Wedding 9/24/22 (McGuirk/Parker)

Debbie Saag with Weekend Wedding Warriors was incredible for our wedding at Gardencourt. We hired her in June 2021 and she was so helpful along the way. She suggested wonderful vendors that we used such as Beauty Patrol, Rose and Honey and Hay DJ. She was quick to reply to emails and even did a virtual meeting a few days before the wedding to go through every detail. She did a fantastic job of coordinating vendors. Our wedding day was stress free thanks to Debbie. She provided a VERY detailed timeline of the day which was so helpful. She went above and beyond (even going to pick up our keg and a trash can to put the keg in). I felt so calm on my wedding day thanks to her and her assistant, Mary. I definitely recommend using Weekend Wedding Warriors!

Alicia is a SAINT!! The BEST decision we made was hiring Weekend Wedding Warrior. They pulled together my vision flawlessly and there were A LOT of details. I know Alicia and her team handled so many things that I'll never hear about, but they were professional, on top of everything, and we got SO many compliments about how smoothly the wedding went. WWW made my micro wedding dreams come true!

After deciding a micro wedding in Louisville was the best fit for my husband and me, I called Weekend Wedding Warrior to help me with all of the details. Maggie is worth her weight in GOLD!!! Every detail was thought out, she knew all the right questions to ask a bride/vendor, and she relieved any stresses I had about getting a wedding together in a short amount of time. I loved the wedding day timeline she provided and her process of revising the timeline to make sure the day ran smoothly. She is a timing magician and knows when an extra 10-15 minutes will help tremendously. Little bitty wedding or big wedding, Weekend Wedding Warrior will make sure your day is perfect!

A total must for your big day

Hiring WWW for your big day is the single most important decision you can make when planning your wedding. I knew I had done the right thing when EVERY SINGLE vendor I spoke to gushed about how amazing Maggie and her team is when I let them know she'd be coordinating day-of. I am a huge control freak, very organized and can be a micromanager. After a few conversations with Maggie, all of that left me. The resources WWW provides gives you all the tools you need to plan, and their support day-of put you at ease. Maggie has a way of keeping schedules on track but being TOTALLY relaxed about it. Every single person in my bridal party commented on how instrumental she was to making our wedding day perfect. If I had to do it over again, I would hire Maggie and probably pay double.

Katherine was the best wedding coordinator ever and exceeded my expectations. She was super organized and helpful at every step of the way- from vendor recommendations to sending me pictures of setup at my wedding venue- she made sure everything turned out perfect on my wedding day. Maggie with Weekend Wedding Warrior was a Godsend for my wedding! She made the wedding day stress-free and worry-free for everyone (especially for my mother who wanted the big day to be perfect)! Before the big day, she was always there to answer any wedding questions we had. She helped make sure everything ran smoothly the day of & that we stayed on track of the schedule. She kept in touch with all of my vendors to make sure they arrived on time. She dealt with any of the mishaps that happened during the big day so that my mom and I didn't have to worry about dealing with it and could enjoy the special day (I didn't even know about them until weeks after the wedding). She even brought my husband and I cocktails and appetizers while we were taking pictures! Throughout the reception, she kept checking in with us to make sue we didn't need anything! I loved that my husband and I were able to actually enjoy and take in every moment of the best day of our lives-- all thanks to Maggie!! Definitely one of the best decisions I made for my wedding!!! Maggie at WWW was worth EVERY PENNY. I was debating getting a wedding coordinator in the first place, but after multiple friends told me it was a must, I went with Maggie after she put me completely at easy during our initial phone call. The term "month of coordinator" is used lightly here, as Maggie was 100% crucial during my entire planning process. She provided me with tons of vendor recommendations, answered a million random questions, and was just the most helpful resource to have on my team. During the month leading up to the wedding, Maggie took over all my vendor communication. After months of planning everything and being in control, it took me a few days to get used to the fact that I actually didn't have to worry anymore -- everything went flawlessly! The day of my wedding, Maggie executed the event perfectly, and if any little hiccups happened, she made sure that they were not on my radar. Couldn't recommend Maggie and Weekend Wedding Warrior more -- THANK YOU!

The absolute best decision we made- Maggie by far gets MVP for our wedding. We were on the fence about hiring a planner but I honestly can't imagine having pulled this all off without her- she made the entire weekend completely stress-free for me and my mom, allowing us to completely indulge in the festivities and not worry about anything other than having fun and taking it all in! Can't recommend enough!! Also, every other vendor we worked with (including venue, 21c) was thrilled we had hired her because they all love working with her so much!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Debbie and WWW for making our entire wedding experience an ENJOYABLE one! Debbie is the reason why we were able to let go of all of the worries that come with planning a wedding remotely, and we were able to fully experience the best day of our lives. The day went by without a hitch and we received nothing but compliments on how smoothly everything went, considering how complicated our wedding was (300 guests, 50 entourage members, two different venues, shuttles, performances during the reception, so many different vendors and setup times, the bride forgetting her reception dress at the hotel, etc.). We owe our day to Debbie and can't recommend WWW enough.

Of all the money my husband, parents and I spent on this wedding. Weekend wedding warrior was by far the best "purchase". Alicia was my "warrior" and that she was! I had my wedding at the Frazier museum in downtown Louisville. I was supposed to get married on the rooftop but it decided to rain! Alicia made sure that my vision of a relaxed rustic fun cocktail hour was still able to happened and nicely asked the frazier to flip our ceremony to the side where the food was just so we wouldn't ruin our cocktail hour set up! I never had an empty glass! She even took some pictures throughout the night and sent them to me the next day! She times the music for the bridesmaids to walk out to. I can't say enough about how amazing she was that night and is as a person! She's fun and gets it done. And then at the end of the night she put all of my decor in my car! She is amazing! Weekend wedding warriors are worth every penny ESPECIALLY if you want to do all the planning yourself but need someone to execute your day for you!

Maggie at Weekend Wedding Warrior was so so crucial to making our wedding weekend vision a reality. We planned our wedding remotely from California and from our first call I knew we were in good hands. She's laser-focused on every detail, incredibly kind and supportive, and a true warrior. She made everything behind the scenes flow smoothly, set-up our wedding flowers and table place settings to be even more gorgeous than we could have ever imagined and ensured that my new husband and I had a beautiful stress-free day while likely putting out a million fires. At first, I was admittedly hesitant at getting a wedding coordinator, but my venue required it. After using WWW for coordination of my wedding, I don't know how we could have done it without them. My warrior was Alicia, and she was absolutely amazing. She took care of the few problems that came up, and it was just a godsend having her there to answer questions and find things as needed. Having a coordinator was so helpful, and I'm so glad that I went with WWW. Everyone was so nice and easy to deal with. I felt so comfortable and confident with them in charge!

In one sentence: If you want the best day of your life to be worry-free and also give the (in our case "false") appearance that you have your act together, go ahead make an investment worth its weight in gold and hire WWW.

There are many things you can live without for your wedding, but sound coordination and feedback is not one of them.

A year in advance of our wedding in Shelbyville, KY, we booked Nikki Deese with WWW who is now expanding their services to Nashville. Thanks to Nikki and WWW, all logistical details went off without missing a beat the day of. Convinience for our 250 guests was key for us, which meant there were a lot of "trains" that needed to run on time. From the timing of the shuttle bus service to the timing of breakfast delivery for the bridesmaids, to the ceremony itself-- of which was in a location different from the actual reception-- everything went smoothly. Our guests even noticed/were commenting about the high level of efficiency and convinience of our wedding---thanks to WWW. To us, that meant success.

We cannot begin to put a real pricetag on Nikki and her services at WWW. Not just the month leading up to the wedding, but the entire year before we were able to get in touch with Nikki about the smallest and most junior varsity wedding questions and details--- and she was more than happy to help and in a timely manner. She doesn't just tell you what you want to hear, but provides helpful input from someone who has coordinated and seen countless weddings.

And it's not just Nikki who is great--- we know of several weddings that used WWW that were just as much of a success.

Maggie and her team at Weekend Wedding Warrior are absolutely fantastic! Words will fall short to describe how much easier she made our lives leading up to the wedding. From the initial consultation to the walk-through and timeline meeting to the big day, we felt completely at ease that everything would run smoothly because the day and our 300+ guests were in Maggie and Allie’s capable hands.

I was continually impressed by the level of detail that WWW considers, and was enlightened to gaps in my own checklist just from our conversations. Most brides experience some level of anxiety surrounding their important day, but I have to say mine registered very low. I know that would not have been the story without the help of Maggie and WWW.

If you’re like me and enjoy putting your stamp on the planning process, decisions and special details but need a little help getting things across the finish line in a seamless and beautiful way – Weekend Wedding Warrior is for you. I felt 100% confident that when I handed something off to Maggie (which I have trouble doing in any capacity as I’m a bit of a control freak!) it would be handled with the utmost consideration and care. She gently prodded me to take things off my plate the week of the wedding. Who wants to deal with (re)confirming the transportation timeline or when something goes bump and you have 1438493 other things going on? Thankfully, I didn’t have to.

From an execution standpoint, the day of the wedding was an absolute dream. We had a lot of family things going on outside of the wedding sphere (because the world doesn’t stop for this day, as much as we’d hope it would!) and I can honestly say that I felt not one iota of nervousness or hesitation about anything happening at my church or reception hall. I knew it was handled. Weekend Wedding Warrior was one of the best decisions we made in terms of vendors for our wedding. We had ~250 largely out of town guests at our wedding with multiple vendors we had booked for the day. Basically there were a lot of moving parts to our wedding. Maggie and her team did an amazing job taking the stress of managing the day-of logistics off of our shoulders. She made sure everything ran smoothly, did an excellent job coordinating with all of our vendors, and did a great job scrambling to cover any last minute surprises on our wedding day. Having her there allowed us to truly relax and just enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about any issues with vendors, schedules, etc. She even arranged for champagne, pizza, and wedding cake to be brought up to our room at the end of the night! We would definitely recommend Weekend Wedding Warrior.

Hiring Wedding Weekend Warriors was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. When we first met with Maggie, she really listened to the vision we had for our wedding and helped us come up with a game plan for which vendors we needed to focus on first. She helped us find vendors in our area that fit our budget, matched our idea for the wedding, and were available on our date. About three months before the wedding, Maggie set up a walk through at the wedding venue to go through all the logistics and details. She did a wonderful and thorough job asking about the small , but significant, details to help us think through everything. We definitely still felt like it was our wedding we were planning, but she offered wonderful advice and suggestions. Then as the wedding got closer, she organized everything with the vendors and the Wedding Day was perfect coordinated. We had an outdoor wedding and it rained the week of, the day before, and the day of. Maggie was always available to talk through back of situations and then on the Wedding Day, she made the fact that it was raining not stressful at all. Luckily the sun came out right as the wedding ceremony started and it turned out perfect.

We had so many compliments about our wedding from our guest and we can attribute a lot of it to Wedding Weekend Warriors. Our families and us were not stressed the week of the wedding because we knew our big day was in capable hands. The services Wedding Weekend Warriors offered perfectly complimented our wedding by allowing us to design our wedding and pick our vendors, but Maggie was always availble to offer guidance and direction and then she perfectly executed the Wedding Day.

Alexis was my coordinator for my May 2015 wedding and she was out of this world fantastic. I didn't realize her true value until the rehearsal, when she took over and let me just be the bride. From that moment I didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy my wedding. She ran that timeline like a boss, helped me get my vendors paid, brought me food, cake and drinks all night, helped me with my dress in the bathroom, and kept everything running smoothly while still discreetly checking in with me throughout the night. I can't emphasize enough how glad I am that I had her by my side. The beauty of WWW is that you make all your own choices and sign the contracts. If you need some recommendations they can give you suggestions. When it is closer to the day they take over. They make sure all your vendors come and on a timeline they develop. They handle all the logistics of setup, delivery and glitches. They run rehearsal and all the day of drama. Our coordinator was amazing! I will be calling her when my other daughter gets married!

We were so happy that we hired Maggie! At first I wasn't sure that it would be necessary, but my mom lives in another state and was stressing out about not being here, so she hired from Weekend Wedding Warrior, and we got Maggie! She was indispensable to the wedding, talking to all of the vendors and getting things set up before, creating a timeline to the minute for the day of, and making sure that everybody was where they needed to be. She even made sure the groom and I had appetizers and drinks ready for us when we arrived to the reception! She made sure the band leader knew what was going on, and her timeline helped all of the vendors with their planning. I had absolutely nothing to stress about on the day of, and more importantly, neither did my mother. She also gave great advice on vendors, helped me know what kinds of things are typically included in the ceremony and reception (like a unity candle, who is in the procession, ways to be named, when toasts/cake/first dance/bouquet toss happens), and helped me know what I needed to plan. We did a walk through a few weeks before the wedding, where we went to the venue and planned out where everything would go, where our entrance would be, and how we would get there, which was a great help. She worked wonderfully with my cousin who did the decorating, my priest, my reception venue coordinator, my caterer, and my photographer (who turned out to be hard to work with). I do not know what we would have done without her!

A native Louisvillian, I planned my wedding from out of town and WWW was the first vendor I booked based on a couple of recommendations from other brides who no longer live in Louisville. Absolutely necessary!

To reiterate from WWW's website and other reviewers, you plan the wedding, but they execute. This was particularly critical in the days leading up to our wedding when last minute issues came up -- and trust me, they will arise. Our day had significant variables thrown our way; marriage license issues, possible rain at Whitehall, definitely 15 degrees colder than we'd anticipated, having to redo the rentals as a result of said weather changes, officiant almost missed her connecting flight the day of -- and with Alicia's calm and decisive manner she guided us through it all.

As an aside, Alicia took several of my favorite candid photos of the day. I think that's a testament to her professionalism, constantly being at the right place at the right time. She also took the time to meet with me whenever I was in town, even if this was outside of her working hours, because she understood my limited ability to come in for wedding planning.

In sum, my pragmatic parents went from "Why are you spending this much on a coordinator?" to "We could NOT have had this day without them."

I could not have been more pleased with the Weekend Wedding Warrior services! Best money spent on my wedding hands down. I worked with Nikki Deese and was so impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail, and just overall beautiful personality. My wedding day timeline ran so smoothly and I have Nikki to thank for that. She even went above and beyond her call of duty by having our hotel reimburse me for our champagne toasting flute that was accidentally dropped by their staff. This was after she researched numerous websites to see if she could reorder and personalize the flute herself. And as if that wasn't enough, she even delivered the damaged flute to my house because she figured I would want to keep the original flute for sentimental reasons :) I seriously do not have enough good things to say about Nikki and WWW. I hope this review will help brides consider having a true warrior but their side on the big day- I promise you will not be disappointed!

Words can not describe how happy I am with the decision to use a Weekend Wedding Warrior. Alexis was amazing from the beginning. She was there when I had questions and always there to calm my pre-wedding nerves with positive words and advice. When a few things got jumbled up wedding week (limo sold, priest had a death in the family) , she was there to fix them without me even having to get involved. Not to mention they were fixed for the better.

Another perk about using a Weekend Wedding Warrior is that they have an unending list of contacts and connections with vendors. Alexis had worked with many of the vendors I chose making that communication so easy.

I can only imagine how stressful it is to be organizing everything to make a bride have her dream wedding and Alexis did it with a smile on her face and what seemed to be effortlessly. Not only did my family and my husbands family love our Weekend Wedding Warrior but also, our wedding party. THAT SAYS ALOT! I have been in weddings where the coordinator is non-existant or extremely bossy... not ours. She got the job done in a positive professional way. Because of Alexis, I was able to have the dream wedding I had always dreamed of having.

This was truely the best decision made for the wedding ... besides falling in love my with Prince Charming of course :)

It was so great to work with the Wedding Warrior because I didn't hire a professional wedding planner when I got married in July. My Mom and sister were extremely helpful, but I didn't want them to be handling the last minute details on the actual wedding weekend...I wanted them to enjoy it with me! This is where the Wedding Warriors stepped in. A father hopes for a perfect wedding for his daughter...a wedding that will go without problems and will remain a lifetime of memories. Maggie did just that and so much more. From the very beginning she answered questions , gave helpful suggestions, and was always there for us. The rehearsal went perfectly and the day of the wedding was unbelievable. Maggie made it happen. She put all the pieces together so that each vendor (flowers, band, etc. ) knew when, where and what to do. It was a wonderful evening and a perfect wedding. I knew planning a wedding from out of state would be difficult on my own. My daughter and I wanted to be involved in the planning but needed support. After researching planners and coordinators we found Maggie to be the perfect solution. I did not realize how much support I would really need until the wedding was upon us and she did not let us down. Thanks to Maggie's "vendor suggestions" early on we were able to create what I called the "Dream Team". She put us in touch with the best of the best and her suggestions made all the difference in the world. We met with Maggie about two months before the wedding and I walked away feeling like I was in great hands and felt such relief. She was very detail oriented and left no stone unturned. Maggie had everything organized from the rehearsal to the end of the reception. It was like we had a safety net under us. I honestly felt like a guest at my daughter's wedding. I could concentrate on the important things like the bride and groom, my family, and guest. It was a perfect day and we could not have done it without her. We absolutely loved working with Maggie at Weekend Wedding Warrior!! We booked her early, and it made it all the difference. She gave us the gift of time, and reduced stress. In addition to employing Weekend Wedding Warrior for planning/coordinating services, we also paid for vendor recommendations (florist, dj, photography, cake, etc.). We wanted to know the vendors we were choosing (and putting deposits in with) would provide quality services, and this helped us feel more confident about that. Since Weekend Wedding Warrior had worked with the vendors recommended before, it took out the guess work.

Throughout the planning process we were made to feel even better about having booked Maggie. When we would mention that we were working with Maggie vendors and venues alike would speak very highly of her and our decision to work with her. Many also said they did their best work when she was involved because she ensured they had all the information/details they needed for the wedding weekend, and served as a point of contact for them throughout the weekend.

Two months out Maggie jumped in and helped us organize our timeline and think through all of the details (many of which we hadn't thought about ourselves). She offered advise/guidance to make the day run more smoothly and to ensure we didn't miss anything we may want. Her involvement the last couple of months made a world a difference, not sure what we would have done without her.

By the time the wedding weekend arrived we already knew how much value Weekend Wedding Warrior was providing us, but we received so much more that weekend. From the rehearsal through the reception Maggie led the way making sure that we didn't have to be the ones watching the timeline, giving people instructions, etc. She also did so many other things that made me, as the Bride, feel comfortable and at ease and allow me to interact with my friends and family as much as possible.

Alicia was beyond FANTASTIC! We booked early in our planning process per my MOH suggestion (she had used their services for her October wedding and had been thrilled) Booking them so early in made the whole process so smooth. It always felt like I had a knowledgeable friend who was ready to help with any questions that I had. Always a quick turnaround in response and always made me feel like I was her only bride. The week of/rehearsal and wedding day all went extremely smoothly. My family and I were able to just enjoy being around each other and the excitement of the day. If anything went wrong, we still have no idea. I'm pretty sure we all gave her a huge, sweaty hug at the end of the night.

If you are even remotely on the fence about them, the price, or the services - don't be. Book them. Book them now. You won't regret it.

Since we knew all of the vendors we wanted to use, WWW was a great service for our scenario. Our "warrior" Alexis was very helpful with keeping everyone in line. My husband I were married in February 2014 and while I knew I could handle making decision about venues, flowers, and the look and feel of our wedding with 300 guests, I was worried about bringing it all together and executing everything without becoming stressed and overwhelmed with the process and details. I know we could have not pulled off a seamless and stress free wedding without the help of Alicia and Maureen.

Alicia was able to provide excellent expertise to create a floor plan and flow that kept our 300 guests from feeling like herded cattle. And, her timeline for the wedding weekend was a godsend. We knew exactly where we needed to be at every minute of the day. Alicia made sure we were prepared for everything before I even knew to think about it. They also contacted all our vendors and coordinated their arrival times so my family and I didn't have to worry about that in the week leading up to the wedding or the wedding day. Alicia's confidence and experience made me and my parents feel so relaxed and calm throughout the day so we could just enjoy the special time. During the reception Alicia and Maureen were amazing in keeping us on schedule and taking care of my husband and I. From making sure we had food and drinks to even adjusting the temperature of the room - they took care of everything, and I felt like I had a friend by side.

Hiring Weekend Wedding Warrior was the best decision we made during the planning process. If I had to plan my wedding again, the first call I'd make would be booking Weekend Wedding Warrior again. They are truly amazing!

The Weekend Wedding Warrior's Alicia Sarantis did an absolutely fabulous job executing my daughter's wedding this past Saturday night. Her professionalism and attention to detail made the evening flow beautifully! I am still marveling at all Alicia did for us. She always seemed to magically appear whenever (and wherever) she was needed. She averted a potential crisis by fixing the flower girl's bracelet and tied the corsages on the grandmothers' wrists. Alicia took charge of the rings and made sure the extra pictures were taken that Jessica wanted. I still have an image of her standing in the corner of the Derby Museum lobby efficiently bustling up Jessica's dress--a full service coordinator! Alicia ran a terrific rehearsal, handed out detailed timelimes and worked tirelessly to make everything follow that timeline on the wedding day. She even used her magic powers of organization loading all the gifts, props, and left over cake into the back of my car at the end of the evening. I can not say enough how invaluable her services were!! We were able to relax and enjoy the wedding because Alcia was running things so amazingly well.
It wasn't just on the wedding weekend that we depended on Alicia. While my daughter and I were planning the wedding, whenever there was a question, we'd always invoke the "What will Alicia recommend?" and then one of us would send her an email. Alicia always answered the emails promptly and thoughtfully. Alicia never seemed to say, "No". She always found a way to make Jessica's many, many visions be part of her special day. I wholeheartedly recommend making her a part of your wedding weekend, also!

My husband and I got married in Louisville in October 2013. We had a rather large wedding - about 275 guests - and we were worried about coordinating all of the details with so many people, especially since we lived out of town. We can say now that hiring Weekend Wedding Warrior was the best money we spent on the entire wedding. Maggie and her team were incredible. They were so organized, professional and very responsive. The timeline that Maggie created was the main reason that everything went according to plan on our big day. She thought of details that we would never have remembered! She also coordinated with all of our vendors so that we didn't have to - we could simply relax on the day of the wedding and enjoy every minute. My parents were relieved that she was there to make sure everything went smoothly, including the coordination of 3 buses taking guests to and from the church and reception. I simply cannot say enough about Alicia Sarantis! She was absolutely wonderful helping us plan our wedding. I cannot imagine having to do all of the organization, dealing with vendors, etc without her. We had torrential rain the day of our wedding and some issues with the venue and Alicia was incredible! She handled everything without even worry me about it and made the wedding come off without a hitch. As a project manager in my day life, I have a full appreciation for people who plan for a living and do a really good job of it. Morgan Cooper, our wedding coordinator, was simply top notch. From the coordination of our vendors and our wedding timeline down to making sure we were in the right places at the right time, she exuded professionalism and the kind of detailed organization that truly went above and beyond my expectations.

I simply cannot imagine having had this wedding without Morgan and her assistant, Maureen. Literally, I think they are the best value wedding coordinators out there -- they were worth every penny and then some.

If you are on the fence about having a coordinator, just do it. No, seriously. These women are the best in Louisville and will turn your wedding into the well-oiled machine that it deserves to be.

Maggie, the owner, was incredibly responsive from the first meeting and made sure that we had the right coordinator for the job. If every coordinator that she hired is as wonderful as Morgan and Maureen, she is certainly doing the right thing.

Hiring WWW was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process! Morgan was truly a God-send! I live out of town, but she skyped with me and met me when I was in Lexington for the first time after contracting with them. The last several weeks, she was able to organize all the details of the timeline, confirm with the vendors, and thought about a number of things I hadn't. Alicia with Weekend Wedding Warrior helped coordinate our wedding, and she was absolutely amazing! We went back and forth between hiring WWW, but in the end, we are so glad we did. I couldn't imagine trying to pull off our wedding without their help! We hired Morgan Cooper with Weekend Wedding Warrior for our 9/7/13 wedding and we couldn't be happier that we did! Let me start by saying I am not easy to work with period but even worse when it came to my daughter and future son-n-law's wedding. I can not even begin to explain how helpful the Weekend Wedding Warrior was to me while planning my wedding and especially on my wedding day, and I mean the entire team of Warriors! Alexis was absolutely amazing in knocking out tasks all day long and keeping everyone on time. She was able to multitask throughout the day as different vendors came to her with different issues or questions. She was also able to make sure that the focus of the day was what we had envisioned it. Others tried to throw in their opinions closer to show time and she made sure that if it wasn't something her and I talked about, it didn't get added in.

When our photographer decided to email me the day before the wedding and let me know he wasn't coming, the Warriors were on a mission to find a replacement and within less than 24 hours, they had sent out a new photographer to come take back up shots, just in case. I can't tell you how important this was to me, and they made sure we had an entire paparazzi photographing our every move.

Having Alexis be the warrior at our wedding was the best money I spent on the wedding! And I was originally unsure about having a day of coordinator when I was doing all of the planning myself. She thought of all the random small things that someone would have to take care of, or things that we needed to purchase. Even a backup plan in case our outside wedding was rained on. When the big day comes, and you are running through 100+ things in your mind, it's nice to know that someone else has the time and your back to get things done. I swear she was going above and beyond throughout the day, but she swears it's just what her job is. I have already recommended her and Weekend Wedding Warriors to others getting married.

Maggie and Maureen were AMAZING!!!! They made not only our day stress free but also the week prior to the event stress free by contacting and coordinating all of our vendors. I truly believe that Maggie went above and beyond on our special day. All of our guests commented on how organized and smooth everything went the entire day, and this was all due to Maggie and Maureen. Alicia was worth every penny! As my daughter (the bride) said so well, " Alicia took charge when needed, but stepped back when appropriate. Our daughter Katie got married last Friday. Maggie Heely was our wedding coordinator. Our daughter told her Dad that night "This was the best wedding I've ever been to." Of course they are there to help you all along the way, in case you have questions or get stuck or nervous. They are the epitome of professional. I worked with Alicia Sarantis on my wedding. My parents and wedding party loved her - she was great at keeping everyone on track. She kept me to my planning schedule. When things inevitably went wrong on the wedding day (they happen to everyone!), she was on hand to take control of the situation and keep everyone calm. She fixed a muddy spot on my train before the ceremony. She put the guest book and seating cards in place at the reception site since we couldn't get there before the wedding. She hired assistants as needed for our large group. She took such a HUGE load off our minds! In fact, once everything was running smoothly at the reception, she rocked at getting contrant drinks for me and my groom. :) Alicia and Maggie and Weekend Wedding Warriors are the BEST.

Alicia S. from Weekend Wedding Warrior was fantastic. They are not full service event planners, but rather execute the plans brides make. This was exactly what I was looking for, and Alicia is a complete pro! She made sure everything ran on schedule and even delivered two meals from the reception to the hotel for my husband and me at the end of the night. I highly recommend Weekend Wedding Warrior!

Using Weekend Wedding Warrior was the best decision I made! Alicia was our Day of Coordinator, and she was wonderful! She and Maggie both were highly communicative from the start. I was impressed with Alicia's knowledge and experience; when we did our walk through, she brought up things I hadn't even thought of or completely forgot. She listened to all my ideas and ran with them. Any instructions I gave her, she followed perfectly. She was great at soothing all my worries about the ceremony and reception. On the day of, she ensured everyone was where they needed to be and everything ran smoothly. It was so wonderful to be able to trust her to do what needed to be done and especially keep in contact with our vendors. Thanks to her, everyone was able to relax and have fun the whole day. Once again, I cannot recommend Weekend Wedding Warrior's service enough! I feel every bride should invest in a day of coordinator, and Weekend Wedding Warrior is the best!

The Weekend Wedding Warrior team did an outstanding job! Hiring them was one of the best wedding decisions we made. There is so much that goes into wedding planning, and it was great to have knowledgeable professionals guiding us with ideas and suggestions. Being able to meet with our coordinator, Alicia, at the venue for an initial walk-through was so helpful. We were able to discuss ideas and decide on the overall flow of the night. I had lots of projects to be set-up on wedding day, but Alicia and Katie were ready to take on any task I gave them. They kept us on track and made sure we knew what to do at every given point in the wedding reception. They guided us through everything and gave us any updates we needed throughout the night. They handled our big jobs and small tasks with such ease, that I honestly can't picture our night without them! But I'm sure it would have been a lot of confusion and rushing around, and there is no way I would have enjoyed my wedding as much as I did without them. From organizing the rehearsal, to dimming the lights for "historic house party," to making sure the sparklers were lit for our send-off, Alicia and Katie were there making it happen. I am soooo thankful for all their hard work and I recommend that every bride get a warrior for their wedding!

Imagine you are a wedding planner. Imagine that another wedding planner calls you to discuss hiring you to coordinate their own nuptials...yikes. As a wedding planner myself, I saw a lot of raised eyebrows when I told people I had hired a wedding coordinator for my own wedding day. I guess I can see that people thought it odd to hire my "competition" but I never saw it that way...our community as wedding professionals should be supportive of one another, for one, and for two, I wanted to experience the relief that my services give to other brides. I wanted a day where I didn't work. I wanted to not have to worry about coordinating my huge, 19 person bridal party for the ceremony. I wanted someone else to expedite the meticulous details I had spent months working on. Maggie expertly made all of my overly detailed and specific wedding plans come to life, all the while making me laugh the entire way--a very important quality in wedding professionals :)

Our ceremony was planned to be outdoors; the day of the wedding, the skies seemed like they were going to allow it. Thirty minutes before the ceremony, we made the call to stay indoors, seeing a potential rain cloud on its way. About 5 minutes before our ceremony began, I watched out the window as the sky turned black, lightning flashed, sideways ran came pouring, and a huge tree came crashing over to meet its demise, thus beginning the power outtage. At this point, most brides would panic...I didn't. Instead, I walked down the aisle to see my guests holding candles that I had inexplicably decided to bring, "just in case". Because Maggie was there, this happened with all chaos unbeknownst to me. Our candle-lit ceremony was stunning; as my groom and I left the aisle after the ceremony, the power came back on, and I kid you not, a rainbow appeared outside for our entire cocktail hour. That's fairy tale stuff folks. And it wouldn't have happened so smoothly without Maggie, my Wedding Wizard.

I think that I personally would have been nervous to be hired by another coordinator for their wedding, but Maggie handled it all with complete confidence and professionalism, never once making me second guess my choice to hire her. She was the only person I even considered for the role and I remain 100% confident in that choice. Her personality meshed with mine in the perfect way, and my obsessive compulsions were kept completely at bay by the confidence she instilled in me the moment we first met about my wedding. I never felt like the neurotic mess I'm sure I was and never had to explain the logic, or lack of, in my plans.

This is the job we have as planners. The description of our responsibility means that we have no limitations in what we will and often have to do with grace and without waiver. We're put in situations where we regularly become counselors, decorators, friends, wardrobe maintenance, housekeepers, crafters, hostesses, mediators, etc...the list never ends. But we do it because we get to give people the ultimate sense of relief to focus all energy on the beauty of the day. I was able to enjoy every rapidly passing moment of my wedding day because I hired Maggie to fill the aforementioned roles. She walked into what I would deem a massive challenge and pulled it off without a single mis-step. The best way I can sum up my feelings on this subject is to make this statement: Maggie is the ONLY wedding coordinator that I would willingly work under. Now that's something!

We had the opportunity to hire Weekend Warriors for our daughter's wedding on 6/1/14 and of all the perfect things that happened that day Alicia and her assistant were right there making it happen!
I initially found them on line and when the director of our venue recommended them I knew I had made the right choice! Alicia was a joy to work with and very easy to communicate with. She not only met our expectations she exceeded them. She brought the vision for our daughter's wedding to light!
If you are thinking of using a day of coordinator and I highly recommend you do, Weekend Warriors are my choice. I couldn't put a price on my sanity and stress and because of Alicia and her assistant, my husband and I and our daughter enjoyed the day, stress free and our sanity intact!
