I got my dress today for FREE. Yes you read that correct, free. Its my size and a lady in my town had her sisters dress, with tags still on, engagement was broken and she GAVE it to me for FREE. I just need to get it cleaned and hemmed........ so...

I finished rolling the silverware in the napkins(tied ribbon around them) tonight, stuffed some more apple butter wrapped tissue paper in the favor bags, printed more invitations, rsvp cards and getting ready to start addressing more of them......

So I made my hair appointment and decided to splurge and do the airbrush makeup too. Excited and will post pictures of it when they come in :-)

Has anyone ever had this done before? Im considering it.

We are renewing our vows after 26 years. Do you have any suggestions? Anything that I shouldn't do? I know that veil, garter are no-no's for renewals. So much has changed since we got married in 88. TYVM!

What do you have left to do?

I designed and hired the baker tonight. Its going to be a beautiful Damask design with Red roses on the top.......im SOOOOO excited and my FIL is going to make the cake stand....I will definitely be taking pictures....lol

Programs are printed and assembled!, I think Im starting to get down to the little details, I'm picking up the baskets for the candy bar tomorrow and the card box. It seems far away but I know it will go quickly especially after Halloween.

How is everyone doing and how much do you have left to do?

The invitations are mailed. Its official now......yipee!!!

Is this the new norm? When we got married this was only done for "sit down receptions" and Im planning on letting people sit whereever they would like. It will be in a Salvation Army church and more laid back situation.

How far in advance should you do the hair trial?

Mailing the renewal invitations tomorrow.....sooooo excited

Would it be okay for our daughter(13yo) who is going to be my MOH at the renewal to walk to "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts?(it fits our situation so well) Im walking to Josh Grobam "You raise me up".
