Great experience. Kelly Floyd Wedding Coordinator absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From venue, good, service and communication could not ask for more.

We had my daughters wedding here and it was beyond amazing!! Everyone was so accommodating and Kelly Floyd (the Director of Events) was incredible! We had a last minute change in our venue from a different location and she made sure everything went through flawlessly! The food was also the best wedding dinner we have ever had. Thank you so much Westin- I would recommend to any and all! #WestinWeddings

We recently held my daughter’s long awaited wedding at the Westin Sarasota. They did a wonderful job and took care of us as if we were family. The venue in Triton A was beautiful. High ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers. My son in law was very impressed. The servers were smiling and attentive to all our guests. The bar tender was also attentive and mixed outstanding drinks. The food was phenomenal. Filet minion tender and juice, Short ribs falling off the bone in rich gravy, Salmon and Chicken beautifully done. They catered to the dietary needs of several guests. The catering events manager was attentive to our needs when we booked and answered every concern I had in preparation for the event. The hotel blocked rooms and we went beyond their required amount. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. We stayed in one of the Executive Suites which had a king bed and balcony with a living room area with couch, 2 chairs, table, desk area, coffee area and small refrigerator. The bathroom area was quite large with a huge shower with seat and 2 shower heads. I will go to this hotel any time I have to travel. I whole heartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to have an event. They are a true value also!

From the moment we met with the event manager at the Westin, we knew this was the place. The venue is new, clean, and located in the downtown area by the gulf. The picturesque backgrounds from any angle provides perfect back drops to the photos, along with natural light for perfect make up application (which to this bride was very important!)! Every person who was involved from the venue was absolutely wonderful and made themselves available. From email to personal cell phone numbers, the staff was fully vested in making sure the day was perfect. The venue has marquees throughout where they put up selected photos of us which enabled guests to know where and when the event took place. The rooftop ceremony at sunset was incredible and the staff relocated 100 chairs to the magnificent Triton Ballroom. Can you say stunning? Because that is how the ballroom looked. Every idea, every thought- every detail mentioned throughout the planning came to life. It was absolutely perfect. This venue goes above and beyond in every way to ensure the absolute best possible outcome on your wedding day. I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.

Westin of Sarasota is the best! The entire team did such a great job on our 25th Wedding Celebration. Our event coordinator, Lauren made everything run so smoothly & allowed us to just sit back & enjoyed the night. It was well worth it!

I recently hosted the wedding for our son & new daughter in-law on Saturday, August 11th at the WESTIN Sarasota.
First, despite of weather (we had to change the venue at 10:00 AM from the roof top to 6th floor), we had a beautiful ceremony. With wonderful teamwork between Jennifer Mateo, our wedding planner & Lauren Venable, Westin Catering, they implement the contingency plan without missing a beat. It was stress free for me!

Lauren Venable has been my main contact to complete our contracts on catering events, etc, with assistance from Nicole Green on overnight accommodations. With many guests from out of the state, we hosted Sunset Welcome on Friday Night at the Roof Top with various flat breads & salad bar & wine & beer! We had a reception immediately following the wedding ceremony, followed by the brunch from 12-2 pm. As I was not familiar w/ many vendors, I worked closely with Lauren & Jennifer for music, catering, cake, and other needs. I enjoyed my interactions with Lauren for her professionalism, prompt follow-through, and flexibility. I would recommend Lauren & Westin Sarasota for event planning without any hesitation. Food was excellent based on our Friday Sunset Welcome & Saturday Wedding Brunch package. Moreover, I would like to recognize “staff” who serviced our sunset event on Friday, 8/10 at Roof top, and again at the wedding brunch buffet on 8/11. They were excellent, to details & customer care.
