WINK was so wonderful to work with for our wedding. They were very communicative, professional, and our hair person, Theresa, was amazing. Not only was she fantastic at doing hair- she did awesome at my bridal hair trial and on the wedding day- but she was able to adapt on the day of when there were some complications with my mom. Theresa also did great with the different lengths and hair textures of me and my bridesmaids. We all looked great, and my hair stayed up and looked great all through the night- even after dancing the night away!

When I booked with them I had also scheduled a trial (must do!) Ihad the trial done for my engagement photos and when I left I was honestly not happy with it. I ended up fixing it at my house before the photoshoot - BUT I reached out to them and expressed my concerns. They were very professional and responsive, my wedding day arrived and we got to work with Krystal (cannot say enough good things about how incredibly talented and fun she was to work with). She arrived on time and got to work immediately, all the women looked so stunning, she was able to accommodate all of their requests. She nailed my looked I was over the moon happy with how it turned out. I would hire this company every time and would definitely request Krystal!

I hired WINK for my wedding hair and makeup and cannot recommend them enough! Prior to my wedding, I completed a trial and felt very comfortable and pampered. I worked with Eric for my hair and Krystal for my makeup and they made sure to address all my questions and create the vision that I wanted. On the day of my wedding, they were so much fun to get ready with and helped keep the energy up in the bridal suite. My mother and bridesmaids all agreed that they were truly our best vendors of the day! My hair and makeup was perfect and lasted throughout the rain and dancing - they even provided me with a small touch up kit and tips for fixing my hair if needed. My girls all looked amazing and felt so beautiful. If you are looking for a HMU team you definitely need to hire them!

Wink was probably one of my favorite vendors to work with. I absolutely adored Kristi. I was very nervous about what my hair and makeup would look like, so I also got a HMU trial.. and it was so worth it. All of my fears and nerves was laid to rest. On the day of the wedding, our two stylists were absolutely amazing - they were a blast to chat to, but they really made my bridesmaids and I look amazing. My hair was a low bun with braid updo kind of thing and I am still obsessed with it. I 100% recommend Wink. They are professional and know what they are doing.

I couldn’t say more positive things about Wink’s team. Professional, detail-oriented, fun and vibrant team that goes above and beyond to make you feel as beautiful as ever for your wedding day. They got 9 ladies hair and makeup done in less than 4 hours for my Sunday brunch wedding!!! Not to mention they gave me the best of both worlds by having my hair half up for the ceremony and photos then quickly throwing it up for my outdoor reception!!! AND my extensions were too long that I sort of started to freak out that my fiancé would think it was out of my character and they cut them last minute for me quickly before walking down the aisle!! I can’t say enough good things about WINK Hair and Makeup! Kristi and Krystal were both so much fun throughout the process. I went to the studio for a bridal hair and makeup trial and then they came to the venue to do hair and makeup for me and my three bridesmaids. During both interactions they were so helpful and listened to my vision for hair and makeup and made it come to life. The hair was just like the picture I showed and the makeup was so natural and beautiful. I was so happy with everything they did for me and my bridesmaids. They also were on-time and communicative. From the start they were happy to help with any questions I had, even when I had to ask for multiple estimates before signing. They were absolutely wonderful and I’m so glad that I got to spend my wedding morning with my bridesmaids and with them – they truly made everything more relaxed and enjoyable!

I felt like a princess!
WINK hair + makeup did an amazing job for my bridal portraits and wedding. Kristi was great to work with and was very responsive when I had questions and when a couple of issues arose with day of scheduling with my bridesmaids. During my trial hair and makeup session Kristi was helpful in suggesting a makeup look that would be complementary. This was much appreciated with my limited knowledge of makeup. The day of the wedding Kristi and her team had my bridesmaids and mother looking gorgeous and I truly felt like a princess once my hair and makeup was done and I got into my dress. I cannot recommend WINK highly enough! I had the absolute pleasure of having Krystal as our makeup artist the day of my wedding and Teresa working on our hair. They were both so amazing! Each of them truly cared about making sure that myself (the bride) and my bridesmaids/family really liked how we looked, even making changes after completing hair styles (moving a braid, adding more eyeshadow, etc.). They were punctual and all of our services finished ahead of schedule! Not to mention, they were both a joy to work with, so kind and encouraging! I had an updo and my hair stayed perfectly in place all night (even with hours of dancing) and my makeup still looked great at the end of the night (even in North Carolina July heat!). A wonderful experience with Kristi!
I had a great experience with Kristi for my October 2020 wedding! I came to the bridal trial with about five completely different styles that I liked, but didn't have a vision of exactly what I wanted. Between the pictures and the "vibe" that I was going for, Kristi was able to create some ART! It was a beautiful take on all the little elements that I loved from other hairstyles, but made it unique to me.
On top of her talent, Kristi is the nicest person! She was so easy to talk to and had a very calming presence on wedding day. My bridesmaids/MOG hair looked great! My hair held up after a hot day, photos, and lots of dancing. I would recommend Wink!

Kristi & Krystal did the hair and makeup for our wedding on 11-15-20. They did 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and MIL. Having them at the venue felt like two additions to the bridal party. They are professional and personable.
As someone that doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, Kristi listened to all of my concerns and did a fantastic job! (For both the trial and the wedding!) WINK was a dream to work with on our wedding day. The team that came to do hair and makeup was awesome. They were very professional and did a great job making everyone feel safe during COVID times. This was one of the few weddings I have been to where everything seemed to get done on time, if not a little bit ahead. They were super efficient and brought out the best side of everyone. They did a great job matching styles that girls showed on their phones but they were also able to find the perfect look for the girls who say “I don’t know what I want”. Our whole bridal crew was feeling fierce on our wedding day thanks to our WINK team. I highly recommend using them on your wedding day!

I chose Wink for our wedding because I had gotten hair and makeup from them as a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding. They are incredible! As someone who is picky and critical when other people do my hair and makeup, I have never found anything to change when Wink is in charge. They are able to do hair and makeup in a way that is not overdone, looks completely tasteful and tailored to you, and STAYS! WINK stepped up above and beyond what I ever expected when my wedding was postponed and then completely restructured due to COVID. In addition to rescheduling to our new date without hesitation, they added an extra stylist to accommodate the additional time they’d need between girls to sanitize and made my wedding feel so normal despite everything crazy going on. Kristi and the entire WINK team were absolutely AMAZING! They did my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits and every little detail turned out perfect! These group of girls are not only so talented but they are SO down to earth and sweet! I had my trial with Sam (hair) and Maritza (makeup). At first I didn't convey what I truly wanted so I did a second hair trial and it was spot on! They were so understanding and they really listened to me and wanted to make sure everything was how I envisioned it. And they delivered to the max. Flawless beyond words!
As a hair and makeup minimalist in my day-to-day, this was a biggie for me to get just right. The ladies at Wink! WAY exceeded expectations. Their prices are reasonable and they were beyond flexible with my many schedule changes leading up to the big day (hair for bridesmaids...losing a bridesmaid..re-gaining a bridesmaid (military schedules, phew!)...adding dad's GF, dad's GF adding makeup for everyone...you get the idea) and had several different options for different budgets.
The trial was an instant hit, I loved the very first makeup look we tried - clearly taking into consideration my suggestions, comfort zone, and their expertise - and after some minor tweaking, hair was perfect as well.
With a total of 5 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and the bride for hair and makeup, we chose to have them come to the venue and added additional stylists to cut down on the getting ready time, which was just right! All the bridesmaids and moms loved their makeup and were excited to get their hair done and give their suggestions to the stylists day-of. The makeup stayed alllllll day long through eating, getting sweaty dancing, and crying. Each girl was provided a touch up kit, which I loved, and although I received one as well, I didn't even need it because the initial application remained flawless, even 10 hours later!

I hired WINK for my bridal hair and makeup, as well as for my bridesmaids. The hair and makeup artists were professional, efficient and super accommodating to our requests. They were able to make us all look and feel our best, despite differences in hair type, etc. Each bridesmaid had a consistent look, but did not have the same exact style, which was exactly what I wanted. I was incredibly pleased with my own HMU, as I was nervous being the bride. The look was flawless yet natural; I didn't feel like I was coated in makeup and could still tell I was myself.
Working with WINK definitely helped ease stress on the day of the wedding. I would certainly recommend them!

Wink. Is. Incredible! As a basic make-up user in my every day (mascara and lip gloss only kind of girl), I was so stressed out about hair and makeup for my wedding. After a facetime consultation (we were planning from a different state), we ended up working with Krystal and Eric. They were incredible, truly. Krystal was so patient with the makeup piece of it, including working through several rounds to make sure that I found the right lip for a natural look. Eric was on POINT with the hair – he created waves and bangs and was so creative. The best part was their personalities – they were fun, easy going and great to work with. They were such a wonderful addition to getting ready and the day. I can’t recommend them enough!

Kristi and team truly made me (and my wedding party!) feel so beautiful on my wedding day!
After doing an initial hair and makeup trial with Kristi & Theresa, I knew I had hired the right individuals to bring my wedding look to life.
On the day of the wedding, Kristi and team arrived promptly and got to work glamming us up! Even when timing got tight towards the end, they remained calm and got all our hair and makeup done.
I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup, but Kristi totally nailed it – making me feel natural and amazing! Theresa did a fantastic job on my hair, it was beyond beautiful and held strong through “I dos” and dancing!
One of the best decisions we made was to hire Kristi to stay through pictures as an “Artist in Action.” Seriously, best money spent!
Kristi came along with us through hours of photographs, making sure our hair and makeup was just right in between every shot! She even stayed to touch up hair and makeup on my wedding party and me so we looked perfect right before walking down the aisle!

My wedding planner highly recommended Wink Hair and Makeup. Kristi the owner was very easy to work with. She was responsive and flexible with any of my requests (starting earlier, airbrush, etc). By the time I was ready to book, Kristi was no longer available to do my services. However, Kristi was able to send four of her wonderful and talented ladies (Jeanette, Theresa, Khaliah, and Ashley). On the day of my wedding, my ten bridesmaids, MOB, and I looked and felt gorgeous. They did an excellent job and everything was perfect.

The WINK team was wonderful! From the very beginning Kristi was so responsive and helpful! After my trial my bridesmaids were so impressed with the pictures that they all signed up for services too. Kristi worked to find a way to schedule and include them. Theresa absolutely worked magic on my hair and I never knew I could have such a gorgeous updo! My hair stayed in place perfectly and felt comfortable and secure for the whole wedding day. It was gorgeous! Khaliah did our make-up beautifully! She knew I wanted a very natural look and had even ordered special light fake eyelashes for me. It was flawless and still felt like "me". Everything stayed in place and felt light and perfect for the whole day and night. We all loved having the WINK team with us Saturday morning getting ready. These ladies are the BEST! I absolutely loved working with Kristi and could not have asked for a better hair/makeup experience. I had six bridesmaids and between us we have to have been in 100 weddings and we all agreed this was by far the best wedding hair and makeup we had ever had! There is nothing worse than paying a ton of money for hair and makeup and then have it not last or hating it. Everyone looked amazing, and they were so fun to be with during the day. My daughter, the bride, lives across the country so I did a lot of the wedding coordinating, vendor selection, etc. I read seemingly countless reviews of different Hair and Make-up artists because I wanted the bridal prep to be relaxed, efficient, calm and enjoyable for all. The bride, her sister (MoH) and I are "introverts with social skills" so didn't want a lot of hub bub, loud or drama prone vendors. Kristi is first and foremost a very talented artist with the BEST temperament. She's easy to talk to but not overly chatty. She had to handle an emergency with her daughter as she was doing the bride's make-up. Fortunately her husband was able to take care of the situation and her daughter was ok but she was calm and clear-headed and managed a worrisome situation without missing a beat. We were all ready with ample time to spare. And we looked fabulous! The hair and make-up lasted all day and evening for an outside wedding. No small task!
Kristi is really responsive and will give you the look you desire from subtle, natural to dramatic and daring. Also, it's very nice to not worry about bringing any make-up. She supplies high end products including extra for lip touch ups. Doing the trial is a worthwhile investment as you can make adjustments. High recommended. Thanks so much! I loved working with Krystal and Nikki from WINK on my wedding day. They were both so fun and accommodating. They truly listened to what I had to say about my vision for the day. They did my hair and makeup as well as 6 bridesmaids and one of the moms! Nikki brought her collection of curling irons and hair products and was able to beautifully style many different styles and types of hair. Krystal was absolutely amazing. She has now done my makeup on 3 occasions (and I'm certain there will be more in the future) and it looked flawless every time. I loved working with Kristi! She continually goes above and beyond for her clients, and is always flexible and accommodating.
For instance, months before the wedding I needed advice as far as skin care regimens because no one wants a bunch of breakouts on their wedding day. She pointed me in the right direction with a Clarisonic brush and Roden + Fields products, and also responded to my emails when I had questions regarding their use.
Leading up to the wedding day, family members had last minute requests to also get their make up done. Not only did Kristi work hard to make this happen, she even brought another artist in to relieve my concerns about timing.
Finally, after doing a beautiful job with my make up for the wedding, Kristi stayed around as I was getting my dress on and through the first look to make sure in case I cried, which I did! Amazingly, my makeup stayed looking as great anyway! I cannot recommend Kristi enough.

I originally thought I might watch some DIY makeup videos and try to do my makeup myself, but I didn't want the nerves and chaos of the wedding day to ruin something as important as my face! Luckily I found Kristi Lynn and Krystal, and these ladies are seriously talented! From the beginning, they responded quickly and were very professional. At my makeup trial, Kristi listened to my requests, but also had some great ideas of her own to make me look even better. On the wedding day, they did a wonderful job following a variety of requests - from light, natural makeup for my mom and mother-in-law to heavier smokey eyes for me and my bridesmaids. I felt so gorgeous and received so many compliments - it was awesome! The cost for a makeup artist on your wedding is absolutely worth it. Having one alleviates so much stress and, as professionals, they know how to make you look your best in person and in photos. I cannot recommend these ladies highly enough!

Kristi and Amy were my Wink makeup and hair team for my wedding and they were amazing! They were both early to set up at my location and very professional along the way. Amy did my hair first and it looked beautiful ?? I liked it even better than when we did my trial. She really listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Kristi did my makeup after that. She completely transformed me. I felt so beautiful. All of my guests kept saying how flawless my makeup looked. She even stuck around until after the first look to touch me up after I cried like a baby. I can't say enough about these talented ladies. They will make you look and feel amazing for any event!

Kristi and the WINK team were wonderful. I really wanted the people I surrounded myself with on my wedding day to be a calming presence...and talented too. Both Kristi and Theresa were sweet fantastic women that also did a beautiful job on the make-up and hair for myself, my mom and the bridal party. When I left me trial I was still a little nervous. They both listened to everything I said at the trial and at the day of they took my comments into account...but made it even better than I could have imagined.

Kristi did my make-up and my mother’s make-up for the wedding. Kristi was very easy to schedule make-up trials with and was willing to work with me on finding the right look. I ended up scheduling a 2nd trial to make some small tweaks. She had taken the time to research products that would work for my skin. The day of the wedding she showed up on time and got everything done in the time allotted. I was very happy with the final outcome, my make-up looked great in person and in photos. My mother was happy with her look as well.

I was really looking forward to writing this endorsement because I was so delighted with Wink Hair and Makeup.
I really appreciated their professionalism, their obvious talents, and having the ability to come on site of the wedding venue was such a plus! Kristi accommodated two makeup trials for me prior to the wedding to make sure that we got it right for the day of- She was just the best. Everyone, including different generations of women and women with all different skin types, looked flawless! And, every one's hair also looked amazing. Thanks, ladies! <3

Stunning Hair & Makeup
I could not have asked for a better hair and make up experience. The WINK team made me feel absolutely beautiful on my day-of and my bridesmaids and family were all pleased with their services as well. Everyone was professional but still so friendly, it felt like they were just part of the gang.
Kristi nailed my hairstyle during my trial and on my wedding day. My hair stayed curled (historically difficult) and in place throughout the day. When making my day-of timeline, Kristi made sure to leave enough time to manage my long and thick hair. She also helped me figure out the best number of artists to have on the day of based on my schedule, number of people getting services done, and my budget.
Cammy was so skilled and had no trouble achieving the look I wanted during my trial and on the day of. Because of my eye shape (monolid), I've struggled getting my makeup done at other people's weddings and having it look too heavy or smearing all over my bottom lash line by the end of the day. While I'm sure I had plenty of makeup on, I didn't look overdone and didn't notice it at all. Cammy made sure I looked great and that my makeup stayed in place all night!

Long-lasting natural beauty!
The WINK team provided hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding in July 2021. They were absolutely fantastic. Specifically, they did an amazing job of listening to each of our preferences and making any changes as needed to ensure we each ended with the look we wanted. It made me cry to see all of my beautiful bridesmaids! They were all really happy with the results, and one of my bridesmaids even commented that this was the first wedding where she actually liked her hair and makeup. I would highly recommend WINK for any hair and makeup services you need, especially for creating a natural look. It was HOT on my wedding day and everyone still looked fantastic by the end of the night.

Loved Kristi & Theresa for our group's hair & makeup! In addition to wedding day hair and makeup, I also had a trial with them and they were great with my feedback about my makeup and hair. I was nervous about makeup because I don't usually wear any day to day and Kristi made sure I was comfortable with what I had on. Theresa was awesome with hair! She knew how to work with so many styles, thick/thin/curly/straight. Would for sure recommend them for your wedding party!

Wedding Day Hair- Perfection!
WINK Hair and Makeup is incredible! My mom, maid of honor, and I got our hair done for my wedding with Janna. She was so fun and personable! After our appointment we felt like best friends. This was great because Janna was the first person and first wedding vendor that we interacted with on my wedding day, and she seriously set the mood for an incredible time! We went to the studio instead of having her come to us, and it is just the cutest most relaxing place. Lots of complimentary drinks and adorable decorations! I'm truly so thankful for Janna and her incredible skills!! My hair stayed in the entire wedding so well with no touch ups. When I went to take it down at around midnight it was still completely perfect!

So far I have only had my trial with Wink, but everything was wonderful! Both Kristi and Theresa were wonderful, and accommodated any small changes or tweaks I asked them to make to my hair and makeup. I don't usually like the way I look when I have someone else do my makeup, but I LOVED my final look and I can't wait for Wink to do hair and makeup for myself and all my bridesmaids for my wedding soon!

WINK contacted me when another vendor was unable to come through and took care of everything! Krystal was amazing, so easy to work with and talk to. I was really impressed at how well she responded to my personal preferences for my look. It can be hard to communicate what look your'e looking for as I am someone who doesn't have any makeup expertise, but Krystal was able to understand and accommodate everything I asked, and she gave me the look I wanted. I looked in the mirror, and I actually loved the way I looked, I had no insecurities, I felt beautiful. Having that feeling on my wedding day, meant the world to me. Thank you Krystal, and WINK!

Kristi and Janna did a wonderful job on my make up (Kristi) and hair (Janna). I am extremely picky about both of these things and on an everyday basis wear very little make up-- having a look that was lovely but VERY natural was critical to me (same goes for my mom, mom in law, and sis in law who all have very natural styles normally). I came out of my first trial happy with my hair, but the make up wasn't right for me-- too much. I honestly got scared and thought about jumping ship rather than trying to work it out with them; but, I had a phone conversation with Kristi's business partner (Krystal) and talked about my concerns, and then arranged for a second make up trial with Kristi herself. I am so glad that I hung on, because after my second trial, I felt totally confident that I would feel beautiful on my wedding day. And I definitely did. It was all fantastic. My mom etc. were all very happy with their make up and hair too, which says a lot as they are all just as picky and wary of make up as me:). The fact that Kristi and her team responded to my initial issues and did what they could to make me happy was much appreciated, and just great service. Thank you Kristi and team!

Wink was great and very easy to work with. The were a great value and did a great job ensuring they met my day of timeline. I loved my make-up artist. She was very calm and did a beautiful job on the mothers, the bridesmaids, and myself. My hairstylist was a little stressed the day of. I also wish he had listened a little more to my input regarding the information I provided prior to my trial. After I gave feedback during the trial, however, everything turned out great for the wedding. Overall, I am glad I chose Wink and would definitely recommend them.

WINK did a great job with my bridal hair and makeup and the entire rest of my wedding party!!! They are very talented and good at what they do. I loved that at the trial they said over and over again to let them know if I wanted to change anything, they truly wanted you to have the look you want and don't want you to feel afraid to voice any changes!!
My only comment is that they were slow to respond, much slower than any of my other vendors. It took a week + for each e-mail response which made a simple conversation get dragged out. Besides responsiveness, they were truly exceptional hair and makeup artists and I would highly recommend!!

The only thing keeping me from giving WINK a 5-star rating is the communication skills of the owners. I got a pretty speedy response to my first inquiry, and Kristi (I think) set up a phone appointment for a couple days later. I never got this call but later got a message from her apologizing for missing it, saying she would call me the next day. During our phone call the next day she said I had been set up with Janna, and I requested a trial appointment ASAP. Kristi said she would call me back the next day to let me know Janna's availability. I didn't get a call back for several days, so I emailed WINK. Several more days passed without response so I emailed again and called. The call went unanswered, and get this -- the voicemail box was full and no longer accepting messages! I finally put in another inquiry from the website thinking they might pay more attention to apparently new clients. I got a response to this new inquiry pretty quickly and an appointment was set up with Janna within the week.
I have nothing but absolutely wonderful things to say about Janna. She listens to the client's desires but isn't afraid to give her expert advice in making you look your best on your wedding day. Her hair and makeup skills leave nothing desired -- I absolutely love the look she gave me!! She is also very punctual and organized.
The day before the wedding I had an unforeseen scheduling conflict and needed to get in contact with WINK immediately, so I called their number and weeks after my previous calls, no one answered and the mailbox was still full, so no messages! I emailed, but I didn't respect a prompt response. WINK doesn't give clients the hair and makeup artist's contact info out, as the owners apparently handle all communications...but I got Janna's number personally and thank god, because I was able to contact her the evening before my wedding to straighten things out. Overall, great hair + makeup services, poor communication at every turn.

Do NOT Recommend
I do not recommend Wink due to concerns with transparency and professionalism. Pricing was not communicated clearly, and when I asked for clarification, the situation was handled with an ultimatum to either accept their terms or lose the contract. Brides deserve vendors who are upfront, consistent, and respectful in their communication — unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
