What is the etiquette for father of the bride? Does he wear the same color suit as the groomsmen or his own thing?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm thinking of "colors". People usually ask, "do you have your colors!?" "What are your colors!?" Etc. And I'm like ehhh uhhh idk lol so anyway the question is... do the colors of the suits the GM and Groom wear...

So my make-up artists does both airbrush and bare minerals. She says it's totally my call as to which one to use but I don't know much about either of them. My main concern will be coverage as I am known to get a few pimples here and there...
