  Ygic is the best wedding band

  YGIC was absolutely INCREDIBLE at our wedding. Our guests are still raving about them almost three weeks later, and people who don't generally dance were breaking it down on the dance floor! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They really know how to make a party memorable.

  Best Band!

  Your Generation was a huge part of making my daughter's wedding the magical night that it was. They learned a new song to accommodate the dad/daughter dance and arrived earlier in the day to practice it. You can't have a great party without a great band and this band kept everyone hopping all night long. So many of our guests commented that they have never heard a band like this. One comment word for word was, "that band was so awesome. Truly the best wedding ever." The dance floor was full from the time guests entered the room through the end of the evening. They were responsible for emceeing the entire evening and did it perfectly. . . we could not have asked for more!

  Best band ever!

  The absolute BEST Band in the entire state of Michigan - and they will travel anywhere you need them to go! Don't look any farther and do yourself a favor - HIRE THIS BAND!!! Our daughter's wedding was AMAZING and it was due in large part to this wonderful band! Steve Trudell and Amanda McDonough were always available to speak with and communicated to the band all of our requests. I cannot speak highly enough about all of the wonderful people in the band and those associated with them. Every single person at the wedding communicated that they felt like they were at a private concert! It was a fabulous evening that we didn't want to come to an end!!!

  Amazing band!

  I still cannot believe the party that Your Generation gave us. The dance floor NEVER stopped! All of our guests are still talking about them. Worth every dollar spent and then some. Can't wait to book them for our next daughter. Their talent and showmanship is the coolest ever. It's more of a concert than a wedding band. Most fun EVER.

  This is by far the best band in Michigan! Everyone at the wedding had the best time and the band has been the #1 most talked about reason as to why the wedding was so fun. Thank you!

  Your Generation was amazing! Their high energy was contagious. Our guests were so entertained that the overall opinion was it was the best wedding anyone had ever been to! They had some extra special touches that personalized the performance for the wedding party. I won't add details because it was a wonderful surprise!

  Splurging on YGIC for our daughter's wedding was probably the best move we made, as they truly made the event. And they are a bit pricey, but worth it. Almost a year later guests are still talking about the amazing band. The dance floor was packed non-stop - YGIC kept the party going all night with their high-energy and flawless performance of hits from 80’s – current hits. Understand that this is not a "traditional" wedding band, and don't expect them to play all the standards -- though they did learn a couple of songs just for us, and their Bohemian Rhapsody (our choice) was the perfect finale. They were easy to work with, and we just couldn't have made a better choice.

  YGIC played at our daughter’s wedding reception and I can’t think of enough superlatives to use to describe their performance and our experience. Starting with Amanda in the office and continuing up through Brian in the band and Steve, himself, everyone we dealt with was prompt, attentive and professional. The quality of their music and their energy was unparalleled. The dance floor was filled all night long. More importantly, they played the songs we requested. And while they have an extensive playlist of their own, they took the time to learn a new song for the bridal dance, as well as a couple of new songs that were special to each of the bride and groom’s families. Another accommodation – they agreed to take only one “long” break instead of the usual two. So their break occurred around 10pm instead of 11. We all know what happens when the band breaks at 11pm – people use it as an excuse to start to leave. That didn’t happen, almost everyone stayed until the end, when they were treated to one of the best final song renditions of Bohemian Rhapsody you have ever heard. EVERYONE was singing along. Now, YGIC does not come cheap - they were our most expensive band option. However, they proved the adage that “you get what you pay for.” We had decided, as we allocated funds, that the band makes or breaks a reception, so we considered YGIC one of our “splurges.” And boy, did they ever “make” the reception. Perhaps the best barometer of just how good they are is that we had guests tell us, days, weeks and even months after the wedding, that YGIC was the best wedding band they had ever seen. Finally, I was concerned that YGIC might be more comfortable in a “performance” setting, and may not do well at a reception. I should not have been concerned, and neither should you. If you have a chance, go see them play and you will be sold. They are hands down worth every penny you will pay for a reception band. So stop your searching and call them NOW!

My husband is a singer and they let him sing two songs with them and it was seriously such a highlight of our day.   Ok so...anyone who has seen Fifty Amp Fuse will not need to be told they are the best band in Michigan and in my opinion, the best I've ever heard anywhere. These guys are so fabulous that you'll have to be careful if the word gets out that you've hired them because people will try to crash your wedding just to have a chance to hear them LOL...seriously our guests told us they have never been at a wedding with music as good, they felt they were at a concert. Hardly anyone left our wedding because of them...the dance floor was packed until the lights came on. Our venue told us that Fifty Amp was the best music they had ever heard at their facility! Hire them, but keep in mmind these guys are professionals in high demand...don't be a bridezella and micro-manage them, you won't need to they know exactly what they're doing and will make your wedding unforgettable!!   Thank you Stephanie! Unfortunately, the barn presented a challenge since they do not have existing PA. As we only own one high-quality PA system, the additional one had to be rented at cost. We appreciate your feedback, and wish you the best!
