Best faux florals around!
Working with Jennifer was very seamless. Her process was very easy to manage and communication was great. Her artistic abilities are incredible and we were very happy with our arrangements. Her prices were reasonable for the product and labor. We would HIGHLY recommend Jennifer/Wood and Word Blooms to anybody and everybody! Many of our guests complimented how stunning our florals were and they couldn’t believe that they were wooden flowers. Thank you again Jennifer for everything! -

Jennifer at Wood & Word Blooms was amazing to work with, and everything looked stunning! We got so many compliments on our arch swags, corsages, boutonnieres, and bouquets! The ability to completely customize the flower colors to perfectly match the wedding colors really ties the whole look together and makes everything flow seamlessly. Beyond the colors, there’s so many unique flower shapes and sizes to choose from, there really is no limit to what can be done to suit your wedding. Jennifer was great at providing us with design aid in order to help create our vision and bring it to life. The best part is that now we have them to keep and display forever, looking as good as the day we got them! -

Jen was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took my idea of Harry Potter inspired bouquets and made it a reality. Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.
I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go! -

Based on an recommendation from a friend I reached out to Jen for my wedding flowers. We had a small wedding and I knew that I wanted something I could keep and hold onto. Don't be shy of the DIY!
Jen is incredible and worth every penny! My husband and I weren't very sure about how we wanted our wedding florals to look. We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms!
Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Everything came out so beautifully and was perfect for our day. Thank you Jen! -

Found Jen through WeddingWire after falling in love with the idea of doing sola flowers for our wedding. Jen made my bouquet, my husband's boutonnière and then dyed 200 loose blooms for us (which I used for our centerpieces, wedding party florals and cake.) I also bought three corsage kits from her to assemble myself, with flowers that matched our colors. Jen was incredibly easy to work with, a brilliant artist and a helpful collaborator. I loved the pieces she created for us (though I would probably go smaller in retrospect--The medium bouquet was bigger than I expected!)
Going with Jen as our vendor was all the best of DIY *and* white glove service.
Best part of all is that my bouquet now lives in our home as a beautiful centerpiece and a wonderful reminder of our wedding day. -

Absolutely amazing!
Jen was so sweet and easy to work with! I changed my order a few times and she never complained, just walked me through the changes. My flowers were GORGEOUS! I received so so so many compliments on how beautiful and real looking they are. I love that I can keep them forever and put them on display or Jen said she can turn them into a wreath. This was the best decision I made for my bouquet for my wedding day. I would highly recommend getting your flowers from Jen, you will not be sorry! -

Beautiful forever flowers!
I knew I wanted Sola wooden flowers for my wedding but I also knew I was not creative enough to make my own. When I found my wedding venue, The Hinterland, she had a Wood and Word Blooms floral arrangement on display and I knew this was the direction I needed to go! Jen makes beautiful floral creations and she worked with me to create exactly what I had pictured!
Jen was easy to work with and quick to respond. I just provided pintrest photos and colors that I was thinking and Jen worked her magic. I trusted her completely to make my vision come true and she surpassed my expectations! Not only did my wedding look incredible but now I have forever flowers to admire and remind me of the most perfect day. My guests could not believe these flowers were made of wood! -

The Most Beautiful Flowers You Get to Keep Forever
We got married on 7/15/22, and we had the best florist ever!! I first saw Jen’s work tagged in an Instagram post from my venue, Stonehurst. I thought, “No way are those flowers not real.” Then I did some more searching through Wood and Word Bloom’s page and website. Jen’s work is so beautiful that I had to have her do the florals for my wedding. At first, I thought I would just do wood flowers for my bouquet and my bridesmaids’. But when I compared pricing, Jen’s designs gave me more for what I wanted to spend, and I knew that they would last forever. I was able to give away my centerpieces to guests as a keepsake from the wedding.
And, most importantly, Jen is one of the kindest and patient people I have ever met. She met with me virtually to explain all of my choices and to go over style and design. I showed her a few inspo pictures and what she created fit my vision perfectly. Once you decide on your style, you get to choose your colors. This is done by going to a hardware store and choosing paint chips that Jen will use to paint your flowers. I sent multiple emails with colors and changes, and she responded so quickly with so much wisdom and patience. It felt so clear that she is an expert at what she does. She was also so flexible when I had to delete and add items to my order.
I could not be happier with the way the florals turned out for my wedding. Jen is definitely someone you want to work with for one of your most special days. Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers!

We searched around for a while— so let me save you the energy and tell you that if you are searching for a florist, contact Jennifer with Wood and Word Blooms. You will not be disappointed, I promise!
Jennifer made creating & getting our bouquets/florals one of the most exciting parts of our wedding! She specializes in creating bouquets using sola wood and other faux greens—meaning, I get to keep my bouquet forever and you will too!
The amount of compliments and comments I received on my bouquet was unreal. My guests and vendors could not fathom that my bouquet wasn’t made with “real” flowers. Our vision was to create florals with a “wildflower feel”. We wanted mostly greens with textured blue flowers mixed in & Jennifer took my words and created the exact vision I had in my head. Honestly, our florals were even better than I could have envisioned—there was not one thing I would have wanted to change! She even gave us some extra florals that I used to create a matching flower collar for our flower dog!
Aside from creating the gorgeous & most perfect florals, Jennifer was a delight to work with. She took the time to ask all of the right questions, understand what we were looking for, and truly focus on the big and little details to what we wanted. Her dedication to client satisfaction shows in each of the pieces she created!

I absolutely loved my bouquet! The colors came out perfectly and Jen was a delight to work with. We started talking in 2019, postponed due to covid, and she never missed a beat, and never got mad at me for taking a lifetime to choose the colors! I have them displayed in my house and I know some of my bridesmaids do as well.
Everyone loved that their flowers were forever and wouldn’t wilt, even the guys were excited to keep their boutonnières!

I cannot say enough positive things about Jen and Wood & Word Blooms! I first found her website through The Knot and I was blown away by the beautiful pictures she shared. I had never heard of wood flowers before and she provided so much helpful information on them and how the process works. When I reached out I had many questions and had no idea where to start. Jen was so thoughtful and kind and worked with me to understand what I dreamed of for our wedding. When I had questions she was always quick to respond and shared many photos and inspirations throughout the planning process. Our large wedding was delayed due to Covid and Jen worked with us to make sure we had what we needed and she was so understanding. When I first got engaged I knew right off that bat that I was interested in wood flowers. It was something unique, went with our rustic theme, and I wanted to be able to keep my flowers for a lifetime. I got exactly that and more with Jen at Wood & Word Blooms. I happened to stumble upon her instagram and then I realized she as going to be at a wedding expo I was attending and was so thrilled to see her flowers in person. (They did not disappoint, of course) This was the first vendor I booked for our big day with over year in advance &b working with Jen was smooth the entire process. Over that time she stayed in contact with me creating all my flowers with everything I could've ever asked for me. She never gave me a hard time when I wanted to change something, or took my time. And when I wasn't sure what would look best, I had no problem putting my trust in her hands and letting her help! She is the sweetest person and great at her craft. I would recommend Jen for any of your flower needs. Not only was this a fun experience but also affordable for our budget. If you're on the fence about real flowers or wood flowers, I'd choose these a million times over. Jen even let us know that we could use a drop of our favorite essential oil in our flowers and I did just that after our wedding. I'm so happy to have an amazing keepsake along with my husband's boutonniere and that my bridal party can keep theirs as well. They make great decorations for your house afterwards! -

I'm from CT and got married in VT; planning a wedding out of state during a global pandemic is stressful. Ugh- i just love jen!
We met her at a bridal show in MA in 2019 (you know, back when large gatherings were a thing and masks weren’t...)
I fell in love with her florals & personality! Jen is punctual, professional & downright crafty! Her florals look so realistic!
She was great during the pandemic. We changed our order a few times & Jen was completely accommodating. When I felt like the bouts I bought were slightly too large, Jen worked with me to fix them. When I needed a last minute add on- she made sure it arrived right away. She even helped me with some DIY tips so we could save money!
My florals photographed beautifully & I love that they will last forever.
Hands down recommend Jen & her skills. I can’t wait to take one of her craft classes at the wineries in the near future! -

She offers the ability to do a DIY bouquet party which is so unique to be able to say you made your bouquet! Unfortunately due to COVID my DIY party had to get cancelled but Jen was incredibly understanding and fit my order in to make it all herself; a bride bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 7 boutonnières, 2 corsages, and a hair piece!!
Working with her was so simple; I had a vision and she totally exceeded my expectations. She asks questions to truly grasp what you’re looking for and she provided a picture pdf list of flowers to choose from. She was so patient with me as I asked for help from her to pick flowers that would look good together.
Jen made me feel confident in my choices and made sure that my bouquets were special; she even took the time to insert charms I provided her!
I realized towards the end of wedding planning that because I was working with Jen, the flowers were one area I did not need to remotely stress about. I saw Jen’s work on her Instagram and knew she would create something extraordinary. Now my bridal party and I all have forever flowers!
Finally, if you have any hesitation I highly suggest going to one of her classes! Before I booked Jen, I wanted to see what it would be like to work with her and knew immediately I could trust her through her professionalism, kindness, and humor! She holds awesome classes such as wreath making! Contact her sooner than later because she books up quick for a reason! -

Jennifer did an amazing job with my flowers! So much had changed planning wise for our wedding but I’m so thankful that even amidst all the craziness I’ve got the flowers I dreamed of (Plus I now get to use them twice!). ❤️

Wedding flowers
I was leaning towards wood flowers for our wedding when I stumbled upon wood and word blooms at a bridal show. I won a free prize package and after being able to completely customize it to what I wanted, I fell in love. When I picked it up and realized how real the flowers looked I knew I had to do my whole bridal party with these wood flowers. They came out perfect and Jen was very easy to work with. Pricing was good and my bridal party was excited to be able to keep their bouquets at the end of the night. Very highly recommend wood and word blooms! -

Amazing and beautiful
One of the best choices I made for our wedding was to have Jennifer take care of our flowers. We received lots of compliment on them and for a destination wedding, it was the best choice! I was so excited to do something so unique with my flowers for my wedding! There is so much more freedom and individuality with these flowers because you choose colors from paint swatches! I met Jen at a bridal show last year when I was looking for an alternative to real floral and I loved her work. My bouquet was one of my favorite things from our Disney wedding, the colors are so beautiful and the hidden Mickey with our song lyrics is magical. I'm so happy I (and our mom's) get to enjoy these beautiful creations for years to come. I've gotten so many compliments, people are amazed they are wood. Amazing work!!
We were so so happy with the flowers Jen did for our winter wedding. Everything was super easy, she arranged to meet with us and showed us samples and we able to custom design all our bouquets, boutineers, and corsages. Prices were affordable and the flowers were absolutely beautiful, and I'm so glad I will be able to keep them for ever. I met Jen at a wedding expo and I instantly felt comfortable with her. She was super friendly and I loved being able to support someone local. As for my flowers, Jen did an absolutely beautiful job. I have so many people still telling me how beautiful my flowers were (and are) and that they couldn’t believe they were not real flowers. I knew I wanted to have sola wood flowers for my wedding. I didn’t want to shell out a bunch of money for real flowers, just to have them die and only have photos of them. With the sola wood flowers, I now have my beautiful bouquet as my dining room centerpiece. As for cost, I had one friend who couldn’t believe the amount of flowers I got for the price. She paid more than me for her wedding and had less flowers that didn’t last.
Some great things about Jen
• She has a very detailed contract which made me feel more at ease.
• She is super fast with responding to emails.
• She’s got a great eye for beautiful color and floral combinations.
• She’s local (to me at least), but I think she can also ship.
• Once she starts your floral order, she will send you pictures of the progress which is great. For me, the flowers were looking brighter than I had expected. I let her know and within a day she was able to darken the color.
• She can have your flowers ready before your wedding date. I was able to get my flowers a month before my wedding, so I could take it off my to do list the week of the wedding.
I had such a great experience with Jen, I have even attended a wreath craft event she held at a brewery. I have referred many people to her including multiple brides. One of my friends mentioned wanting to reach out to have Jen recreate her wedding bouquet (since she didn’t know about sola flowers and ended up with real flowers for her wedding).
*Definitely consider the slap bracelets for the corsages!!! I'm so happy I went with her suggestion. It fit all the ladies wrists perfectly and comfortably, while looking elegant. -

My favorite thing from the wedding!
Wood & Word provided our flowers and boutonnières for our Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. Her art was by far one of the most favorite parts of my entire day! Her intricate details, thoughtful touches and overall creativity blew me away. She was easy to communicate with, very thorough and so much more affordable than "normal," wedding flowers. Plus now we have these beautiful memorabilia in our home to remember our special day forever. I cannot praise Wood & Word Blooms enough! -

So Jillian has provided flowers for several of my shoots and each time I'm absolutely stunned by the results. Trust me when I say this but NO ONE will think EVEN FOR A SECOND that these are fake flowers. Even if someone was inches away they would still think they are real. The only way you can tell is if you touch them. Plus these flowers will last forever! So you won't have to jump through crazy hoops to maintain them. I love burning candles, and these have been a great alternative to adding a scent to a room since they can be coated as well. I highly recommend Wood & Word Blooms to anyone considering flowers for their wedding. -

Wood flowers were definitely the way to go. They were done in advance, so no stressing the day of. They were dyed to match our colors perfectly. Book page flowers from our favorite novel were a great personal touch. Guests took home some of centerpieces for their own home and we were able to sell the rest later! My daughter and my bouquets are now part of home decor too! -

Jen was very easy to work with, especially considering how often the scope of the project changed due to the pandemic. Also, for not having a clear vision myself of what I wanted, the final product worked out wonderfully. I think that has a lot to do with Jen’s artistic ability and expertise. Overall, we received so many compliments on our arrangements, and as a bonus we will be able to use them again during our larger reception (whenever that may be). Thanks so much Jen!
