I know not many grooms are on here, but I hope everyone can help. I'm trying to understand what duties are expected from a Best Man and what duties got passed to them.

So we've been talking about doing a sand unity instead of a candle in our wedding. I throw out the idea of instead of it sitting in a vase to pour the sand into a hourglass. I was wonder if other people have look into this and found a company or two...

I know it's something that doesn't need to be figured out but I would like to think about the time table of what our wedding would look like partly so I can answer the question, how long is the wedding event. Even if it's a basic fill in the blank...
