Exceptional service, incredible food & flawless execution!

Working with Rachel and the Well Dunn team was an absolute pleasure! From start to finish, they made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Not only was the food fantastic—we received countless compliments from our guests—but the cocktails were spot on, adding the perfect touch to the evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional throughout the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. On top of that, they took the hassle out of planning by helping us secure all of our furniture, from chairs and tables to the full setup. I can’t recommend them enough for making our day so memorable!

Highly Recommend!

We both consider ourselves foodies and love trying different restaurants/cuisines which made us very particular about our food choices for our wedding. To say that we were lucky to have Cameron and the Well Dunn team for our wedding would be an understatement – he worked with us so that we could customize our dream wedding within our budget. From orchestrating fun signature drinks that our guests loved and putting together desserts/late night snacks that had everyone in awe – Well Dunn went above and beyond to give us the perfect food for our special day. The presentation was exactly what we wanted and reminded us of the colorful, fun, and beautiful dates we used to have in DC. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and we were able to meet with Cameron multiple times leading up to the wedding and their team took care of every change/update that came up. Not once did we feel like Cameron and his team were trying to sell us more while we were changing our minds. They listened to all our ideas/visions and were able to incorporate everything so smoothly while staying within the budget. Based on our experience, we know they would be an amazing addition to any wedding (or party/event). If you are looking for a catering company, look no further. You will be so happy to work with Well Dunn!

Fine Dining Catering Experience

My husband and I are foodies, and we loved working with Cameron and his team at Well Dunn. Food is creative, delicious and beautiful!!! Service was fantastic -- these are the kind of folks who set all the plates down at the same time for a table, within reason. Our tasting experience was soooo amazing. From the moment we entered the door, we felt so pampered. It was basically a private fine dining experience. I'd had a few drinks by the time we were choosing our linens and dinnerware, so that was a very fun time :)

Perfection from start to finish

Well Dunn was one of the caterers that was recommended by The US Institute of Peace. Spoke with other recommended caterers but quickly settled on Well Dunn for their flexibility, menu choices, pricing and reputation. Best decision ever. Wedding had to be delayed by 1 1/2 years due to covid, but Well Dunn was able to stay with me as we moved the date many times. Finally, on November 6, the wedding went off without a hitch. The guests are still raving about the food--appetizers, dinner and the delicious desserts. The waitstaff was meticulous and cared for all our guests and their requests efficiently. Pricing was appropriate for the type of event we had, so no surprises. Lovely linen rental company that Well Dunn worked with enhanced the overall look of the dinner. I can't say enough about Joanie Rylander who was with me all the way. She was truly the reason we chose Well Dunn. Her experience in the business and her suggestions for all parts of the wedding were invaluable. You can't go wrong in choosing Well Dunn.

Well Dunn - Great Service!

I had the pleasure of working with Joanie and her team for our wedding in September 2021. I'm so happy we went with Well Dunn. We had a variety of options during our tasting, and we were able to have all the different food options we envisioned having. We hired Well Dunn before the pandemic and Joanie and the team were very flexible about making sure we still had the wedding we originally planned. Everyone loved the food and experience!

Wonderful Food and Attentive Staff

Natalie Walker and the rest of the Well Dunn staff were wonderful to work with. The food, drinks, and service were perfect, and Natalie made sure the planning process was painless, sharing seasonal menu ideas, suggesting place settings, and helping us re-work certain details when we decided to downsize in light of the pandemic. We asked our guests and our vendors to follow safety protocols, and Well Dunn staff were prepared with safe serving techniques and PPE. They sent the newlyweds home with packaged leftovers (which we were glad to enjoy the next night), and left our host’s kitchen spotless. We would highly recommend Well Dunn to anyone planning an event in the Washington, D.C., area, and hope to work with them again. (Inspired by this experience, we ordered several items from their Thanksgiving take-out menu; that was excellent, too!)

Incredible!

I have been in the wedding industry for over 4 years and have have been able to work with several catering companies. I had the honor of working alongside Well Dunn this past weekend for a wedding I planned and this catering company is beyond incredible. As a fellow wedding professional, working with other vendors who show the same kind of professionalism is key.

The staff at Well Dunn is knowledgeable, responsive, courteous and always has a smile on their face. There was nothing I asked them to help with that they didn't willingly do. They arrived on time, stayed on top of their game at all times and provided wonderful service.

Thank you Yulia and Yuri for such a great experience. I hope we can work together again in the future.

Highly recommend working with Well Dunn!

We loved working with Well Dunn for our wedding! We opted for an authentic Indian meal for our wedding dinner, so we were looking for a partner caterer for everything from linens to tables, chairs, and bartenders. From the beginning, Cameron was SO easy to work with. Cameron is responsive, emotionally intelligent, creative, and professional. He gave us great advice on our linens and flatware—and Well Dunn has an amazing and huge selection to choose from. He was also extremely helpful and responsive in navigating the venue, food vendor, liquor, and setup for the wedding/reception. He was there on the day of the wedding making sure everything went smoothly- and gave us great ideas (like having drinks for everyone during our family pics). Well Dunn made sure our wedding flipped into our reception flawlessly while our guests drank amazing drinks made by the bartenders. Our guests said the wedding night (bars, buffet, etc.) was so flawless in execution that they didn’t worry about anything but having fun at our wedding! I highly recommend Well Dunn- and Cameron- to anyone looking for a transparent, professional, and stylish wedding caterer.

Can not recommend highly enough!

We had an incredible experience working with Well Dunn and cannot recommend highly enough!!! We coordinated with Joanie throughout the process and she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating from the initial time we met for the tasting to working together to set up a menu and pick out table settings that were exactly what we wanted and also within our budget. Our guests raves about both the delicious food and attentive service throughout the night—the Well Dunn team “flipped” the space beautifully from the ceremony to dinner, everything came out quickly and exactly as we wanted it, and just as important, there was never a line at the bar! :) Joanie even coordinated with our family in the week before the wedding for a surprise hometown dessert that was passed on the dance floor. The Well Dunn team truly made everything run seamlessly and no detail was to small—we are so glad we worked with them and so thankful for all they did to make our wedding so incredible and worry-free!

An amazingly awesome dining experience!!

Joanie and her team did an amazing job catering our wedding. During the tasting, we had a wide variety of options to chose from. The hardest part: narrowing things down! Everything tasted amazing. It is worth your time to go over all the options for appetizers and desserts.

On the big day, their friendly staff did an amazing job during the event. We had one staff member dedicated to my wife and I, and that was a nice touch. The food was spectacular, and people are still commenting about it weeks later.

Great Caterer!

We had nothing but good experiences with Well Dunn. Joanie was easy to work with and accommodating for any changes that came up right until the day of. The staff were professional and the food was as great as I'd hoped it would be. They even took care of setting some things up that we didn't expect them to help with. When we look back on the many positive memories of our wedding, it's impossible to separate the experience Joanie helped us create from how perfect our night was from beginning to end. They really cared about making sure the day went smoothly, and I'm so glad we went with Well Dunn!

Amazing, creative food and wonderful staff

Joanie at Well Dunn was an amazing partner to cater my 200 person wedding in August 2019. My husband and I opted for a station style vs. a seated dinner to encourage our guests to walk around the outdoor venue and meet more people. The food was OUTSTANDING. The passed hors d'oeuvres were awesome (thai coconut beef, lamb loin, mango gazpacho, fish tacos, lobster rolls, and burrata -- and it was hard to narrow to that list!) and Joanie helped us customize the menus of the stations to exactly our liking, including getting the specific oysters we love for our raw bar. The presentation and service was all top notch - so many people made a point to tell me how much they loved the food and how impressed they were by the entire staff. I couldn't recommend Well Dunn more highly!

Exceptional Service and Delicious Food

Well Dunn catered our 150-person wedding at Long View Gallery in October. Our catering manager was Joanie, who has a ton of experience and was great to work with. Their food is amazing, and we got a ton of compliments on the hors d’oeuvres especially. We had a seated dinner, and the service was impeccable. I was in awe watching the staff bring food to the tables, and a lot of our guests commented how impressed they were as well. We also had them provide dessert bites in lieu of a cake, and they were delicious as well! Thank you Joanie and Well Dunn!

Amazing Caterer!

Choosing to work with Well Dunn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We worked with Natalie, who exceeded all of our expectations. When I reached out to caterers about our preferences, and got some sample menus back, Well Dunn's stood out for its attention to our requests. From choosing the menu, to doing our tasting and selecting linens, and then working on final guest counts, the walk through, and seating, Natalie was extremely responsive, helpful and well organized. All of our food was wonderful, and got rave reviews from guests. The day was executed perfectly. Our guests commented on how efficient and great Well Dunn's staff was. One member made sure my groom and I each got a plate of all the hors d'oeuvres, which I really appreciated, as it was a very busy day. I highly recommend using Well Dunn for your wedding.

Incredible food, wonderful people

My wife and I are both vegetarians and we really wanted to do a family-style vegetarian feast for our wedding that would delight even the most die-hard carnivores. That's exactly what Well Dunn delivered. With a fantastic range of dishes, all perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, they exceeded all our expectations, and drew a ton of compliments from our guests--including people who said that they never expected an all-vegetarian dinner to be that good. The churros bar, which we had in lieu of a cake, was also a huge hit.

The team deserve as many accolades as the food. Yulia was a delight to work with; from designing our menu, to the tasting, to the night itself, she was on top of every detail, and endlessly accommodating. On the night, her entire team, from the bar staff to the waiters, were polite, professional, and extremely helpful. We especially want to single out Valeria, who was assigned to us and really looked after us throughout the night, making sure that we had enough canapes and drinks amid the frenzy of hugs and congratulations. It's those kind touches, and attention to detail, that make Well Dunn so patently great at what they do. Anyone would be lucky to hire them.

So amazing!

We worked with Natalie at Well Dunn and had the most spectacular experience. Everything was perfect. Natalie was beyond professional and the food was perfect. We did food stations in a small venue and she helped us create a special tent for the food stations. It was all just so great! Would definitely recommend if you want a seamless catering experience.

Shenandoah River Wedding

I am not sure I have enough words to describe how amazing Well Dunn Catering is. Not only is their food AMAZING in every way, they were able to work in conditions that are different than most in the D.C. area. We worked with Cameron, and he was incredible. He made the whole process fun and stress free. Cameron even came with us when we picked out our plates and glassware, knowing exactly what would work with what we were doing. On top of that, he managed to coordinate feeding over 200 guests in a large backyard wedding, buffet style. Our wedding took place in the middle of a hayfield on the Shenandoah River that had absolutely no infrastructure in the beginning. They were able to make and serve hot, delicious food out of a makeshift kitchen. We decided to go with different buffets with food you would serve at a bbq, but upscaled (for example a taco bar, mac n' cheese bar, dessert bar). At the end of the night we had sliders and fries served as well. It all tasted unreal. I don't want to leave out the beginning of the process either. Once you pick from a larger menu, you get to go to a beautiful townhouse in D.C. and do a tasting! Make sure to arrive hungry. We would recommend working with Well Dunn for any event that needs catering. My brother and sister in law also worked with Well Dunn Catering & Cameron two years prior to our wedding, which was held in the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Our family has now experienced Well Dunn & Cameron working in a traditional and nontraditional wedding setting and they absolutely hit it out of the park both times.

Excellent food, even better service

Well Dunn (Rhiannon specifically) were amazing to work with. We got quotes from almost 10 DC area caterers, and Well Dunn was the only one to fully itemize their proposals, making it easy to compare. Once we signed, Rhiannon was always incredibly responsive and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted within our budget! Their townhouse is beautiful and their rental selection is great. On our wedding day, they privately served apps and drinks to us after the ceremony, and we were the first to be served our meal! They sent us home with leftovers, which we didn't even realize would happen! Their waitstaff was attentive and very quick, glasses were never empty and empty plates didn't linger for long

Well Dunn is the best in the DMV!

Lindsay and the Well Dunn crew were simply amazing. We narrowed it down to 5 caterers to use and Well Dunn as only 1 of 2 that actually obliged in doing a tasting before we made our decision!!! They earned our business and Lindsey with Well Dunn was so easy and collaborative to work with. We changed our minds vs a couple times with food and all we ever heard from Lindsay and team was "we got you!" . And the best thing is they didn't price gauge us at all!! As we currently live in NYC and frequent 5 Star and Michelin restaurants, these guys are the real deal! Lindsey will make sure you are covered. We loved Marcos, our private attendants during the ceremony - He literally was the BEST. No task too big too small for him and he was always there when we needed him. We are thankful that our wedding manager Julie Park with Birch Event & Design brought them to us! If you aren't using them then you are seriously missing out.

The catering manager, Cameron, is a consummate professional with impeccable taste - he made sure every single detail was taken care of! The food and signature cocktails were incredible and got tons of compliments from our guests - and the staff were courteous and quick! Fantastic, Elegant, Exciting Food

Our top priority was having delicious food that guests would actually remember for the right reasons. We didn't have a ton of money to spend, so we wanted to make every last penny count. Well Dunn worked closely with us to make sure that our vision came through. Our custom cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres (Figs in a Blanket!), and main course stations were absolutely perfect. Some of our friends had recently returned from South Korea, and said that Well Dunn's BiBimBap station was better than what they had eaten in Seoul. Well Dunn also happily worked with us to cut up and present some cheese wheels that we purchased locally. We were truly thrilled with the food and presentation and would happily recommend them to anyone in the DC area!

We LOVED working with Well Dunn, especially Cameron Doucette. We had a hard time narrowing down the menu because we loved so much of what we saw and tasted. Everything was beautiful and delicious and did not lose any quality when being served to our wedding of 220- in fact I think it was even better. Food is important in my Italian family and they went above and beyond to give our wedding a personal touch (Italian dessert spread, cannolis, His and Hers hometown late night sandwiches). The best part about working with Cameron was that after our initial decisions, he seamlessly worked behind the scenes liaising with our wedding planner, florist, and beverage company to give us top notch execution and service. Our space was beautiful, the service was flawless and our guests were more that satisfied thanks to Cameron and the Well Dunn team.

I cannot recommend Well Dunn enough! They did the catering and so much more for our June wedding and their service, set-up, and food were spectacular. We worked with Yulia to plan the menu and numerous other wedding needs (linens, tables, chairs, staff, bar, dinnerware) and she was amazing. Super flexible, responsive, and worked to accommodate all of our needs. We had some special dietary requests that were all met with a smile. The food was amazing, but we were even more impressed with the seamless set-up and excellent service. One of the staff members stayed on top of us all night, making sure we had plenty of food, water, and drinks! Additionally, they had to completely flip a ceremony space to the dinner space in under an hour and that was accomplished without any delay or frustration. We could not have had our dream wedding without Well Dunn and I would recommend them whole heartedly for your special day!

I absolutely cannot say enough good thing about Well Dunn!! In all our research, Well Dunn was very reasonable with their pricing and their food easily speaks for itself. It looks amazing and tastes even better. Our POC was Natalie, she was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful when asking for suggestions on food and specialty drinks. We even had a last minute (week before the wedding) switch with a separate vendor, and Natalie was able to substitute something for us which was very helpful. All our guests RAVED about the food, especially the desserts!

My husband and I worked with Natalie for our wedding reception/party in April 2018 and we are absolutely delighted with our experience. Natalie was extremely professional and super accommodating with our menu to fit my husband's dietary restrictions. DEFINITELY GO WITH WELL DUNN CATERING AND WORK WITH NATALIE!!! It was an absolute dream working with Natalie at Well Dunn Catering as the decor and food on our wedding day was amazing!! Natalie was there for us every step of the way: from picking the appetizers to the welcome drink to the table settings to the linens and of course, the final meals. We did an open house tasting first, which we highly recommend because you get to try a wide array of food to help narrow down the choices for your tasting. Our tasting was SO fun and the food and wine were delicious -- HIGHLY recommend the short ribs, they were a huge hit at our wedding and guests were coming up to us saying "hands down best food at a wedding we have ever had." Natalie was extremely responsive, incredibly helpful and insightful, and overall a pleasure to work with--always so friendly and cheerful, which made the process so enjoyable. On our wedding day she made sure that we had our own server that ensured we hydrated and ate throughout the night, which is really important because a lot of couples don't eat on their wedding night! I have used Well Dunn for my work events and will definitely continue to hire them as their entire staff is amazing.

Steve, Yulia and the staff at Well Dunn were awesome! My husband and I were amazed by their patience and creativity in helping us create our dream menu for our wedding. They were able to help us craft a unique plated dinner menu that featured excellent vegetarian, meat, and fish options, and that incorporated sustainable, local ingredients. The team at Well Dunn were always prompt, friendly, and professional in their communication, the food was unique and exceptional, and the servers and bartenders were courteous and expertly trained. We received tons of compliments on the food and I understand that some of our guests even tried to requests seconds! We are so happy we chose them! Event Details: Wedding for 200 people, September 2017, Purcellville, VA

Upon our planner's recommendation, my hubby and I attended an open house at Well Dunn in DC in search of a caterer for our tented wedding. Once we tried the food we were hooked. We contracted with Well Dunn and worked on a menu in preparation for the tasting. This entire process was fluid and simple even though we were indecisiveness. They were kind enough to allow our families to join us at the tasting and it was a treat to share that experience and the planning process with them.

On our wedding day we knew we were in great hands with our coordinator, Yulia! They were extremely professional, the service was excellent and the delivery was superior. I had many guests tell us that the food was hands-down the BEST they had ever had at a wedding and I could tell from their empty plates when we did our rounds. From the tasty bite-size appetizers, to the perfectly cooked steaks and juicy fish, to the late night snacks - we were beyond pleased. Moreover, the presentation and design was exactly what my hubby and I had hoped for.

In short, Well Dunn is a fabulous catering company and I highly recommend them for your wedding! I am so happy we hired Yulia and her team of experts!

Highlights:
*Allowing us to bring our own liquor, wine, and beer and still serving our guests (to include our signature cocktail!)
*We had a non-traditional ceremony where we did not process out afterwards and instead stayed to take pictures with family. Some of the staff came over to our location from the cocktail location and fed the family that was taking pictures with us! We were so grateful.
*Dinner service was well coordinated and the dishes all came out at the same time for each table.
*Having our own personal server running after with refreshing drinks before we even thought to ask and ensuring we were fed throughout the evening.

Well Dunn is aptly named as everything they did for our wedding was just that… WELL DUNN!! Our coordinator Cameron, was patient and professional with all of our questions; he helped assemble an outstanding team that made both our ceremony and reception SPECTACULAR!! Cameron at Well Dunn was such a pleasure to work with!
We had a Scottish/Celtic wedding and he was so excited to help us pick a menu that fit with the theme but would also appeal to all of our guests. The food and service were exceptional; he even had a server dedicated just for us and set up a little back room for us to sneak off and eat together! I also really appreciated how transparent the whole process was; he was happy to explain how different options or requests would affect the prices, and used his expertise to advise us in all things wedding (we trusted him so much, we were asking him non-food related questions, like where he thought we should set up the DJ).
At the end of the evening, he even sent us home with a box of some of our favorite foods and desserts - it was great to relax and snack with my new husband after all the guests had gone!
I would highly recommend Well Dunn, and especially Cameron!

Highly recommend checking out Well Dunn. They were very willing to work with us on an initially modest budget where other caterers were not. Their food and desserts were top notch and got several unsolicited compliments from our guests, our contact was very responsive and organized, and their staff were highly professional. Catering is likely to be the most expensive part of your wedding (it was for ours), so going with Well Dunn will help ensure you get your money's worth.

Well Dunn was amazing to work with. They have done some really fancy-shmancy events, but they treated our humble wedding event as if it was equally important as any other. They were very respectful of our desire to keep our budget down and made helpful suggestions for us to do so while still having an absolutely lovely event. They were always super responsive, and had a positive attitude - it felt like they were as excited about our event as we were sometimes. And THE FOOD was DELICIOUS. Many of our guests commented during and after the event that it was the best wedding reception food they'd ever had. It was super yummy! We had a fall wedding and some five months later, our guests are still raving about the food. Cameron was our assigned staff and he personalized our menu to reflect the three cultures we would be incorporating in the wedding without ever losing stride. Responsive, creative, kind staff who will give you options that are tailored to your needs/dreams. The servers they used to staff the wedding were top notch, including the one solely tasked with making sure my husband and I were fed and hydrated in all the hustle and bustle of the wedding. We'd never have gotten to taste our cocktail hour food/drinks if it were not for her and Cameron's coordination with our wedding planner.

We absolutely LOVED our experience with Well Dunn. My husband and I were married at Anderson House on Oct. 22 and I was absolutely blown away by Yulia and the team at Well Dunn. Everything from the tasting to the day of service and food was exceptional. People cannot stop raving about how great the food was at our wedding. Obviously you see the reviews, Well Dunn is amazing. They catered our wedding and were simply fantastic. I would wholeheartedly recommend them. We worked with Rhiannon and she was absolutely lovely. Writing from the perspective of mother of the bride, I can say this was the best catering experience I've ever experienced. The service during the event was perfect, even though I think it was a reasonably challenging event: temporary kitchen facilities, outdoor cocktail hour during which time they had bar service and passed hors d'oeuvres and had to switch over the set-up of the venue from the ceremony to reception/dining seating. The food was exceptional. The pricing seemed fair, especially given the quality of the food and service. The people my daughter worked with in planning the wedding, and who I met at the event, were remarkably nice. They went "above and beyond the call of duty" in ways large and small. I highly recommend this business.

Phenomenal food and the finest in customer service - what more could you want? We had the true pleasure of working with Cameron Doucette at Well Dunn. He and the WD team made our son's wedding a huge success. He listened to their wishes and managed to achieve a fusion menu that was delicious and beautifully presented. Choosing a caterer was a stressful experience for me--my venue limited me to a list of about 8 caterers. I envisioned a casual southern barbecue wedding, not a very elaborate event that seems to be more standard in the DC area. I also wanted to keep the price somewhat reasonable and not go crazy. After talking to one caterer who was not very responsive and didn't really tailor the menu to my idea of a southern barbecue theme, I wondered if it was hopeless. Then I contacted Well Dunn and I actually got excited about the possibilities! The person I was connected with "got me." The proposal blew me away, there were some really great ideas that fit perfectly into my southern theme. I went to an open house where I was able to sample the food and witness firsthand the level of service they provide, and committed after that. Well Dunn was so easy to work with, and so accommodating along the way. I never felt pressured like they were trying to upsell me. My venue was a blank space, so they took care of all of the tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc. When I walked in to the reception, it looked exactly as I'd envisioned, it was beautiful, simple elegance. And the food! I've never had wedding food like that! For appetizers, the pimento cheese sandwiches and crabcakes were the best. Then for dinner we had shrimp and grits, corn soufflé, braised short ribs, roasted vegetables, and a few other items, all absolutely delicious. Guests continue to comment on how great the food was, including my southern friends and family. Well Dunn was so professional and the food was delicious. I highly recommend going with them!

I used Well Dunn Catering for the catering and decor for my bridal shower. They were amazing to work with, incredibly responsive, and perfectly executed my design vision! My husband and I wanted to do tasting stations for our wedding and also include one station with Filipino food (my husband grew up in the Philippines). When we were in the process of choosing our caterer, we felt that Well Dunn would be the best possible option, and it did not disappoint.

We had the pleasure of working with Natalie, and she and her team were very accommodating about our wants for the reception. Not only did she let us do an additional pre-wedding tasting, but she also helped us come up with the vision for the wedding. The moment we walked into our venue, we were floored by the way everything was set up. The food was absolutely delicious, which our guests raved about, and Natalie made sure that my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night.

There are not enough words to describe how much we loved working with Natalie. We had a very large wedding, but there was never any doubt that Natalie would nail every detail and ensure it all went effortlessly. That was a great feeling. We had lots of questions along the way -- any many, many e-mails -- and she responded to each one quickly and with all the information we needed. She is a total, total pro. Beyond that, the table settings were gorgeous -- totally made the space -- and the food was amazing. We had a vegetarian wedding, and we are still getting comments from guests about how they didn't know a vegetarian meal could be so creative or delicious. I still have dreams about their twice baked potato hors d'oeuvres. I truly couldn't recommend Well Dunn enough. They were the biggest single reason why our wedding was as awesome as it was, and we are so grateful.

We had the distinctive pleasure of working with Yulia Shegai from Well Dunn catering for our wedding on 6/4/16. Yulia is the simply best. She is a joy to work with, is extremely knowledgable and accommodating, and always made us feel as though we were a priority. There was nothing of Yulia that we asked that she did not provide. This includes accommodating our crazy schedules and allowing us to have multiple tastings just so that we got everyone in our family could be involved in the decision making. Simply amazing! On the day of our wedding, the staff was superb. They went above and beyond to make sure our guests were well taken care of. In fact, one guest commented to me that they felt like royalty from the time the walked in the door to the time they left at the end of the wedding. What a compliment to the quality of Well Dunn's service! And Yulia specifically went out of her way to do something truly special for my husband and I, and we will never forget it. Yulia and the staff was also extremely flexible when due to things out of our control, the timeline had to change a bit on the day of the wedding. The guests never had any idea that happened though because the Well Dunn staff pulled it off seamlessly. We'd recommend Yulia and her team 100% to all future brides and grooms. We had Well Dunn cater our wedding at Fathom Gallery in DC. The food and service were outstanding, staff was very friendly as well.
Augie worked with us leading up to the event and was there on the day of to make sure everything goes on without a hitch.
We received a lot of compliments about the food. The process of selecting the menu and all rental equipment was easy and Augie made great suggestions. Well Dunn coordinated all deliveries and did a great job setting up. The space looked beautiful.

Rhiannon Swanson of Well Dunn Catering was personable, detail oriented, and great to work with in every way. She spent time with us on every stage of the planning process and made our wedding day exactly how we wanted it. Her effort in making our wedding day special exceeded our expectations. We used a space, Epic Yoga, where we had to bring in all the equipment. She coordinated with all of our vendors and worked especially well with our planner, Rebecca Sparks at Rex & Regina Events, who was also amazing. The look of our wedding was exactly what we wanted. She had great suggestions for table, chair and linen rental. The food was amazing. Many of our guests said that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We used ACE beverage for alcohol at Rhiannon’s suggestion and were very happy with the bar and drink selection. Rhiannon had great suggestions for drinks as well as food. Guests raved about how friendly and attentive the staff were. Every detail of our wedding was executed perfectly. Our wedding day was even better than we had imagined and we have Rhiannon at Well Dunn Catering to thank for that.

I worked with Rhiannon on the food for my wedding 10.11.15. She was a true pleasure to work with. Very accommodating of my and my husband's dietary restrictions and tastes for food. Everyone loved the food, from the lemonade before the ceremony to the appetizers to the main course. I also appreciated the server assigned to my husband and I-- I have heard stories about couple not eating on their wedding day, but we got to taste pretty much everything and got a hearty to-go box that came in very handy later that night. The service was excellent; my only concern was people at tables were asked what they wanted, rather than what they ordered, so choices were switched last minute (as I am sure happens). However, everyone was fed and happy by the time the dancing started. I had many guests ask who did the catering and was glad to say Well Dunn proudly.

Well Dunn did a wonderful job catering our July wedding at Woodend Sanctuary. We worked primarily with Yulia who was amazing. She's such a professional and knew the venue really well. Throughout the planning process, she was always quick to respond, she listened to our ideas and requests, and asked questions about important things we never would have thought of. We put a lot of thought into selecting our caterer since we knew they would be managing so many things on the wedding day- rentals, set up, event flow- in addition to the food and drinks. Yulia made us feel very confident that she was paying attention to our needs and would be responsive and available in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. She and her staff totally delivered on the wedding day. We didn't have a wedding planner and thanks to Yulia (and our DJ- who Yulia recommended) we didn't need one because they coordinated so well.
And, very importantly, months later people are still telling me how much they enjoyed the food! We did a southern inspired buffet which was delicious.

It is hard to say enough about Madeline and the Well Dunn team. Quality food was extremely important to us and they did not disappoint, we have gotten a ton of comments since the wedding that they changed peoples perceptions of what wedding food could be. It was also important to my family to provide their own alcohol and the Madeline was more then happy to work with us. The staff at the event was exceptional and met all of our requests. Above and beyond Alex who was our personal server was incredible, during photos and the cocktail hour he made sure that we always had a drink and had our own hors d'oeuvre's. We worked with Yulia, who is the most prepared, professional, and reliable event coordinator I have ever met. We didn't have a wedding planner, so she went the extra mile and made sure that our plan was thorough and that we didn't miss any detail. She was always responsive to even the smallest request for information or assistance.

Every detail of Well Dunn's preparation and execution the day of the wedding was perfect. Not just good or great... perfect. I had to step back a few times and just take it all in. The entire staff made sure the venue was prepared well ahead of time, and they did a fantastic job. Many details we didn't even notice until looking at pictures in the days after the wedding.

The waitstaff was extremely attentive and courteous to everyone. We had a server, Sonya, assigned specifically to us. When I couldn't find anyone else in the wedding party after the post-ceremony photos, Sonya helped me out, all the time offering me drinks and hors d'vores.
Many people told us stories of the bride and groom not getting a chance to enjoy their meal at their wedding. Well dunn made sure that didn't happen to us. We were at a sweetheart table, and they served us first. They even brought out our entrees well in advance of the other tables. They made that suggestion so that we could socialize at the guests' tables while they were still eating and we were finished. It was a great idea. One of many suggestions by their staff that evening that were extremely helpful in making the event so enjoyable for all.

Speaking of the food... it was phenomenal. Sometimes you'll hear meals at weddings referred to as "wedding food." It's not a compliment. Usually that means dry, overcooked meat and fish. Several guests complimented us on the meal saying, "that was NOT wedding food!"

Well Dunn deserves the absolute highest praise. My only regret in leaving this review is that I've run out of space, and there are not enough stars in the ranking system.

Well Dunn was our caterer for our wedding and they absolutely blew my mind. I cannot even put to words how great they were to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. We personally worked with Yulia, and she is as top-notch as it gets. I honestly do not know how I could've gone through the planning process without her. Yulia was so incredibly patient and always willing to help. She was so incredibly responsive as well. I have to admit, I was probably a total nightmare to work with because I could not make up my mind about anything and I was literally making decisions two days before the wedding--but you know what? Yulia followed through, she executed a flawless wedding. She absolutely KILLED it. I wouldn't be surprised if she's eventually going to be running the place.

The wedding day, Yulia was so bright and lively. The staff, were impeccable and their service was unmatched. The staff were so professional, friendly, and seemed so happy to be there!

The food. I can't stop talking about the food. I honestly think Steve Dunn needs to come out with a cookbook or restaurant because the food was amazing. I kid you not, at least 30 people came up to me and told me that the food was the best wedding food they had ever had. And, most of my friends have been to at least 20+ in the past 3 years.

You cannot go wrong with Well Dunn. They are THE best in town. I can't wait to work with them again!

We love Yulia at Well Dunn!!!! She is just the best. Amazing all the things she can juggle! We didn't have a coordinator, so she was a huge help. I didn't worry about a thing the day of the wedding; Yulia and her staff were always there to get me to where I was supposed to be and keep me hydrated and fed (important!). Well Dunn catered our wedding and they were fantastic. Natalie was our rep and she was so easy to work with and so very accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic. Not much else to say-they were perfect and the guests are still raving about the food. Such a great choice of caterers for our event. I've been to hundreds of catered events and the food is rarely anywhere near as good as it was at our wedding. The milkshakes were a nice touch!

We were so pleased with the Well Dunn experience. Event Coordinator Madeline Zavesky ensured that I was her only client that weekend. She was very responsive initially when we were “shopping around” for caterers. Once everything was confirmed, Madeline was on hand to provide general guidance and field frantic questions and requests. I didn’t hire a wedding planner and I didn’t need one. From start to finish, our experience with Well Dunn was everything we could have asked for and more. Working with Madeline was such a pleasure -she was super responsive, always willing to go the extra mile for us, and knew the ins and outs of our venue in such a way that we always felt like we were in trusted hands. My husband and I chose to use Well Dunn as our caterer, not just because of how yummy the food was, but because we felt so good about our initial meeting with Madeline. On the day of the event, everything went incredibly smoothly. The food was cooked to perfection and we received so many raves about the filet mignon from our guests. How often do people walk away from a wedding remembering the food? Well, with Well Dunn, everyone absolutely did. At the end of the night, we were sent off with a basket full of leftover treats which we happily enjoyed as we relived the best night of our lives.

Yulia at Well Dunn is epic. She was helpful, responsive, and flexible. She knew the venue (the Anderson House) very well and set up the flow of the wedding perfectly. I did not have a wedding planner, so she took the initiative to ask for contact info for all of my vendors to help coordinate the day of. The staff on the day of the event was also amazing - they made sure that my husband and I ate, had enough water, and (of course) never had an empty drink!
We LOVED the food, and our guests were raving about it as well. We feel lucky to have found Well Dunn - the whole reception went very smoothly, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you Yulia and Well Dunn!

My husband and I recently got married at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. It was an absolute dream. Well Dunn catered our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. The food was amazing (all the guests raved about it). The servers were professional and the bride and groom were taken care of the entire night. The space was beautifully set up. We can't speak highly enough about Well Dunn, especially Yulia. She's extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process (not just toward the end) and really gets to know her clients and their preferences. I had 100% confidence in Well Dunn going into the wedding and every bride wants that! Trust me when I say you would not regret going with Well Dunn for your wedding--they are the best.

Well Dunn was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with!!! We had so many compliments on the quality of the food and the professionalism of the service from our reception. Yulia is SO wonderful and will anticipate anything that may pop up during the planning process. She was incredibly flexible with some of the last minute changes we had to make the week of the wedding. We put together our own flower arrangements, about 20-25 in total, and weren't sure how we'd be able to deliver them to our venue, as our venue couldn't accept deliveries prior to the day of the event. Yulia arranged for Well Dunn to store them for a day and take them to the venue in their refrigerated truck! We also had a waiter who worked with us during the reception and made sure we had all the food/drink we needed. My champagne glass was never empty :) Well Dunn couldn't have been better. Their services are literally worth EVERY penny. Choose them!!

Perfect from start to finish. No other words to describe it. Natalie was professional, creative, and incredibly supportive with planning and working with us on our menu and event options. She was very detail-oriented and truly focused on making sure our wedding was catered exactly as we wanted. When it came to the day itself, the entire Well Dunn team was spectacular. The preparation was fast and flawless. Throughout the evening, the Well Dunn team ensured that all of the guests were well cared for, as well as paying special attention to the bride and groom. The food was simply fantastic and all of our guests were pleased and we are still receiving many compliments 6 months after the event. We used Well Dunn Catering for a seated dinner for 60 people and the food was delicious. They would serve one table at a time and have 3 or 4 waiters come to the table all at the same time so everyone could eat together. The staff we cheerful and professional and the Sea Bass and Chicken dishes were EXCELLENT. All my guests were raving about how good the food tasted.
Prior to the dinner, the planning was professional and helpful keeping stress to a minimum. We worked with Madeline Z and she was a delight; helpful, flexible and knowledgeable. She made us feel at ease and that we could craft the kind of special event we wanted.
It all went off without a hitch and we all had a great time. I was so impressed, would definitely recommend Well Dunn Catering for your DC wedding.

Well Dunn catered our wedding in October 2013 and did a spectacular job! We wanted to have our food served station-style for a fun, laid back feel but still have some unique dishes and a quality that would blow everyone away. Madeline Zavesky and the Well Dunn team went above and beyond in every way. Besides their fantastic options - of which there are a huge variety - they had no problem accommodating our many special requests including Kosher meals for an Orthodox Jewish couple on my husband's side, a hot chocolate station with apple cider donuts, and a table with fruits/veggies/cheese/crackers/finger foods (included to appease my parents who feared our choices for the passed hors d'oeuvres might be too "foodie" for some). We were also greatful that we were allowed to try pretty much whatever we wanted at our tasting. And Madeline offered some great suggestions on seating arrangements for the ceremony and reception when we scheduled our walk-through of the venue. She was extremely on top of everything and never missed a beat! We very highly recommend Well Dunn!

Well Dunn was amazing to work with for our wedding reception! Natalie was a pleasure to work with and was on top of every detail. She was incredibly thorough and communicated with us during every step of the planning process. Antonio was the lead at the reception and he did a great job of ensuring that everything went smoothly and keeping us in the loop. We didn't do a tasting pre-event since we didn't meet the threshold, but several guests commented that this was the best wedding food they'd had. Our only regret is that we didn't eat more of it ourselves!

I highly highly recommend Well Dunn for event catering! First and foremost, the food was delicious and I happened to notice that all of our wedding guests literally cleaned their plates. Secondly, I had such a positive experience working with Natalie. She really knew what she was doing and I trusted her every step of the way. She was very professional and always responsive to my questions. She provided great guidance along the way. In fact, I trusted Well Dunn so much, that I decided to ask them to take care of anything and everything else they could provide (such as the dancefloor, etc). Lastly, the night just flowed so smoothly due to Well Dunn's organization, experience, and great staff. We received many compliments on the service throughout the evening. Well Dunn really went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding day. My new husband and I are still talking about how happy we are that we chose Well Dunn to cater our wedding.

Madeline and the Well Dunn team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was spectacular. They not only provided delicious and beautiful food (for which we received many compliments), they also communicated with our other vendors to make sure everything was perfectly coordinated and ran smoothly the day of. The Well Dunn staff were incredibly professional and attentive; many of our guests commented on how well they were taken care of. Madeline even kept an eye on weather radar to help us avoid the rain at our outdoor ceremony (success!). I was very impressed with Well Dunn catering. My mom and I were very overwhelmed with planning my wedding, and would constantly (at least on a daily basis for like 6 months) contact Well Dunn's coordinator with questions related (and sometime unrelated) to catering and she was extremely responsive and professional (and patient!). And, aside from that, the food was really, really good. Many of our guests commented on how good the food was, and how the Well Dunn was able to meet their dietary needs/restrictions. On the day of the wedding, Well Dunn had a designated person follow us around throughout the entire evening, providing us with appetizers, drinks, dinner, and anything else we may have wanted. We were actually able to enjoy the food and drink at our wedding because of this service! I would definitely recommend this vendor!

We couldn't be happier with the job Well Dunn and Madeline did for our wedding. From our early discussions about menu options through the tasting event and all the way until the end of our wedding, everything was top-notch, professional and very flexible. Madeline was very easy to work with and made excellent suggestions throughout the process.

We had special beer and dessert requests that were fulfilled without any problems, and the service on the night of our wedding was impeccable, as many guests noted. And the lines at the bars never got more than a couple people deep. The hors d'oeuvre and entrees were delicious; we even had one friend tell us that he's never had good short ribs at a wedding but that these were amazing.

We didn't realize how amazing and helpful it would be to have a server dedicated to just the two of us, but it really made us feel even more special and make sure we didn't go hungry or thirsty as we've heard other couples have at their weddings.

Next time we have a big event that needs catered or if anyone asks us for a caterer recommendation, Well Dunn will be our immediate answer.

One of the best decisions I made was working with Well Dunn. Yulia and her team were outstanding.

We were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding because we had full confidence in Yulia and her team and knew everything was taken care of.

Throughout the planning process, our questions were always answered in a timely manner. it was also extremely helpful to be given options/recommendations when we had trouble making decisions.

Equally as important, I have received numerous compliments on the quality and quantity of the food.

Part of me wishes I could do it all over again so I could work with Yulia and Well Dunn because they were simply the best!

I worked with Madeline at Well Dunn and I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. She was such a pleasure to work with, always so responsive, and was really good at suggesting things when I would get indecisive. Everything at the wedding turned out amazing and our guests still continue to talk about how delicious the food was. My dad even wanted to ask for leftovers so he could eat it the next day! They were super accommodating and all the servers we had were professional and very attentive to us and all our guests. They certainly played a huge role in making our day so special!

Choosing Well Dunn as the caterer for our wedding was one of the best decisions that we made throughout the whole process. The food was amazing, the service spectacular, and the pricing incredibly reasonable for the quality you get!

I contacted several different companies and in terms of food selection and price Well Dunn far surpassed every one of them. We provided our guests with the option of a filet or a crab cake. There was not a single plate with food on it at the end of dinner- it was absolutely delicious. We had so many guests come up to us raving about the food, and we are still receiving compliments two weeks later. The wait staff was unbelievable. They were quick, professional, and most importantly kept the wine glasses full all night long! I do not have a single complaint about working with this company and will be recommending them to everyone I know for weddings and parties. They were AWESOME!

I can't emphasize enough how important your caterer is to making your special day go smoothly and look beautiful. Madeline, at Well Dunn, is absolutely fabulous and I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to work with her. She understands the big picture of your wedding day and provides ideas, suggestions, and advice for how Well Dunn can help make it perfect. She's pretty much doubles as a wedding planner! Madeline worked with all of the other wedding vendors to make sure everything was in sync and running on the same timeline. Moreover, she went above and beyond to give me my fairy tale wedding. We met at least 5 times and emailed constantly to get the table settings and menu selection perfect. Madeline is so kind and professional and is never annoyed with all of her bride's demands :) She even made a s'more bar possible at our wedding! We supplied all of the s'more components and she had her waitstaff set up the table and man the fire. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Madeline at Well Dunn again in the future!

Using Well Dunn for our wedding catering was the best decision we could have made. I read a lot of reviews during our wedding planning and found them very helpful. So believe me when I say all of my comments here are honest and fair.
Customer Service:
Madeline Zavesky was a dream to work with from our very first contact to the final dance of the evening. She made herself available throughout the planning process and even helped us with some non-catering details. When we arrived at the venue she was the first face we saw. Madeline quickly made sure we were pleased with how everything was set up and we immediately knew she had everything under control and we could just enjoy the evening. Because of her attention to detail the entire night went off without a hitch. Amazing!
My daughter was assigned a waiter who stayed with her all night. He made sure the bride & groom got hors d’oeuvres while they were having their photos taken, brought them drinks, and even fanned her when she got hot. He was her personal attendant.
Many of our guests have remarked on how fantastic the dinner service was. The formal style service with all the meals being placed for each guest at the table simultaneously was impressive.
Food
The food was delicious. We knew how good the food was from out tasting but when you are preparing so many meals at once, sometimes the quality suffers, not with Well Dunn. I wouldn’t have thought it possible but the food was actually better at the wedding than it was at the tasting, and better than any high end restaurant I have been to. Madeline and the chef even took great care to serve one of our guests with celiac disease a gourmet gluten free meal, and two vegetarian meals as well. Our guests are still calling us to rave about the food.
Overall, Well Dunn gets an A+

I couldn't be happier with the services provided by WellDunn! Everything from the initial contact/outreach to the final product and service was great. Yulia and Hallie were great to work with and were very accommodating to some of my last minute requests and changes. And, the service for the beverages and food at our wedding were amazing. All of our guests had a wonderful time and we continue to get comments about how good the food was. Also, we had someone making sure we had food and drinks throughout the evening. They even made up warm plates for us because we had been busy visiting with some guests while dinner was served. Also, I didn't have an official wedding planner, so my close family friend who was also attending the wedding as a guest was helping. She was so pleased with all of the help she got from all of the staff at WellDunn throughout the evening with logistics, etc.

Overall, I was very pleased with the results and had a wonderful time at my wedding!

I am so glad that I worked with Yulia from Well Dunn for our wedding catering! She was an absolute joy to work with – she was very responsive, diligent, and thoughtful. Well Dunn helped me understand all my options and choices, and I never felt pressured. Yulia was extremely thorough, cheerful, and made the whole experience fun. Our tasting was unbelievable – we got to try all the items we had previously picked out, plus a few others they wanted to show us. We ended up selecting some of their suggestions, and we were so glad they had prepared them for us. On the wedding day, everything was seamless, from setup, to cocktails, to dinner, and cleanup. They were especially good at making sure that my groom and I had everything we needed, and that we had plenty to eat and drink. Well Dunn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We worked with Yulia and she was exceedingly responsive, accommodating and professional. She was very quick to answer every one of my many, many emails and made wedding planning from overseas very simple. Yulia already knew our venue and was great at giving suggestions for the layout and flow of the evening.

We and our guests loved the quality of the food and professionalism of the staff at the wedding. Everything was delicious and was just as we had remembered from the tasting.

We had Javier assigned to us through the night and he really made the whole evening run so smoothly. He was always there with a drink, something to eat or even a fan when I got off the dance floor!

Well Dunn catered our daughter's wedding last week. Everything was perfect. Madeline Zavesky was a pleasure to deal with. She responded immediately to every request and made great suggestions. Well Dunn Catering was one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding and we never looked back. Well Dunn was amazing. Steve Dunn, the owner of Well Dunn, coordinated our event and he was so, so much more than just a caterer. Steve is a kind, fun, caring individual who really wanted to make sure we had the best wedding possible. He was willing to accommodate even our craziest whims and make them a reality -- for example, when he made sure we had homemade heart-shaped ice cream sandwiches in our favorite flavors. How cool is that? Steve also has impeccable taste and served as a quasi-event planner for much of our wedding planning, giving us advice and guidance on everything from the color scheme to the seating arrangement. In fact, I think some of our favorite ideas and concepts for the wedding came from Steve. He is also incredibly thoughtful -- he made sure that we got to sample each of our main courses, and even sent a late-night snack to our post-wedding hotel suite in case we were hungry after all our dancing!

And the food... oh the food. We had several tastings because we couldn't decide between so many wonderful dishes, and everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. Steve understands how to tow the line between making amazing dishes that are a huge cut above typical wedding food while also making food that a large number of (often picky and discerning) guests will enjoy. And our guests raved about the food -- many of them said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. My husband still can't stop talking about their homemade pretzel bar snack, and the Pimm's Cup Steve created as our signature cocktail is still my favorite drink. Finally, Well Dunn was wonderful value. Having received quotes from other top DC caterers, we know that we got great bang for our buck.

I would highly recommend Well Dunn Catering for any wedding, and if you can get Steve to coordinate your event, consider yourself extra lucky!

Well Dunn catered my wedding this past year, and they were fantastic. A little hard to nail down at first, but once we were able to meet with them in person, they were fantastic. Prices were really reasonable and they knew everybody involved in the wedding from the florist, to the venue manager which made things so much easier logistically. We worked with Ric, and he was a total professional and managed everything wonderfully. The appetizers were so delicious (mushroom tarts are to die for), and the main course was great, too.

My only complaint was that they ran out of main courses, which I think was due to the way they served the food (they brought out platters of the main courses and served table side vs. plating beforehand). A lot of our vegetarian guests ate fish, and so they ate up some of the fish dishes instead of the ravioli they were supposed to get.

Additionally, Well Dunn brought along what they called our "personal butler", Javier. His job was to make sure my husband and I ate first, constantly brought us drinks, and even fanned me when I got too hot! He was wonderful - I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

At the end of the night, Well Dunn packed a little basket with leftovers and desserts for us with a bottle of champagne. It was such a nice touch and we devoured it in the hotel after!

All in all, I'd totally recommend them!

Well-Dunn Catering did an exceptional job catering my September 2012 wedding. I worked with Madeline M. and she did a fantastic job from start to finish. First, Well Dunn is incredibly organized and detail oriented. Madeline made sure that every detail was taken care of during both the planning process and during the event. She patiently answered every question I had, and made sure that we had everything we needed. I trusted her judgment and left all the details (and even some decisions!) to her. Having never planned a wedding before, I was so grateful to have someone made sure I didn’t forget anything.

Second, the execution on my wedding day was flawless. The setup was on time and looked amazing. Most importantly, I didn’t have to spend any of my time or energy making adjustments or following up on anyone. Everything was taking care of in the assigned time framed and was perfect. In addition, Well Dunn assigned a server just to take care of the wedding couple; I can’t say enough about how helpful it was to have her. She made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the night—she even made sure we sat down to eat our dinner!

Finally, the food was excellent. I received so many compliments on the food. I wanted simple, delicious, and local food. Well Dunn put together the perfect menu. This is not your average wedding fare of dry chicken and boring salad—this was restaurant quality on a large scale. Plus, the tasting was phenomenal. We sampled many hors d’oeuvres, wines, and entrees in their beautiful townhouse/office.

We had a fantastic experience with Well Dunn. Madeline was wonderful to work with and the food and service were excellent. We wanted the food to reflect our taste and be great quality. All our guests gushed about the food!

Where do I begin? How about from the beginning? I am sure you can understand that when I first started shopping around for caterers, the possibilities were endless. Well look no further. I narrowed down my (extremely thorough) list of caterers to 2. The menus were similar, the prices were similar, the reviews were similar... but the one thing that the other company was missing was YULIA. She was responsive, friendly, patient and helpful. She is the #1 reason I chose Well Dunn.. and boy, what a great decision that was.

She remained all of the above throughout the entire process. We invited our mom's to DC for the tasting. My mother is quite a "food snob", and my mother in law is quite picky with her food, so Well Dunn was up for a big challenge. Not only were were all impressed, but they were more than happy to make the changes that were requested.

Now, I need to talk about Javier. Javier was our waiter during the tasting. We were so impressed with his professionalism that we requested that he be at our wedding. Well, we got lost in the piles of to-do-lists and forgot to follow up with this request. To my surprise, Javier approached me on our wedding day (needless to say I was so happy to see him), and said that he made sure that he kept his schedule open for our wedding day, and that he would be our own PERSONAL waiter throughout the night. Trust me when I tell you, you will not have time to eat. Well, Javier made sure that we had our own appetizers during cocktail hour (he was standing to the side with a silver platter as our pictures were taken), my champagne glass was never empty... and when I was sweating from dancing... Javier pulled out a fan to cool me down. I literally felt like a Princess. We nicknamed him "Saint Javier".

Well Dunn has amazing food and most importantly (trust me on this one) the best staff you could ask for. You WILL NOT regret choosing them as your vendor!

Without question, choosing Well Dunn to cater our wedding was the best decision my now husband and I made leading up to our wedding. I can't say enough good things about working with Well Dunn, and working with Yulia in particular. From our first meeting through post-wedding follow up, Yulia was extremely professional, warm, accommodating, and responsive. She completely understood the vision we had for our reception, and made it more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Well Dunn customized and created new menu items for us so that we could acknowledge our family traditions, and executed them brilliantly. And beyond all of this, the food that Well Dunn makes is amazing! I would order anything I ate at our tasting at a nice restaurant, and I wish there was a way I could eat it all again. I got so many compliments from our guests on how good the food was, and I saw very few plates that weren't empty heading back to the kitchen. Additionally, the service provided by all the catering staff that night was top-notch. We even had a server assigned just to take care of the two of us for the night; he was always nearby to take care of whatever we needed, including a pocket fan to cool us down on the dance floor!

I would recommend Well Dunn to anyone, because I think all brides deserve to have as perfect of a wedding reception as I did!

Working with Well Dunn Catering and Yulia specifically was a wonderful experience. They listened to us and helped craft a perfect wedding day menu for us. We're both foodies and didn't want "typical" wedding fare. Yulia gave us many great suggestions and incorporated our suggestions and changes to create amazing food. Our guests are still raving about the food saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had.

Yulia and her team were wonderful from the beginning. They took an interest immediately and were attentive and responsive from day one. We talked to several caterers and none of them had the warmth and interest that Yulia and her team did. Creating great food is only part of it. The details make or break things and Well Dunn's attention to detail made our wedding extraordinary. From the linens to the place settings to the wait staff - everything was perfect.

I HIGHLY recommend Well Dunn Catering. They made our wedding truly an amazing experience.

Well Dunn did an outstanding job for our wedding. The food was fantastic but their best asset is Yulia Poukalova. She was great from the very first meeting through the day of the wedding. She made us feel like we were her only clients. She was responsive and patient with all of our ideas and questions and even made changes for us with ease up to the last minute. Yulia even dropped by on the night of our wedding to wish us well even though she wasn't officially working our event.They are a one-stop shop as we got food, linens, chairs and table settings through them. Everyone commented that the foos was great and that their staff was wodnerful. Our wedding was indeed Well Dunn!

We had our wedding at the National Museum of Women in the Arts last weekend. Well Dunn was definitely our best vendor choice. We received so many compliments on the food and the amount of servers present during dinner serving our guests. We had 175 people at the wedding, but everyone seemed to receive their food at the same time. Lots of comments from guests about the attentiveness of servers.

Yulia was amazing. From the beginning, she listened to everything that we said. She wanted it to be perfect for us - not just easy for them. She always gave us options, but never pressured us to make one particular selection. Yulia was just so flexible and competent. She made us feel like we were in good hands during the whole planning process - and she really proved that we were on our wedding day.

Lastly, so many people told me I wouldn't eat anything at my wedding. Yulia made sure that we enjoyed the food too. It seemed like someone was always behind my husband or me with an appetizer - and the head server waited to put our entree down until we got there, so that we would be able to eat it hot.

I would highly recommend working with Well Dunn & Yulia.

What a fantastic experience we had working with Well Dunn and our representative, Yulia. Yulia put together an incredible evening for us and our guests. The food was amazing, the staff responsive and professional, from the very start we knew we were going to have the perfect wedding reception. Our guests are still talking about it. All I can say is wow. The service and food by Well Dunn is fabulous and far exceeded my expectations. Our main contact and coordinator (Yulia) was beyond amazing -- so organized, responsive, and detail orientated. I am convinced she is a secret super hero...Also, we are still receiving compliments on the quality of the reception service and the food. Throughout the planning process, we did not worry about our reception at all -- Well Dunn is truly a five star organization, and they made culinary magic happen even under a small tent next to the venue. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, worry free reception beyond compare.
