Zarda BBQ was on top of everything. Very easy to get in touch with and communicate any needs with purposeful follow up. The food was absolutely amazing, everyone loved it. There was plenty of food leftover even after feeding everyone. Their amazing staff packed everything up for us so we could continue to enjoy our big day. I would absolutely recommend Zarda BBQ for your catering needs. -

Zarda catered my wedding about an hour away from their blue springs vacation and I cannot express how much of an amazing job they did! I mostly worked with Staci during the planning and she was very easy to work with, was professional, clear and informative, and quick to respond. Her upbeat and positive personality was a bonus. Everyone else I worked with was great too! The food catered the day of was top notch and all the guests were raving about how great it was. The pricing is unmatched in comparison, even compared to companies that were closer to the venue. There was a small upcharge for travel which I expected. But, it was not much at all. They did everything. Brought serving tables, plates, cups, cutlery, everything we needed for the dinner. Cleaned up after and even put all the leftovers in to-go containers. They bring more than enough for your head count. We have a ton of food left over. Highly recommend them for your events if you are lucky enough to have one in your town! -

Zarda did NOT disappoint!!! We had brisket, turkey, and sausage with all the typical KC bbq trimmings. Our guests talked about the generous portions and delicious sides. Kids couldn’t get enough of the cheesy corn!!! YUMMO! Can’t go wrong! -

A True Kansas City Staple
I recently had Zarda cater our small wedding reception last month and was very happy with it. When you think of wedding receptions, you typically think "chicken or fish?" and barbecue is often forgotten about. However being a Kansas City resident, there was only ever one choice. I've tried all the familiar staples from Joes KC, to JackStack, Gates, and everything inbetween and Zarda has always been my favorite. Funny enough, I eventually moved just down the road to the Blue Springs location and can almost see it from the edge of my street.
As my wife was coming from Brazil and having been living in Kansas City for the past few years, we thought KC BBQ would be extremely fitting for our celebration and nothing could be better than Zarda.
The price we paid for the amount of people was very reasonable and it was delivered on time and every piece of meat was hand cut and prepared at the location. This unfortunately took a bit longer than expected to prepare but the end result was worth it and everyone made remarks about how good the food was. The presentation was nicely put together and we had multiple options for everyone. We were left very satisfied with our decision. -

When it comes to planning a wedding, there are so many things that come up that make a bride want to pull her hair out or question why she and her husband didn't make the decision to elope.. this was NEVER a question when it came to our catering choice. From the second my parents, at the time fiance, and myself walked into Zarda, we were greeted with nothing but smiles and exceptional service. I knew our decision was made from that very moment, BUT throw in Erin, the catering manager and you have yourself the biggest no brainer of an option EVER. Erin made my day so seamless and easy and the entire catering team hyped me up when they saw me for the first time. They have been my number one choice for all go to things and I cannot wait to have them cater my next big event. I love love love Zarda and I cannot recommend them enough. If you are questioning on whether or not you should go with Zarda, Look no further. They are your right answer. 10/10/10/10 all around. Well done, Zarda and thank you. -

Zarda BBQ did an amazing job catering for our wedding. We had about 125 people and they made sure there was plenty of food. We had multiple people come up to use throughout the night and tell us how yummy the food was. They were very easy to work with and allow for a free tasting in the restaurant which was very nice. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good and affordable food for a wedding, or any event! -

Zarda was amazing to work with for my daughter and son-in-laws wedding! Erin was top notch, always responded quickly and answered any questions. Once we went to the tasting we never had a second thought and booked immediately. They never had to ask one question the day of the wedding. The came in, set up and kept everything hot and filled. It was delicious and then they also packed up the leftovers. I would highly recommend Zarda for any event! -

We worked with Suzanne out of the Lenexa location for our Lawrence wedding, and she was amazing! From the first tasting to communication all throughout the lead up to the wedding, she was flexible and went above and beyond to help answer all of our questions and guide us in the right direction.
We did a sausage and cheese tray during cocktail hour and then burnt ends, pulled pork and smoked Turkey for dinner - everything was a hit. PSA - their new Apple bbq sauce is amazing.
Our guests could not stop raving about the food - I could not stop raving about the food! I didn’t even notice when they came to setup - they were magically efficient with setup and tear down thanks to Dustin and Maria!
Zarda was such an excellent choice all around from pleasing the masses to service level and communication.
Big thanks to the whole Zarda team - they helped make our day perfect and 10/10 would recommend them to anyone for a wedding or other events!

Suzanne at Zarda is the beginning of this amazing experience. She goes above and beyond during your consultation to showcase Zarda's delicious options and really listens to what you like. She makes you feel special before your special day even arrives. During the big day, we got the help of Celeste and Moises. They were flawless. The buffet was clean, fully stocked at all times, and they were exceptional. They even cut our cake and put it out for us! Their customer service was excellent, and I would love to have them again for absolutely any event! Hire Zarda!!! It's great food, for a great price, and great service. You can't go wrong, and in Kansas City, everyone loves good BBQ! -
