  Our Favorite Vendor of them all!

  Our wedding day was absolutely magical and we owe it all to Katie from Willow and Waylon Events. From the moment we met Katie, her commitment to perfection and attention to detail shone through every step of the way which spoke to my very type A personality. She truly made the whole experience stress-free by keeping us on a timeline, keeping track of all of our vendors and given that we both have very hectic work schedules on top of moving out of state prior to the wedding, she dealt with all of the vendors for us. Not to mention when one coordinator from one of our vendors was not meeting her standards, she took to initiative to rectify the situation by contacting the company and changing coordinators for us to ensure we had the best possible experience. She was with us every step of the way with multiple regular check-ins over the year of planning and was by my side through the wedding day as a calming presence to keep everyone on track. Above all, she is such a kind and thoughtful human being and in general, lovely to work with. I can't give Katie and her company higher praise, I would not have been able to get through planning our wedding and wedding day without her.

  Stop looking - Hire Katie!

  We were so incredibly blessed to have worked with Katie as our wedding coordinator. From start to finish she was professional, friendly, organized, detailed oriented, flexible and always available. I'm honestly not sure how Katie does it all by herself! Our family and friends raved about Katie's professionalism, impressive speed and attention to detail. We had several check-in meetings before our wedding where she helped us finalize every last detail including many things I would have never thought of, and made recommendations on vendors we were having trouble choosing. All of our final meetings with our vendors were super easy because Katie reached out to all of them ahead of time! It was also super nice to have her attend our final venue meeting with us in person. She helped our first time officiant with her script and timeline for the ceremony. She ran our entire rehearsal and put up every single one of our venue decorations by herself the morning of our wedding. We didn't worry about timing, vendor tips or any last minute questions on wedding day, knowing with full confidence that she would handle it all. Our day was executed flawlessly and completely stress free thanks to all of her hard work!

  The BEST wedding coordinator!

  Booking with Katie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Throughout the entire wedding planning process she was resourceful and supportive. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her during wedding day and the weeks leading up- everything went seamlessly and I was able to relax and trust her with every detail. Multiple guests and family members commented on how helpful and friendly she was. You really cannot go wrong with hiring Katie as your wedding coordinator, we are so thankful we had her for our big day!

  Hiring Katie from Willow and Waylon Events was the absolute best wedding decision we made!! If you’ve planned a wedding or any large event, you know how stressful and overwhelming it can be. Katie helped us keep everything organized, was an amazing liason between us and all of our vendors, and allowed us to have the most stress-free wedding day possible, which is exactly what my husband and I wanted. Katie was always easily accessible. She was prompt to return phone calls and responded quickly to emails and texts. Whenever I started stressing during our planning process, I would contact Katie to get the peace of mind and direction I needed. On the day of our wedding, she was the go to person for questions, concerns, and you name it. She made everything flow effortlessly and come together flawlessly! Our day was as perfect as it could have been, thanks to Katie’s care, coordination, and attention to all the little details.   As we started wedding planning, we knew we wanted to hire a wedding coordinator, but Katie did so much more than we could have imagined. On each Zoom call, she helped keep our planning on track, shared new and fun ideas when we were unsure of what we wanted, and gave amazing recommendations. She truly made our wedding day seamless by communicating with all of our vendors, checking in at each step in our timeline, and was there whenever we needed her throughout the day. She even came prepared with her own bobby pins and helped secure my veil when it was falling out during pictures! Katie is absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend her enough!

  Katie was absolutely fantastic to work with and made our wedding day seamless - I would highly recommend hiring her as your wedding planner!! Firstly, she was professional; she was prompt when responding to emails, on-time for every meeting, and very organized. She was extremely helpful in answering wedding related questions in the months leading up to our wedding all the way to the day itself. There is a ridiculous amount of details that comes with planning a wedding, and we literally could not have handled it on our own; Katie not only helped us plan a beautiful wedding day, but she also helped us actually execute it. She truly listened to us when discussing what we wanted for our day and offered priceless advice, as well as several options for highly rated vendors based on our interests and budget (we did choose 3 vendors she suggested and loved them, and I already recommended them to others planning their wedding). There were many times where she pointed out crucial missing details that we didn't even realize we needed to pull everything off. Additionally, she helped keep us on track with our planning by sharing timelines and charts for us to fill in and use as guidelines. Katie was a huge help leading up to the wedding and she coordinated everything on the actual day; she set up our venue décor, contacted and kept track of all vendors, ensured the seating chart and menu was correct, ensured we stuck to our timeline, helped pack up all our stuff at the end of the night, and even bustled my dress. She did so much more than this but these are some big ticket items. I would re-hire her in a heartbeat!

  Katie did an amazing job! She was super responsive and offered vendor suggestions when we were having trouble planning remotely. Katie made sure no detail was missed or question went unanswered and the comprehensive timeline she put together ensured the wedding day ran smoothly and was incredibly stress-free.   It was wonderful working with Katie. Throughout our engagement, we had multiple calls with her to formulate a timeline and go over all the little details I never would have thought of myself. The day of our wedding, Katie handled nearly everything, which allowed my husband and I to be guests at our own wedding. We could not have gotten through the day without her!

  Katie was recommended by my florist, and when my florist told me that she is one the rare wedding coordinator coming in sneakers and not high heels on the day, always there to help out, I knew she was the one!
  I can't thank Katie enough for the amazing job she did, from the rehearsal, to the decoration, and the whole execution.
  We did not have an easy wedding since it was a French/American one, being myself a high-stress bride, having two separate venues, one for the ceremony (Villa Terrace) and one for the reception (The Cooperage) and having a clueless French family.
  Katie is an AMAZING listener, she listened to everything we told her and she was able to bring our vision to life, bringing the two cultures together on our special day.
  She were professional, ORGANIZED, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

  Katie was absolutely amazing as our day of coordinator. From my first phone call with her, it was clear how organized, reliable, professional, and friendly she is. Katie was at our rehearsal, and when things seemed like they might not be quite as organized as needed, she generously volunteered to come to the ceremony to make sure things ran smoothly, even though she was not contracted for the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, Katie was basically the magical fairy godmother I never knew I needed. She was on top of EVERYTHING from the moment we arrived to get ready until the very end of clean up at the end of the night. If anything went wrong, I was completely unaware of it. She was amazing and a huge reason why our wedding was so perfect. Her pricing was also super reasonable and well worth it. I can't recommend Willow and Waylon Events enough!

  The Best Wedding Planner in Wisconsin

  I cannot recommend Katie enough as THE wedding planner/coordinator you should get for your wedding day. Katie had an impossible job - trying to unify my and my husband's visions (which were usually almost opposite of eachother) into a cohesive event, in a very spatially restrictive venue, with very unique components (turning our ceremony space into a surprise rock band performance and back into a reception/dance floor). Not only did she do it flawlessly while having us both feeling heard and represented, but she also had things under control in such a way that I felt not one single, solitary, SPECK of stress on our wedding day and was able to be carried away by the bliss and serenity of the best day, evening, and night ever (and that is a huge feat as I can confidently say I've never NOT been stressed a single day or hour in my life). Katie knows her stuff, can anticipate potential problems and comes up with creative and effective solutions, and goes above and beyond to help bring our visions to life.   Katie is amazing! I can honestly say we could not have planned this wedding without her. We live in Chicago and got married in Milwaukee, not only did Katie help us find vendors we needed; she also ensured our day was perfect.   After my initial consultation call with Katie, I hung up the phone feeling like I had just caught up with an old friend. I immediately knew that Willow and Waylon Events would be the perfect solution to my day-of wedding coordinating needs. And Katie exceeded expectations.

  Impeccable attention to detail

  I wish that I could hire Katie to coordinate every event that I have for the rest of my life. Out of every single wedding vendor, she was the most valuable for the money that was spent.
  I often found myself pleasantly shocked at all of the little things that she took off of my hands so that I could just enjoy my day. Something as simple as asking who I was looking for while I was wandering around with an ankle bracelet in my hand, looking for my bridesmaid. She took the ankle bracelet from me and told me that she would take care of getting it to my bridesmaid so that I could continue enjoying my wedding day. It was the little things like this that truly made Katie amazing. Her attention to detail was impeccable. I swear she must have always had one eye on me to make sure that I was okay and didn't need anything.
  She saved the day when the wrong color napkins were laid out. She grabbed my bridal bouquet from me and handed me the correct one to throw, just in time. She walked us through our cake cutting. She walked along the buffet with me and held my plate and carried it to my seat. She fetched us drinks. She walked our kids and their babysitter to the car when it was time for them to leave. She had my speech ready to hand to me as soon as I needed it. She decorated, tore down, cleaned up. She made things look better than I had anticipated. She made things WORK. I'm honestly wondering if she has like two extra clones of herself because I don't know one person did it all so flawlessly.

  The Absolute Best Vendor We Had At Our Wedding

  Katie was by far the best vendor we worked with for our wedding in September 2022 in Oconomowoc, WI. My husband and I both agreed that the effort, work, and professionalism shown by Katie consistently was worth more than double what she charged for her services. Our wedding would not have been the most perfect, stress-free day that it was without Katie. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. We knew from the first time we chatted with her that she could handle everything and anything needed for our wedding. In the days leading up to our wedding and for weeks after, we have heard from our family and friends how impressive Katie was. Some of our favorite things about Katie include her making sure all guests left with a favor/goodie bag (there were only 4 left at the end of the night); her reassurance to me right before walking down the aisle (I thought I was going to pass out from panic); and answering every and all little question my husband and I asked her leading up to our wedding.   Katie was great. There are so many moving pieces before a wedding and even more the day of and she keeps everything and everyone calm and organized. She took care of every detail. We were able to enjoy the day and defer everything to her. She is extremely easy to work with. I can’t count how many times during the whole process that I said , ask Katie or Katie will handle that. She is excellent and will not disappoint. I highly recommend her.
