer but pay extra for the pictures. Would it be tacky if I asked my mom (she’ll be in the front row anyway) to video the ceremony?
