Best Day Of Coordinator - Grace Under Pressure
Krista was an AMAZING day of coordinator for our wedding on October 5th at the Washington Athletic Club! Throughout wedding planning, she was communicative and helped us think through each detail for the wedding. She orchestrated our rehearsal flawlessly and helped ease each person's anxiety. This included our officiant, a friend who was officiating a wedding for the first time. She answered all our questions and is the definition of "grace under pressure". Everything ran on time and as planned the day of because of her. She worked with all of our vendors very well and everything came together beautifully. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Krista to any engaged couple looking for some peace of mind on your wedding day! -

We hired Krista to be our Day-of-Wedding Coordinator. I didn't think we needed one, but we're so happy that we did! Krista helped the day run smoothly and she made us feel at ease. Her personality is super fun too and her energy was great. She was definitely worth it! Thanks, Krista!! -

The world's greatest wedding planner
Krista doesn't need yet another amazing review online but singing her praises is really the least I can do. I hired her for planning and day of coordination and she was worth every.single.penny...and then some. Just the amount of time I saved searching for the perfect florals, venue, desserts, DJ, officiant, etc. was worth it but she also knows where to get the best prices. She is the master at figuring out what the bride is asking for, what the bride really wants, and where there is overlap and where maybe there isn't. A rare skill and invaluable skill.
I have a very complicated family with a lot of opportunities for awkward moments, general unpleasantness, or a scene. She was sensitive to that and deescalated every potentially troubling situation with perfect tact. I can't recommend Krista enough. -

I planned our entire wedding, but early on in the planning process, I knew I was going to need someone to help on the day of. We worked with Kat to be our Day of Coordinator and she was wonderful! From the very first meeting we had, she gave me so much helpful advice and tips to make sure our wedding day was flawless - she is truly an expert. She is very responsive, detail oriented, and put together a detailed timeline to keep all our vendors on track throughout the day. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Kat! It was so nice not to have to worry about anything that day. By far some of the best money spent on our wedding! -

Kat is seriously phenomenal. I appreciated our meetings prior to the wedding, she always came so prepared and had great questions that I hadn't even thought of. Our venue was our family private property in remote Western Washington. She traveled there, with her husband and assistant, for our walk through a couple weeks out and they also were available for the rehearsal night. Though I know this was outside her contract, when my rentals were arriving much later than they had stated and my wedding party and I had to get to the rehearsal dinner, Chester and Kat were willing to stay late and wait for them to arrive, literally saving a family member from having to miss the dinner. So she is so much more than a day of coordinator, which is what I thought I was getting, I didn't even realize in how many ways I would need her help outside of just the day of. Now, for the day of, I can not speak highly enough of what a fantastic job the two of them did, all while smiling and making sure my new husband and I had drinks of choice in hand! From the beginning of the day when they arrived, they got right to work setting up the entire venue, literally everything. They did not bother me ONCE with a question about how something should be placed or where something was. That was one of my big fears of having the wedding at our own property is that I wouldn't be able to relax and enjoy the day, but with Kat in charge, I was 110% able to do just that. There were so many logistics involved with our wedding, shuttles, different locations for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but they handled it all flawlessly and also worked really well with my in-laws who owned the property. I truly can not speak enough to the amazing job Kat did, I would recommend them to anyone! -

I made the best decision for my wedding to hire Krista as my wedding planner. She answered your questions right away. She was very helpful and organized my wedding ceremony and reception timeline in order also get in touch and working with other vendors.
I explained to her what I wanted everything set up in certain way and she delivered.
Everything was just perfect. Some of my guests asked me how come I was very calm on my wedding day? (They thought I was gonna be like a Bridezilla lol ).
My answer was cause I had the best wedding planner to help me. Thank you again Krista for your assistance and making my wedding unforgettable. Yes, you are the best!!! -

Krista was an amazing coordinator! I got married in March in Tacoma and our wedding was around 180 people. I came to the realization that I needed someone to run things the day of and there is not an ounce of me that regrets spending the money - I was totally able to enjoy my day stress free. Krista was organized and thoughtful, and had relationships with many of my other vendors (she was in fact recommended to me by my photographer.) She took care of the all of the small details, including multiple things I didn't think of. I cannot express how glad I was to have Krista there on my wedding day. My number one piece of advice is to have someone the day of and for the rehearsal at minimum. Her calm presence and organization allowed my husband and I to completely focus on each other and family - I had bridesmaids and family comment on how great she was. She seemed to be everywhere at once and made sure our wedding ran perfectly. Krista was very reasonably priced and I highly recommend her! Having her coordinate the day was one of our best wedding decisions. -

Krista was great! My husband and I were planning a wedding out of state, so we knew that a planner was going to be key in helping us stay organized and also get a variety of options in terms of vendors. Krista was personable, knew a ton of great potential vendors, and kept me up to date as the wedding date got closer. Our timeline for the actual wedding day was FLAWLESS and everything went exactly as planned. Krista was also able to reach out and negotiate with vendors when I either wasn't able to or wasn't comfortable doing so. My husband and I truly had an amazing wedding and Krista made sure that we could fully enjoy our day/night. I would highly recommend her! -

Being in weddings prior to our own, we knew that we wanted to hire a wedding coordinator. We had a pretty solid idea of our special day but hired Krista from Wishes to help keep us on track during the planning process, execute all of decoration details, and coordinate the day of. It was hands down, the best decision we made concerning our wedding.
Krista is extremely valuable. And for her level of experience and dedication, a wedding coordination package with her is very reasonably priced. As a couple who wanted everything to be personalized, Krista was a major help when we wrote our own ceremony and vows. She was also generous enough to allow us to use some of the decoration hardware she has collected over her years of coordinating. She was very detail-oriented. Even though we had planned everything down to the smallest detail, there were some things that Krista brought up that we hadn't thought about. Communication with her was reliable, quick and easy. We always felt supported, even during the crazy wedding season.
Knowing that Krista was there was very comforting and allowed us to enjoy the wedding. Even though there were some hitches on the wedding day (such as realizing that I left my veil in the hotel room 5-minutes prior to the ceremony), Krista handled it flawlessly. And we can truly say that we were able to enjoy it to the fullest with worrying about the behind the scene things. We cannot sing her praises more highly. Hire Krista! -

Krista is such a professional wedding day coordinator. After we finalized our vendor list, she took over the job of coordination, designed a detailed timeline for us, and contacted every vendor, making sure they arrive at the venue on time and get all equipment they need. Even though our wedding is small (less than 60 people), there were still many things which can go wrong in our eyes. Krista scheduled a few pre-wedding meeting with us, we went over the timeline and every detail several times. She also had back-up plans for the ceremony in case it rains. We're very thankful that we had Krista on our wedding day. She made the whole day stress-free for us and everything just couldn't be better! She also knows a lot of fantastic vendors, you can just tell how happy they're when they work together. I would recommend her to any marrying couple! You can't go wrong with Krista! -

I hired Krista as a level 1, day of wedding coordinator for my wedding in August 2016. Krista was amazing to work with and is incredibly talented! Krista made sure every detail was taken care of on my wedding day, helped coordinate vendor deliveries, set up, and made sure everything was on track with our schedule for the day. Thanks to Krista’s help, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we were able to enjoy the day and trust that Krista had everything planned! The day ran smoothly, we had zero issues, all vendors were on time and prepared, and the wedding looked amazing! I highly recommend hiring Krista as a wedding planner for your wedding!

I recently got married at Willows Lodge on 01.02.2016 - Krista was amazing through the entire process. I felt that I got more than I paid for with her services - unlike other coordinators Krista was open with communication and never made me feel like I couldn't email her with a question. I had researched and spoken with other coordinators who charged for email services and were outrageous with pricing. From the moment I met her I felt more relaxed about my wedding planning. She met me at Starbucks for a no charge consultation, when we both decided it was a good fit I did not waste any time booking her. Even though she was my "day of coordinator" I truly felt like I had a full time planner. She saved the day when the person who was responsible for my seating chart called out sick before finishing the calligraphy. I called Krista and she had a calligrapher for me in a matter of minutes. The day of my wedding was very smooth and Krista was there telling me where to go and made sure the wedding I had worked so hard on was perfect. And it was! Thank you so much Krista!! -

Krista was incredible to work with and truly helped make our wedding day run seamlessly! We hired her to help with day-of coordination and she truly went above and beyond to help us. She was incredibly organized and efficient, continually checked in with us at regular intervals throughout the year to make sure we remained on track with our planning, and offered a number of great suggestions (e.g. alternative for a traditional wedding guest book) to help us personalize our big day. Krista was worth every penny, and allowed me to actually enjoy the day of my reception, as every bride should! We had a destination elopement about 6 weeks before our reception back home, so I had originally thought I could just handle all the day-of stuff myself since I wasn't actually getting married that day, just hosting a party. I am so glad I changed my mind and decided to hire Krista. Instead of running around town picking up cupcakes, flowers, etc., I got to spend some quiet time with my husband, and then get ready with my mom and best friends, knowing everything was being taken care of. I showed up to find the venue beautifully decked out, just as I wanted, and all the more beautiful because I didn't have to lift a finger! Krista's value was even more pronounced at the end of the night, when my husband and I got to make our exit and not have to worry about picking up trash, cleaning the venue, etc., which would certainly put a damper on the amazing time we had. I can't thank Krista enough for her excellent attention to detail and calm demeanor, which made me confident I could trust her with my wedding reception. My trust was not misplaced. I highly recommend her for any other bride, even those who think they can do it all (reality check: you can't). -

My husband and I got married on few weeks ago at Lord Hill Farms in Snohomish, WA. We were lucky enough to have had Krista for our day-of wedding coordinator. She was absolutely FANTASTIC! We were on the fence about getting a DOC, but we are so very glad we did. I would definitely recommend (at least) a DOC for your wedding - especially Krista. She was very organized and super helpful without being uptight and stressed. I really liked that about her because I for sure was stressed at times :) We met with Krista 3 times in prep for wedding day and she was always super quick to respond to my emails. She helped us stay on track and offered vendor recommendations where we needed them. She even picked up our linen rentals on the morning of and returned them. Krista also took a lot of the decor off our hands during the rehearsal and brought it all on wedding day. Krista and her husband did an amazing job with the set up. I didn't stress a thing. Our wedding day weather was not exactly what we had in mind for August, but Krista did a great job adapting to the changes and making it seamless. She checked in with the throughout the day and we knew we could count in her to keep things flowing. We had a change-up with the guest tables that she took care of perfectly :) Very please and I would highly recommend Krista to anyone!!! -

Krista was great! My husband and I loved our wedding day! We hired Krista for day of wedding coordination and she did a fabulous job. She ensured that everything ran smoothly and as planned. My friends, family and I could relax when we got to the wedding venue and didn't have to worry about setting things up or coordinating with all the vendors that day. Being in the wedding industry for many years we've worked with tons of Coordinators and planners. Krista is kind, professional and made us feel organized, in the loop and appreciated. She always let us know the "plan," kept in touch prior to the wedding, had a big smile on her face the entire day and makes the day incredibly enjoyable, well thought out and put together. We had the pleasure of working with Krista as our wedding coordinator. We couldn't have worked with a more professional, calm and helpful wedding coordinator. From her prompt responses to my emails and random questions, to providing advice and suggestions, she truly helped make our wedding day perfect. Her husband even stepped up and decorated our wedding cake for us, as we forgot too! She was on top of everything and every last detail.
We received so many compliments from our guests, vendors and wedding party about Krista. People couldn't say enough about how happy they were to work with and be around someone so calm and professional. And my husband and I agree.
Krista was truly the best wedding coordinator I could have ever hoped for and she helped make our wedding day truly magical.

Krista was great to work with leading up to our wedding. She is organized and keeps you on track. For our wedding, she worked with her husband, which helped immensely as he was able to set up our reception during our ceremony. He also went out of his way to pick up our dessert and bring it to the reception. Basically, Krista was able to help us problem solve on all the little things that become important as the big day approaches. She has great ideas and lots of contacts for local vendors. She takes the stress off of the bride/groom and their families on the wedding day by setting every thing up, keeping to a schedule and coordinating with the other vendors. If you want things to run smoothly, it is essentially a guarantee if you listen to Krista! -

We had previously been involved in helping our friends and families on their wedding day set-up, and it wasn't enjoyable for us. Krista's rates are very reasonable (especially comparing to her competitors), she was very easy to talk to, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and we immediately felt at ease that all of our hopes for our special day would be taken care of. She also offered great ideas and had great vendor resources! Krista and her team outlined the day's activities and followed-thru with every detail. All details, great or small, were handled seamlessly. About 1 week before our wedding we turned everything over to Krista and she took it from there. We didn't have any last minute tasks to do, hiccups to deal with, or anything. We were able to slide into our wedding day with much relaxation anyone could ask for. I often have said that "this was the best decision we've made, money well spent!"! I would strongly recommended Krista at Wishes! for your wedding coordination!! -

Julie was my wedding coordinator for my August 31st 2014 wedding. She was AMAZING to work with and I would recommend her to anyone! She went above and beyond her responsibilities as my wedding coordinator and helped me through so many obstacles regarding planning, working with vendors, and staying within my price range. We clicked right away and I trusted her advice to ensure that my wedding was just the way I wanted it. Julie was available to communicate whenever I needed her. Whether I needed a second opinion on décor, advice on dealing with difficult vendors, or wedding etiquette-- Julie remained professional and provided multiple options while planning. The best money I spent on my wedding! Krista was an absolute godsend for my husband and I while we were planning a wedding from the opposite side of the world! She communicated frequently and provided exactly what we wanted when we wanted it (lists of vendors to choose from, feedback, bouncing our ideas around with the vendors, etc.). Krista not only made the wedding planning process easy and stress-free, but her coordination the day-of ensured our 12 hour event was flawless and enjoyed by everybody. And she did it while she was in the middle of a big move herself! She is professional, dedicated, detailed, and passionate about making weddings perfect from start to finish. My coordinator Julie was perfect. She met with me multiple times before my wedding to discuss details, and she was in constant e-mail contact. She created my wedding timeline and was in contact with all my vendors in the weeks beforehand and day of so I had nothing to worry about and could just enjoy my experience! Also, her price was beyond reasonable and I definitely got more than my money's worth! She genuinely cared about my day going perfectly. I would highly recommend this company and especially Julie to anyone! -

Kiera was our wedding coordinator. She kept in touch with us from the time we signed the contract to our wedding day. She was experienced and full of great ideas. I appreciate how patient, kind, calm and focused she was on days leading up to the wedding when my mind was going in a million directions and of course on the day of! She did a fantastic job -- she was the first one at the venue and the last one to leave, picked up our flowers, setup the tables, coordinated with our vendors, etc. I definitely recommend !Wishes Wedding Coordination and Kiera. Wishes! is so awesome!!!! I decided to go with the "Day Of Coordination" and I worked with Julie Huezo. She's super sweet, professional and very personable. You never know what to expect when starting a new business relationship. Well, within the first 15 minutes of our phone call, Julie and I were like old friends. My situation was unique because I planned a destination wedding off the puget sound but my hubby(fiance at the time) actually lived in Dallas, Texas. I had tons of ideas and Julie helped me sort through them(welcome bag ideas, smore's bar, etc., helped bring them to life and she kept me focused. There were times where I felt overwhelmed, but Julie kept me calm which is the greatest gift you could ever give a bride! The day of the wedding was perfect, I had absoluetly NO WORRY from start to finish. She even brought food and beverages to me in between photos - Love her! Hiring Julie was one of the best wedding decisions I could have made (The hubby is the best choice, of course:))I would not change one thing. We obtained the services of Julie at Wishes to help us with my daughters reception coordination. My daughter, Liz and I were very hands on in the entire process and did many DIY items for the event. Once we had booked our venue, I quickly realized we needed help to decorate and set up the reception. The venue only allowed us two hours prior to set up, which was exactly when the wedding was supposed to start at the church. I was looking for someone to supervise, set up, and oversee the arriving vendors at the reception. Julie and her assistant whipped the venue into shape within a couple hours, set up everything like we had visioned, and did a fantastic job! During my daughters year long engagement, Julie was always available via email or phone to give advice or recommend vendors. I wanted this extended guidance since this was the first wedding I had ever planned. Julie was awesome! Unlike the many other coordinators we had interviewed, she was always available and didn't limit her time with us. She was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and very fun! Julie alleviated the stress for myself and my daughter at the wedding. I would highly recommend her to all the other brides and moms, as this was money well spent. Thank you Julie and team! -

My husband and I were recently wed at the Edgewater Hotel and used Krista Herman as our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing. I met with several coordinators before picking Krista and she was the only one that would allow me to work with her all during the year, not just 5-6 weeks prior to the wedding. She also did this at a very reasonable rate. I hired her to coordinate the actual wedding day and she was able to provide me all the vendors she had used in past weddings for flowers, cakes, photography, etc. Every vendor that I hired I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone for any occasion. My relatives and friends are still commenting on how personable the photographer was, how beautiful the flowers turned out and how great the cupcakes tasted. This was all due to Krista's remarkable expertise and experience. After the wedding, I asked my husband what he thought of the wedding and he responded "it was flawless". Due to Krista's help, support and incredible knowledge, my wedding turned out exactly as I had hoped for and I will always be grateful to her for our wonderful memories. -

We hired Krista for day-of coordination for our wedding in August, and we are soo happy that we made that decision. When we arrived at the ceremony & reception site, everything was already set-up and the site looked beautiful!! From the moment we met Krista, we knew she was going to be our day of wedding planner! Her warmth and depth of personality sold us instantly, but more importantly her organization, follow through and determination to make our day's dream come true is what she delivered. Krista and Eric met with us as much as we needed, and every time she helped us answer questions and remember the details. We brainstormed solutions together and Krista would follow through with answers to any questions.
The week before our wedding we met again to finalize plans and wrap up details. It was amazing to pass off everything we collected for the day and know it would be in its place and perfect the day of, and it was! I am a teacher, my husband in finance, and between the two of us we like to be in control. However, for our wedding, we wanted so much to let go and just be there with our friends and family and that is exactly what we were able to do! Wishes! pulled it all together and not one thing marred our day, however, I'm sure if something had gone wrong Krista would have been there. Who knows something may have, but I have know idea about it!!

From the beginning, I knew hiring a day-of coordinator was necessary in order to be able to enjoy my own wedding day. When I found Krista, it was obvious that she and her crew were the best choice for the job. She worked with our budget, which was super helpful for us. She addressed everything that we needed to plan for, even things that a super organized person like me hadn't even thought of. She was always available to answer questions and address concerns, as well as give helpful hints and tips and other ideas for planning, decoration, etc. Then come the big day, Krista and her staff made everything come together so very seamlessly, taking care of special deliveries, two separate wedding day sites, and making sure everything was set up as I had pictured it in my mind for the past year. I hired Wishes! and Krista to be my day of coordinator for my reception. Krista, Eric and her team did a phenomenol job! Krista is very thorough in her planning and addressed every detail . I experienced quite a few issues with my decorator and Krista managed to keep me calm and take care of them and all baggage that came with them the day of. I honestly can't say enough good things about our day-of coordinator, Julie, from Wishes. We had a largely DIY wedding and when we hit 4 weeks away, I had a minor meltdown and decided we needed a day-of coordinator. Wishes was one company I emailed and Julie was available to meet with me within a couple days. She was professional, personable, and clearly knew what she was doing. On the day of the wedding, the outdoor ceremony got moved into the reception space because of rain. Her and her team gracefully set up the room around the wedding party (we were all wandering around the venue for most of the afternoon because of the rain), and were happy to listen when I hadn't communicated my vision on some particular element very well. Julie stayed on top of time and order of events telling us where to be and what to do (and was flexible when our cake was starting to lean and needed to be cut earlier than scheduled), and more importantly made sure our drinks never got too low all night :-) Again, they cleaned up around the wedding party trying to finish off the keg in the middle of the room (I guess we stand around a lot?), and we got our full venue deposit back, which I had initially been worried about because of the clean-up required for it. It was a small luxury to be able to show up, follow her directions, and leave at the end of the night without a care in the world. I owe a lot of my good memories from the wedding to Wishes and the fact that I could focus on the event and didn't have to think about any logistics. Absolutely the best money spent on the wedding. Wishes! did a wonderful job in coordinating our wedding. Krista and her entire team were a pleasure to work with and very flexible considering mine and my husband's crazy schedules. We are both in the military and Krista helped us plan the best wedding while we were both deployed and living overseas. We only had two face to face meetings with Krista before the big day and the rest of the coordinating was conducted via email and phone calls. Given our circumstances, there is no way we could have had such a beautiful day had it not been for her and her team. They work hard and get things done. We wanted to let you know what an Amazing job you and your entire staff at Wishes did at our April 28th wedding and reception! Thank you! You, Eric and Julie really know your stuff!
Our wedding ceremony was amazing and flawless! All of you did an awesome job working with our officiate to orchestrate an absolutely beautiful and meaningful ceremony at our favorite place on the Kirkland waterfront. Plus, our little "pre-reception" afterwards with the espresso cart we hired, that was fun! Our Reception at the hotel came off without a hitch. Everyone worked seamlessly like an incredible symphony. I could see all of you orchestrating the different parts from different corners of the room. We had so many of our guests come up to us during and after the ceremony to let us know that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We agree! All of those thousands and thousands of little details paid off from the choices we made in vendors like your company, our officiate, the espresso cart, the venues, our magician at the reception, the band, our photographer and videographer, flowers, the cake, decor, photo prop booth, etc, to all the other many many many little details. It was all worth it!
Krista, because of your team, we were able to enjoy our entire wedding day, and relax! We took it all in and stayed "in the moment". We enjoyed every second of it. We enjoyed all of our loved ones gathered around us. We ate at our reception. We even danced. We just had the best time, and felt like it was a fairy tale and dream come true!
This whole wedding planning thing has been very time consuming and stressful, and Rick and I were very thankful we hired your staff for our "day of" planning services. You guys really pulled it off! It was great on the "day of" for me to finally let go, and be able to trust you and our wedding officiate to handle all of the details from that point on. You have all been very easy to work with from day one, and you always provided me with unique and creative ideas to make our event stand out. There have been so many details in this planning process, and it was great having you on the other end as my sounding board, to email at any time, to meet up with several times at the different venues, plus our rehearsal. You are very organized and we really appreciated that. You are also easy going and flexible, which was helpful in reducing my stress during this major planning part of my life. It's funny, because one of the things I promised myself after my previous marriage, was that if I ever did it again, I would NEVER plan my wedding on my own ever again! I would spend the money and do it right and take off some of that stress. At my previous marriage, I was so stressed out, I never even had a second to eat anything or enjoy our wedding day. My mind felt like it was going a million miles an hour! So many people I talk with who planned their own weddings tell me the same story. Well this time, I did it right and hired you! It seems it's always harder to convince the fiancé that a wedding planner is the right choice. Probably because he isn't as involved as the bride and doesn't realize all the stress that she is going through. Plus, he wants to save the money. But after I got Rick involved in the details during the last month of planning, and boy did I keep him busy, he said to me that the only thing he would change was to have hired your company as a "full service" planner, not a "day of" planner! (His opinion sure changed after he got involved!) I agree! Even though I am a super organized and detailed person, there is a ton of planning for the wedding couple or family to do even with a "day of" planner. It's a crazy time of life, of being up late that last month to usually 3:00 a.m. every night! At least it was for me, and It became my full time job! Of course, I only had 3 1/2 months to plan this wedding so that contributed heavily to our schedule! 2 years would have been ideal. One thing I realized through this entire planning process was, the details are the same. Whether it is a small, medium or large wedding, it doesn't matter. You still go through all the same motions and details!

I cannot even begin to say how wonderful it was working with Krista as our wedding planner/coordinator. She was very in tuned with our visions and made sure to give us guidance and honest feedback every step of the way. She comforted me in every little, and big, freak out I had in the whole year and a half planning our wedding. I did not ever for one single second of the process regret hiring Krista. She has so much insight into the wedding world that I would have never known without her. And the amount of stress she took off myself, my now husband, and my mom was amazing, especially the day of. I was able to sit back and enjoy my day knowing that everything was in her capable hands and trusting that she would make everything how I would like it. Even the most minuscule details and concerns she dealt with, including sneaking in and fixing my bustle when it kept falling out. She was in tune with us and making sure we had the time of our lives from the first second of planning to the grand exit. Working with Krista became more like working with a close friend who could envision me and what I wanted on my special day than working with a vendor. I cannot imagine how we would have pulled off the day without her. I will recommend all of my friends and family to her for as long as she is in the business. -

My husband and I had a great experience with Wishes. Krista was our wedding coordinator throughout it all and Kiera was our day of coordinator. Everything ran very smoothly the day of our wedding despite the heavy rain pour which I was worried about. We loved all of our vendors that Krista recommended to us, and our wedding would definitely not have been the same without them.
Krista and Kiera thought of everything and were on top of every small detail so nothing fell through the cracks. Literally every guest that I've talked to since the wedding has told me it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to. It was great because I had a blast and could actually enjoy myself the day of and not be too stressed in the weeks leading up to the wedding day because of Krista and Kiera.
Krista really worked with us on budgeting and keeping track of all our expenses throughout the process so we could get the most out of our money. I would definitely recommend Wishes to help with the planning of your wedding day.

We used Krista's full wedding planning service and couldn't have been happier!!! She helped us so much plan our long distance wedding in Seattle (we're in San Diego). We only met with Krista once after we had selected the venue. Once I told her that we would only be able to be in Seattle for one weekend due to our jobs and she went to work and arranged for us to efficiently and effectively meet with different vendors. I repeat--efficiently. That is key for me and why I truly loved working with Krista. We wanted a modern, urban wedding and Krista definitely had a LOT of great ideas that meshed well together. During times when we would get worried, talking to her always calmed us down. We are scientists and wanted that theme to resonant throughout the wedding without being too overdone and Krista was able to help us accomplish this goal. All of our friends in the science field enjoyed hunting for the subtle hints all around. After 9 months of planning, she helped us get a great venue and the best vendors to work with. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of (which was another goal we wanted). Krista's excels of budgets and comparing/contrasting vendors is amazing!!! I have highly recommended her to my friends in San Diego even though they are not getting married in Seattle because that's how effective Krista is at wedding planning. She knows what she's doing and she does it well. -

Krista and Eric are fantastic all around! When you choose Wishes you get 2 coordinators for the price of one. Krista's husband Eric helps with everything, especially moving heavy stuff! They are a great husband and wife team. We used them for their day-of package which comes with several meetings. It was plenty of support for us. I felt like I had a coordinator through the whole planning process even though we only did the day-of package. She has fantastic recommendations for other vendors that she willingly shared with us. We used a very reasonably priced DJ recommended by Krista and were happy with him. I had my own vision and did lots of DIY projects and Krista made them all come together. She also replaced my florist two or three days before the wedding because mine had to be hospitalized unexpectedly! She also came to my house to pick up all of our wedding decor and beer, etc. so we wouldn't have to drop it off at the venue on the wedding day. And on the day of she and Eric took care of EVERYTHING. While my fiance and I were off with the photographer, Krista and Eric put together all of my ideas and followed all of my directions and directed all of the vendors. All we had to do was show up and walk down the aisle when she cued us. Eric videotaped the wedding for us, too, and made a beautiful edited video of the footage that we can put to music. What a bonus! My wedding was definitely non-traditional and I never felt uncomfortable or judged by Krista when presenting my ideas. She is very real, down-to-earth and yet also very professional. Her services are an amazing value! I cannot imagine pulling off a wedding without her. I cannot thank them enough!

Oh. My. Gosh. Krista was the sweetest, most wonderful woman I could have ever asked for to make me feel calm and together on my big day. Although I only hired her as my "day-of" coordinator, she went so far above and beyond the typical call of duty. I was planning my Seattle wedding long-distance from Chicago, so I had very limited time to meet up before the event. She worked with my time constraints with no complaints, driving extremely far each time so that it was more convenient for me. She always came prepared with a list of bases to cover (perfect because I always felt so scattered), questions to ask, and ideas to share. She handled all of the last-minute coordination with the vendor contracts. She gave me advice on some messy social dynamics that inevitably come up with weddings. She and her husband took my very loosey-goosey vision of DIY florals and decor on the wedding day, and figured out a way to get it all laid out and installed so my ceremony and reception looked Pinterest-worthy. The whole evening she ran around making sure that everyone was on-time and on-task, but she was not obnoxious or inflexible. She perfectly adjusted to the flow of the evening- the ideal guardian angel. I am so grateful to Krista and her husband for making my day unforgettable. I couldn't have done it without her. My only regret is that I didn't use her more comprehensive planning services! Do not hesitate, book Krista now!! -

Overall, I am so pleased with Krista at Wishes! She helped me relax and have fun at my wedding knowing she was taking care of all the day-of details. It was so helpful to have a point of contact person. I opted to plan the wedding myself and hire someone for the day-of-coordination and I think it was some of the best money I spent on the wedding. Not only did it give me peace of mind, but also relief that things were getting taken care of without having to ask family or friends to do things. They could just enjoy themselves! I appreciated her feedback and help in answering questions. I really liked that she confirmed with all my vendors the week of the wedding too. I would highly recommend Krista and in fact have already given her name out to a couple brides I know!

As MOB I feel booking wishes! took so much stress off of us, as wishes found and recommended vendors based on our budget and wedding style. Also the budget worksheet and schedule provided by wishes was invaluable to us for tracking cost and tasks. Wishes worked with all aspects of my daughter's wedding and was very supportive and sincere. On the big day we had rain, and wishes! worked to move all chairs etc. outside once the rain broke - just long enough for the ceremony! The people who work for wishes work very hard, and are very good at what they do. Recommend them highly. -

1) Getting a wedding planner was probably the best money I spent (other than maybe the band). It allowed me to totally relax and be present day of.... only downside to this was I was TOO relaxed and because I am typically so anal, I think Krista assumed i would keep MYSELF on time for getting ready, which I did not, and so ended up having to rush my makeup at the end.
2) If/since you're going to get a day-of planner, Krista is awesome. She offered the perfect package for me. Full day of (she was around for over 12 hours on our wedding day) with a few meetings before, but at a reasonable price. I still did all of the planning, but I really appreciated meeting with her, so it relieved my stress to know that I was going to be able to trust someone else to execute the day of. She is very on top of it, and totally trustworthy.
3) No one is perfect, and I had some issues with communications with Krista before the wedding, I think mostly because she was moving, but the weekend/day of the wedding she was amazing, and in the end, that is what matters most. -

We opted for the day- of coordination with Kat so that our parents could relax and enjoy the day vs. orchestrating everything. We got a great deal of preparation help throughout our planning process. Both my husband and I had been involved in several weddings, and had made the decision to hire a wedding coordinator, as we had witnessed first hand the stress on the family and friends the day of, in terms of setting up and coordinating the last minute details. We wanted someone on the day of our vows to “carry out” our vision and wrap up the last minute details. We had most everything planned prior to hiring Krista, but she was wonderful in terms of directing us and tying up anything we may have forgotten. Krista was personable and we felt at ease with her doing such on our wedding day.; a few minor hiccups happened; our groomsmen attire was malfunctioning, requiring my MOH and Sister In Law to do some last minute tailoring and re-sewing of buttons; Krista had a sewing kit as she had promised, but it was missing needles, which sent them all over the facility seeking out safety pins to secure buttons in place. Also, when my husband and I went to light our unity candles at our alter, there were no candles in the candle holders; which honestly made for a good laugh and is something we will never forget. Krista, emailed me to follow-up post wedding, but also to apologize specifically for both instances. I appreciated Krista keeping us to our timeline. The one downfall I would say is that our wedding party and my florist (a good family friend), were not impressed with her; they felt she didn’t have a good grip on the situation or “hustle” to put the finishing touches on our reception venue, and my florist and her team definitely felt they had to step in and finish the decorating. Our MOH and Best Man had somewhat negative interactions with her and were frustrated as she didn’t seem to know “who was who,” and their expectation was that she would at the very least remember who they were and their names. Overall I would recommend Krista, because ultimately I as the bride didn’t have any worries or stress other than making it down the aisle the day of! -

I highly, highly suggest that all couples at least get a day-of coordinator to help alleviate the stress and delegate tasks. I would do this 100 times over. We hired Krista mostly for taking care of day-of things, but enjoyed that her package included plenty of meeting time early on. She was confident and had experience with many of my other vendors before. I hardly heard from her on the wedding day, but I take that as a good thing, and that she was taking care of business. She handled a parking snafu, my handmade decorations and a bridesmaid pantyhose emergency flawlessly.
When we first met her, she was full of positive energy and ideas and made it seem like she would anticipate our every need. At the wedding she was professional but not as enthusiastic, and took care of the things that we asked her for but didn't go above and beyond. It just wasn't the same person we had met at first. My biggest problem was when the schedule didn't arrive until 2 days before the wedding - it made that last week pretty stressful. Her paperwork lists an "assistant" I just think it's fair to note that's her husband. He's sweet, and helpful, but the wording had me expecting something else. -

We had a wonderful team of vendors at our wedding, except for Wishes. Unfortunately, Wishes single handedly ruined our ceremony. We had a late September outdoor wedding, we knew it could rain during the wedding. We made our Plan B clear to Wishes, should the forecast call for rain. When we arrived at the venue, we were shocked to notice that plan B was not set in motion. 10 minutes prior to the ceremony, Krista asked me if I still wanted to have the ceremony outside or have a standing ceremony inside, as it had started to rain. In my opinion, a day of coordinator wouldn't have even given us that option to have it outside. We both assumed that since she's still telling us that we could have it outside, it may just be a slight drizzle. She went off and told our guest that I still wanted the ceremony outside and that it would be a quick ceremony. Yeah, it wasn't a slight drizzle, it was a complete down pour! Our guests still sat outside in the rain anyways. Krista's exact words to me were, "If the DJ doesn't care about his equipment in the rain, your guest shouldn't mind it either." Seriously? That was the professional advice given. Our videographer and photographers were out in the rain with their equipment as well, which I'm sure we would have been held liable for should there have been any damages. After our wedding party lined up downstairs and saw the pouring down rain, we called in all the guests as it was ridiculous to have them sitting in the rain! We had a standing ceremony inside instead, which was not what we wanted or had even planned. Krista stated that they couldn't switch to plan B because it was too late. Again, should they have just set it in motion from the start, we would not have been in that position. We had Wishes until 1AM, but they started doing tear down at 11:30PM WHILE a large handful of our family were still sitting and mingling! Yes, we ended the DJ early, but not the gathering. The evening still turned out great, with no thanks to Wishes. -

Someday I will find the time to write out the long, long list of unfortunate issues we had with our wedding - not entirely but largely the fault of our wedding planner and day-of coordinator - but suffice it to say for now that I would NOT recommend Wishes! Wedding Coordination for anyone looking for a stress-free wedding planning experience and wedding day itself. This review is long overdue but it is certainly due, especially since we requested but never received reimbursement for the gratuity we had given them (earlier on the wedding, as is customary). Not once but twice they promised to return the gratuity, and that never came.
That is however only one of the many issues we had with Wishes. Someday I will pour myself a strong drink, churn up those memories and write them all out here. -
