Willa and her team truly made our dream wedding come to life. From our initial call to the final minutes of our wedding night, Willa was attentive, thoughtful, and intentional. Our initial call with her was super confidence-inspiring as she asked us how we envisioned our wedding and what was important to us. She made all of our wishes come true and was flexible with her time, and worked within our budget every step of the way. She has a phenomenal group of vendors she works with and has an amazing eye. We truly can't thank Willa enough for bringing all of our visions to life for our special day! We started working with her and her team about 18 months out from the wedding, and, from day 1 until our wedding day, she was there for us every moment along the way, whether it was helping us tour wedding venues in Southern California, meeting us at a warehouse to select furniture rentals, or making sure every single minute detail was accounted for on the day of. With our busy schedules, she was always so flexible and accommodating with her time, and we truly appreciated it.
Her eye for design and ability to translate our visions into reality is nothing short of incredible. My wife and I met on a dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel, and wanted to incorporate a coffee into our overall theme, and she was able to bring that to life with a beautiful letterboard coffee shop menu for our seating chart, along with other beautiful paper goods that played into the overall theme.
We loved getting to connect with her (and her dog Walter!) on Zoom throughout the process and she always made the conversations and process enjoyable, and the next steps felt seamless. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smooth and we didn't miss a beat thanks to her flawlessly coordinating with all of our vendors and the venue coordinator.
We truly couldn't have picked a better wedding planner and already miss working with Willa! 10/10 recommend Wild Heights if you're looking for the right person to bring all of your dream wedding visions to life! -

Great for bespoke wedding design/planning
We strongly recommend Wild Heights for wedding planning and design services. Willa was absolutely terrific, providing premium-level service at a cost we were comfortable with. We hired her after booking our venue/caterer, The William Vale in Brooklyn, and she assisted with vendor sourcing, comprehensive planning, design, and day-of coordination. We later added coverage for our rehearsal dinner and post-wedding event, which proved invaluable. Willa was clear about her services upfront and flexible with the contract, allowing us to tailor it to our needs.
Willa immediately understood our “Scandinavian Michelin star restaurant” theme and excelled at bringing our vision to life, consistent with our modern, clean style. She designed stunning, personalized invitations and day-of paper goods that truly reflected us. Her creative problem-solving with florals and a complicated reception installation was exceptional, providing cost-effective solutions that maintained our aesthetic. She also created a cool concept for checking in guests at the reception with hosts as if it were a restaurant.
We truly enjoyed working with Willa over 15 months, and looked forward to our bi-weekly meetings and calls. She navigated venue staff turnover, reassured us whenever we were stressed about things, and was patient despite us being too particular. On the wedding day, everything felt controlled and smooth. She remained calm, professional, and patient, handling guest allergies and a family medical emergency with grace.
Wild Heights is perfect for couples seeking excellent weddings, especially in NYC, upstate/Catskills, or potentially SoCal, particularly those who value design and creative input. She works well with couples looking to be in between being involved in every detail and fully handing over planning to her, and are comfortable developing their vision and plan organically (rather than relying on a preset comprehensive wedding planning checklist). Willa's advice and expertise on vendor sourcing and what aspects of the wedding were worth the budget was extremely helpful. -

We worked with Willa for the 15 months leading up to our wedding, and I can absolutely say that we wouldn’t have been able to do it without her! Words will not do justice to just how amazing Willa and the Wild Heights Team were for our wedding. My husband and I have crazy work schedules and needed help with each and every aspect of planning our wedding. From our very first Zoom meeting with Willa introducing us to the wedding planning process, touring venues (that somehow all felt like they were made for us), choosing the menu, the florals and other decor and even down to the very last detail (subtle and perfect embossed initials on our menus) Willa and her team were there every step of the way. The result was that we never worried about a thing! Willa found the most perfect vendors for us (we didn’t have a clue) and the whole experience was incredible. When I said I wanted to incorporate hiking into our wedding in the most aesthetically pleasing way possible, Willa and her team put together the seating chart of our dreams. In addition, it poured during our entire wedding day and the Wild Heights Team (including the wonderful Carly and Caroline) didn’t skip a beat - they had not one, but two back up plans (depending on the direction of the rain) and the ceremony and reception were so smooth you would never have known it wasn’t our original plan. I can’t imagine even trying to get through the planning process without a planner, but Willa and her team became more than that for us. After our wedding we missed so much our weekly calls I found myself wishing we had another event soon just so we could use the team again. If you’re wondering whether you need a planner and if Wild Heights is the team - you do and they are!!! -

Willa helped bring our wedding vision to life!! She has a great design eye and vocabulary, which was very helpful when I lacked that. She had an amazing sense of what would go together to create a cohesive look, and she captured our desired aesthetic perfectly. We received so many compliments on our aesthetic and on the details she worked on us with, from our menus to our ceremony programs to our florals and signage. Her work gave our wedding a more elevated look. She also did a great job handing off our wedding logistics to a coordinator from Wild Heights who killed it the the day of our wedding! Bottom line: Hiring Wild Heights was the best decision and working with Willa was a dream. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Long story: We hired WHE for our January 2024 wedding, and when we first met Willa, we were torn between having a summer wedding in upstate NY and a winter wedding in Boston (very different visions!). She coordinated and held our hand through multiple site visits in both places, mapped out pros and cons for us and made the whole thing easy, despite how intimidating it felt before meeting Willa. Once we landed on a venue, Wild Heights handled the hiring and coordination of all of our vendors, always presenting multiple options according to our specific requirements and patiently and professionally guiding us through the process. With so many moving pieces, I cannot imagine doing this again without Willa. She was respectful of our budget and transparent every step of the way so we were relaxed and excited during the planning process. At the wedding, she took care of everything so we were able to fully enjoy and she even came to the rescue when the one vendor we had booked on our own screwed us over at the last minute. Seriously, we had the dream team and wedding weekend and owe that to Willa and Wild Heights. -

Willa gave us our absolute dream wedding and so much more.
She was the first vendor we hired and we feel so lucky to have had her expert guidance, seasoned logistical expertise and creative eye for design throughout our wedding planning journey.
From the start, Willa thoughtfully helped us hire all the vendors we needed for our wedding. She knows some of the best in the biz and her referrals saved us hours and hours of research. Whether it was setting up calls, reviewing contracts, attending walkthroughs — she was there every step of the way.
Of course she managed all our logistics, timeline and details while keeping us organized. We can honestly say we enjoyed wedding planning because of the process she created for us — making us feel heard, gracefully navigating our prioritizes, and being there for any unforeseen hiccups along the way. Not to mention, the countless personalized details she designed and handcrafted for us that made our wedding feel so special and like a true reflection of us.

The Best Wedding Decision we Made!!
Willa was a dream to work with from start to finish. My husband and I found her to be calm, professional, knowledgable, and oh-so-talented. Best team we could've asked for
Willa and her team were fantastic to work with from Day 1 to Wedding Day. They are creative, flexible, experienced, thoughtful, and fun. When we had ideas that we thought were crazy, they were open minded and set on bringing them to life. Well, as they say, wedding planning can be stressful. In our case there was family pressure, sometimes less than ideal vendor circumstances, and the general overwhelm of wanting such a special day to be a success. Willa and her team served as our constant and support in the face of all of this. Truly, I do think I may have completely lost it without Wild Heights. Willa is human, attentive to your needs, realistic with expectations, creative, able to scenario plan quickly, and truly brings a sense of calm that was much needed. I know how much I benefitted from my time with her in the year leading up to the wedding, but to see what she and her team created on the day of (and to also see our families sing her praise) blew me away. I'm not someone that has dreamed about my wedding all of my life and while I was excited about the day I figured it would be lovely and simply a nice event. It was one of the best days of mine and my husband's life and so much of that is due to the work that Willa and her team put in to make sure that we were happy. Every detail was considered and it felt really good to trust that if she has to make a decision on our behalf that she got us and would do what was in our best interest.

We don't have enough kind words to explain our process with Willa. First of all, I don't know how we could've planned our wedding (and enjoyed every second of it) without a planner. Knowing that the details were happening in the background while we could enjoy our engagement period and our wedding day was a treat we will never get over. Additionally, our wedding day was an absolute dream. As a creative couple, the design and experience were so important to us, and Willa and her team KNOCKED it out of the park. We walked in our venue feeling like we were in a dream – with not one worry on our minds. Her expert advice from start to finish made us feel so confident with the whole process. Okay Wild Heights is truly the most incredible wedding planning and design firm in the game. Within the week after our wedding, one of my friends Willa for her wedding next fall. Willa is the best wedding planner/designer that we could have asked for! Her tremendous skill, effort and great network of vendors really made it feel so easy for us to have the perfect wedding that we envisioned. From aesthetics, to planning/coordinating our vendors, to creating and building actual pieces for our wedding, she really covered it all. She listened to us about all the things we wanted, and with her experience, was able to give us direction in the areas we needed guidance. I appreciate that we were able to be intentional about every aspect of our plans and it read through on the day of our wedding. She put together an incredible team of vendors to deliver the most beautiful wedding that I could have dreamt of, a combination of urban, tropical, and minimal, allowing each element of our planning to shine.
On the day of our wedding, Willa and her assistant were on site and took care of everything! And even if we had an idea of how great everything would look, we were still blown away at how amazing it all came together. Willa and her team were able to make a completely empty space look so, so, so fabulous!! During our wedding we didn’t have to worry about anything. I’m sure like with all events, there were some small hiccups, but with Willa’s team there, any issues were resolved on the spot, to the point that we and our guests didn’t even notice it. When our late night pizza order fell through, Willa was still able to get all of our guests the pizza we wanted. One of our frozen drink machines broke, and the very next day called to let the vendor know so that we could be refunded.
We had such a fun and memorable time working with Willa. Even with the pandemic and all the uncertainty, she was so understanding and helped us so much. Our day was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for more. She’s a true professional and expert at what she does, and I would recommend Willa and Wild Heights Events to anyone who is looking for a wedding designer/planner/coordinator.

Willa was the most amazing planner and easy to work with; she has a been so positive and flexible throughout the entire wedding planning process, during a pandemic! I started off with 150 guests and had to change everything completely. She redesigned my entire day and tailored it to our personal interests, creating an intimate affair, that all 18 people are still talking about today. She worked out every detail, so I had nothing to worry about but memorizing my vows. We were dealt a lot of changes from the vendors, super last minute and she creatively and brilliantly thought on her feet and turned a threatening disaster, into a fairy tale wedding. In the end, we rented 4wd vehicles in Colorado and transported everyone to 11,000 ft. Where we had our ceremony cliffside for some epic pictures. We had the cutest, camping wine glasses designed for us to have a champagne toast on top of the mountain. Then all guests were treated to a jeep tour on the way back to town. We finished out the evening with dinner on a rooftop. I was in tears when I thought I was going to have to cancel my wedding because of COVID. Willa did an amazing job to pull off a small COVID approved wedding, that kept everyone safe and abided by all the state rules(that kept changing!). We can not thank her enough for her creativity, flexibility, and professionalism! -

We are so grateful to have worked with Willa through our wedding planning journey! My husband and I were overwhelmed at the process of planning a wedding in New York City and as soon as we hired Willa we breathed a sigh of relief. Willa guided us in choosing vendors and helped to create a beautiful, special event… that due to covid we had to cancel two weeks prior to our big day!!! Cue the panic, except, not… because we had Willa. Despite the amount of stress, confusion, and uncertainty that comes with rescheduling during covid times, we were so lucky to have Willa’s support as we rescheduled, downsized, and ultimately held a backyard microwedding in Connecticut. Words cannot describe the magic that is Willa. To begin with, Willa is an artist. She is a graphic designer, a florist, a ceramicist, a calligrapher and everything in between. We hired Willa for a full planning package and day of coordination and could not more recommend her more. Willa designed our invitations, she handmade the candlesticks for our wedding tables, designed and created our floral
arrangements AND guided us through the planning process and day of wedding experience. She was always available to chat with us and kept us organized and accountable to the process.
Willa is kind and thoughtful and 100 percent invested in her clients- you could not ask for a more personable and enjoyable professional with whom to plan your big day.
In addition, we were pleased, although not surprised, to learn that Willa has an excellent reputation in the wedding industry. She is well known by other boutique wedding industry professionals in New York City and the Catskills and she uses these stellar professional relationships to help her clients in whatever ways they need. She connected us with an amazing hair and makeup professional for our wedding. When our venue had an issue with its sound system the NIGHT BEFORE OUR WEDDING, Willa was able to find us last minute (and I mean last minute) party speakers to be delivered and picked up from our venue for a VERY good price. She saved the music and thus, our wedding.

Willa is the behind the scenes angel you need, hire her, you won't be sorry. Sitting down to write this review was hard. It's really hard to pinpoint where Willa shined on our wedding day and throughout the process because she went above and beyond from the very first day we met her -- a year out from our wedding. She was instrumental in the planning process, acting as our point person for vendors on and offsite as we worked to plan a wedding out of state (we got married in NY, and live in Denver, CO). You don't know what you don't know -- and she knew it all. Not sure how many tables to rent, do you need a heater, what about shuttles? These were all details we had no idea where to start, and Willa came to the rescue tying every detail for our day in a nicely tied bow and saved us a ton of money I might add!! She knows what you need and what you don't -- she knows how to take your vision and budget and make it work for you. I don't know about all wedding coordinators, but I do know Willa. Get yourself a Willa! She gave me the freedom and confidence to enjoy my day from day one -- I knew our wedding day was in good hands. Every single one of our vendors came up to us to let us know how awesome she was, and I can't tell you how many wedding guests came up to my husband and me to tell us how Willa had made their day. My husband and I had a hunch from our first conversation with Willa that working with her could be something totally special. After interviewing several planners, we ultimately went forward with Willa and we couldn't be happier. Our wedding was in upstate NY, and we were drawn by both Willa's familiarity with the area - she knew the town we got married in! - and by her accessibility in Brooklyn where we live and work. From day one, she was very attentive and immediately got a sense of what our tastes were, and was able to help hone our vision and give us suggestions that best fit both our wedding environment and our sensibilities. The planning for us was stressful given it was pretty DIY, but every time we spoke with her and got updates we were put at ease. Willa was always enthusiastic, and she's very responsive to any and all questions you may have about the process. She adjusted to some last minute changes we had to make nicely, and was great in wrangling the many helping hands that swooped down on us in the final days and hours before the big event. She has vision, creativity, and she's great at really assessing the big picture. Willa and her team were amazing to work with and we'd highly recommend working with her, whether your event is upstate or local to NYC. -

The Wild Heights team went above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely perfect. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we hands down know a huge part of that was Willa and her team.
Willa was incredibly attentive to us our entire planning process. Toward the end she took over communication with some vendors allowing our stress level to not skyrocket. She was our rock. Willa’s organization was incredible. We had all
our information as well as inspiration photos and vendor information in an online portal that she kept meticulously updated.
On the wedding day, Willa worked so hard while making everything look easy with her calm, cool and collected demeanor. I felt no stress whatsoever, even with moving our ceremony indoors due to inclement weather. Willa flawlessly executed navigating the new ceremony location as well as the room flip to the reception.
I am a very detail oriented woman and I can honestly say that Willa executed my exacting vision. I spent so much time and energy planning so to see everything come to fruition was all I could have hoped for. I trusted the Wild Heights team throughout the entire process which I never thought I could do. It was easy to trust and put my wedding in the hands of such a professional, smart, creative, hardworking, detail oriented, attentive and mindful woman and her fabulous company. -
Myya Sent on 09/18/2018Willa at Wildheight events was recommended to me by a friend...Once hired Willa wasted no time- not only did she help me coordinate my wedding day but she stepped in to help me with the 50 person rehearsal dinner I was throwing with my mom and mother in law. Even when I told Willa I did not need help she was there to do the things I had forgotten, not thought of, not found important. I had a very specific idea in my head of decor and set up for both my wedding and rehearsal- I have a very hard time verbalizing my ideas and somehow Willa read my mind and perfectly executed my vision with minimal guidance from me. I have no idea how to put in words how amazing Willa was, there are a million examples of her going above and beyond the months leading up to the event and at our wedding and rehearsal dinner...She did no let me lift a finger all weekend...I looked for her every time I was upset, nervous or stressed- she made everything better. I was not an easy or helpful bride and she was so patient with me and my family. Our vendors raved about working with her and my friends and family loved her. My wedding was my dream wedding because of the time and effort Willa put into it. We honestly never would have been able to execute our vision without her. Every bride deserves to have Willa as their coordinator... I gave her some general ideas and she ran with everything, gave me lots of options, and executed my vision without me needing to really do anything! She was really responsive and comforting, gave me lots of updates throughout the process. She is very creative and has great taste. Very highly recommended!

First and foremost, Willa’s attention to detail, creativity, and professional composure set our wedding apart from anything I had ever seen before. However, the paramount highlight in Wild Height’s services was Willa’s GENUINE interest and excitement for my event; this made all the difference in the world. Willa developed the entire vision of our wedding from our color scheme to envisioning the most gorgeous floral arrangements I truly have ever seen. Our centerpieces were one of a kind and the bridesmaids and groomsmen loved their bouquets and boutonnieres. Willa was able to take the blank template of the ballroom and turn it into something spectacular with beautiful floral arrangements on the fireplace mantel and gorgeous details for our sweetheart table. She was also available to answer any logistical and ‘wedding etiquette’ questions that popped up during the planning process. She is a true expert when it comes to all things event planning. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience using Wild Heights Events, and I highly recommend their services.

Couldn't have done it without Willa
We wanted an elevated, but intimate and cozy backyard wedding for 80 people at a rented private residence, and we simply could not have imagined planning or executing it without the help of Willa and her team. There was a short period of time where I thought we could plan/DIY it ourselves, but I ended up talking to and hiring Willa on recommendation from a close friend who had worked with her for on own wedding, and for that I am so grateful.
From the very beginning, Willa knew where to focus our energy and budget, and she kept us oriented on the most important things throughout. Especially for a wedding at a "non-traditional" venue of sorts, having an experienced professional help us think through everything we'd need to host such an event was critical. If it's your first time planning a big event like this (as it was for us), it's hard to know what details matter and which ultimately don't, so having Willa guide us throughout the process was invaluable. Though we did end up going over our original budget (at our own discretion), Willa was constantly helping us find ways to save where we could and for giving us guidance on where it was worth investing vs. not.
On design -- as someone who can be picky/particular about visual aesthetics and design, I can't emphasize enough how nice it was to be able to work with someone with such great taste and design judgment. It was so easy to trust her design choices and we didn't feel like we had to nit-pick anything. Willa has an incredible eye and knows what's she's doing!! I promise she will make your day look and feel absolutely beautiful.
You won't meet a craftier/DIH (Do-It-Herself) wedding planner. Willa helped us make create a wedding alter of floating flowers and a custom seating chart made up of matchbooks we had collected from across NYC. As someone who also loves to DIY, having a planner who's down to get crafty was not only FUN (!) but the crafts really made our wedding feel custom and unique, which was important to us.
The day of our wedding was *magical*, and I'm so glad we hired Willa / Wild Heights Events. I can't wait to see what other amazing events she helps to put on after you hire her :) -

Highly recommend working with Willa & her team for your big day! Throughout the entire process, Willa was a calm and reassuring presence that kept us on track and delivered the most amazing results. We had bi-weekly meetings (switching to weekly a month or so before the wedding) which was perfect as it gave us time to think about things but we never felt like we were falling behind. She helped us develop our ideas to come up with a cohesive design, while also bringing fresh ideas to the each meeting. She provided great vendor recs for things like florals, lighting, photography, and make-up and was of course on every call with us to help address things we might not have even thought about. She was also always budget/emotionally conscious, never pushing something that felt out of our comfort zone.
And the wedding was proof of all her talent! It was truly majestic and exceeded our vision. On the day, she handled things so seamlessly I didn't even think about the fact that things were being coordinated, making the day as stress free as it can be.
All in all, it felt like working with a professional friend (and sometimes couple's therapist) and we developed a really amazing partnership. I truly can't fathom trying to do it without her! -
