BEST. Venue. Ever !!
Reader: If you’re in love, thinking about falling in love, or just want to be surrounded by charm, joy, and magic: BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT THE WILBURTON! Wow. Just wow. This place is utterly and gloriously one of a kind.
The Wilburton is perched on a hilltop with sweeping Green Mountain views. There’s historic charm, whimsical art, lush gardens, beautiful rugs. It feels like a family estate, an art museum, and a dreamy retreat all rolled into one. But what truly sets The Wilburton apart isn’t the beauty (though it is ABUNDANT). It’s the people.
The team behind the Wilburton…WOW. Meesha, Tajlei, Melissa, Albert, Sarah, Lottie, Valerie, Dexter, Sam, the CHEF!, the housekeeping crew... I don’t know how else to say this - they are literal angels. A full ensemble of guardian angels disguised as event pros, who will treat your guests with so much care, warmth, and intention it will leave you speechless.
And Meesha…. the heartbeat of your wedding planning! She’s the Wilburton's on-site wedding planner for your entire planning process, but in reality, she goes WELL and BEYOND that role. She is the calm in the storm, a problem solver, and super compassionate. She treated our family like her own. When visa issues threatened our international guests’ plans, she worked with Tajlei and Melissa to make sure those guests had flexible and stress-free housing. And when our budget felt tight, without us asking for solutions, she offered smart, thoughtful ideas to help us save without sacrificing anything.
And then there are the moments in the special details. Like when all the shuttles had left for the night and one of our guests missed the bus - Meesha personally drove him home at 1:30am, planning to come back to finish her work. Or how she and her team were somehow everywhere at once: putting table numbers in frames, boxing things up at the end of the night. I have no idea when she did half of what she did. Meesha just made it all feel seamless.
And the entire team at The Wilburton follows that lead. While we were off dancing at the reception, they snuck into our bridal suite, cleaned it, organized it, and left it glowing. No clue when they found the time - especially since Meesha was also capturing video snippets of the wedding from the sidelines to send us.
Every vendor gushed about the staff. Every guest adored them. I genuinely wanted Meesha and the team around her as guests in the wedding by the time the big day came!
The team absolutely DELIVERS. Dexter’s MASSIVE bonfire on Friday night was the perfect kickoff to the weekend. (The bonfire is a MUST do!). Valerie’s INCREDIBLE warmth & cocktails were handcrafted magic made with homegrown ingredients. Tajlei and Melissa made us feel like the property had been waiting for us all along. Even during our tasting weekend, they created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and joyful for all the bride and grooms. Everywhere we turned, the team added little touches - unwrapping and tying up guest blankets without being asked, running to grab Advil for guests, offering tables and carpets for our ceremony setup, hand delivering gift bags to rooms.
There were at least a dozen things I intended to take care of, only to find they’d already been handled. I’ll never know the full list of things they did behind the scenes, but I felt them all. That kind of quiet, behind the scenes thoughtfulness made the weekend feel easy, magical, and full of love.
If you’re looking for the BEST place for a wedding, reunion, event, or even just a night stay to enjoy a gorgeous destination, do yourself a favor and book The Wilburton Inn!!!

The perfect place for the perfect VT wedding!
We (early 30’s) had 3 “musts” for our wedding: an inclusive venue where our loved ones can stay on premise, a beautiful Vermont backdrop, and that nobody would leave hungry.
The Wilburton hit all 3 of these and more!
Housing: we had ~100 friends and family stay in the houses on the venue campus and in the historic mansion. Everyone was comfortable in the houses and the mansion and it was so much fun to walk around the campus knowing anyone we bumped into was a guest of the wedding. The bridal suite was also perfect in terms of spacing and set-up for getting ready and allowing us to be comfortable for the entire weekend. Having most people "on-campus" in addition to hosting the welcome bonfire, wedding ceremony + reception, and send-off breakfast at the same place made it even more special and simplified the logistics of the weekend for us and our guests.
Natural Vermont Beauty: the views were INCREDIBLE. If you want the backdrop of your ceremony to be peak Vermont foliage, the back lawn is perfect! All our guests raved about the setting. Additionally, the Wilburton is tastefully decorated. The Mansion is a classic brick mansion with marble patios that ooze elegance without overshadowing nature. The owners (family run) also collect art that symbolizes love. These quirky statues are seen throughout the venue and just add charm to the event that keeps everyone intrigued in their surroundings without overshadowing the event itself. Our guests also loved exploring Manchester and we got so many compliments on the local hikes, stores, activities and even the beauty of their travels to the town.
Nobody leaves hungry: the Wilburton is hands down the best wedding food we’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous (the passed apps during cocktail hour were great, too). The son in the family operates his own local farm supplying many of the ingredients, and you can tell how important the freshness of ingredients was in the flavors and quality of the meals. We’ve never seen so many people complement vegetables!
Additionally, the entire Wilburton staff (set-up, servers, bartenders, etc.) led by Meesha is incredible. Meesha helped us stay organized and provided lots of resources that helped us choose vendors (all great) and make decisions that felt informed and stress free. She was also indispensable the weekend of the wedding, keeping us and our families on track, calm, excited and she thought of everything, including things we didn't even know to think about! -

Perfect wedding venue
We couldn’t have asked for more from the Wilburton. We wanted a space for friends and family to gather for a weekend to celebrate together. The staff couldn’t have been better, and Meesha (the Wilburton’s coordinator) was with us every step of the way. She helped coordinating vendors, ensuring we accounted for all the details we likely would have forgotten and made it as stress free as possible. The food also got rave reviews which was just a bonus. All in all it was a perfect weekend for us! -

A billion out of 5 stars. Best. Wedding. Ever.
The Wilburton is the perfect wedding venue. It truly doesn’t get better than this.
Location & Setting
You get the amenities of Manchester at your fingertips while feeling like you're in your own secluded kingdom, surrounded by breathtaking 360-degree views of the Green Mountains. This place is a hidden gem.
The Mansion – A Dream Venue
The historic Art Deco mansion is stunning. Normally, a property this grand would be a museum, roped off with security. But here, they make it clear: this place is yours for the weekend. You feel at home—but in the coolest home imaginable. Your guests can freely explore, adding to an unforgettable experience.
Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort
The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture.
One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? You can do so without missing a thing. If you have a dog, it's easy to check on them—or even bring them back to the dance floor (our guests did!).
Incredible Food
Choosing a caterer can be nerve-wracking, but the Wilburton’s food is exceptional. If you tried every caterer in the country, this would still be #1. Fresh, local, and plentiful—they do not skimp. The hardest part was picking appetizers and entrées because we loved them all!
Their wedding tasting event is genius. It’s set up like a real wedding—cocktail hour with appetizers, a seated dinner with entrée samples, and drinks to try. You also meet other couples, swap planning tips, and experience the top-notch service firsthand.
World-Class Service & Staff
The Wilburton’s team is extraordinary—polished, professional, and genuinely invested in your day. A perfect example: an hour before the tasting event, I realized I forgot to RSVP for my plus one. I let a waiter know, expecting chaos. Instead, they discreetly rearranged seating, added food, and learned my guest’s name—all without anyone noticing. Seamless.
The Heart of the Wilburton: The People
Beyond the breathtaking venue and amazing food, the best part of the Wilburton is the people. They are transparent, organized, and truly want you to have the best day of your life.
A special shoutout to Meesha, who made wedding planning effortless. She was incredibly responsive, unbelievably organized, and guided us through everything. I had zero worries on my wedding day because I knew Meesha had it handled. That level of trust is priceless.
Final Thoughts
I don’t know any other brides who felt this relaxed and confident on their wedding day. That alone is a reason to book the Wilburton. If you’re considering it—DO IT. You won’t find a more stunning, welcoming, or well-run venue anywhere. -

Best. Wedding. EVER.
Where do we even start? We just returned from our honeymoon and are still reveling in the most magical wedding weekend we could have ever had. It’s all thanks to Meesha at The Wilburton Inn. From the moment we came for our initial tour, Meesha was all you could want out of a wedding planner, as well as a friend who is thoughtful, kind, smart, and more than a joy to be around. She helped with every single aspect of our planning, and we trusted here word entirely — we couldn’t have been more happy with working with her!
As to the venue, there is simply no better place to have a wedding. For context, my husband and I have big families. A lot of our family members were coming in from out of town and out of the country, so our priority was to have a wedding weekend where people could be together for more than one night. This is exactly what we got with the Wilburton. Our guests were able to play tennis, go hiking, go swimming, explore Manchester and, most of all, be together in the days leading up to the actual wedding. We reserved almost all of the houses on the property for guests to stay in, which created a laidback atmosphere as most people didn’t have to worry about driving back and forth or leaving at any point.
As for the wedding night, it was pure magic. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, the weather (luckily) was also perfect, which was just the cherry on top. You cannot beat the people, the venue, and THE VIEWS!!!
We wish we could do it all over again, but we are looking forward to visiting The Wilburton again for many, many years to come.-

11/10 all around
I do not even know where to start! Still searching for a word out there that defines as "better than perfect." There is nothing out there that even comes close to the Wilburton. The entire experience was an absolute dream. I will begin with the staff. Meesha, Tajlei, Melissa, and the entire Wilburton staff were OFF THE CHARTS. They know a thing or two about hospitality. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities were everything! Every room is cared for. Meesha treated myself and each and every one of my guests like family. She is an incredibly special person sent from Heaven. From inception she made the entire process seamless and not scary at all! She always made herself available to answer any questions I had. She also provided me with any, and all information I needed - so that when the wedding day came my mind was at ease. She coordinated everything with all of my vendors, so that I did not have to worry about talking to them day of the wedding. Meesha deserves an award for all of her hard work!! If you are planning on having a wedding here – don’t miss out on the rehearsal dinner and the bonfire. These two events were so special and my guests were raving about them. It is a good opportunity to welcome everyone, and they do a great job coordinating the events. The venue itself is spectacular. Having all of the guests stay on the premises was KEY, you forget something in your room – no biggie just a few steps away. It was like a big campfire sleepover with all of my favorite people. The marble steps and pavilion tent are to die for. Not to mention – BEST MOUNTAIN VIEWS IN MANCHESTER!! The food is all farm to table and is incredible. Nancy Bishop is a local florist in the area that I was so blessed to have found, she knows the venue and is a master at her craft. I have nothing but incredible things to say about the Wilburton, I could go on forever! The second you get there and see the views you will be sold - I am telling you!!!!-

The absolute BEST!
Our wedding at The Wilburton was quite possibly the most wonderful and most epic weekend ever. Meesha, Tajlei, and everyone at The Wilburton made it such a pleasant and easy process and most of all, they went above and beyond to ensure we, and all of our guests had the best time. With every outlandish request we threw at them, they came back with solutions and ideas for how to make it a reality.
Meesha was so patient and such a helpful guide in the planning process. She was amazing at bringing together all the moving pieces and especially in 2022 that is a major feat! With each hiccup like rental companies not having any stock, or me ordering the wrong escort cards, etc. Meesha would brush it off, tell me it was no big deal and find a solution. I could not have done any of this without her. The unique beauty of The Wilburton is that it has a very special warm, homey, and comfortable feeling while still being a really grand and beautiful property. We filled every room for the weekend which made it feel like summer camp - everyone running around, being together and enjoying the grounds and the funky, incredible art installations. We truly had the best experience planning and hosting our wedding at The Wilburton and have spent the past week fielding texts and calls from all of our guests who loved it just as much. The whole weekend was so special. I wish I could do it all over again!!-

My dream wedding venue!
If I could dream up the absolute perfect venue for my wedding it would be The Wilburton. I can't stress enough how amazing it was to have all our family and friends in one place for the whole weekend! Most of our guests stayed on the property, which made coming to/from our wedding events easy and just felt like summer camp being all together. My husband and I owe our lives to Meesha, the wedding coordinator, who is literally a gift from the gods and thought of EVERYTHING and was so so accommodating and understanding. Tajlei and Melissa were also both a wonderful help throughout the process and we could not have asked for better people to work with. All of our family and friends have since let us know how much they loved the property and how they all want to come back in the future for other holiday's/events! This was the perfect space for our wedding and once you see the views you will know it's the right place for yours too!-

Dream Wedding Weekend!
Our wedding weekend was an ABSOLUTE dream thanks to the Wilburton Inn! After having to reschedule, we got married over Columbus Day Weekend and everything was perfect. If you are looking for somewhere private for all of your friends and family to stay and call yours for the weekend, this is your place! From the lodging accommodations (absolutely stunning Bridal Suite), to the reception tent, unique bonfire after party, and dog friendly property, everything was perfect. Thank you to Meesha, Tajlei, Melissa and the entire Wilburton staff for all of their hard work, making us feel so special and truly putting together the weekend of our dreams from start to finish! -

I cannot recommend the Wilburton enough!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Wilburton. From our very first meeting with Melissa we knew a wedding there would be unlike any we had been to before. The views outside are amazing, the food is amazing (our friends still talk about the french toast from breakfast), the bridal suite is amazing. The Levis family and staff gave us the most perfect wedding weekend I could have asked for. I wouldn't change a thing. We planned our wedding in about four months and they were so helpful with the whole process. The bonfire after the rehearsal dinner was the most fun and unique way to kick off our wedding weekend. We had a lot of out of town guests who rented most of the houses. It was great to have everyone close to each other. The views from our outdoor ceremony aren't something you can find anywhere else. The marble pavilion tent where we had our reception is stunning. A wedding there is really an unbelievable experience for both local Vermont guests and out of town guests. Our wedding pictures are amazing and we can't wait to go spend another weekend at the Wilburton! -

Our wedding at the Wilburton Inn last weekend was absolutely perfect. We created a weekend-long celebration, including rehearsal dinner, bonfire and wedding, to maximize time with our friends and families who came as far as Israel to be with us. We took over almost the entire property for the weekend and all of our guests were so impressed with the room accommodations, beauty of the property, and outstanding service provided. The wedding events went off without a hitch and it was such a warm, wonderful time that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We found the Wilburton late in our venue search and from the second we stepped into the Inn, we were sold. But we didn't know that we would end up with so much more than a beautiful venue, we'd make new friends, and find a place that we can visit for many years and hopefully bring our families back to. Wilburton Inn is not a cookie cutter place, and it's not a wedding factory. It is a completely customizable experience that allows you to create your unique vision against a beautiful backdrop, with a family and staff that truly put their heart into the entire process. They were flexible, immediately available to fix any issues, and just went above and beyond in every way to make sure our wedding was perfect. It wasn't just good service, it was genuine love for their property, their craft, and the relationships they build with their guests. We can't wait until the next time we're able to return and thank them so much for the unforgettable weekend and picture perfect wedding. -

We had our wedding at the Wilburton in early September of this year. Our families are from Boston, Chicago, and other cities all over so it was a destination wedding for about 100 people. We were there for three nights, some guest as little as one night.
Rooms: We rented the guest houses as well as had people in the mansion and villa rooms. The quality depends on the price. None of the rooms have anything negative about them but clearly the different prices reflect the view/quality of each room. You will find lots of "weird" art and sometimes a quirky style but if you don't like that then just stay at a Holiday Inn and don't bother going to a family owned estate in rural Vermont.
Breakfast: The pancakes are fantastic. The breakfast cook Lisa could talk all day about the flour mixture and how they integrate produce/bread from the family farm. They also offer all the other staples you would expect and it's all good and satisfying.
Dinner: We had a buffet of pork and cod. Both were cooked expertly and all the appetizers and sides seemed to go well. We served pies from Grandma Miller's for dessert but the Wilburton put on a chocolate fountain which people seemed to like. Unfortunately the fountain broke down before I got to it, but one of our hard partying guest is responsible for that - not the staff! People were having fun!
Staff: When we selected to have our wedding at the Wilburton it was run by the late Georgette Levis. When she passed of cancer her family stepped in and took over the Inn and made it clear to us that they were going to do whatever they needed to see that we got the wedding experience we were promised by their late mother. They clearly worked hard to do so. But they also maintained a fun approach to the whole experience and we felt as thought we were being hosted by some longtime family friends. In the end we are happy with our choice to get married at the Wilburton Inn and glad we got to meet the Levis Family and their staff. -

Thank you for my dream wedding!
I am so incredibly happy we chose The Wilburton Inn for our wedding. We chose to schedule it over a holiday weekend so we’d have more time to celebrate with our family and friends. The entire weekend (and even the planning leading up to it) was absolutely perfect and made so special by not only the beautiful landscape, but by the efforts, thoughtfulness, attention to detail and absolute care by all at The Wilburton. Our coordinator Meesha was attentive throughout all the planning and an absolute professional throughout our celebration. She was truly dedicated to ensuring we had our dream wedding. Our guest's lodging took the greater part of 4 of the houses on the property and each guest stated they had a great experience. We hosted a welcome party the first night and the charcuterie display was amazing, the second day started with a great breakfast for all and leisure pre-planned leisure activities. We ended the day with a bonfire complete with apple cider donuts and a bar. Our bartender was an absolute delight (and we were so excited to learn she’d be bartending at our reception the next day), she really was great with a crowd of all ages. We had a rocky start with the weather, but as soon as it was clear enough Meesha made sure the fire was roaring for all to enjoy! I can’t say enough about the wedding day. I said before, but it bears repeating… it was absolutely perfect! Meesha had been coordinating in advance with all our vendors and it really showed how much effort she had put in prior to the date. It was seamless and amazing. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and my husband I can’t imagine the day being any different. We plan on traveling back often to enjoy the beautiful scenery and friendly faces we grown to love at the Wilburton! -
