The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club was everything we hoped for—and so much more—for our daughter’s wedding. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel like we were in the most capable hands. The venue itself is stunning, but it’s the people behind it who elevate the experience from beautiful to unforgettable.
Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and an effortless calm that made the day truly stress-free. The flow of the evening was seamless, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere magical from start to finish. Our guests raved—not just about the picturesque setting, but about how beautifully everything came together.
A very special thank-you to Amy, whose guidance, attentiveness, and warm presence made all the difference. She anticipated every need, communicated clearly throughout the process, and ensured that our daughter and son-in-law had the wedding of their dreams.

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue or a more exceptional team. From our very first tour to the last song of the night, Amy went above and beyond—organizing every detail, offering smart suggestions, and keeping us calm, comfortable, and excited throughout the process. She anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had and handled the timeline with total professionalism and grace. She is truly exceptional at what she does and somehow she makes it look so easy!
A special shoutout to Delaney, whose warm energy and quick problem-solving were such a gift on the wedding day. She was always one step ahead—checking in with us, coordinating vendors, and making sure our guests were well cared for.
The venue staff were also incredible—friendly, attentive, and so much fun to work with! They made the entire day feel effortless and joyful, and it was clear how much pride they take in what they do.
The venue itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it truly special.
We received so many compliments from guests about how seamless and fun the evening felt, and that’s entirely thanks to Amy, Delaney, and the entire team’s dedication and teamwork. Our wedding at The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club was nothing short of a dream come true! From the stunning views to the breathtaking sunset, every detail contributed to an unforgettable day. We cannot say enough about the incredible support we received from our day-of coordinator, Amy, as well.
From the very first meeting, Amy was a guiding light throughout the entire planning process. Her expertise and attention to detail ensured that everything was perfectly organized, and her dedication truly went above and beyond. We constantly felt reassured knowing she was behind the scenes managing every detail, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day without a single worry.
A huge thank you also goes to Delaney, Amy’s assistant, and the entire staff at Westshore Yacht Club. Their professionalism and friendliness made us and our guests feel welcomed and cared for from start to finish. The service was impeccable, and every request was met with enthusiasm and efficiency.
The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views that provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We felt like we were in paradise, and the sunset was the icing on the cake!

Outstanding waterfront wedding venue
Amy Winkleman, who is the event coordinator for the Westshore yacht club did an absolutely outstanding job throughout the entire process of planning for the wedding. Her entire team was so incredibly attentive and careful, very polite and professional. We brought in a lot of outside vendors, one of which provided all of the table settings, linens, glassware, chargers, silverware, etc., as well as the chairs. Amy handled the items as if they belonged to the yacht club. We also had a brunch there the following day and that was excellent as well. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. I highly recommend The Bay Club at The Westshore Yacht Club. -

WOW!!!! 10/10
I am completely blown away by my entire experience with The Bay Club and Amy. They absolutely went above and beyond and far exceeded my expectations for my wedding day - being in the wedding industry myself I had high expectations so this says a lot. Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with, and had all of my details down to a T and left me with nothing to worry about the day of. We did experience a little rain during cocktail hour, but I never knew it was happening because of how well and diligently the staff worked to accomodate everyone. We ended up having the most magical experience - having our dinner and reception outside over looking the water. It was breathtakingly beautiful - and the water gave off the perfect breeze making it extremely comfortable. The banquet staff was INCREDIBLE and so attentive and kind. *And let me say a banquet staff can make or break a wedding!!!!* Amy and her entire team at the club will ensure you are so well taken care of - they made my experience as a bride and on the day of so wonderful and I am so thankful for that. Amy - thank you for everything you did and for going above and beyond to take care of us. I truly felt you cared about our day and your hard work and love for what you do does not go unnoticed. XO
P.S the property and facilities are so well maintained and extremely clean!! Over all 10/10 hidden gem! -

This venue is perfect. You have your beautiful grounds, water views, and great location. We had a pool deck ceremony and our reception was in the bistro room. The room is already nice and does not need any additional decorating. Food was delicious. Banquet staff is great! Amy the event coordinator knows what she is doing and is such an asset. This venue is very reasonable price wise and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks to everyone at the Bay Club! -

Couldn’t have chosen a better venue!
The Westshore Yacht Club is the perfect venue! We had both our ceremony and reception on their pool deck. The Yacht Club is absolutely beautiful and the sunset was stunning. The Event Coordinator Amy is wonderful. She is extremely organized and was on top of everything throughout the entire experience. She is so hardworking and on the wedding day we didn’t even have to think about anything but having a great time as we knew Amy had everything covered. We were originally set to get married in April of 2020 and when we decided to postpone until the following year due to the pandemic Amy was so understanding and flexible - it made the difficult decision a lot less stressful. Amy is such an asset to the Westshore Yacht Club. I would recommend this venue for your event time and time again! ❤️ -

I had the pleasure of having Amy Winkleman as my coordinator! I cannot express how attentive and amazing she was from the beginning. We had an outdoor ceremony, cocktail and reception at the Westshore Yacht Club. Their staff was so attentive to my guests and myself on our wedding night that I received many compliments from my guests. I highly recommend them as I look forward to hosting more events in this location! The views are amazing from inside and outside of the venue. Thank you!!! -

Amy Winkleman from The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club is a literal god send and the venue coordinator dreams are made of. She met with us time and time again to ensure every detail was exactly what we wanted and made sure that our day went off without a hitch. When some of our rentals got messed up she went digging through her décor closet to figure out how to make it right. We loved the yacht club for the amazing views and the fact that we wouldn’t have to add a lot of décor. The food and beverages packages are not the cheapest we found, but honestly some of the best wedding food I’ve had ever. We did a Cuban buffet and guests raved about it. -

Incredible Venue + Team
Amy and her team helped us create and execute the wedding of our dreams. The Westshore Yacht Club was flexible, helpful, wise, and friendly. The food was a hit amongst our friends and family. The pool deck was stunning for our ceremony and reception + the space flip done by the team was flawless. We were shocked when we found this tucked away venue, and it was perfect for our budget. Grateful for such a great experience! -

Amy at the Westshore Yacht Club was so amazing! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew the club was perfect for our dream wedding day! The food was incredible, servers were great (especially Maria!), and the bartender was excellent! The guidance and patience Amy showed us trying to plan, postpone, and re-plan a wedding during COVID was truly remarkable. The bay club is absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Thank you, Amy, and the Westshore Yacht Club for the best day of our lives!

We got married with the help of Amy Winkleman, a god-send, who was flexible, responsive, calm and highly attentive to detail. Our day went off without a hitch and all of our guests can’t stop talking about how it was like a princess fairy tale wedding on the bay at sunset. Amazing food, servers were outstanding and bartender rocked it. I could not have done this without Amy. You are meant to do this for a living ❤️❤️ Thanks for making our wedding dream come to fruition! It is absolutely the best day of our lives, thanks to Amy and the club. Would recommend in a heartbeat! -

Prettiest view and best venue for a ceremony and venue!
I would recommend this venue to anyone. Not only does the venue and view speak for itself, the day of coordinator, Any, is the best there is! Having our wedding here was a dream and it was everything my husband and I wanted and more. Best place in Tampa, hands down. -

Kourtney Sent on 03/25/2013Sami Bowman (the venue's event coordinator) was a huge blessing! I can't possibly say enough good things about this woman. She was helpful, understanding, kind, flexible, and a joy to work with. She really went above and beyond throughout my entire wedding planning process. Any questions or concerns I had, Sami had an answer for. If it weren't for Sami and the rest of the amazing staff (including the chef) at the Westshore Yacht Club, my wedding wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was. And by the way, the food at this venue is FANTASTIC! Definitely not your ordinary wedding food. And the location and view at the venue can't be beat! -

Amazing and beautiful venue!
The Westshore Yacht Club was everything we dreamed of for a venue and then some! Our wedding was affected by COVID and decided to replan our Dallas wedding in our hometown of Tampa!
Amy, the venue coordinator, went above and beyond to help us make the best day of our lives indeed that, the best day of our lives!
The view was stunning, and since we had a late afternoon/evening wedding, the sunset over the yachts was spectacular! We were fortunate enough to have a high of 70 degrees and sunny on our wedding day in March, and having our wedding on the outdoor pool deck was the best decision we ever made! Everyone got great photos, loved the pool, felt so fancy pulling up to the venue and had an amazing time!

We had so many guest come up and tell us it was one of the best venues they had been to! The weather was perfect (did our reception on the pool deck and ceremony in front) which helped of course! Amy was great to work with and pulled my vision together perfectly. We had one issue with a bartender however it was handled well by management- one of the most beautiful/ affordable waterfront venues in the tampa Bay Area! -

Where do I begin…. This venue and team was phenomenal. Obviously the venue itself is absolutely stunning, but the team is such a dream to work with. Amy is amazing, she is clearly very good at what she does and took care of everything we needed with ease. Very professional and listened to everything I wanted. The bar staff was super awesome and quick. And the food was amazing! We had so many people comment on how much they loved the venue and the food. We had such an incredible wedding and without a doubt all thanks to this venue. It will always hold a special part in our hearts. Obviously I couldn’t recommend them more! -
Michelle Sent on 02/14/2018We had our wedding here a couple of weekends ago and it was absolutely incredible! Everything I dreamed of. The location is stunning! We had our ceremony outside on their patio and the reception inside their ballroom. For the meal options we chose Prime Rib, Salmon, and Champagne Chicken, all with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetable medley. Everyone raved about the food too! And the portion size was just right! The bar made great drinks. The staff was super friendly and on their game. I have nothing bad to say about the venue except for one small detail. Their day of coordinator, Amy, is very friendly and professional but my only criticism would be her response time wasn't the best and many conversations I had with her, its like she would forget or mix up my details with someone else's wedding. Other than that, the day of the wedding ran so smoothly thanks to Amy! I would recommend this venue time and time again! Thank you Bay Club and its staff for making our wedding unforgettable!

User906917 Sent on 08/21/2012During my wedding the dance floor came apart into pieces. My coordinator had already left for the night without a word and the servers had no idea how to fix it. I have been asking for a refund on the dance floor for four months. The WSYC says "we are not responsible for anything other than our own property, or actions. We just offered a service of ordering the dance floor not of the actual dance floor or putting it together." They did get it from a third party, but I would expect them to be responsible for the items they provide, regardless of how they got them. I paid them for it and expect them to compensate me for it. Their lack of experience as a wedding location is not worth the hassle of doing business with.
