  Look no further...

  Choosing Zachera to photograph our wedding was the best decision we made. From start to finish, Zachera was there for us – going above and beyond, helping us warm up to the camera (thank goodness for the engagement shoots!), to staying on calls longer with me to ask how I was doing during the insurmountable wedding planning process, all the while keeping an open and transparent line of communication – Zachera simply ‘gets it’. She is one of the best humans to ever exist that is following her passion, and the expertise that comes with it can be seen in her work. The proof is in the puddin'! My husband and I can’t wait to work with Zachera again during other life milestones!

  Extraordinary photographer

  Hiring Zachera was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable on our wedding day, which really shined through in our photographs. She artfully captured every emotional moment, alongside her second photographer, and we are blown away by the results. Not to mention, having an engagement shoot was a huge plus! It was great to get to know Zachera so early in our planning process and to know she was putting careful thought into every step of the day. You can't go wrong with her!

  Amazing Photography Experience!

  We can't thank Zachera and Sadie enough for everything they did to capture all of the special moments throughout our wedding day. The photos are so perfect, and everyone who has had the chance to see them is amazed at the quality and beauty. We also felt like they really protected our time and wishes throughout the day, and helped us get the photos they knew we'd want while also making sure it was the perfect day. We also noticed how hard they worked, and we are so glad they were there with us every step of the way!

  We can't thank Zachera and Sadie enough for everything they did to capture all of the special moments throughout our wedding day.   The best wedding photographer in Chicago!

  From the moment we met Zachera over a zoom call we were obsessed! She is the sweetest human and beyond talented! One thing that stood out as we were searching for the perfect photographer is that she included an engagement shoot as part of her packages because she wanted to meet us before the big day and get to know us as a couple! We had the best time at our engagement shoot with her and she made us feel so comfortable -it was a blast! The pictures turned out stunning and we will cherish them forever.
  
  Zachera always goes the extra mile - we invited her to our final walkthrough with our venue and she came to scope out photo spots and see the venue with us. It meant so much that she took time out of her busy day to come meet us as we were a month out from our wedding!
  
  On our wedding day as soon as she walked in I was SO excited, at this point she was more than our photographer, but a friend! She came in, set up, and started doing her thing! She took so many pictures and made sure she captured every detail! She made sure we stuck to our timeline and if I needed help with my hair, veil or dress she was there! The pictures turned out so stunning from our first look to walking down the aisle she captured all the emotions we felt on our day so wonderfully. She was quick to return the photos back and I go through them weekly - we are obsessed! I feel very lucky that we were able to work with Zachera. She was the wedding photographer of our dreams and I look forward to working with her again :) If you are looking for a superwoman photographer - she is the gal for you!

  Zachera and her team were FABULOUS

  My husband and I LOVED working with Zachera from day 1. We loved getting to know her during our engagement photo shoot and she was SO understanding and flexible rescheduling with the COVID pandemic going on. On the day of my wedding, Zachera and her team were so easy to work with, captured all parts of our wedding and even stepped up to help with some day-of issues without us even asking when our hotel coordinator was a bit MIA. She brought such a fun energy to our wedding day, was very flexible/adaptable and very professional. All our pictures turned out SO BEAUTIFUL. And we were so impressed at the quick turn around!! We could not thank Zachera enough and will refer her to all friends for future weddings and will hire her again for any future family photos!!

  Book Zachera ASAP!

  We knew photography was going to be a big priority for us going into wedding planning - we wanted to find someone to truly partner with us to capture our special day. We spoke to at a lot of photographers, it was an overwhelming experience - but you know that feeling when your shoulders finally relax, something just clicks and feels right? That's what we both felt after speaking with Zachera. Simply put - Zachera is a special human and an amazingly talented photographer. She has a vibe and energy to her that both excited us about the possibilities of what our wedding could be and calmed the nerves we both had going into planning. Neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera, but Zachera is an artist and made us both feel so comfortable and took the extra effort to get to know us as if we were long-time friends. She worked with us and our wedding planner to put together a seamless timeline that ran perfectly.
  Throughout the entire planning process, she was organized, communicative, professional and perhaps most importantly- intentional about everything she does--ensuring our day was captured just right.
  
  Zachera, her second shooter and coordinator showed up on time with such great excitement and energy. Our sneak peak came with days and our full photo set less than a month later! I can't tell you how much we love our wedding photos and how grateful we are to have found Zachera. If you have the opportunity to work with her, don't pass it up.   Best vendor ever

  Zachera is the absolute BEST! I cannot put into words how incredible our experience with Zachera was but I will try my best! Zachera is that vendor that you recommend to ALL of your family and friends - the one that the moment people get engaged, you're telling them all about her. High quality, professional, fun, energetic, punctual, reliable, organized, prepared - all words that can be used to describe Zachera and her team. My husband and I knew Zachera was the one the moment we hopped on a video call with her. Her positive energy radiated through the screen and we instantly clicked. We felt at ease and knew we were in good hands.
  At our engagement photo session, Zachera made the whole experience so fun and lighthearted. We are both camera shy people but she made us feel so comfortable and even wore a portable speaker for some background music. It was such a nice touch to avoid the silence and made the whole experience feel more romantic and natural. She was so great with our dog as well, which is major brownie points with us!
  Throughout the whole planning process, Zachera was my sounding board. She let me bounce ideas off of her and gave me her honest opinion. She helped me put together my shot list in an organized, realistic manner to ensure the day-of photos ran smoothly. Her communication is superb and her response time made me wonder if she was superhuman.
  Flash forward to the wedding day - what a dream of a photography team. The three ladies were beyond incredible. Everyone was punctual, professional and prepared. They made taking photos painless and were beyond efficient, despite cold and rainy weather. I was able to get not only all of the photos on my shot list, but also all the photos on my extra wish list as well. Zachera was so prepared and even had ginger snaps for me when I was feeling nauseous after the trolley ride. Just beyond incredible.
  Within days of the wedding, we had a massive preview album of GORGEOUS photos. Within weeks of the wedding, we had our full album. Again - I was questioning if she was superhuman. The turnaround time was just unreal and more than I could have ever asked for. The photos are just stunning and I have had so many people reaching out about the incredible quality of the photos. Many people have told me that they have never seen photos this amazing and commented on how incredible my photographer is. You never would have known it was a cold and rainy day if it wasn't for our umbrellas in the shots. Zachera made a gloomy day turn into the dream backdrop for our wedding photos.
  The only downside of working with Zachera is that you will miss her so much once you don't have an excuse to talk to her daily BUT you can always comment on every single insta story and photo she posts (definitely not speaking from experience here LOL) & her response time is just as incredible now that it's all over as the day it all began.
  Zachera was the very best choice my husband made for our wedding and we will definitely be booking her for all of life's events in the future. This is the vendor you can't miss out on - BOOK NOW!!!!!

  Highly skilled, professional, and full of joy

  Thank goodness we had Zachera for our wedding. I highly recommend her if you want beautiful photos in a variety of locations/lighting situations and wonderful, editorial-style shots. Think Vogue or GQ! In addition to being a wonderful person, Zachera has an incredible technical acumen for taking brilliant photos. She was knowledgeable enough to know not only how much sunlight we had left down to the minute for our photos but also managed to capture beautiful moments with 5 minutes of light left to spare. Our hotel room where we got ready was also poorly lit, but she made everyone look like a model. The amount of detail and joy she was able to get in our photos in almost total darkness was so impressive. Zachera is incredibly experienced, and she helped me put together a photo plan that pleased my many family members - and handful of whom were picky professional photographers. She was flexible and fast-acting whenever a new moment came up. Her team is supportive and attentive. They gave very clear recommendations that helped everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. All of our attendants were so impressed how much she thought about composing each shot instead of just rapidly clicking away and hoping to see all the faces and details. She and her team spent time preparing each photo location for us and tested different lighting and posing opportunities before we even arrived to get the best outcomes - something I’ve only seen when working on film projects. I can’t say enough great things about Zachera, her professionalism, and skill.

  Can't Recommend Zachera Enough!

  Zachera is the absolute BEST! She was such a joy to work with for our wedding! From our first meeting with Zachera, we knew we made the right choice for our photographer! Throughout the whole process, Zachera was responsive, helpful, and so easy to work with. She was flexible and accommodating, as shown by our crazy, stormy engagement session that she still managed to capture beautifully. She was organized, efficient, and so professional, taking on our large bridal party and many family photos with ease. Not to mention that her photos are gorgeous - we are obsessed with each of of them! She captured our day so beautifully! We can not say enough good things about Zachera and can not recommend her enough!!

  Captured our day perfectly

  I don’t even know where to begin with Zachera! When I had my first meeting with her back in 2019, I left the coffee shop we met at feeling like I had just caught up with an old friend. This was so important to my husband and I as so many people kept telling us about how much time you spend with your photographer and how important it is to find someone you’re comfortable with.
  
  Zachera was incredible to work with. In our first meeting, she told me that her goal is to capture the feelings and emotions of the day and this couldn’t be more true with our pictures. Our engagement pictures show the glee and excitement of planning and counting down to the big day. Our intimate ceremony pictures capture the love despite what was going on in the world around us. Lastly, the postponed celebration pictures encompass all the love, excitement, and joy all over again and I couldn’t be happier to have these pictures to look back on for years and years.

  With my mother being a photographer, there were BIG shoes to fill. We were immediately taken with Zachera’s website and even more so upon meeting her in person. Her passion for her work is real and clearly evident. Her style is genuine, classic, individual and refined. She is easy to work with and personable. In documenting the moment, she is aware of and attentive to every detail, connection, relationship, emotion and person. She gives direction so that the tiniest gesture or nuance completes the photo. We have never felt so at ease in front of the lens or as beautiful. She captured it all flawlessly. Our wedding photos leave us breathless with each viewing. She has given us the best present and one that will endure. We cannot recommend her highly enough. If and when we need a photographer in the future, there will be no need to look further.   The most incredible photographer ever!

  Zachera photographed our intimate wedding in Lake Geneva this past October and I have nothing but heartfelt compliments to share. To start with her in person presence, Zachera is amazing and there’s no better way to describe her. Although my husband and I had not met her in person yet, she immediately made us feel so calm and at ease throughout our whole day (we both had a lot of anxiety about being the stars of the show that day). Zachera made us laugh and feel like the most confident version of ourselves during our many pictures. She was so personable and just a joy to have join our special day. Next, our actual photographs turned out beyond INCREDIBLE and look like they are out of a magazine. We have not been able to stop swooning over them and each time we share them with someone new, we get the same reaction. On top of all this, Zachera has a keen eye for finding hidden gems at any location she shoots. We were able to get beautiful and unique photos in just a few locations. I would highly recommend her services to anyone - she is worth every penny (and more).

She is an amazing person who is kind, understanding, helpful and genuine which translates to her as a photographer. She is very responsive, welcoming and has such an amazing eye! Using Zachera as our photographer was one of the best decisions we did for our wedding!

  Amazing work, photos still looking timeless after a year

  I'm writing this review almost a year late, and I only hope that I can do some justice to Zachera by saying that after all this time, I'm still in love with my wedding photos just as the day we received them! We got married in May 2022, and even a week ago my friends mentioned Zachera out of the blue and were praising Zachera and her team's professionalism, workflow, and care at our wedding. Throughout the entire process, Zachera has been extremely communicative from day 1 when we inquired about her way back in 2019, survived through two postponements from the pandemic, and finally delivering our finished photos. Zachera's work speaks for itself, and she is just an amazing human being to work with. Zachera knows the right poses to make you and your partner look great on camera, and she definitely hyped us throughout the day with her positive energy. For our wedding, Zachera and her team had to shoot a lot of group photos of family and friends requiring a lot of patience while trying to stick to the schedule, and they executed this so well. I can't imagine anyone other than Zachera capturing our wedding day photos, and we're so thankful to have shared our special day with her!

  Truly Remarkable

  I am in love with Zachera. Zachera, if you read this, we should probably become best friends. Not only is Zachera a beautiful person inside and out, she stuck with my husband and I through the entire pandemic with grace and understanding. For our engagement shoot in 2019, Zachera flew all the way to Los Angeles to take stunning photos on the beach. In 2020 when we had the ever popular mini ceremony, Zachera was there to ensure the day was even more beautiful than we imagined. And in July 2022, Zachera helped us finally celebrate our marriage with our family and friends. She was so patient with me when I was overwhelmed and was more helpful in the planning process than I could have dreamed of. She makes the day fun, makes sure to capture who you and your partner truly are, and manages to make the lighting bend to your every wish. She is truly a photography wizard and extraordinary person. I seriously cannot recommend her more.

  Best Decision Ever!

  Simply put, Zachera was the best decision when it came to our wedding planning! The attention to detail that she & her team had on our wedding day reflected in every photo taken. Looking back at the photos makes our hearts swell; they are breathtaking. In the photos, there were so many intimate moments, so much genuine laughter & so much serenity captured. Beyond the photos, our wedding would have not gone so perfectly if we didn't have Zachera & her team! Zachera had every detail of our timeline down & did everything in her power to keep us on track. With our bi-cultural wedding having so many moving parts, that was not an easy task but she executed it in the politest/smoothest way possible. She is the most personable yet most professional person to work with, which is so important in a photographer because they are side by side with you throughout the whole day. We believe that couples should have a connection with their photographer; with Zachera, it's like she read our minds & never missed a beat. She made us feel confident throughout the whole day and left no room for us to panic. She really goes above and beyond for her couples- to the point that she even picked us up Gatorade on the wedding day when it was getting too hot out for us. That wasn't a one time thing or out of character for her; she checked in throughout the whole time leading up to the wedding, encouraging and supporting us in every way.   Great to work with and SO HELPFUL!

  Zachera is amazing at what she does, I hate having pictures taken of myself and she found a way to make both me and my husband feel comfortable! It’s literally liking having a photo shoot with your best friend! She gives good direction and listened to the fact that I hate posed looking photos. The night of my wedding she was so helpful in so many categories that most photographers probably wouldn’t even think of! She helped my mom bustle my dress, she knew our itinerary and she even ran and got me some food and drinks before our ceremony! Our pictures were delivered in a timely matter after our wedding, we even got a preview while we were on our honeymoon just days after the wedding! I could go on and on about how great of a person Zachera is, but her work speaks for itself!
