BEST Wedding Photographer EVER!

If you are looking for an extraordinary wedding photographer, look no further! Willa captured all the beauty and wonder of our wedding day. She was everywhere and yet we never saw her or felt that she was too close, which was important to me. She made us feel so comfortable. Our venue was close to the beach and she whisked us away to get the most beautiful sunset photos before our guests even knew we were missing! We are so glad that she did this as those photos were some of the most beautiful of all!

Best Decision Ever

Willa is simply magical - super talented photographer and amazing human! I spoke with so many photographers in search of the right fit and Willa was all that and much, much more. The absolute best overall- talent, skill, personality!

Willa was the best choice that we made for our Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding on May 7, 2021. I have absolutely no regrets and I am thrilled to refer her to friends, family, and colleagues. Note that we were on a tight budget, and we were able to hire her for the 2-hour weekday SB Courthouse session. If you are on a similarly tight budget, try to go with this option as you will not regret it. She's worth every dollar and more!

Willa is talented, has a beautiful artistic vision, and she has a delightful personality that will put you at ease. She maintained a great, supportive energy and provided helpful direction during our 2 hour courthouse photograph session. She was able to take the two of us- slightly awkward & introverted mid-30's dorks- and make us look beautiful.

I am in awe of the photographs that she created. She is such a gem!! Go ahead and book with her!

Digital Goddess Empowerment Session Captured My Highest Self at 36 and Fabulous

I am absolutely amazed at what Willa was able to capture in our digital photography session. This was a new concept to me but I was excited to see how it would work. This was more than a photoshoot because it wasn't just about the pictures it was about the experience and I definitely felt that. Thru the computer and phone, we open the session by clearing the space with sage individually, and Willa guided me into meditation to help connect to my inner goddess. Once I was tapped in... she freely guided me into my highest self to capture my inner spirit. And after seeing the pictures she really did that somehow and the results were breathtaking. I've never seen myself like this and now I see apart of myself highest self that reflects what's inside on the outside. This Goddess Empowerment Session definitely helped me see me for the Queen that I am!

I recommend all women book a session as part of self-love, self-empowerment practices, and find that inner Goddess and let her shine!

Magical & Beyond!

Willa just did my wedding this month and she also did my sister's wedding, 6 years ago, too! The sneak peek slideshow came so fast, literally the week after. She also sent me all the photos within 2 weeks! They were all incredible - like a fairlytale, sometimes I can't believe we are the ones in the photos she took. The photos really captured our personalities and love. We are forever grateful. During & before the event, she makes you feel instantly comfortable. She is organized like no other! Stress-free! She even made my "doesn't like photos" husband enjoy the process - he was loving it! She is super responsive and friendly and I would recommend her to anyone for any type of event! HIRE HER :D

Absolute best photographer!!

Willa is hands down the most incredible wedding photographer in Santa Barbara (and in my opinion, all of California). She exudes passion and excitement for what she does, and truly captivated the true joy and emotions from our wedding that we will cherish forever. She was incredible to work with, and we genuinely loved our entire experience with her. My husband does not like his photo taken, but when he met Willa, his attitude completely shifted and we ended up loving the entire process. She made us feel so comfortable and was incredibly creative. If you want the BEST photos, capturing true moments, and work with an absolute gem of a woman, you have come to the right place. The hardest part of the process is choosing the photos to put in our album because we love them ALL.

I remember reading these reviews when I thought "wow she must be amazing to get all 5 stars!" Now that we are looking back on our wedding (through our amazing photos) my husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Willa! It was a dream having her as our photographer. That was how it felt from our very first phone call all the way through receiving our photos! We are still swooning over every single one of them! The work she does is absolutely breathtaking, far exceeded our expectations, and was worth every single penny! We were married at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara and it was such a piece of mind knowing how experienced she is working at the resort! It is truly impossible to describe just how much my husband and I love Willa, both as a photographer and as a person in general. Not only are her photos some of the most beautiful I've ever seen (seriously, look at her Instagram feed), but she is honestly one of the most genuine and kind people I've ever met. From our very first telephone conversation with her, she just put us both at ease. It was like talking to an old friend. And for two people who aren't huge fans of being photographed, that was key for us.

The file sizes of the images I've got are too big for WeddingWire's website, so I will just recommend that anyone considering hiring Willa go check out her Instagram feed. Her photos obviously speak for themselves, but I will also note that our dog, Rosie, NEVER looks at the camera. Willa basically had her posing like a supermodel - even animals know Willa's the best! :-)

Wow – where do we even begin?! I’ll start off by saying that Willa is absolutely incredible, from start to finish. We met Willa at my mom’s wedding and instantly fell in love with her personality and style as a guest at the wedding… and when my mom received her photos, we fell in love all over again. My husband and I had no hesitation when choosing an engagement session and wedding photographer. Willa is adventurous, energetic, and flexible. For our engagement photo session, I had this idea of beach sunset photos. Willa was slightly worried about the lighting and so she suggested “magic hour”, or the hour before the sun sets. Again, WOW. I’m so thankful she shared her professional opinion and our photos turned out so perfect. Willa also exudes a sense of calmness, which together make for a perfect form of encouragement when you’re a nervous wreck on your wedding!

Willa is well prepared for the day, or in our case the weekend. Willa and I spoke about the wedding day plan about a week before hand and she had me send her a list of family members that we needed portrait photos with. Trust me, this is so helpful when the day of comes and everyone is running around and Willa and assistant call the names out for you. Willa even mapped out the area where we were taking our First Look photos so she was well prepared for the day.

Overall, during both sessions, I felt at ease and comfortable. Willa allowed my husband and I to let go of all the stress and just be in love! We will definitely be using her any time we want beautiful, high quality photos.

Beyond breathtaking! Willa was not only the best photographer, but she was also such a great person to work with. Planning a wedding is not the easiest thing to do and through my stressful days, Willa was on the phone with me, calming me down and reassuring me that everything was going to be just fine. She was true to her word because everything was above and beyond my expectations. She was there for site visits, hiking through brush and making sure that she had special places picked out for the unbelievable backdrops that we recieved. I was so relaxed and at ease come my wedding day because I knew she had everything taken care of. Her personality, professionalism, and fun demeanor made it easy for my husband and I to be ourselves in our photos. She really captured us, our family and our beautiful wedding setting so well. Willa is the best photographer I've come across. We hired her for our wedding. The photos were just incredible! She captured the spirit of the day. We truly cannot put into words the incredible moments that Willa has captured of our family on 3 separate occasions: our engagement, our 5 year Anniversary, and most recently, our Christmas photo. She has a knack for not only producing the best quality photos but her eye captures the absolute most magical snapshots of moments you don't even know happened. Posing, candid, artistic -- you name it, she does it. After each of our photoshoots, we didn't think it was possible to get any better turnout, but time and time again she outdoes herself. Not to mention, photographing my family isn't easy - our twins are 2.5 years old and she photographed them a week ago and also when they were only 1.5 years old. Her patience and ability to get kids to be comfortable is unparalleled. We cannot say enough about her, and we are excited for the next excuse to do a photoshoot!

Willa is great. So professional and prepared. Which was good because my now husband is not the most patient of men, especially when having to dress up and pose for pictures. But Willa managed him beautifully and got the job done! The photos were exquisite! We couldn’t have been happier with them. The main problem we are having is picking the best ones for our album. Where do we even begin....Willa is simply the best and you'll be the luckiest and happiest bride & groom if you're able to book her for your big day. My husband and I cared a lot about our photographer's energy because you spend so much time with that person (you even have to leave the party to go spend time with that person) and Willa delivered in every way.
She was excited for us, but also incredibly calming (when we were running behind schedule-- my fault, not hers)! She laughed with us, encouraged us, made us feel SO comfortable, and maybe even shed a tear or two with us. We felt so at ease in front of her camera (and Veronica's! Her assistant was AMAZING, as well!). For any Four Seasons Santa Barbara brides- Willa knew her way around the property like the back of her hand so no time was wasted finding the right spot. From a planning and post-wedding perspective, she couldn't have been easier to work with. Prompt in her responses, Willa provided guidance and suggestions, but was never pushy. We had our slideshow by day 2 of our honeymoon and our entire wedding album came shortly thereafter (much faster than we anticipated). The final product was more beautiful than anything we could have hoped for. She caught moments we forgot about, worked our angles like every bride hopes, and edited each photo with that special light that really stood out to me when I was doing my preliminary photography research. We would give her 10 stars if we could!

Willa photographed our wedding in April 2017. Every vendor we hired and person we mentioned Willa's name to had nothing but amazing things to say about her! After seeing Willa's website and speaking for her the first time I knew we had to hire her for our wedding. She has an infectious and positive energy, it is obvious she LOVES what she does. She was extremely flexible, letting us add an extra hour to our contracted time only a couple of weeks before the wedding. She helped us tailor our photo package within our budget. She met with us at our venue before the wedding. She answered all of our questions, replied to every email and phone call, made a schedule for the day, and made sure we had all of our details we wanted photographed with us on the day of the wedding. Willa has such a wonderful personality that will make you feel comfortable and beautiful. She takes her time but will keep your wedding party and family focused for photos. She captured every single important moment and every single important detail. When we received our photos a few weeks after the wedding we spent HOURS looking at them! I grew up in Santa Barbara and married by husband 3 weeks ago at El Presidio and El Paseo. We hired a mariachi band to escort us and our guests to the reception and it was the best day of our lives! Words cannot begin to describe how utterly blown away we are with Willa's photography. The most important aspect of the wedding to me was always the photographer because the day will go by in a flash and you will miss so many special moments and emotions.

Thanks to Willa, we were able to relive the entire day and will continue to do so for the rest of our lives. She didn't just take photos but she captured emotion, people, architecture and our love. The joy of flipping through her photos is hard to put into words. As the bride, there were so many moments during our big day that I completely missed and thanks to her, we can continue to relive the best day of our lives forever.

Not only is her work a league above the rest, but she is an absolute gem. She made my husband enjoy an engagement photoshoot that he wasn't totally thrilled about doing. Since we had already done the engagement shoot with Willa, the wedding day felt so calm and comfortable- we were pros by then! Willa is amazing to work with and we cannot speak enough praises about her work, creative style and lovely personality.

Hiring Willa as our wedding photographer is hands down one of the best decisions of our lives! I cannot say enough praise for Willa! Hiring Willa as our wedding photographer in Santa Barbara for our wedding last month was the best decision we could have made. Leading up to the wedding, I had one call with Willa to go over what we wanted in terms of different grouping for photos.. She was very flexible and also had so much experience that she could fill in the gaps of what photos she thought we would want. Then on the day of the wedding, Will and her assistant were SO MUCH FUN to work with - they were relaxed, professional and completely what we wanted for our wedding. By the end of the night, I felt like Willa was a friend who I had invited to our wedding because we felt that happy that she was there. And then we got back our photos and we were BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful they all were. She did a remarkable job with all aspects of the photos... We've received so many emails from people telling us how gorgeous the wedding photos are and we couldn't agree more. I'm submitting this review from a somewhat different perspective--as the mother of the bride. While the bride was also over-the-moon with the photos and Willa, she will post her own review. This one is from the mom! And I can't say enough about Willa. From our very first contact (which was inspired by her beautiful website), Willa was professional, responsive, friendly and fun. Since we didn't live in the area, most of our contact was by email--and Willa was accessible almost 24/7. She also met me at the venue on one of my few trips before the wedding, and discussed ideas and suggestions. When the wedding rolled around, Willa was on top of every detail--from the lists of family member groupings, to the timeline from start to finish. All this attests to her organizational and professional skills--but what mattered most was the amazing creativity and beauty of her pictures. She sent a slideshow link of photos set to the first dance song just days after the wedding that blew us all away. I have watched the slideshow more times than I want to admit, and forwarded it to family and friends. EVERYONE has raved and remarked that they are the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen. She captured the mood and spirit of the wedding, the love between our daughter and husband, and the sheer joy and elation of the event, from the ceremony through the dancing. While I know that the beauty of Willa's photos speak for themselves, I also cannot say enough good things about how great she was to work with. Willa was amazing. Not only were her photos all stunning, but she was very fun and easy to work with! She came early to the venues of the ceremony and reception, taking photos of the set-ups, took photos of the wedding party getting ready, including photos of me (the bride) getting my hair and make-up done while she was standing in our bathtub. She was always smiling and great at making everyone feel comfortable. She went in the limo with us to the ceremony venue and took great, fun photos of the wedding party. Her photos of the ceremony and post ceremony were absolutely gorgeous, and at the reception she stayed through the cake cutting, getting more stunning photos. Her slide show, put to music was perfect and easy to share with others. What more can we say? We loved Willa and her work!

I cannot recommend Willa Kveta enough. I didn't even meet her until an hour before my wedding, yet she's so personable (darling, really) that I felt like I was with another one of my sisters while she was clicking away at photos. And that's just the beginning... the quality of her photos is excellent and she created a slideshow that captured fully the joyful spirit of our wedding. We were amazed at the moments she caught that are absolutely priceless. Each time we look at our slideshow, we're right back there and over the moon with happiness. My family members have all commented accordingly. Willa is a gem in all respects and you would be foolish to even consider anyone else for any event.

It was such a pleasure to work with Willa. We found her through friends, whose weddings she also photographed. If you look at her website, you will see that she produces beautiful, high-quality images time after the time. Ours were no exception. I absolutely love our wedding pictures. They capture our special day perfectly. I really like Willa's photojournalistic style, in which she captures events as they occur as if she were telling a story. The result are soulful, heartwarming photos that might as well be in one of those wedding magazines! Willa also has a wonderful personality - she is very easy to work with and you instantly relax in front of her camera. Lastly, she delivers on schedule: shortly after the wedding, we received a lovely slideshow we could share with friends. In a couple weeks after that, all of our digital images arrived on a flash card in a nice leather case. (Apparently, not every photographer will give you the actual digital files, which is of course something you want). In short, if you are looking for a talented, experienced, easy-to-work-with photographer and magazine-quality photos, call Willa! I'm so glad I did.

Willa and her team captured some amazing moments so beautifully and artistically and we were thrilled with the images and spirit she captured from our wedding celebration! We received numerous complements from friends and family from the stunning slideshow that she created. My cousin said she showed the slideshow to her co-workers and they thought it was an ad for a lifestyle brand. Needless to say, Willa is professional, exceptionally easy to work with, and very responsive. She possess the unique combination of creativity and business savvy. We really enjoyed haviing Willa as our photographer. She was easy to work with, made us feel comfortable and did an amazing job at documenting our wedding. She was patient with us throughout the whole process and was amazingly responsive even in her busy season. The photo album she did for us looks great and she gives her clients the data to the pictures so that you can print off as many copies as you want.

Willa is absolutely wonderful across the board. She did such an amazing job and our photographs turned out even more fabulous than we could have imagined. Not a detail was missed, even ones we never would have thought of. And on top of that, she was a pleasure to work with as she's just a really nice person. She even sewed a button back onto my husband's tuxedo, a story that everyone gets a real kick out of. And she got a photo of it, too! Her assistants are great, as well, and made everything comfortable and just super fun. Everyone made us feel really special, which is how people should feel on their wedding day. We feel lucky that we were able to book Willa for our wedding and cannot recommend her strongly enough. If we ever have need of a photographer again she will be the one we use, no question about it. Willa was an absolute dream to work with! We were doing a lot of research on photographers and came across her website and fell in love with her work. We had a face to face meeting with her and from the moment we met her, we KNEW she was the perfect person to photograph our big day. The pricing was so reasonable for the quality of service we received. She was always so easy to get a hold of and super accommodating on everything that we wanted. On the day of our wedding, she was prompt and got right to work and never missed an important moment. She is an absolute pro- she knows exactly where to be to capture the best shot without making you feel like, well, there is a camera in your face every second. She is efficient and sticks to her timeline without making you feel stressed or rushed. Not to mention she has the kindest heart and makes you feel like an old friend right from the beginning. The amount of love and care she puts into every "job" is very obvious. All of our friends and family have been amazed by the quality and beauty of our photos. I keep hearing people say, "Wow, I'm so glad she captured that because I forgot that happened". It's so true when they say that your wedding day is a blur and we are so thankful to have had Willa there to capture the moments we missed. Willa took both my engagement and my wedding photos. I absolutely love all of my pictures and Willa! She is the BEST decision you could make for you special occasion. She is such a sweet person that she instantly makes you feel like an old friend and puts you at ease in front of the camera. She is truly a master of her craft. I love how she find unique poses to put you in and she is especially great at capturing the candid moments, which are some of my favorites. Her photos come out gorgeous, and something my husband and I can cherish for a lifetime. She is very easy to communicate with leading up to all events and keeping you updated on when your photos will be ready. It was a pleasure to work with Willa! From the very beginning she was professional, patient, flexible, and kind. She was quick to respond to communication, both before and after our wedding date. Her photos of our wedding ceremony, reception, family, wedding party, and the bride and groom are all excellent and better than what we had hoped for. Her years of experience and training at one of the best schools of photography cannot be matched. Willa was organized and really helped us to remain calm on the wedding day. Willa was a dream to work with. When I met her I knew we just clicked and she would be the perfect photographer to capture our dream wedding, and she was! We spoke before the big day and talked about what I wanted her to focus on and the overall casual, sweet, party vibe we were trying to capture at our 300 guest wedding. We wanted the photos to capture the party vibe, but also the love and smiles of all our friends and loved ones. Willa perfectly captured all of the events of our big day from the girls getting ready, the ceremony, family shots, couple shots and reception shots. OMG, I LOVE Willa!!!!!!!!!! I could not imagine having any other photographer with me on my wedding day. I interviewed around 10 different photographers, I'm pretty picky - can you tell? :). From the second Willa got on the phone with me, I could tell she was the perfect fit. Not only was she super nice, laid back, easy to work with and talk to...her photographs are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

My now husband and I are not great and taking pictures so we weren't sure how our engagement photos would turn out. Our entire session was so relaxed, fun, silly, happy and it felt more like we were hanging out with our bff Willa than taking our engagement pics. The wedding was no different. She was on time, professional, super sweet and not intrusive at all. She kept our timeline running smoothly so we weren't late for anything. At the ceremony, I didn't even know she was there and my guests said the same thing.

Our favorite quote from Willa was, "One more shot..." because no matter how many spectacular pictures she took, she was always looking for that one more gorgeous moment of light to go above and beyond to snap the perfect picture. Every picture was so well thought out, creative and precise.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found her and are excited to work with her again on a maternity shoot perhaps or some family photos. Anyone looking for a photographer in the Santa Barbara area would be so lucky to have her!!!!

First of all, I loved working with Willa. If you are reading this you are probably planning a wedding and you understand the value of professional, warm and flexible vendors. They are priceless. There are a lot of photographers out there, and they are not all created equal. I saw Willa's work on a couple of websites while I was searching for other wedding items. I found her pictures told a story, the couples looked natural, her lighting and exposure were perfect and the shots really captured the essence of the event.
I was planning our wedding on a conservative budget and was worried that she would be out of my price point. However, in her initials conversation with me, she was incredibly gracious about my budget and more than willing to work with me on packages so that I could stay in my price point while also providing me with the pictures and time that I needed for the wedding. Willa was awesome. She was easy to contact before the wedding, which is huge. She and her assistant were AMAZING on the day of. They were on time, unobtrusive, funny and positive. We loved her style, creativity, sense of humor and professionalism. We are so happy with the way our wedding day turned out and how easy Willa and her assistant were to work with.

We were thrilled with the photos that Willa took on our wedding day. She was recommended by our florist, which we thought was significant because the florist had a very artistic eye and creative flair. Willa was very friendly on the phone and met us at the Santa Barbara Courthouse to show us some of her work and her favourite backdrops there. She also had previous experience at our venue, the Canary, which we thought was important. We had a small mid-week wedding and Willa had several packages and pricing options for us to choose from. She was responsive and flexible thought out. On the day she was on time, calm and somehow made the whole thing relaxed, even for the groom and guys which was impressive! The photos themselves are great. We loved the natural style of her photos, not too stiff and posed as some are. Everyone has commented on how great they are. She had the slide show ready within a couple of weeks of the wedding, and a flash drive in the mail and Youtube clip soon after. I managed to corrupt the flash drive and she had another on the way immediately. We would definitely recommend Willa based upon our experience with her and the results we got.

I met with Willa on a referral, with no idea of what to expect from a wedding photographer. Willa spent an hour with us, explaining the process, her style and what to expect on the day. She spent time getting to know us, our wedding plans and the types of images we wanted to capture. I instantly liked her portfolio, lots of laughter, nothing looked "staged" or awkward. Our big day was perfect! Willa and her assistant (Anna) were unobtrusive during the ceremony and yet got all the group pics done quickly and efficiently. Willa was amazing to work with. I do not live in California and was not familiar with Santa Barbara, where we were getting married, and Willa almost served as a wedding planner in addition to our photographer. She helped me pick where to eat, what to take our friends and family to do, what to see, etc. She was so flexible about everything from what exactly we needed in our package to when we were going to have photos taken (thanks to a delayed flight). At the actual shoot, she was professional but also very fun. She helped my husband and I to relax and feel comfortable. She was creative but also made sure we were taking pictures that reflected us as a couple. She took our engagement photos, and then two of her associates shot the actual wedding. Her associates were amazing as well. They made sure to capture all of the magical moments of that day. My husband and I, after our wedding, kept saying that we weren't sure how photos were going to capture the beauty of everything on our wedding day, but the photographers managed to do just that. I could not recommend Willa Kveta more highly.

Willa is so talented!!! She can take pictures anywhere and make them look AMAZING!! I was lucky to have seen her in action as a bridesmaid at my friends wedding and when I saw her work I was in awww so it was a no brainer when I got engaged. She did our engagement photos and was so open to my ideas including our Dia De Los Muertos shoot!! I just got all my wedding day photos and I'm so happy!! Willa was beyond amazing at capturing our private wedding and our reception party that followed. At first I was very hesitant at having a photographer. I wanted a no-fuss, simple wedding and figured everyone has iPhones these days, so of course there would be pictures. I am so happy we decided to give it a go. Every single picture she took came out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it would. Willa took amazing, beautiful photos. Our day was beautifully and perfectly photo-documented. We have gotten a ton of compliments on our photos. There are so many things I love about the pictures. Willa Kveta is superb. I searched for many weeks to find the right photographer; I discovered Willa online initially, then received a recommendation for Willa from a former photography instructor at SBCC. It looked promising, but who could really know? Yet the moment my partner and I sat down with Willa to look over some albums and discuss our needs, we knew we wanted Willa to capture our wedding. She captures light, emotion, and color in the best ways I've seen. She's also incredibly nice and very open. I feel deeply moved when I look at her photography, and aesthetically I'm deeply jealous of someone who can do what she does. We had a phenomenal engagement session (something I initially resisted then decided was a good way to get to know Willa better and take some pretty pictures) on a wonderfully cloudy/rainy day. My partner and I opted to have Willa bring a second shooter for our very small wedding, which could be considered an odd choice, but we wanted an intimate, comprehensive collection of photos for our wedding. (We didn't want a videographer, so having more photos was also important.) Willa and her second shooter were phenomenal. They captured our wedding enormously well, not to mention beautifully. Willa has a great eye for light, angles, and framing that astound me. We wanted not only a professional but also an artist; she gave us that, and more.

It was really great to work with Willa. She was so friendly and warm, which made it so much easier to take photos. Also, doing the engagement session prior really made the day of so great. The wedding day ran so smooth, Willa arrived on time and throughout the whole wedding she was in the background, yet got all the great photos that I wanted. I love all the creative shots that she took. In addition, I received so many compliments from people after we posted our pictures that it was overwhelming! I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married, she truly did an amazing job!

Willa was amazing! She was so warm and professional and clearly enjoys her work! I've been in so many weddings where the photographer seems bossy or bored, and Willa was so much fun and really seemed to enjoy getting to know our wedding party! She did an amazing job, and I'm so thankful that even though our day went by so quickly, we'll have beautiful, candid photos to treasure forever. I am a wedding videographer myself and have worked alongside many photographers and I can say with certainty that Willa is one of the BEST I've seen. Her professionalism, stylistic approach and the way she puts people at ease is impressive. We had a slideshow with some of the best pictures sent to us within a couple weeks. Willa was absolutely AMAZING!!! She is professional, warm, and just an overall talented photographer. Willa helped us from the get go with a timeline and had great suggestions every step of the way that ensured everything running smoothly. She was able to get incredible shots and was never intrusive - at times we hardly even noticed she was there. The shots came out so natural looking and not at all posed. We couldn't be happier with how our pictures came out and will always have them to transport us back to our special day. I highly highly recommend using Willa for your wedding photos. You will be more than satisfied and we received so many compliments from family and friends on how beautiful they turned out!

Aces across! Amazing photographer, extremely professional, and wonderful across the board. She takes wonderful shots and truly knows how to incorporate the surroundings. She even stayed half-an-hour longer free of charge! An absolute no-brainer especially if you need a wedding photographer. Worth every penny!

Willa and her team were absolutely wonderful! Willa was extremely helpful and super responsive from the start. She gave us great suggestions for developing a timeline for our day, photo locations, photo groupings, etc. Whatever we asked, she was ready with answers. Her team was also amazing and fun to work with. We felt so comfortable and were definitely put at ease! They worked tirelessly to get the best shots and angles. They were also so nice and friendly. Most importantly, our photos are breathtakingly beautiful! Everyone who s seen them has commented on how gorgeous the photos are. Willa and her photographers are fantastic and are highly recommended.

We had the smallest of weddings – just the two of us and two friends as witnesses. We booked Willa for just one hour, but she still gave our wedding her utmost, arriving at the Santa Barbara Courthouse before us, greeting us with a warm smile and discretely taking hundreds of photos throughout the ceremony so we hardly knew she was there.

Afterward, we all felt so relaxed with her that it seemed like a bit of a party as she took shots of us around the grounds. By the end of the day we were watching her beautiful slide show with tears in our eyes – a reaction of so many of our friends and relatives ever since.

We felt as comfortable with her as we would a good friend. But the way she treated us and the images she left us with showed us what a fine professional she truly is. We will be forever grateful for the gift she gave us.

What first drew us to Willa was the beautiful work on her website. And after meeting her, it all made sense. Of course she would be the bright, talented, fun, warm, and professional person that she is. Willa and her associate photographed our wedding and we couldn't be happier. They are masters of their craft and the best people to have on board, calm at all times and very hard working. You will see them climbing this, scaling that, crouching, lying down, all for the best shot. Your slideshow and images will blow you away and they will of course arrive promptly (which we understand is not always the case with wedding photographers). We sent the slideshow to some of our friends who couldn't make the wedding and a common reaction has been awe and tears of joy. Willa's photos are not just exquisite, they capture the emotions.

My wife and I highly recommend Willa Kveta as a wedding photographer! She was exceptionally professional, talented, creative, flexible and fun to be with. Willa worked with us by picking gorgeous venues for backdrops after our ceremony (Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens, Music Academy of the West, Butterfly Beach, etc...) and she ensured that we made it to each one and got fantastic photos! Willa selected outstanding photos for our albums and provided them to us electronically and on discs. She created an amazing slideshow that we were able to share with family around the globe! We were generally happy with the vendors at our wedding but incredibly happy with Willa!

I had originally met Willa at my friends wedding back in April. I was so impressed with her and her assistant that it wasn't even a question for me to not have her at my wedding in August.

I can't even begin to express in words how great of a photographer Willa is, she is simply AMAZING!! From the first meeting to the day of the wedding she was perfect. Everything about Willa was above and beyond our expectations throughout our wedding planning process. Willa was kind enough to travel 2 hours away from Santa Barbara to do our engagement session at the place we had our first date and was knowledgeable and enthusiastic througout the entire shoot. These photos were delivered promptly and came out gorgeous. So when our wedding arrived and Willa and her staff again delivered impeccable service, beautiful photos, and overall amazing organization, we could not have been happier. Every time we look at our photos or talk about our wedding to anyone, our first comment is always, "We had the BEST photographer!"

Willa Kveta is an artist. She captured the rustic elegance of our casual wine-country barbeque.

Quality of Service – Willa offers several packages, but customized a package to suit our needs and budget. Regarding image quality, just review her stellar portfolio. Enough said.

Responsiveness – Willa has a strong team of associates, so there was no doubt that Willa or one of her associates would be available. (Our engagement was four months. Time was of the essence.)
Willa was always available via phone, and rapidly responded to our emails. In fact, she often initiated correspondence.

Professionalism – Willa was appropriately dressed in neat, black, professional-casual attire. She arrived on-time and took photos of the location and scenery while she waited for us (the groom, really) to arrive. Not a minute of photo-time was wasted. Also, this bride LOATHES having her picture taken, but had GREAT FUN with Willa and her lens!

Value – As mentioned above, Willa customized a package for us. The entire digital album was included in our package - no need to pick and choose! 6 hours yielded approx. 845 photos (and we were not rushing). We certainly got the biggest bang for our buck.

Flexibility – Willa met us at a separate location for some off-site photos a few hours prior to our event. She then drove 10 miles to our wedding location. We cannot express how much we appreciate her flexibility, as these pre-event photos are most of our favorites.

Willa, I wish we could get married over and over so we could hire you again!

The most important thing to a couple is to remember how beautiful the most monumental moment of your life will be. Well, Willa’s artistry and vision captured how truly beautiful and special our wedding was. A picture is worth a thousand words, but working with her was worth millions.

The first time we met Willa, we felt as though we met a friend with whom we had known for years. She was so sweet and down to earth. It was refreshing to meet someone who held your interests with high regard instead of their own. She presented ideas and answered our questions with HONESTY and UNDERSTANDING. We walked away from our meeting knowing that we could rely and trust her to handle our wedding.

While we were away on our honeymoon, she surprised us a slide show which entailed some of her favorites from our day. We were able to have a little preview of our day before all of our images were ready. In which, I must say, added to our desire to have our images that must more. We have to admit that we still watch it to this day.

When we received our 1600 images, her turnaround time was six weeks. We were completely blown away. We never thought that it would have been completed in this short period of time. We couldn’t have been more thrilled.
She is artistic, patient, and a true professional. Nevertheless, Willa was the light at the end of our tunnel. She really understands the intricacies of wedding photography, and for that we are grateful. We are so very blessed to have found Willa for she is the most wonderful, amazing, talented, kind, and organized woman- A true kindred spirit.

Anyone who is unsure or haven’t found that special person, please consider Willa. She has a natural way of making your feel comfortable, special, and holds you to the true gem that you are. Willa, thank you, and Jackie (her assistant) for “telling our story” for no one could have told it better. Your beautiful images will last forever in our hearts, minds and our walls. When If found Willa, I thought that I had found an amazing photographer but it turns out I also found a friend! Willa is down to earth, friendly, flexible, and professional. She not only takes beautiful photographs but she truly cares about your event! She is detail oriented and thinks of all the things you (the bride) would never think of! Willa is AMAZING!!! I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was to have Willa as our wedding photographer. Being an extremely picky bride, Willa put my worries to ease from the very beginning. She makes you feel so comfortable and the pictures come out stunning.

Willa completely captured the sentiment of our entire day. When my husband and I look at our photos, I remember exactly how I felt that day and in those moments. She does a fantastic job of capturing both portrait and candid shots and no detail is left unnoticed.

Willa is fantastic! We found her totally by chance from a hotel list of suggested photographers. We checked out the websites of all of them and Willa's stood out by far. We met with her on our visit to Santa Barbara (we had a destination wedding for 90 since we have a lot of family there) and hired her on the spot. She inspired great confidence and put us at ease immediately. There was clearly no need to look further. We got married at Trinity Episcopal Church and took pre-wedding pictures at Alice Keck Park. There were people everywhere including other wedding photographers, but looking at the photos you would have thought we were the only people there. The various backdrops are beautiful and her constant movement kept it feeling natural and fun and the pictures reflect that. It felt like the time doing the pre pictures and the immediate post family pictures were the last times we remember even seeing Willa. She was never obtrusive, but captured everything. We were impressed by both the artistry and the straight recording of our very special day. We'd recommend her without hesitation.

Willa is amazing! We had a photographer up until 4 months prior to our wedding and she was able to not only schedule us for our wedding date, but she was able to be there herself. I like that she has her own package, but you can get an associates package that fits in your budget and if she is available to work your wedding that day, she will come herself with an associate! When I first met her, she was upbeat, bubbly, and very personable. She gave us pictures and styles we had asked for. Especially, since my husband was very insistant to have sunrays involved in our pictures. She gave us them all! The other part I loved about her work was that, I didn't see her the entire wedding, but she captured every moment we had shared that day, plus more! Great Service, Responsiveness, Professionalism, Value, Flexibility, but most of all, great pictures!

My husband and I got married in Santa Barbara in June and absolutely LOVED working with Willa! She (coincidentally) came highly recommended from a friend of mine so I knew we were going to end up with an amazing selection of photos from our big day. Not only did Willa work incredibly hard to capture all of our special moments, but she also delivered our slideshow a week after our wedding, and all of the photos a couple of weeks after that. Willa Kveta was wonderful to work with. She responded so quickly to emails and phone calls, which was very important since I was planning my wedding from out of state. She was incredibly professional, fun to work with, and her photography is beyond what we could have hoped!

At least at the time of our wedding, if you couldn't afford her rates, you could get an associates package and she'd will work with you on everything except the actual wedding day. However, if she didn't have another wedding booked that day, she'd shoot your wedding for the cost of her associates. That is what ended up happening for us and we are so pleased.

Willa worked with us so well. We wanted a photographer who could capture our quirky personalities, but also catch the solemn and special moments, as well as family portraits. She and her assistant did all of these things and we have received nothing but compliments from family and friends regarding the photos. I highly recommend Willa Kveta Photography for anyone! Plus, she travels!

I originally met Willa at a bridal show in Santa Barbara. Right away I liked her attitude and her passion for photography. I had a small wedding and I only wanted a photographer for 2 hours. Willa totally worked with me on scheduling and cost and the photos were AMAZING! Many people have asked me how many photographers I had after viewing our photos because of all the different angles and beautiful shots. I reply...just one, Willa Kveta, and she was fabulous!

Willa Kveta Photography was the only photographer we wanted to do our wedding after we saw the booth and the albums at the SB Bridal Expo. Willa worked with our budget and created a package that fit our needs. We received several emails going over the details which made us feel confident that everything was being taken care of and that our wedding day would be special in the photographer's eyes as well. On the day of Jacqueline, Willa's associate, was our lead photographer and she did a great job. We loved all of her fun ideas and she worked so well with our time frame. Everyone knows how important photography is when it comes to having a special occasion in your life.

My husband and I had the privilege (and I do mean privilege) of working with Willa and her team.

Upon getting engaged last year we had our engagement photos done with Willa. They turned out absolutely stunning! She knows how to work with people and how to make them feel comfortable.

When it came to our wedding day she was so comforting and extremely organized. I remember thinking at the end of the night; I never even remember seeing her. She blends in and still managed to deliver to us over 1200 photos.

She surprised us even more when she put together a slide show and submitted our wedding on a National Wedding Blog within a week of our wedding.

We just received all our photos and couldn't be more thrilled. Her total turnaround time was three weeks, I have never heard of photography (especially wedding photography) being completed in this short period of time.

I highly recommend Willa and her team. You will be so pleased with the level of service and the quality of the photographs when you receive them.

This is a groom speaking; being an advanced amateur photographer (I know enough to know just how bad I am), I was really picky and particular about getting a great wedding photographer. I'm so glad we found Willa; we couldn't recommend her high enough. Our original photographer flaked on us two months before the wedding, and I can definitely say I'm glad he did, because if he hadn't, we never would had the opportunity to work with Willa.

From the get-go, she was quite flexible, accommodating, and charming; we could tell that we'd love to work with her. She even advised us where we could save money, which was a refreshing change from the usual game of avoiding the up-sell.

Day of the wedding, Willa and her associate were everywhere and nowhere at the same time - everywhere making photos, but never in the way. She had great ideas for photos too, but was so accommodating and listened to our ideas for photos, She also knew our location well (the Santa Barbara Zoo), which meant that she knew where we should be to get all the great shots.

And they are GREAT photos. I don't know how she does it, but the photos she made are absolutely gorgeous. Detailed and smooth and glowy and full of character all at the same time. She made us look SO good. Two words of advise: put your trust in her to pose you and to do non-traditional photos and feel free to just be yourself around her: she'll make you look amazing.

I don't think that there is a better photographer in Santa Barbara! Willa did an excellent job on our wedding and we liked her personality a lot too! I think this is important because you are with your photographer all day and it wouldn't be fun if you didn't get along with them. We got our pictures right away and I like that the digital files are all included in the packages. It was great because it made it easy for me to make prints for all if my family for Christmas presents.

I met Willa for the first time on my wedding day because I had to plan everything from England where we live. It was so hard to plan a wedding from such a distance but I am beyond grateful to Willa for all of her help along the way. She even helped us with some of the finer details by going to a few locations and taking pictures ahead of time so that we knew what to expect. It took 9 months of hard work to plan my wedding! I found Willa Kveta about 4 months in and then everything started to click after that! She really helped me out with the timing of the day and even recommended some other great vendors. I was really happy with their photography and our pictures are incredible! The thing that made her over the top incredible was how she was always there for me during the planning process and any time I had a question, she was so quick to respond and always so helpful. I chose not to have a wedding planner because I have a lot of event planning experience myself, but Willa really helped me with so many details that I might have overlooked because she is just so experienced and knows how weddings should flow, which was a Godsend!

Willa Kveta is such a creative photographer and so talented! All of our images look so amazing and my friends think I should submit them to magazines, they are so good. I really took a long time looking for the right photographer and Willa's work just stood out to me and then once we met with her, we both knew right away that she was the perfect fit for us! All I can say is that we are truly happy with everything and feel like Willa was our best choice for our wedding out of all of our vendors. She was fun and easy to work with and kept us laughing through our photos! Such a great photographer and person!

I really enjoyed working with Willa, and our photos turned out beautifully. I felt really comfortable with her, and her friendly personality was a big help during the photo sessions with the wedding party and our families. We were really happy with the quality of the images and the selection of shots we ended up with, and I would highly recommend her.

Willa is great! She really works with your "style" rather than forcing you to do something you may not like. Always friendly, super reachable and down to earth make her so easy to work with! The pictures came out wonderful :)

Willa was an unbelievable photographer. I had her take photos of both my rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception and she was consistently professional yet had this amazing way of putting everyone at ease. This natural ability with people allowed her to take some of the best photos of everyone in my wedding. Friends I show my wedding photos too are constantly asking who my photographer was because the pictures look that great! Not only does Willa have an amazing eye but she is able to make every picture look as natural as can be. I cannot sing her praises enough!!!

I would highly recommend Willa Kveta for any bride who wants to relax and enjoy her event without worrying about photography details. I know 5/5 stars is a big score but I honestly cannot think of anything I would have had Willa do differently. I planned a wedding in Santa Barbara from Denver. It was important to me that Willa do a lot of planning where I could not because I was arriving to my own ceremony site unseen. And I did not want to do anything but get married and have fun! Willa did a lot of legwork and preparation to make sure things flowed smoothly. She was gracious, even when taking charge, and very efficient with her timing. Her artistic nature and creative photography meant that I didn't have to tell her what photos to take and what scenes to create, she did all that for me. I showed up, did what she said and the result is an unbelievably gorgeous album that displayed every guest, every emotion and a ton of beautiful candid moments we will cherish forever.
