WOW is right!!! Chuck sure did bring the WOW factor. We interviewed many DJ's as this is a VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL! Picking the right DJ is crucial in pleasing your guests, and let me tell you BOOK CHUCK!! Every bride has their worries pre-wedding, and mine were that the dance floor would not be busy. Not once did I have that worry the day of!!! Chuck did an AMAZING job of keeping the dance floor busy and keeping our FLOW of events going- which is SO important. Our wedding guests still talk about how much of a blast they had 2 months post-wedding!! Chuck was personal and professional. He checked in with us and accommodated to our needs in the best way. I have been to a few weddings and there were times where they were just BORING because no one wanted to get out and dance or the flow of events was just not working. Weddings that are boring is strictly because of a poor DJ. We had Chuck this was not the case AT ALL! Not only did he do a fantastic job as a DJ, his MC skills are above and BEYOND! He was the perfect balance of everything you could want. Guests of all ages were out on the dance floor ALL NIGHT!!! I also laughed more than I ever had during the shoe game that Chuck so seamlessly put together. He was so patient with my sound-geek father and worked very well with him. His sound quality was amazing as the music was never blaring, but provided QUALITY sound. On top of all of it, his pricing was reasonable. You will not regret booking Chuck, he brings the WOW factor!! He truly made our reception the BEST EVER!

A night to remember
Chuck from Wow Factor DJ was great from the first time we reached out to him to the very end of our daughter's wedding celebration. Chuck provided the music for both the wedding ceremony and reception that was held in downtown Grand Rapids. The dance floor was packed the whole night and he was able to bring to life exactly what the bride and groom wanted! We heard nothing but stellar reviews from the crowd about the music! The perfect DJ for our wedding
Chuck with Wow Factor DJ is amazing. He’s professional, personable, and quite reasonably priced.
He listened to our desires for the dance floor before the wedding and built a playlist that was perfect for us. He also was great at reading the dance floor and knowing what song to play next!
His setup is first rate. He brings his own mics, speakers, table & equipment, and light show.
He kept the reception running smoothly throughout the whole night. We can’t recommend enough!!

July Wedding in GR
Chuck was communicative before and throughout the entire wedding. He double-checked the names and pronunciation, as well as the songs that were going to be played, and ensured that the songs we wanted to hear most were played throughout the night. I did not have to worry about his setup or take-down because he had it all figured out. He made my day, as the bride, smoother and easier, so I did not have to fret. My family and friends enjoyed his setup and how easily he played songs they requested. I would highly recommend him as a DJ to any of my friends or family who were having an event.

Chuck was incredible as our DJ and MC for our July wedding! His attention to detail and professionalism made the entire day flow seamlessly. If you want your DJ to truly bring the WOW factor to your event, book Chuck! We rang in 2025 with Chuck at an incredible NYE/25th wedding Anniversary party. Chuck is extremely accommodating, excellent at communication, reliable and his equipment and lighting are all top notch! He truly made our evening effortless and kept the dance floor PACKED all night long. I’m going to take the liberty of calling Chuck a “DJologist.” He understands and actually studies your crowd and truly delivers a personalized prescription for FUN! The atmosphere that his equipment lights and lighting towers created really set the scene for a great party. I now understand why his name is wow factor, he absolutely lives up to his name.

We had the pleasure of having Chuck from WOW Factor DJ our daughter's wedding reception. He truly exceeded all expectations. Our main concerns were the variety of music, the flow of the reception and the sound quality. We have been to plenty of wedding receptions that none of that was considered and resulted in no one on the dance floor and people leaving early. From start to finish, he kept the energy high and the flow of the reception seamless. The music was was varied for all tastes, and he did a fantastic job transitioning between moments, ensuring that the reception never lost momentum and we could actually hear the speeches!! It was so important to us that our guests were able to enjoy every word spoken and Chuck made sure the sound was crisp and clear.

Chuck was awesome! We last minute hired a dj and he stepped right up and was soooo helpful. Very thorough right from the beginning. He really kept the party going the whole time too and we so very much appreciated him for everything. It was the most fun dancing I’ve ever had at any wedding and I’m proud it was for mine!
He was willing to work with our budget too.
And probably my favorite thing. Our nephew was VERY interested in the sound equipment and Chuck was SO kind to indulge his curiosity and that means a lot to us.

Amazing experience working with Chuck!
We had a fantastic experience working with Chuck! He was attentive to detail, so easy to work with, and helped us customize the details of our wedding music as much as we wished, allowing us to pick out exact songs for certain parts of the day vs just selecting genres for other parts (e.g. Jazz for cocktail hour) when decision-fatigue got real. His music selections throughout the day were perfect, especially during the reception during which time our dance floor was NEVER empty and everyone raved that they had so much fun. He had great energy for day which was contagious. All of our guests told us they loved the music and we absolutely agree - every single song made the day so fun and perfect! Everybody Loves Chuck
First off, Chuck at Wow Factor DJ's was amazing. We have all been to a wedding that had an okay or even below average DJ. They seem awkward or don't really have a feel for the vibe of the event. July 14th, 2023 my wife and I got married at New Vintage Place in Grand Rapids, MI. We are both 29, for reference. Chuck helped make this the best day of our lives. He was well prepared and transparent with us on all accounts. He gave excellent suggestions and listened to all of our questions, comments, and concerns. The day of operations were seamless and he handed everything from the audio at the ceremony to keeping the party going all night. We had a wide range of ages at our reception and everybody got up to dance. He was open to song request too, even Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas is You". This is a hilarious inside joke and is a memory my wife and I will have forever. I would recommend Chuck at Wow Factor DJs to anyone.

We could not have been happier. Chuck was amazing. I almost can't oversell it. He was incredibly communicative and made sure that speeches, dances, and everything was ordered, checked, and practiced beforehand. My dad was nervous about his dance so Chuck played it for him a few times during sound check to practice with a great attitude. He did an awesome job of reading the crowd to pick songs to keep everything moving and his transitions were great. The song we picked for the end of the night didn't land as we hoped and he clearly saw that so he mixed it into two more that ended everything on an awesome note. We aren't getting married again but if we were we wouldn't use anyone else. Do it. Book him!

He was very easy to work with and it was clear during our planning meetings that he has a lot of experience - he gave great tips that we hadn’t thought about for overall timing and layout. The best part was the dance floor! We had a couple of different age groups in our guest list so we gave a wide variety of song choices. During the reception Chuck really knew how to pick songs to keep people on the dance floor and what songs to play to get more people out. My favorite unexpected part was his lighting setup! Amazing experience at Goei Center

WOW is right!!!
When I tell you that we could not recommend Chuck more - we mean it!! We got married June 24th and our guests are STILL talking about how amazing our reception was. This is all thanks to Chuck! His communication was top-notch - from calls before the wedding, checking in to make sure he had everything right, and keeping us on pace the day of, we wouldn’t have had so much fun on our wedding day without him. Our ceremony was at a different location than our reception, and Chuck was PERFECT!!! He had everything planned out to make sure that he was where we needed him. Chuck is so personable, easy to work with, and made our wedding day so memorable. Our friends are getting married next August and are using his DJ services, and we cannot wait to party it up with him again!!! We will always recommend him to our friends and family in the future!!

Couldn't have picked a better DJ!
We hired Chuck for my daughter's wedding and reception and he did a wonderful job for both! He picked out just the right songs for the reception to keep the dance floor moving all night long...and we had a dry wedding! I got a lot of compliments on him from our guests. You won't be disappointed!

Perfect DJ for our Wedding!
Chuck did a great job of DJ'ing for our ceremony and reception! He was very responsive to all of our questions and requests and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Another thing a lot of our guests really appreciated is that he didn't drown out the venue with noise and allowed those not dancing to have conversations and not have to yell. We would definitely recommend Wow Factor DJ to anyone looking!

Communication was so wonderful. Our playlist was exactly what we wanted. He was on time, very kind and flexible. Even though it was a small wedding he kept the dance floor moving!!! Highly recommend to anyone. The dance floor lighting was an extra touch that I didn’t know was included! You rock chuck!

“Wow” indeed!!
We hired Wow Factor Dj for our wedding, and what a great choice that was! Chuck is a super personable guy with loads of charisma! His golden, radio voice lured people onto the dance floor, where he kept them dancing all night long! We never wanted the night to end! Chuck was very intricate. All around awesome
Great experience with Wow Factor DJs. Chuck was awesome to work with. The planning was simple and most importantly Chuck was very dependable, which is the single most important factor for any vendor.
Wedding night went amazingly. Chuck was a lot of fun & executed the planning guide perfectly while still being flexible and reading the crowd to play music that kept all the guests entertained all night.
Would definitely recommend Wow Factor DJ to anyone!!

No Brainer- This is Your Go-To DJ!
Chuck is great! He played all of our requested songs plus kept the music in line with our style of music after all of our songs had been played. He really gauged the dance floor and what would work best to keep my guests happy and dancing. I even had to extend out our original ending time by another 45 minutes since folks were having such a great time! I love that Chuck was able to do that for us. He is a great communicator, very easy-going, and just a joy to have at our wedding. Look no further!

Chuck was fantastic to work with! He was very thorough throughout the planning process going through every step of the ceremony & reception making sure he knew everything we wanted. His planning guides are a super helpful tool! He was very responsive to all our questions and super friendly the whole time. This definitely made him an AWESOME DJ because he was super personable. Chuck is so prepared he managed to catch that our officiant had left the microphone on since their early morning check and was almost dead right before ceremony start. He was able to quickly swap the almost dead battery with one of his spares, and everything flowed smoothly without any visible delay. We played the “shoe game” / newlywed game and it was a huge hit – Chuck read off some questions that our wedding party came up with, along with some questions of his own (“who is more likely to drop their phone in the toilet?” I /have/ done this lol). It was a BLAST. And he got the crowd going right away – we recommend the “all couples dance” after the first dance/father-daughter/mother-son to get everyone on the dance floor and get the party started! He was able to read the crowd and know what music to play next, and how to keep people dancing. Definitely recommend Chuck – he does bring the WOW Factor!

Chuck was our DJ for our ceremony and reception this past April and he did an amazing job! His planning guides and pre wedding meetings made it very easy for us to decide on song selections and music genres. He was very professional day of the wedding. He kept the flow of the wedding going with no hiccups, which was so great. He was able to keep people, varying in ages from teens-70 years old, out on the dance floor for the entire reception. He was also always checking in with us to make sure everything was going how we would like it which was very much appreciated. We got so may compliments from our guests. I've been to weddings all over the US and Chuck is the best DJ I've seen, hands down! My wife and I have been to several receptions that Chuck DJed and loved him enough to ask or daughter to hire him for her wedding. All of our friends have mentioned what a great job he did.
He works with the couple to get just the right music mix they want. He keeps things on schedule, and is very professional.
And to prove the point, our son just got engaged and intends to hire Chuck for his wedding.

We are so happy we had Chuck as our DJ on our special day. He's a true professional at what he does. Leading up to our wedding, he was very sharp about communication and made sure he understood our style and what we wanted. We had a couple of unique song requests for our ceremony that we weren't sure were going to work, but he was able to track them down and play them with no problem. During the reception, he quickly got a feel for his audience and the dance floor filled up very quickly, and it stayed full the entire night. We received so many complements from friends and family saying that our wedding reception was so much fun and that the music was the perfect vibe. He even picked up from some speeches earlier on in the day that we had met at MSU, and he played the MSU fight song for us, which was definitely one of our favorite moments of the night. Our wedding day got pretty delayed from rain but Chuck was great at communicating with our other vendors to make sure everything still ran smoothly! Chuck also brought lights, which added a fun effect to the dance floor. Not to mention, his prices are extremely affordable compared to other DJs in the area, and the quality he provides is the best you'll find. Thank you Chuck for helping to make our wedding day such a fun time!

Chuck was amazing and made our wedding reception absolutely perfect! Throughout the process from booking through the reception he was very communicative and always got back with me in a timely manner. He was a great help in the planning process to make sure that everything from cocktail hour through the last song went off without a hitch. He helped with music recommendations when we were stuck and was able to provide great feedback from past weddings that he has done to help with our decision making. He was wonderful the day of he wedding as well, arriving on time, and handling the wedding pat showing up late so perfectly that no one else knew we were late. (What can I say, we were having fun taking pictures.) The dance floor was packed all night! Even people that do not normally dance were out on the floor. I cannot recommend Wow Factor DJ enough! I can't imagine my reception without him. He really helped make the night as magical for everyone as it felt for me.

Chuck was the DJ for my sister’s wedding a couple years ago and when my wife and I were planning our wedding there was no question we wanted Chuck to be our guy. My one biggest piece of advice I give to couples planning a wedding is don’t underestimate how important an amazing DJ is for your wedding. Chuck made sure that the logistics of the reception went really smoothly and then brought the dance floor to life at night! Some DJs can put a damper on a good dancing crowd with too much mixing, not the right songs, etc., but not Chuck! He reads the room perfectly and makes sure that everyone, from the flower girls and ring bearers to college friends all the way up to grandparents are having a great time on the dance floor! Thanks Chuck for being a great part of our awesome day!

BEST WEDDING DJ EVER! I cannot recommend Chuck enough for your wedding. First, he is so professional and knows what he is doing! We through a few curve balls at him during the wedding and he was on top of everything even last minute. Most importantly, Chuck knows how to keep everyone on the dance floor the whole night! I have never seen a dance floor filled the whole night until our wedding because of Chuck. He reads the room and knows exactly what to play. He also will listen to you (the bride and the groom) and will play whatever you want whenever you needed it. Chuck, THANK YOU for being the best DJ and making our wedding perfect!

Chuck was the best!
Chuck was a dream to work with! He makes everything easy by his planning guides. We talked to Chuck a couple of times on the phone to make sure the day went smoothly, and it did! He was in communication with us throughout the day to make sure we knew what we should be doing next. He was in communication with all of the vendors to make sure things ran smoothly. He even triple checked that he was pronouncing names of the wedding party correctly. The most important part... he knew how to keep a crowd on the dance floor!! We had a large crowd on the floor all night dancing and singing and having a great time. We got so many compliments on the DJ and we cannot thank Chuck enough. If you're looking for a great time with an experienced DJ, Chuck is your guy!!

Great Experience!
Chuck DJ’ed my wedding and did a phenomenal job! He met with my husband and I and walked us through the night and how everything would flow. He was great at keeping us on a schedule and he kept the dance floor going. His prices are very reasonable as well and we recommend him to our friends who are getting married in the next year.

Hire chuck for your dj!
The best DJ around!! Chuck is experienced, friendly to work with, and keeps the party going all night! We got married in 95 degree weather and Chuck had a great attitude and kept the dance floor packed while in the heat. HIGHLY recommend!!

Hands down best dj ever! From beginning to end, Chuck made our day so perfect in every way. He saw my vision and made it come to life and was very quick in responding to any questions I had. DJ Chuck was the perfect man for the job! From beginning to end, he handled himself very professionally. We loved that he took the time before our wedding to meet with us and got to know us a little better before our big day. We had so many people that attended our wedding come up to us afterwards and tell us how much fun the DJ was, which was very important to us. There were a few minor hiccups that occurred due to the extreme heat and inclement weather in the area but he did not panic and made us feel like he had everything under control the whole night. Overall 10/10 for DJ Chuck!!

Great DJ! Great guy! Highly recommend!
Wow Factor DJ was awesome! We were down to the wire with finding our DJ and I’m so thankful we found Chuck. He was very helpful throughout the planning process and double checked every detail with us beforehand and upon our arrival to the venue. We didn’t give him much to go on for dancing music but he was able to keep the party moving throughout the night! Overall great guy, great service and would highly recommend!

Chuck was incredible. We were behind schedule when we arrived at the reception and he got us back up to speed. He made sure that he kept our guests involved in everything and made many announcements to get the attention of the crowd for the dances, bouquet/garter toss, and our fireworks. There was always someone on the dance floor. I highly recommend DJ WOW Factor.

Highly recommend!
We initially hired WOW Factor DJ because of his fair pricing and he seemed experienced and knowledgeable about DJing at weddings. Well, hiring him ended up being the best decision we could have made! Because of the covid pandemic, we ended up having to change venues, timeline and plans, and Chuck was flexible and helped us out so much. He gave us awesome and unique suggestions when we were stuck on which songs to choose, and he listened to our requests and quickly understood our group's preferred music style. Even with less than half the number of guests we initially expected, he somehow kept the dance floor full the entire night! Thanks for everything, Chuck!!

Best DJ experience ever!
Chuck was recommended to us by our videographer! He is so good at what he does - he was so prompt with letting us know what he would need on our wedding day from us, and in turn, that helped us plan for adequate space for him to do his job so well. Our wedding coordinator complimented us at the end of our wedding day, saying that our vendors were so wonderful and great to work with, and Chuck was a huge part of that. I didn’t feel like he was just a vendor trying to get a paycheck - he truly made our day special, and kept everyone moving on the dance floor. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Chuck! We highly recommend his services!

Hands down, the BEST!
From the first time we met Chuck, we knew that he was the DJ for us. He has so much experience with getting crowds on the dance floor and staying there. He ended up doing our ceremony and reception, and our entire day went flawlessly.
We had so many friends come up to us at the wedding, and even in the weeks that followed asking about our DJ. They LOVED him! He took all of our requests into consideration and customized the night to fit our personalities and crowd. He also has a great selection of games/activities to keep the night fun before dancing even began.

Wow wow wow I cannot say enough good things about Chuck with Wow Factor DJ!!!!!!!! He was fun, kind, professional, affordable, knowledgeable, the list goes ON. He made our wedding day absolutely magical and he has a true talent for what he does. He did both our music for our ceremony (which was outdoors, and it still sounded absolutely perfect) as well as our reception. He was phenomenal and every song he played was an absolute hit. Chuck was awesome. He was extremely flexible and accommodating to work with as we adjusted our wedding plans from a venue where we expected 200 guests to a backyard wedding with only 35 guests. He went above and beyond and came to our rehearsal to ensure that his sound equipment synched with the virtual streaming service we used to hold our wedding over Zoom. Even with a small wedding, the dance floor was packed the entire night! He was great at recognizing what music everyone was enjoying and quickly changed songs that did not appeal to the party. Would highly recommend.

Dancing all night!
One of my worries for my wedding was an empty dance floor. Looking back, there was not one time that I remember the dance floor empty!!! Chuck was so easy to work with and was open to changes, even when they were with five minutes notice. He helped us keep the ceremony and reception on schedule, and the reception upbeat. Guests still are talking about how our wedding was the most fun they had ever been to and I can’t thank Chuck enough for that! My legs and feet are sore from dancing, and my heart is so full from how grateful I am for Chuck and his talent. I cannot recommend Wow Factor enough!!

The Very Best!
I literally cannot say enough good things about Wow Factor DJ. From our very first phone meeting, he clearly understood exactly what my husband and I were looking for and immediately began offering suggestions. Our wedding was July 12, so we were battling covid restrictions on and off. Chuck was flexible and beyond helpful - even able to recommend other vendors due to complications. Our ceremony and reception were both moved outside, and Chuck absolutely kept the vibe going and went above and beyond keeping us to our timeline! His planning sheets made everything a breeze and it felt like our whole soundtrack was very much US! We got so many compliments on our music selections, most of which were his doing. These are crazy times, but I absolutely could not recommend Wow Factor DJ more. He kept in communication leading up to, as well as during our wedding. He was flexible in the placement of his set up being moved and set the mood for our whole wedding. I've been to plenty of weddings where the DJ just plays the same soundtrack you always hear, and this was not what happened with Chuck! Book him asap!

Terrific Experience With Chuck
We're a little late to writing this review; but we had to make sure we left a review of Chuck's DJ business, Wow Factor. For most of our wedding planning experience, it was fairly straightforward and convenient. The vendors were respectful of our time, and provided us a remarkable experience. Our biggest pain point was the DJ services. My wife and I are both music fiends and have unique tastes, and are very particular over our music list. Many of the DJs we met with were a little over the top, pushy, or had made suggestions to songs that weren't really, us. Then we met Chuck and Wow Factor. We explained our song tastes and Chuck had us share our lists/recommendations, he followed each song precisely, and didn't waste our time with unnecessary questions/complications. He performed the audio for the vows, announcements, and even worked with us for requests. Overall we can't recommend Wow Factor enough. We had our wedding at the John Ball Zoo, Bissell Tree House, and you could tell Chuck had been there before, ready to go.

Amazing DJ with small wedding!
We hired Chuck several years after being guests at a wedding he DJ'd. The first wedding we attended was amazing and the dance floor was full the entire evening, which was exactly what I hoped for with my wedding!
My guest list was fairly small (70ish), and Chuck kept the party going for us.
A couple ways he stood out:
1. His communication was very good prior to the event. I appreciated that he met with us in person multiple times to ensure we were on the same page.
2. Our wedding was at a venue he had never been to before, but he ensured that he arrived early to familiarize himself to prevent any hiccups.
3. He managed our timeline perfectly - even getting on the caterers to get the buffet cleaned up so that we could start our first dance at the time I had requested.
I would recommend Chuck to anyone, in fact I think he may be DJing another wedding in our friend group next summer since we have all learned that he is without a doubt the best!

Chuck knocked it out of the park for my wedding! He played at my sister’s wedding and everyone had such a good time I had to book him for mine! Great variety of oldies and top hits - he knew how to read our crowd and the dance floor was the place to be the entire night (just how I wanted it!) Chuck is now playing at one of my bridesmaids wedding this spring, cant wait!

I can’t say enough good things! We ended up looking for a DJ for our wedding a little last minute and ended up contacting Chuck. He responded quickly and was incredibly helpful with going through the whole process and gave us a clear picture of how the day would look!
