The Wurlitzer and my event coordinator Ali were amazing. I had my ceremony in the upstairs ballroom and the reception in the downstairs ballroom. Ali was super helpful in my planning process, was super responsive to my many emails, and set up my decor exactly as I wanted. I have nothing but good things to say about the Wurlitzer as the building is beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, the downstairs bridal suite was super convenient, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They were also flexible with the dietary issues of my guests. I would highly recommend the Wurlitzer. -

Wedding Review
I could never recommend a place or staff more than the Wurlizter. Don was beyond accommodating and kept me relaxed and at ease during our wedding planning. He was always there when we needed hi via phone call or email and I never felt like I was bothering him. He truly went above and beyond for us and made our wedding reception the most beautiful experience we could have asked for. The food was incredible and people are still raving to us about it. I will never not recommend the Wurlitzer to all of our family and friends. Ali was incredible as well and helped Don make our space beautiful--I couldn't have pictured it better in my head. The space itself is gorgeous and spacious. My wedding was close to 300 people but there was still plenty of room for dancing, no lines at the bars and never felt crowded for even a second. From someone who has a fear of trusting the process Don, Ali and the Wurlitzer staff gave me no reason not to. I am forever grateful for the experience I had with the Wurlizter. 1000/10. -

The Wurlitzer is a beautiful venue for a wedding! We had our wedding on 9/6/24 on the first floor room and had our rehearsal dinner the night before on the second floor room. Both rooms are amazing and spacious! I can’t say enough about the food both days. Our guests still talk about how amazing the food was. We had a buffet for the rehearsal dinner and surf/turf plated for our wedding. Ali was our wedding coordinator and she was phenomenal! I would work with her over and over again. Her attention to detail is incredible! My husband and I said for our next event we will definitely be reaching out to The Wurlitzer and Ali! Our wedding vision was brought to life and everything looked amazing! I will always recommend this venue location. Ali and The Wurlitzer staff at both the rehearsal dinner and our wedding ceremony were on top of everything. Everyone was so sweet, kind, and helpful and made us feel so good knowing everything was taken care of. -

We actually booked a different venue originally and four months later, they called everyone who booked with them to cancel. We decided to contact the Wurlitzer as our backup based on recommendations from coworkers and we are SO glad we did. Don was so responsive, and blocked off our date before we even came to tour. He didn't even know about our previous venue canceling. The best thing that could've happened to us was our first venue canceling. We loved it way more than the first one. Don was extremely great to work with and we appreciated how flexible he was. We also felt like the Wurlitzer was the only place that truly wanted us to have a great wedding, and didn't just want to nickel and dime us for everyone. The price was affordable, staff was great, food was hot when it came out and delicious and the space is beautiful. HIGHLY recommend you book your wedding at the Wurlitzer! -

I truly don’t even know where to begin! My husband and I knew instantly after our tour of the Wurlitzer that this was the venue for us! Not only because the space itself was stunning but because of how comfortable Ali made us feel. We had the honor of working closely with Ali over the last 2 years and I can’t think of a better person to trust our wedding with! Her attention to detail goes unmatched and she genuinely cares about her couples. She always kept in mind what our vision was and did everything in her power to give us our dream wedding! When I tell you the level of shock my husband and I were in when we walked into our reception space.. absolutely unreal and perfect in every way. I get goosebumps thinking about how perfect everything was! Every single person who I have talked to has raved about how good the food, bar and staff were, all of which were very important to my husband and I. For anyone looking for a venue for any sort of event, the Wurlitzer is the place to be! You are guaranteed a beautiful space, good food and phenomenal staff!
I loved everything about our day so much that I had to send Ali a message immediately about how perfect everything was and how grateful my husband and I were for her! The Wurlitzer will hold a special place in our hearts forever and we can’t wait to host future events there!

Calling all future brides BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!
I cannot say enough, how wonderful Don and the team at Wurlitizer are! From the first meeting to the night of our wedding Don was on top of everything. Every detail was executed and no matter what was happening every employee that we encountered took the time to congratulate us and check in. Don communicates regularly and is honest and transparent. This venue is beautiful by itself but when you layer in a team that is truly dedicated to exceptional service it truly makes a difference. -

Don was great to work with. He was very flexible with us and we had a tight timeframe since we wanted to get married in 3 months. Don and his team were very attentive prior and on the night of our reception. We had the best time and have heard from so many of our guests that everything was perfect!! -

Bridal Shower April 2024
We were very pleased with our bridal shower event at the Wurlitizer. We were in the recital room and the tables were set up as requested. Tammy was very responsive to all of my emails prior to this event. She was very attentive during the event. Food was delicious. This is a perfect venue for any type of event. -

We are so happy with our decision to go with the Wurlitzer for our wedding. Don Warfe is the absolute best and was so accommodating to literally every request we made. All of our guests were so impressed with the food, the service and the beautiful venue. -

I want to start by saying this has to be the best wedding venue in WNY. We were able to have our dream wedding 5-15-21. Don and his staff went above and beyond to make our day absolutely amazing. The food, atmosphere, and service was top notch. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding. All through Covid when we weren’t sure if our day would happen, Don remained calm and supportive. Where do I even start. Don you rock. You made our whole wedding planning process so simple & stress free. Thank you for giving us the most perfect day of our lives. If we had to do it all over again we would choose Wurlitzer Events in a heartbeat. The food was phenomenal, the staff and service was exceptional. From the minute we walked into the Wurlitzer I knew my wedding had to be here. It was confirmed after talking to Don who made our entire experience amazing. He answered my questions promptly, was accommodating with our requests, and ensured our day went off without a hitch. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to future brides. When we first went to check out this venue we knew we were a small wedding and were told that the upstairs room would be a good fit based on our size! We checked it out and liked the room but didnt feel like it was quite for us. I asked if we could see the downstairs room and we knew this was the venue for us. We took one good look at the first floor room and thats all it took! We told the venue we want this room and to go over the options. We asked about having the ceremony outside on the patio and was told that we can do that! Well all went well the communication remained good throughout the whole time and come time for the wedding. The day of there were a couple small hiccups from our wedding but they continue to be courteous and correct the hiccups and make things right! But i still recommend this venue; everything came together beautifully and i wouldnt have gone anywhere else! All of our guests raved about the food the venue made! And of course drinks were good too! Our main contact has been just amazing and extremely flexible and very willing to help! Glad we got in to this venue for our wedding! Now this place is the place to be for getting married! I understand why! I am glad we got that opportunity!Wurlitzer Events's reply:

Everything about Events at the Wurlitzer was amazing. We had a great experience, and all our wedding guests had a great time. The decor was breath taking, the food was exceptional!!! The service staff went above and beyond! -

Wedding in the Wurlitzer Tower Room
We did our wedding in the upstairs room at the Wurlitzer, which was cost effective comparative to many other wedding venues in the area and venue was beautiful on the day of the wedding. Don and the Wurlitzer staff were easy to work with and I would recommend the Wurlitzer to anyone getting married in the Buffalo area. There was one issue after our wedding, however, which kept me from giving a perfect 5-star review. We had given the staff a box for each table that had several things inside, one being a card to place on each table so the guests seated there could write a message to us that we could open on future anniversaries. We received the boxes when we went to pick up all the wedding decorations the next morning, but did not realize until a few weeks later that the cards had not been placed back inside. We never located these, though admittedly this is partially on us as we did not reach back out to the venue to see if they could find them. It would have been nice though if there was more clearly blocked off space in the storage room for each event, as by the time we picked up our things another event was also using the space. With that said, I would choose the Wurlitzer again as our venue. -

The Wurlitzer was a beautiful setting for our November reception. The food was amazing, the space clean and well kept, and the staff beyond professional. Don and his team made our day perfect. We had attended a wedding here prior to booking our own, and knew as soon as we got engaged that this was the venue for us. We loved the patio just outside the space with string lights and a fire pit - which proved to be a popular spot for some of our guests even during the chilly November evening. Our guests raved about the food and our final guest list of 250 fit perfectly in the room - even with a full band, remembrance table, and more ( I was very concerned about feeling cramped, but the space was just right with a perfectly sized dance floor). A system glitch did cause us to have to change our date early on, but it was caught close enough to signing our contract that it didn't cause issues with other vendors. Also, not all of the details we provided the team to set up were put out (small detailed items), but we were the only ones who knew that it didn't happen, so it wasn't something that affected our guests' experience, which is what it's ultimately about! This venue also had a special family tie for us - as a great-uncle used to work at the building in it's first life as a piano factory. This venue is the perfect combination of old world industrial meets modern design. It could stand on it's own without much additional decor, but could also be a blank slate for any theme. Love it and can't wait to attend more events here as guests!
