Hiring Zoe and her team was the single best decision we made during wedding planning. While having a planner was required for most venues in Mendocino, we are so grateful that we chose her. Zoe is incredibly organized and executed our entire wedding weekend flawlessly. She remembered everything we wanted to do, ensured it all happened exactly as planned, and even reminded us of things we didn’t realize we needed to think about. Not one detail was dropped.
Her list of preferred vendors was outstanding — every single one was professional, talented, and a joy to work with. Mendocino is a tight-knit creative community where everyone knows each other and often works together, and it’s clear that Zoe holds a very high bar for quality. That standard shows in the team she surrounds herself with.
Zoe and her team also guided us through decisions we didn’t even know we had to make — extra bathrooms or not, tent or no tent, how many heaters were needed, uplighting for the reception, and so much more. Having her expertise meant we could make informed choices without stress or second-guessing.
Our wedding weekend ran perfectly, and we were able to truly enjoy it because we trusted Zoe completely. If you are getting married in Mendocino (or anywhere she works), hiring Zoe is the best gift you can give yourself. -

Sarah Sharaf of Zoe Braga Events was truly the only way we could have pulled off our wedding in Westport! Beyond being a literal delight of a human, Sarah is incredibly communicative, creative, and knows every vendor you could possibly imagine. She was very hands-on and brought extra materials that really elevated the overall look of our wedding.
She also hired a wonderful team to make it all happen - everyone was kind to us and our guests, thorough, and deeply professional. Our location was pretty unique, and no one in the area had done a wedding of our size (75 people) on the field we used, but Sarah absolutely pulled it off. We never saw any of the behind-the-scenes chaos - only the ease and joy she brought to the entire process.
Leading up to the wedding, Sarah was easy to reach and great to communicate with. She provided helpful tools to keep everything organized and worked with us to create a clear, manageable timeline. On the day itself, she was exactly the energy we needed by our side - a cheerful, calming presence to start the day, and by the end of the night (even through exhaustion), she was still incredibly thorough in making sure everything ended up exactly where it needed to go.We would highly recommend her for your event! -

Zoe and her team are 10/10, out of this world amazing
Zoe is an all star. I really can’t express enough how wonderful working with her was. She took every strange request we had (like organizing a 120 person game of Assassins) and made it happen.
We felt like we had no idea what we were doing for most of our planning process, but every time an unknown came up, Zoe had already thought of it. We had a logistically complicated wedding - we brought in glamping tents, bathrooms, a
sauna, furniture, etc., but Zoe has such a good system down that what felt slightly impossible went off without a hitch. She has great relationships with all of the vendors in Mendocino, which made orchestrating everything so easy.
We also loved everyone on her team. We had a lot of people to talk to on our day, but I still found myself chatting and laughing with her team.
In summary, both of us had a genuinely fun time planning this wedding and were completely overwhelmed with joy on the actual day. A large part of that came down to our trust in Zoe. If something went wrong, neither of us had any idea! We were able to step back and just enjoy the best day of our lives. -

The single best decision we made in our wedding planning process was hiring Zoë. We had two weddings (an Indian and an American) on a Friday/Saturday and she handled every moment of it all with the utmost professionalism and competence. Zoë is not only the best at her job, but is also a delightful person to work with during such a joyful, but at times stressful, season. She is kind, has a very calming presence, and really cares to make your individual visions come to life. She has connections and friendships with all the vendors in the area and goes above and beyond to coordinate everything flawlessly. On the wedding weekend her husband, Chris, and staff were also incredible and really combined the feeling of utmost professionalism with joy and warmth. There really aren’t adequate words to describe the millions of ways Zoe will absolutely make your wedding experience the best it can be – hire her!! -

10/10, 5-star, A+, we could not recommend Zoe and her team enough! We worked with Zoe as our month-of coordinator. Even though the description was “month-of” she provided steady guidance and clear direction over the course of the year before our wedding that helped us feel confident and comfortable leading up to our big day.
Throughout the planning process with Zoe we let her know what was important to us about the look and feel of the wedding day. Zoe was very nimble in her approach, she listened and steered us in the right direction for every decision to make sure our day would turn out just as (or even better!) than we had imagined. During the actual wedding day she made everything look effortless and we barely had to pay attention to any of the logistics of the day. At no point were we worried that something was not going to happen or happen as planned.
Zoe knows all of the vendors in town and they all know her. This goes a long way. If you need something, she knows someone who can do it. Zoe is a familiar face to all of the vendors and they all seem to enjoy working with her and each other, which adds to the magic of the wedding atmosphere. And because she knows all the local vendors, she was able to foresee any potential challenges of the day and take care of them well in advance without us even needing to think about it.
Other than her wonderful planning skills, Zoe also filled any gap we had day-of without us having to ask or think about it. I remember during the reception seeing Zoe going around and cleaning up around the bar and the counter that bordered the dance floor and feeling very grateful that she was there to support us.
Not a single critique. You can’t go wrong with Zoe.

We hired Zoe to plan our wedding at Skunk Train and Inn at Newport Ranch in Mendocino/Fort Bragg, CA. We could not be happier with her and her services. From her incredible communication and planning templates to her organization, extensive vendor network and calm demeanor, she is the fully package. We were playing for the wedding ourselves and had 160 invitees, creating a unique planning scenario. We got married in Mendocino, CA and worked with Zoe as our wedding planner. We are not local to Mendocino and were not able to see or interact with any of our vendors before they were hired. We told Zoe what our vision was for our day and she was able to identify all of the perfect vendors. From the ceremony location, reception location, caterer, hair and makeup, rentals every single vendor was selected at Zoe's suggestion and we couldn't have been happier. Having her support & insight was crucial and we appreciated her local relationships & experience working with the best vendors. Zoe came onboard just over a month before our COVID micro wedding. We came to Zoe with a venue that didn’t offer any infrastructure due to COVID, all of our vendors selected except food (which was particularly to important to us since we are known foodies), and a vision of doing dinner on the deck of our suite at the resort we were staying at. Zoe helped us work through our food options, and we eventually selected a takeout option over catering since that allowed us to go with a restaurant we knew was high quality. She walked us through the rentals we would need and helped coordinate with the rentals vendor and the restaurant, and did the last-minute coordination with all our vendors to ensure everything went smoothly the day of.
When the day arrived, Zoe was amazing. She had everything handled, from picking up flowers to setting our dinner table. She kept things together when my husband’s brother was 40 minutes late and we had to push things back. Zoe’s catering background was a huge benefit, as she put together an insta worthy charcuterie board from the ingredients my husband and I brought, and then ensured dinner was warm and delicious by the time we sat down, and everything was gorgeous and smooth all night long.
We hired Zoe to take some of the stress out of final detail planning, and to ensure we and our family would not have to worry or run around taking care of things on our wedding day. Zoe executed that plan flawlessly.

We hired Zoe to help our family with the rehearsal dinner prior to our son's wedding since we were out of state. What a blessing she was! She gave us excellent suggestions for food resources, music, and more. Hiring her to assist the evening before the wedding allowed us to meet and interact with our new daughter-in-laws family and have a very fun, relaxing evening! She was also the wedding coordinator on their special day. With her calm, yet take charge presence, the event couldn't have gone any smoother! I already know this review will not adequately relay the way Zoe went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch and our every desire was taken care of! Due to corona virus, two months before our wedding we decided we would have to change our original plans for something much smaller and decided to have our wedding with just our immediate family (12 in total!) at my grandparents property in Fort Bragg. One month before our wedding we decided we should still hire a wedding coordinator, so that we could fully enjoy the day! Even though it was so small we still had dinner catered, flowers delivered, photos taken, music and rentals to coordinate and multiple locations! Zoe's handled this all with expertise and incredible organization. She had an answer for every question we could have possibly come up with and was an incredible calming presence through the entire process for my family! She took on many extra rolls with the event being so small to make sure that we had the best day ever and my family could enjoy every moment of it. I cannot thank Zoe enough! Hire her! -

Our wedding was STUNNING
Our wedding was beautiful and Zoe handled all of our complicated venue changes wonderfully... she also managed to diffuse a lot of family tension somehow and was extremely supportive of me (the bride) when I got stressed out.
We had a vintage RV trailer bar, an ice cream bar, a whiskey tasting bar, and a caterer and band from out of town!
I would recommend Zoe 100% to anyone looking to get married on the California coast. You need a lot of support and words of wisdom in the wedding-planning time, far more than you originally realize, and Zoe's the woman for the job! -

Zoe was an amazing month-of coordinator, especially if you're looking to get married in the Mendocino / Fort Bragg area. She came highly recommended from a friend, and we quickly realized that we'd made a great choice as she already had a personal relationship with each of the vendors that we were working with, which made the whole process so smooth. While we only had Zoe "officially" for the month leading up to the wedding, we met with her 10 months out to do a venue walkthrough, and she did check-ins a few times leading up to the month-of, both to make sure we were on-track and could help provide advice on some of the things we had no expertise in (how much time does it take for people to eat dinner? how do we move everyone inside after happy hour?).
We got married on November 2nd, 2019, which for anyone that lives in California, you'll remember as falling at the tail-end of a 6-day PG&E forced power outage through most of Northern California, including Mendocino. This meant that in the week leading up to our wedding, we had vendors back out who could no longer get supplies to the area in time, meaning we had to come up with quick alternate options, and make a mitigation plan in case the power didn't come back online, all without power through the area. Zoe was truly a lifesaver, staying in touch with all of our vendors/hotels to get a pulse on what things we're looking like, and finding a last-minute dessert option through her local connections in the Mendocino community.
Especially in a time of uncertainty (as the next few years look like they'll be), Zoe has both a wealth of local knowledge / relationships, and a calm presence that will keep you relaxed both leading up to the wedding day and day-of. -

Zoe was an excellent day-of coordinator for our recent wedding in Mendocino. She went above and beyond. She's very articulate, responsive, knowledgable, helpful, detail-oriented, and was very communicative with our vendors. Sometimes hiring vendors in Mendocino can be hit-or-miss. Zoe was a huge hit, and I'd recommend her for any sort of event planning.
