Julia saved the day when we were looking for a wedding planner to help us plan the wedding of our dreams. She was incredibly accommodating, kind, and communicative. She was available and always responsive. She is someone you can depend on and is super organized, you definitely feel as though you are in good hands. We could not have done it without her. -

Julia is the type-A personality you need for your wedding! She knows her stuff, has a tons of connections, and is a perfectionist. If you want to keep your bride happy you'll want Julia to be on your team, she makes planning easy and is very responsive to emails. The day of the wedding she is the one you want going to war for you, as it is a constant battle of coordination, moving the bridal party from one location to another, ensuring that the ceremony goes off without a hitch, making sure every detail at the reception is dialed in, and lastly that everyone who had a good time gets home. We were able to enjoy our day without any worries.
If you're going to plan an event, you quite literally should plan with Julia.

Julia was our day-of coordinator and she is someone you can rely on and know that she and her team will have your back. We got married on 11/22/22 (yes, a Tuesday) and we had an American Chinese wedding with 100 guests. There are a lot of wins from our wedding that we know couldn’t have happened without Julia and her team.
1. Perfect set up and break down: For our wedding, we had a lot of detailed DIY set ups and fragile arrangements which Julia and her team were able to oversee, set up, and break down for us which was incredibly important to us – we didn’t break or lose one of our items, and finished all within our allotted hour time frame. From DIY centerpiece florals, to DIY acrylic everything – to our own slideshow and long bar set ups – it was exactly to our vision.
2. Above and beyond with our fur-children: You can count on Julia to also take on all sorts of requests for your big day. We had our 5 dogs in the ceremony which was a critical part for us and her team was able to make that happen despite the extra logistical lifts and practice.
3. Timing: the dress rehearsal Julia led was incredibly helpful to the wedding party and officiant that it set us up for success that on the actual wedding, we started ON TIME and had buffer time for any set backs or emergencies. She was also great at guiding our guests in a swift manner to the ceremony and then the reception room despite the open bar
4. Fun: Although we hired Julia and her team for only the day-of, we felt like when they were with our families, wedding party, and guests, that they were part of our group – they were friendly, social, polite, and incredibly professional.
We needed Julia and her team on the day of our wedding, we just didn’t realize and appreciate it even more so until the day-of. Thank you Julia and Kim for everything in prep and on the day of our special day. We’re grateful to have you had on our side to make the wedding of our dreams come to life.

Julia went above and beyond for our wedding. She is incredibly professional, attentive, organized and truly helped bring our vision to life! I immediately felt I could trust her and she did so much more for me than I realized I needed. She was there to make sure we were on track, but always made the time to check in and make sure I was feeling supported and heard throughout the process. She helped me find amazing vendors through her network and everyone I know who worked with or interacted with her day of raved about her and her team. I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for Julia and feel so lucky to have gotten a chance to work with her! -

Julia was an outstanding planner for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding! Organized, thoughtful, creative, and highly responsive. After being part of numerous weddings over the years, I have to say this was undoubtably the best, most beautiful day and evening event we’ve ever attended (June 11, 2022). No glitches, just flawless execution.
The chapel and the venue she helped choose were gorgeous. We’ll always remember the 200 or so guests dancing under the moonlight on this special night. A joyful event!

We have nothing but incredible things to say about working with Julia Truong for our 2022 summer wedding. From the very beginning, Julia emphasized people and relationships guided her passion for planning. She lived up to those words, and more.
We approached Julia the winter of 2021, recently after our engagement. Our initial call was so informative - she helped us understand what we wanted in a wedding, when we could potentially have it , and a general overview of what her services entail. At the end of the meeting, we already trusted Julia’s immense knowledge and expertise, and made her our full time planner and coordinator.
Every week, Julia met us with a high level of professionalism and urgency to keep our dream wedding on the right track. She easily navigated difficult conversations about budget, timeline, expenses, etc. Ultimately, she was able to keep us calm amidst some of the most stressful initial decisions like venue, date, and guest list.
Our wedding of 220 people at Wayfarers Chapel and The South Coast Botanic Garden was a dream because of Julia. As the bride, I never once worried that things would go astray because Julia was always three steps ahead, meticulously planning every detail.
Some of Julia’s key offerings:
- Point of contact for all vendors in the planning process and on the day of the wedding (project management)
- Vendor negotiation
- Presented high quality vendors and allowed us to pick and choose who we wanted to work with
- Weekly, highly efficient meetings to keep her clients on track
She was even able to handle a last minute vendor cancellation, and found another incredible vendor to honor our old contract.
Julia is kind, patient, and a stand-out talent in her field. We 1000% recommend her for any of your upcoming wedding needs!

Our wedding was on October 30th, 2021 and had around 75 guests. Julia was there from start to finish (she helped plan the engagement too!), and we could not have wished for anyone better to get the job done!
From the very beginning, Julia was extremely communicative and easy going. We would talk about wedding details over Zoom and meet up at Ikea to go wedding decor shopping. Whenever we had questions, she answered right away and this was on top of working a full time job and taking care of her cute doggo (hi Augie!).
She's like a seasoned professional despite just starting her business. She knows what needs to be done and exactly when to do it. She told us she would handle the tough conversations with venue pricing, inquiring, negotiation, and landed us our dreeeaaam venue. Like, guys, what more can you ask for??
Did I mention that she was part of our wedding party? On the day of our wedding, she was both bridesmaid and coordinator. That being said, our day went as smooth as could be. Every scheduled event was perfectly on time and both me and my wife didn't have to worry about a thing. You can tell she cares deeply for her clients/friends and she will go above and beyond to make your special day a day you will remember for the rest of your life.
At the end of it all, we are more than happy with how our day turned out, with the whole experience, and loved celebrating with Julia at our wedding. FYI - She was doing this solo and did such a great job. Now that she has a team behind her, I'm pretty sure they can pull off just about anything! -
