Happy & Helpful
I am a catering event planner and supervisor and recently had the pleasure of working with Christina for a large wedding here in Santa Barbara. I was very impressed with her calm and collected attitude throughout the whole planning process. She was always available whenever I had any questions and was always very sweet to interact with. On the day of, her team was super helpful in working with my team and the event ran flawlessly. I would refer Christina to any of my future brides that want a relaxed and happy vibe when planning their wedding. Til next time! -

We were so fortunate to have been linked up with Jen and the White Sage team! Jen helped us navigate all the many details of wedding planning that we never would have thought of, with quick replies to our questions during the planning process. We loved her no-pressure approach and how supportive and open she was in helping us do whatever was right for us (and, perhaps most importantly, not doing what wasn't!)
She was especially helpful in the weeks leading up to our wedding when she led communications with all of our vendors. Most of all, her day-of services and coordination left us very relaxed and with little to worry about! Definitely recommend! -

Amazing experience working with Brooke and team!
I can’t recommend Brooke and her team at White Sage enough! We initially got in touch with Brooke when we were considering planning a bespoke wedding in a remote location in Cuyama Valley. Over time, as our priorities shifted and we realized how challenging this would be to execute, Brooke was incredibly flexible, agile, and supportive as we completely changed the vision of our wedding to a hotel in Santa Barbara. No matter what our vision was, she was there to support us and figure out what our path forward would look like.
In the early stages of planning, when we had a difficult time deciding between venues, she provided us with detailed line-by-line projected expenses and pros and cons of each. Through you the entire process, she never hesitated to be honest with us (which we needed!) and always went above and beyond to help make our vision come to life.
To this day, I’m still emotional when I think about how everything came together perfectly on the day of, all thanks to Brooke. There’s a photo of me reacting to the way the reception space came together and it’s a snapshot of pure joy. and By the end of the process, we felt like we were besties with Brooke.White Sage Wedding's reply:

Brooke and her team go above and beyond! They made planning our wedding fun and enjoyable. My wedding day was so seamless because they were there to set everything up and organize the day. She focuses on the tiny details and will make sure everything is perfect the day of. I tell everyone that the first thing you should do after getting engaged is reach out to her team. They help to guide you every step of the way through planning and designing as well as source everything to make sure you get the most out of your money. She made all of my visions come to life. My husband, Jesse, and I got married June 28, 2019 at the Topa Mountain Winery in Ojai, California. With a background in events, I planned on handling the entire wedding myself, but our venue required a day of coordinator. While we hadn’t originally budgeted for a planner, we are so happy we used White Sage! After numerous conversations with overpriced planners, we began to get really nervous that a planner wouldn’t fit in our budget. Luckily, I received Brooke’s name from our florist, Ojai Blooms. They mentioned they worked with her often and that she and her team were “incredible”. From the moment we spoke with Brooke, we knew she was the perfect fit for our big day. She was professional, yet relaxed, extremely knowledgeable and from the start, very helpful with all of our questions. We hired her as our 30-day coordinator after our first conference call, but after it was all said and done, our only regret is not hiring her to help with the whole planning process. She’s THAT GOOD!
We loved that Brooke and her team were available and willing to help at any time. You can tell she and her team know what they are doing and Brooke always made us feel comfortable with our planning decisions. Jesse and I loved that Brooke was direct, yet kind and enthusiastic. She always had our best interest at heart and genuinely cared that we had the “best day ever” which we definitely did!
Overall, our experience with White Sage was fantastic. On our wedding day, we both kept commenting on how Brooke and her team were always a step ahead. If anything came up, which is bound to happen, one of her team members was on it immediately. Jesse and I were able to sit back and enjoy our day completely! I would highly recommend White Sage to any couple getting married especially if they want to have an amazing and stress-free wedding day! -

We could not have imagined having a more perfect day than our wedding day, and that is a huge thanks to Brooke and the rest of the White Sage team! Having had to navigate the ups and downs through Covid, our experience throughout the entire process was effortless, communicative and thorough. Never once did we feel that we didn't know what was happening or when something needed to happen in the planning process. If I could recommend one suggestion for anyone planning a wedding, it's to hire a skilled wedding planner like Brooke! It was the best money we spent, and we loved working with her and will miss her vibrant smile! -

We (we being me the bride, my now-husband, and my parents who were involved in the planning process) chose White Sage Wedding because we believed Brooke was savvy, grounded, compassionate, and hard-working. And we were right--Brooke was the planner we dreamed of and more. I met Brooke when I was feeling particularly overwhelmed by the pressure of making so many decisions with such high price tags attached to them, and with loads of emotional and social expectations in tow. Brooke listened. She integrated what she heard from us about our concerns, intentions and values and reflected them back in a wedding planning process that was in deep alignment with who we are and what we wanted. She communicated clearly, with grace and tact. And she brought a sense of stability and reason into a process that can easily feel like it's spiraling out of control. After our first meeting, I remember my parents saying, "Wow, thank goodness for Brooke." We ended up saying that a lot. We got the feeling that Brooke brought her full self to the work of planning a wedding, and in doing so, also brought an endless seeming amount of joy, enthusiasm and positivity. She was remarkably organized and an expert project and budget manager. She broke big tasks out into manageable to dos, and set deadlines so we stayed on track. She helped us evaluate what was worth spending money on, providing pros and cons for decisions, but never letting us spiral into decision analysis. She always brought us back to our values and our priorities. Brooke was our advocate at every stage. She helped us identify an amazing set of vendors, from our photographer and videographer to our florist. When our venue fell through, and we made a mid-point call to move the wedding to a different city, Brooke traveled with us to venue shop with us. We went from a backyard wedding to a weekend-long destination wedding. Brooke took on this planning challenge with confidence and generosity. Our day was beyond anything any of us could have ever dreamed it was. And it was that way thanks to so much of Brooke’s hard work. She and her assistant, Haley, were so gracious and made all of our family and friends feel cared for. Most of all, she cared for us and our experience. We were able to be so present for our day because we trusted and saw how beautifully and diligently Brooke and Haley executed it. Brooke is the person you want driving you down to the ceremony site, as emotion and anticipation course through you. She’s the person you want to call when your guests pull some crazy shenanigan. She’s the person you want looking out for you on one of the most meaningful days of your life. -

Love White Sage!!
We had our hearts set on getting married in Ojai, but we had been struggling to find a venue there that suited our budget and our sensibilities. We came across White Sage while browsing Instagram and we loved that they were local to Ojai and also seemed to have a beautiful aesthetic. When we met Brooke over drinks we immediately loved her. It was like reuniting with an old friend. She was so kind and open and easy to talk to and made us both feel like the things we wanted were completely attainable. She helped us find our dream venue with her local Ojai connections. We had been searching for a place for over two years and Brooke helped us find a place within weeks. Brooke and her team at White Sage went above and beyond what they were contracted to do. Over the course of six months, Brooke kept us on task and always made us feel like we could reach out to her about anything no matter how small or insignificant. They made us feel like there was no task too big and they made the entire process feel easy and fun. There were so many small details and touches that we would not have even thought about that made our wedding the most perfect, magical day. Everything ran like a well oiled machine and she took so much stress out of the weekend for us. From the software they used with us to coordinate all the various facets of the wedding planning to acting as our go between for every question our guests had leading up to the wedding, they instilled in us so much confidence that our wedding would be as meaningful as we’d hoped, and it turned out to be the greatest experience of our lives. We could not recommend White Sage more. They were the perfect company to plan our wedding and have now become lifelong friends. -

Brooke from White Sage did a wonderful job at our wedding. She was very thorough with every detail, bugged us to make sure we're making good progress, and followed through every last thing. Hiring a wedding planner is now my #1 advice I give to engaged friends and would definitely recommend Brooke in a heartbeat. -

Hiring White Sage was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! We were determined to do our own wedding planning but 8 months out we started to get overwhelmed with the process. We quickly realized there is a lot of industry knowledge that only someone who does this often could and would know, so we decided to look for a planner. White Sage was recommended to us by a friend who is in the catering business and we are forever grateful for their recommendation. From Day 1, we had a gut feeling Brooke was our one when she requested that we meet face-to-face for our introduction meeting instead of an informal phone call. Most of the planners that we reached out to prior to Brooke asked for a call but Brooke's request for a face-to-face told us that she cared about relationships and her business is personal which, to us, meant she was and is in this with her whole heart! She puts her entire heart and soul into each and every meeting. Throughout the entire process Brooke was present, honest, kind, personal, and knowledgeable. At every step of the planning process our decision to work with White Sage was consistently validated - we often found ourselves saying "thank goodness we have Brooke!" over and over again. There was a point in the process where we had expressed our level of stress and concerns, to which Brooke responded "you don't need to stress anymore, that's now my job." The planning software she uses, Aisle Planner, is EVERYTHING. It breaks down each detail and task into manageable action items and a perfect timeline. Every single detail was all planned out and finalized DAYS before the wedding, it was done... all of it DONE! All we had is wait for our day to come, show up, get married, and party! On the day-of, not a single detail was missed. It was like clockwork. Brooke and her assistant, Christina, not only checked in with us but also checked in with our family members to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. There was a minor issue on our day with one of our self chosen vendors but we didn't allow ourselves to get worked up over it because we knew Brooke would absolutely take care of it in a professional manner - and she did just that. The energy that those two have is unparalleled. They definitely went above and beyond on our wedding day. We wish we somehow could have cloned her to have her be our planner and a wedding guest - thats how awesome she is!
We still feel connected to Brooke and as far as we are concerned, she went from planner to friend. We're not sure how many people could or would say they miss spending time with their wedding planner, but we truly miss our meetings together and look forward to a continued connection with Brooke! -

My husband (!!) and I eloped to Santa Barbara this past November. Our plan was to have some sort of bohemian ceremony with vows in a yurt, a picnic with beer and chocolates, and enough macrame to get tangled in. Brooke helped us pull it off after just a few phone calls to discuss mock-ups and inspiration pics.
When we arrived on the day of our vows, my husband and I were so amazed. Our dreams had literally come true. The ambiance was so free and magical. During our photos, Brooke relit candles and placed them in aesthetically pleasing ways. She offered laughs and her involvement and kindness helped us feel at ease throughout the photo-shoot (which could potentially be kind of awkward with people we've only just met!).
I recommend Brooke whole-heartedly! We are so thankful for her guidance and expertise. -
