Amazing Experience, Highly Reccomend!
This venue is absolutely amazing. First of all, the site is a historic beautiful house with tons of original pieces like stained glass and hardware on doors. It feels like you're stepping back in time. The fact that it is an all-inclusive wedding made the planning a breeze. Every aspect was top notch, the food/dessert was amazing, decorations were beautiful, the drinks were flowing (so many of our guests said "that bartender was amazing!!!"), DJ Steve absolutely crushed the dance party. They made the entire process straightforward and we knew exactly what the next steps were, how much everything would cost, and what our big day would look like. At the beginning of the process they send a binder with SO much great info that was extremely helpful to plan our big day. The staff was SO accommodating, we would ping them constantly with questions and they would respond quickly with detailed answers or a link for a Zoom call. They are truly pros at this. They made suggestions around our ceremony, order of events, where to do pictures, it took all the stress of the unknown out and made it be the best day of our lives, especially since we planned our wedding in about 6 months. We cannot recommend and thank Sequoia Mansion and their staff enough (especially Amy, you freaking rule!!!). It was a perfect day, all of our guests had an amazing time, and we loved every second of our day and it was all thanks to the beautiful venue and the wonderful staff at Sequoia. If you are looking for a beautiful venue that takes all the stress of planning the minutia of a wedding away, I highly recommend Sequoia Mansion. You will not regret it!!! -

Surpassed our expectations
We planned our California wedding from out of state yet with the help of Amy and the Wedgewood expertise our wedding surpassed our expectations! We got tons of compliments from our friends and family saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! We also got lots of compliments on the food! -

Sequoia Mansion Dream Wedding Venue!
Where do we even begin? My husband Wyatt & I got married here on 6/3/22. Everything was perfect from planning to the day of! The Team here is amazing! We went with the highest tier " Elite package" and we would recommend this to everyone! It included everything we needed for our 125 guest count including an open bar! For those starting their wedding venue search look no further! Wedgewood Weddings include everything you need from food, alcohol, floral/decor, DJ, officiant and more! We really appreciated having most of our planning done and just needing to pick choices rather than find the vendors ourselves with our busy schedules!
We would like to give a few special shout-outs! Mainly to our coordinator Amy who acted more like a family to us than a team member! She was a vital part of our planning before the wedding, the day before planning, and was a leader on the day of! Some special moments with Amy were when she bustled my dress, saved my wedding shoes when I said, "To just cut them off," when I couldn't get my ribbons un-done. She made sure everything was perfect and helped our wedding dream come to life. Another huge shoutout to Bartender Shannon who made Bride & Groom and others feel so loved. Our grandparents even said she helped them out to their car (grandfather in a wheelchair). Finally, shoutout to DJ Steve for keeping us calm, and on time and helping us along the way! Our guests loved the food, decor, and timeline of our event all thanks to Sequoia's amazing team! We would upload more photos but we don't have our photos/video back yet! If you want your wedding dreams to come true, book at Sequoia!

Wedgewood at The Sequoia Mansion was amazing. Jordan (Nicknamed Jordinator the Coordinator by my groomsmen) was the best, she was friendly and helpful and attentive. Honestly a brides best friend. We cannot thank her enough. Hannah, who actually came up from The Sterling Hotel is also amazing. I had to change my wedding venue to keep my guest list intact due to COVID restrictions and even though I had to leave the Sterling Hotel Hannah still came and supported us and helped make our day great. They were incredibly accommodating to whatever we wanted, weather forced us to change from an outdoor to indoor ceremony and they made it look amazing!! The front lawn we wanted to have our ceremony on has such beautiful greenery and natural decor it would have been stunning, But mother nature said no, which of course is not the venues fault, so we moved indoors to the veranda room which still looked amazing, they made everything flow together seamlessly. Our original DJ, also from the Sterling came with us and he was so great, he was also attentive and responsive and even though due to COVID we could not have open dancing he kept a really nice vibe the whole time, planning a pandemic wedding is a pain in the butt but the staff here really made it work, it was beautiful and my husband and I could not be happier. -

Best day ever!!
From the bottom of our heart, thank you for making our day so special and memorable. The location was beautiful and your staff made everything go without a hitch. Everyone was so friendly and organized. All of my guests even commented how lovely the staff were. My husband and I also loved the vendors in the contract. We got along with each and everyone. They were so excited to bring our creative ideas to life. They were also very flexible with any last minute requests. Every detail was knocked out of the park! Jordan was so sweet. She kept the wedding flowing. We never felt rushed and were able to truly enjoy every minute of the day. And on top of all of this, it was for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much for all that you do. -

First, let me start by saying that we planned this wedding from 1,200 miles away. We had one single day in Sacramento to spend looking at venues. Sequoia was our first on the tours. By the time we reached our second, we realized nothing was going to compare to the beautiful mansion. The Wedgewood packages are absolutely amazing and saved me SO much stress in the planning process. We could add or remove any services we wanted and paid a reasonable price considering this convenience. Despite being so far away, I could email any and all of my questions to the team and they'd respond ASAP. They even worked with us on getting the price where we wanted it.
These guys are very experienced and made the whole wedding planning process seamless. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. -

So I had to start planning this wedding while deployed on the other side of the world and let me just say the quality of service at this place is beyond compare. They were super flexible with everything I needed and always quick with an answer when I was trying to figure everything out. They even have three different ceremony locations on site too- two outside and one inside (which we had to mvoe to due to rain). Not to mention it's hard to beat a place that's as all inclusive as they are, especially at the price (shout out for the military discount too). All of their packages are very customizable to fit your needs and you can pick and choose which vendors and items you want and don't want. The only thing I went outside of them for were stationary and a photographer. Overall we spent less than 10K on a Friday night wedding with a buffet and open bar for 60 people. I got compliments all night on how nice the venue was and how amazing the food tasted. I would highly recommend their service to any couple looking to have the wedding of their dreams without having to go through the hassle of planning and searching for vendors while still staying under budget. We are impressed with the value and quality of service and would recommend them to anyone interested in getting married in the area. -
User1175612 Sent on 05/27/2013We just had our wedding their a week ago and it was so much more than what I could have asked for or expected. I first found this place online, I was planning my wedding from 3000 miles away. I need all inclusive and easy as possible. I booked the venue before even seeing it due to a special they had going on and an offer to keep me at my budget. A month later we saw the venue for the first time and I loved it. We were going with a Victorian style wedding so the mansion was perfect. The packages are customizable and everyone worked with us through email, phone calls and in person.
Weeks before the wedding I was able to mail a box to them that was full of wedding day stuff that I did not want to pack or worry about. The women let me know that it arrived and offered to put out my party favors and all the little things I had in the box. I could not be more thankful for their kindness.
I did not go with the photographer they recommend due to the prices. I used Foothill Photography and they were amazing.
The day of the wedding I was able to drop my dress and bag of stuff off before hair and makeup even though we didn't get the venue until 2 hrs before. I felt very comfortable helping myself when it came to going in and out. The bridal room was big enough for about 8 of us to get dressed and even take pictures. Champaign, water, sprite, crackers, cheese and fruit was brought up while we were getting ready.
All my guests said they loved the food, I asked about 5 different tables! I didn't eat much because I was all our the place but what I did eat was great and hot!
Overall I loved this whole experience. I was stress free through the entire thing and owe a big thanks to the Wedgewood employees! -

Susan Sent on 01/31/2016Sequoia Mansion staff (sales and in-event) were great. A beautiful space with really cool bar, friendly folks and a good value for the money. It is two weeks later and we're still getting comments (and repeat comments) from people saying how much fun they had, how great the place was, and how friendly and helpful the staff were. Emily, Diana, and Keri heard our concerns, and worked with us to craft an event that we were very happy with within the structure that Wedgewood created.
We're going to recommend Sequoia to everyone we know who is getting married, if for no other reason than so we can ATTEND an event there and see it from the other side!
