Are you newly engaged and overwhelmed with the beast of a project that is planning a wedding? Do yourself and your partner a favor and hire Weddings With a Twist! I'm not exaggerating when I say that we were a happier, less stressed couple because of Krista and her team. Krista was with us every step of the way from venue tours and tastings to the take down at the end of our night. She's incredibly organized, kept us on track during planning, and her tools made everything straightforward. Most people who are getting married haven't done it before and it can be daunting to even know where to start- which vendors to book first, how to find them, keeping up with communication, organizing the information... I would absolutely hire WWAT to take care of all of that again. We had consultations about our vision for each vendor and then options that fit our style and budget just showed up in our inbox already vetted and with confirmed availability for our day. Like, are you kidding me?? Honestly, the best money spent on our wedding and their price was incredibly reasonable for all you get! I didn't have a voice the week of or morning of my wedding which would have been a crisis if we didn't have Krista! She was there and worked with every vendor, double checked that everything was ready as the day was coming up, and the day of I didn't have to lift a finger. You have no idea how nice it was to have someone who takes care of EVERYTHING and just takes you to where you need to be and when. I can't recommend them enough- hire them and then take a breath. They've got this so you don't have to!

The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding Day! ✨

Krista and her team were beyond amazing to work with! Planning a wedding can be very overwhelming, especially at a private estate venue with so many moving parts, but Krista made the entire process feel so much more manageable for both of us and our families.

She was always there to answer any question we had, whether it was something major or a tiny detail we were stressing about. Her knowledge, guidance, and support throughout the planning process gave us so much peace of mind! Even after the wedding day was over, she continued to help answer questions and make sure everything was taken care of. That level of care and dedication meant so much to us.

When the wedding day arrived, we truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. Krista and her team handled everything behind the scenes so seamlessly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. They took the vision we had been dreaming about for so long and brought it to life better than we could have ever imagined!

Day of Coordinator services

We engaged Krista Dentice, the owner of Weddings With A Twist, as the Day of Coordinator for our daughter’s wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Krista’s extensive knowledge of wedding planning was a tremendous comfort to us, especially since this was our first experience organizing a wedding. In the crucial last six weeks of preparation, she maintained clear and timely communication with all the vendors involved and us. Krista prepared a detailed Wedding Day Itinerary that gave us a comprehensive view of the day's timeline, ensuring we stayed on track—an aspect that I genuinely appreciate. Beyond her coordination skills, Krista went the extra mile by sending us beautiful photos and video clips from the wedding day. So sweet and on top of everything!

Krista and team were so lovely to work with and executed our wedding day flawlessly! If you’re debating hiring WWAT- DO IT!!! We worked with Julia for over two years and she was absolutely amazing. Julia is so organized and just overall so helpful with everything wedding planning, not to mention, she really helped make us feel calm and confident navigating the wedding planning process. Julia was very readily available to us on the wedding day and frequently checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay. There were multiple times over this two year planning process that my now husband and I said, “We couldn’t do this without Julia!”. The Single Best Decision We Made!

Hiring Julia and team was, without a doubt, the single best investment we made for our wedding day. Before they stepped in, we were overwhelmed by vendor finalizations and timeline details. They truly transformed our experience from stressful planning into pure excitement.

Our coordinator, Julia, is a genuine superhero. From the moment we handed over our vendor list, she took control, handling all the final communications, ironing out logistics, and anticipating potential issues before they even arose. She is the reason our final week leading up to the wedding was focused on enjoying our family and friends, not answering emails.

On the day itself, her execution was flawless. The entire timeline moved seamlessly. She was everywhere and nowhere—always discreetly solving problems and ensuring everyone, especially us, felt calm. We didn't have to direct a single person or worry about a single detail.

A Stress-Free Wedding

We selected the day of coordination package from Weddings With A Twist, and we were so glad to have Krista and Alex help us with our big day! We utilized their planning documents and loved the online portal to keep all of our wedding planning organized in a single location. We met with Krista about four weeks out from the wedding, and she was extremely organized and professional in helping us plan for our big day.

Krista took over vendor communication in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and all of our vendors knew exactly what was expected of them to make the day go smoothly. Krista attended our rehearsal and answered questions from our entire wedding party to make everyone feel comfortable and confident for the big day. She took extra time and care to make sure our officiant, who was our friend, had everything we needed. On the wedding day, they were there from when our venue opened until after we left and ensured that the entire day and night ran smoothly. Very few questions ever came back to us, and we’re sure Krista and Alex handled even more than we knew to make the day go off without a hitch. Weddings With a Twist was the right choice to help make us confident that our wedding would be perfect!

Let This Team Manage Your Big Day!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Weddings With a Twist and specifically, Julia. I hired this team as my day-of coordinator and couldn't be happier that I did. I was the bride who thought she wanted to handle everything herself until 8 weeks before the wedding when the realization of all the little "day-of" things set-in. I called Weddings With a Twist and had a call with Julia a few short days later. I knew immediately I wanted to work with her and it was the best decision I made in this entire planning process. Spend your day enjoying your wedding, not worrying about details

Julia and Trina did an amazing job with our wedding! We hired them as coordinators (we had already planned the majority of the wedding at this point) and they made the day SO easy for us. My husband and I didn't have to think about or follow up on anything all day and everything went PERFECTLY! It was also important to us that our family didn't have to spend the day organizing or executing any of our plans; they got to enjoy the day and be present with us and the rest of our family because of the awesome work Julia and Trina did for us! Julia from Weddings with a Twist was our day of/month of coordinator and she and her assistant did an amazing job! She was extremely responsive whenever we had questions and was a joy to work with. Our wedding went smoothly and she made sure we were taken care of on the day. Even when there was a miscommunication from one of our vendors for take down she found a solution without having to discuss with us and it all worked out perfectly. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a day of coordinator for your wedding!

Best decision ever working with weddings with a twist

Julia with weddings with a twist was the best decision I made for my wedding! She made everything so easy for me the month before and on my wedding day. It felt like we've known eachother for years

I found Weddings With A Twist when researching different wedding coordinators. We were paired with Julia and Emily (Julia was our main point of contact). They were receptive to everything we wanted and didn't want for our day and even gave some really good advice on how to handle a possibly tricky situation with a guest. They are super organized and the follow-up is fantastic. I felt like I was working with friends I had known for years. On the day of our wedding, they checked in on us a few times to make sure we were doing well and to see if there was anything we needed.

The BEST wedding planner!

Krista and her team at Weddings With A Twist are the absolute best! They are very detail oriented and helped me with every step of wedding planning. I really appreciated all of their planning resources and checklists to make sure that I wasn’t forgetting about anything. Krista helped me see the vision of the wedding by sending mock up photos of the wedding details and layouts which was great. We loved how the entire day turned out and have gotten so many compliments about how beautiful everything was and how smoothly the day was run. We love Weddings with a Twist!

My husband and I knew we needed help planning our big day, including both design support and day of coordination. Upon talking with a few local Milwaukee planners, we quickly hired Krista and team from Weddings with a Twist. Not only did we feel Krista understood and could support our needs, we also just got a great feeling from her! We worked with Krista to refine our vision for the big day and select a few vendors for various rentals, and most importantly an amazing florist in the area. It was so amazing having Krista by our side to make some big decisions, and even just run a few ideas by her along the way. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, we felt we were in such great hands. Krista showed us she truly cared about making our day as unique and special as we wanted it to be, and she proved that wholeheartedly when we got into some planning discussions leading up to the big day. She asked all the right questions and made the most AMAZING timeline I've ever seen in my life. It was interactive too so we could engage with Krista "offline," so to speak, in between meetings as we continued to tinker with our overall timing and flow for the big day. We appreciated Krista's support on everything end-to-end and frankly wouldn't have been able to pull off a 200+ person wedding without her! Thanks to Krista's expertise, we were also provided access to some amazing vendor recommendations, dos and don'ts for planning, a very robust checklist, and so much more to help keep us on track. The best money we spent on our wedding

Krista, the owner of Weddings With A Twist the an absolute dream of a wedding planner. We started working with WWAT in January of 2022 for our 2023 September wedding and Krista was there for every step. She made the wedding planning process seamless and handled all the communication with other vendors. She made the overwhelming task of planning a large wedding as easy as it can be, even when she went on maternity leave, her assistant stepped in and was completely up to date on every single thing Krista and I had been discussing. WWAT is very organized and thorough, they made us our own personalized wedding website that kept track of our budget, vendor contracts, mood board, and more. Krista was always easy to get ahold of and very flexible willing to move her schedule around to accomodate ours. During wedding weekend, I was stress free knowing that Krista was going to be present the entire wedding and handling all of the set up so that myself, my husband, and my family could all be present with us and not busy setting the venue up. She also took the time to know us on a personal level, so we did not just feel like clients to her. We cannot recommend WWAT enough, she made two people who really did not want a wedding very very grateful we ended up having one, because the day was absolute perfection! Our wedding was so seamless, my best friend who recently got engaged booked with Krista the day after our wedding because she wanted the same experience we had!!

A friend recommended I hire a day of coordinator and it was the best advice I got in regards to planning my wedding. Julia was beyond excellent to work with. She made my day stress free and I could not have done it without her. From setting up my personal decorations on the wedding day to reaching out to my vendors in the weeks leading up, she took care of it all. Julia is your girl!

We just got married on 8/19/23, but hired Julia with Weddings with a Twist in February of 2023. At the 6 month meeting with my venue, I was left feeling overwhelmed and stressed out - I KNEW I needed to hire someone to handle all of the things I couldn't. My biggest stressor was the wedding day timeline - I didn't know where to start or how to put things in an order that made sense. Therefore, I reached out to Weddings with a Twist and Julia contacted me saying she was available - thank goodness! Julia was great right from the get-go. She asked me questions about things I hadn't thought of and she gave me her kind thoughts and opinions on what other brides have done when I was completely lost. I was not familiar of the logistics of weddings and I am so happy Julia was there to guide me along. On our wedding day, everything went SO smoothly. I got lots of compliments on how everything flowed and there is not one thing I would have changed. Wonderful Wedding Planner

We were so happy we chose Weddings With a Twist and Krista was wonderful from start to finish, she even had a baby midway through our planning and no one missed a beat! Weddings with a Twist was truly excellent to work with. The day went absolutely perfectly - nothing went wrong and if it did, Julia handled it without me knowing. There were a few tricky details that I was worried about and Julia took care of all of them. She was friendly, communicative, and detail-oriented. She found multiple issues with our timeline proactively so we could coordinate with vendors to fix them before the day of. And I was very worried we would forget things at the venue since there was a strict cut off policy but she made sure my helpers got every last thing. She was a calming presence and a joy to work with!!

Best decision ever

We LOVED working with Weddings With a Twist for day-of coordination. We hired them because we did not want ourselves, or any of our family members, to feel like we had to work on the day of the wedding to set up decor and make sure all of the vendors were accounted for. They did not disappoint. All of our reception decor was set up exactly how I envisioned it and at the end of the night, they packed everything away so organized and were very efficient. My parents were so grateful for the help of loading everything into their cars. Krista and Laura kept everything running on time and even reminded us that we mentioned on our call wanting to do a table dash for photos, and they made it happen! When we went out to take a few photos while cocktail hour was going on, it started drizzling. Laura showed up out of nowhere holding an umbrella for us which we were not expecting. It was so kind and that did not go unnoticed. She also made sure that our drinks were full and had them waiting at our table for dinner. I will recommend WWAT to anyone planning a wedding. They are so kind and detail-oriented, and as a type A bride, I could completely let go and put my trust in them so we could enjoy our day. Thank you again!

Attentive, Thoughtful, and Helpful

My partner and I hired Weddings With a Twist because we had no idea where to start with planning a wedding. We worked with Krista for the planning portion and Julia on the wedding day. Krista located the perfect venue for us: something rustic and near a ton of nature. She also kept us on track with all the tasks and deadlines. Julia was attentive and incredibly helpful with the final preparations, but most importantly, was key to us running a successful wedding. There were so many day-of unknowns that came up and having Julia gave us the opportunity to fully enjoy the day and coast through it with no stressors. They also setup and cleaned up all the decorations (including our large arch). They went above and beyond and we highly recommend their services to any new couple!

Krista at Weddings With A Twist was hands down the best vendor I hired (out of MANY) for my wedding. She was communicative, responsive, organized, professional, fun and struck the perfect balance of listening to understand my vision for the day, and also infusing her endless knowledge on vendors and the wedding industry to ensure my vision came alive. My day went on seamlessly- in huge thanks to Krista. When there was a catering staffing issue, Krista immediately took care of it and leveraged her own staff to ensure everything got done. 10 out of 10 recommend hiring WWAT for your wedding day- it wouldn't have been a fraction of what it was without them. Invaluable expertise

Krista helped arrange our wedding this June and did an incredible job. My wife and I had no idea how much we didn't know about everything that goes into arranging even a small (50 people) event and Krista really was invaluable to guide us in the right direction and keep us on track and all the pieces that needed to get into place. She's never pushy, but she kept on us when we were dragging our feet and needed to be pushed to make some decisions. It all came together beautifully and we only found out after the fact about a couple of day-of fires that she put out in the morning before the ceremony. Highly recommended to help your event run as smoothly as possible.

Phenomenal!

Julia was phenomenal and I am forever grateful I was able to work alongside her for my wedding day. We had a lot of family drama occur within the last month of wedding planning and Julia was a pro and took so much extra planning and emails off my plate so I could focus on the family. She was very on top of vendor communications, timelines, day-of set up details and everything in between. The portal she sent over was incredibly informative and helped me stay on track with details, tips, and budgets. Our wedding day was a dream, and I am so glad we included the clean-up in our package too. Julia and Clare were a huge help ensuring we were out of our venue on time. I cannot recommend them enough!

We would highly recommend Krista and Weddings with a Twist! Krista did a great job communicating and staying on top of each step as we neared closer to our wedding day. She did a great job laying out road map of what needed to be done and the date that it needed to be done by.
On the day of the wedding she coordinated everything behind the scenes and ensured that the entire day went off without a hitch. It was great to have someone with so much experience and attention to detail. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, we would recommend using Weddings with a Twist to help alleviate stress and make your wedding day special.

Truly fantastic!

I couldn't recommend Weddings with a Twist more highly! We hired Krista and Julia for (close to) their full service package, as we already had our venue and photographer. They gave so much invaluable advice and suggestions throughout the entire process, and it was such a relief to know that from start to finish - someone else was in charge who wasn't me. I only had a vague idea of what we were looking for, as I'm not a big wedding planning person, but every single recommended vendor we worked with was absolutely lovely. Julia made the month of planning a true breeze (given that we had a couple last minute Covid guest related hiccups that were preoccupying my time). We had the wedding of our dreams, and both my husband and I had SO much fun on the day of, and had absolutely zero worries because we knew Julia and her team had everything under control. 12/10 stars, would highly recommend Krista, Julia, and their team to anyone planning their upcoming wedding.

If you're on the fence about month-of coordination, go for it!

We were so glad we hired Weddings with a Twist for month-of coordination! It was a big relief to have Julia handling last-minute confirmations and details. Julia and her assistant were professional and organized and made sure our decor was set up, our wedding day stayed on track, and (especially important for us) cleanup was quick and successful after our grand exit. As an extremely hands-on and Type A bride, once Julia arrived I felt free to just relax and enjoy.

We did experience a minor miscommunication with our wedding party being directed to sit after walking down the aisle, which wasn't our plan - but we also elected to skip a rehearsal due to our weekday wedding date, so we found this understandable. Our ceremony was still beautiful!

We would definitely recommend Julia and Weddings with a Twist for excellent coordination, setup, and breakdown at a reasonable price point.

Weddings with a Twist was wonderful!

We used Weddings with a Twist for my daughters August 2021 wedding and they were a life saver! We had a very stressful experience with our venue but after Julia and Claire got involved the process was much smoother. Julia was very professional and detail oriented. She really listened to our concerns and and her knowledge of the wedding planning process was so valuable. Julia took over all communication with the venue which was a huge stress relief. During the month leading up to the wedding, I had multiple phone calls with Julia. She was extremely organized and eased our wedding day concerns. She took care of details like contacting our vendors and setting up a time line for our wedding day. Julia gave us guidance and advice on things I never would have thought of. On the day of wedding we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. It was completely worth it to me to have the peace of mind to be able to enjoy that day.I would highly recommend Weddings With a Twist!

Best decision hiring Krista

We had Krista as our day of coordinator for our wedding on October 9th. We LOVED her. Our wedding was at a private residence, so having her there to direct, offer advice, help with set up was incredibly helpful. She made our donut wall set up, look like a dream. Even before the wedding, she was in constant contact with us and our vendors. We would highly recommend Krista and her team for anyone looking for a coordinator.

Hiring Weddings With a Twist was the best decision.

We had Julia, Krista and Laura from Weddings With A Twist for our recent Re-scheduled Wedding Reception. As a Mother-of-the Bride this was the best decision I could have made. 18 months ago we started with Krista and she offered great ideas to assist us in the planning process. As many of the new Brides discovered, working things out during Covid could be a challenge. Having extremely qualified wedding planners made it seamless. The group is very professional and knowledgeable about what is needed to get things accomplished and allow the Bride and Groom as well as myself to fully enjoy the day while they handled every detail for us. Julia was fantastic in her follow-up with vendors a few weeks prior and up to the date of the wedding. I can’t say enough about how Julia and her co-assistant Laura took care of everything the day of the Reception. I highly recommend Weddings with a Twist.

Simply Wonderful!!

Krista and her team are simply wonderful! We postponed our wedding multiple times and they stuck with us and always put our minds at ease! She listened to what we needed and catered to our needs! Amazing wedding team for elopement!

I worked with Krista and her vendor partners through Weddings With a Twist for my "destination" elopement in Wisconsin. Since my husband and I do not live in Wisconsin, Krista was so helpful in providing local vendors for all other aspects of our wedding (DJ, cake, decor, etc.). Additionally, the partners that Krista works with (hair/makeup, florist, photographer/videographer) were of high professionalism, flexible with our situation, and easy to work with. Delight to work with

We used Julia and Weddings With A Twist for my daughter’s wedding. It was an extremely wise decision! Best Planner!!

Krista was a life saver helping plan a wedding out of state in the middle of a pandemic. Krista connected me with some of the MOST amazing vendors. And not to mention that literally EVERY single vendor complimented Krista and told me I had picked the best wedding planner. Krista was very responsive, had amazing ideas, and kept me organized. I could not have had a more perfect wedding day, and most of it was due to Krista. She managed day of “surprises” that I could have never even planned for. We loved working with Krista!

Krista is amazing! We truly could not have handled wedding planning without her. Originally scheduled for May, our wedding was moved to October only to be further adjusted to fit current health and safety guidelines. Krista and Weddings With A Twist are amazing! My husband and I are so happy that we got the chance to work with her. We both have extremely busy schedules and Krista was so accommodating. She was always willing to set up meeting times after business hours and attend vendor meetings with us at odd hours. A beautiful wedding during a global pandemic thanks to Krista!

Krista is a lifesaver! Our original wedding date with 250 guests was April 25, 2020. We postponed to July 24, 2020, hoping the pandemic would be over, but when June came around we knew we'd have to postpone again. We decided to still get married with a small dinner celebration after, and that is when I called Krista. I knew I couldn't reschedule the larger party for 2021 AND plan a small wedding AND keep my sanity all at the same time. Krista took care of all the arrangements for our smaller wedding of 35 guests in under 45 days. It truly was the ceremony and celebration of our dreams. Kirsta first found us a smaller, outdoor venue so all guests felt comfortable attending. With outdoor space at a premium, she was able to find us the perfect spot at a decent rate. She worked with the venue and caterer to make sure all deadlines were met and everything was set. She also helped with day-of coordination to make the whole thing stress free. After all that the pandemic threw at us, I am so grateful to have had Kirsta during the wedding process. If you are planning even a normal wedding, HIRE Krista. She knows everyone and was so patient with us as we made last-minute decisions and changes. She thought everything through and truly cared about our happiness on our day. Our wedding was beautiful and I am so grateful for Krista.

I can not say enough good things about Krista & her team

Krista is unbelievable. She planned my sister's wedding a few years back and everything went off without a hitch, so when it was my turn to get married, hiring her was a no brainier. Planning wedding is challenging enough... planning a wedding during a global pandemic is an entirely new ballgame. I could not have imagined navigating through it all without Krista. She felt like more of a friend in times than a wedding planner, helping me make decisions that were brand new to both of us and doing whatever she could to make sure our day was still magical despite all of the new safety precautions. I honestly could not have thrown together the wedding we did had it not been for her constant support. And on the day of the wedding all I had to focus on was enjoying the experience while Krista made sure all the rest was handled and the day moved along according to plan. Highly Recommend!!!

Krista was phenomenal and I couldn’t have gone through the wedding process without her! I did quite a bit of research on planning packages and met/spoke with multiple planners. Krista stood out to me because of her comprehensive approach to the planning process. She took all the big pieces and tiny details and help us put everything together. She not only had a plethora of options based on our requests, but also reached out and acted on our behalves after we made decisions. Our pre-wedding planning meetings were invaluable to talk through things and to make sure we were on the right track, providing guidance where we were unsure of certain things. All of the pre-work she did with all of our vendors alleviated much of the stress that we otherwise would have experienced. Krista took charge on the day of our wedding with a quiet confidence that put everyone at ease and helped the day flow beautifully. We never had to worry that a detail was being overlooked and felt confident that Krista had it handled. Because of everything Krista did, we were able to focus solely on us and enjoy our friends and families on our wedding day. Great experience!

Our 3rd daughter just married in September, 2019. We contracted for a day of coordinator and were delighted with working with Kristin and Melanie. Kristin laid out the overall plan. The day couldn't have been smoother

Krista was so great to work with! She wrote up the whole timeline and contacted all my vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Best investment for our day!

I can’t recommend Weddings With a Twist highly enough! We hired Krista for day-of-coordination, as our wedding had some unique logistic challenges that we knew we would need help with. I knew I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the day without someone experienced that I could trust being there for us (we were confident that we didn’t want to ask family or friends to help out because we wanted all of our loved ones to enjoy the day with us). Krista was a perfect mix of friendly and warm while also being professional and confident. My husband and I knew as soon as we met her that we could trust her to make our day perfect. We hired Krista and her team to be day-of coordinators for our wedding reception in November and we truly made the best choice. She was extremely responsive, well organized, and very reasonably priced compared to the other options in the area. She asked questions that helped me organize and plan for the day, and having her set up and tear down the reception was such a massive help and weight off my shoulders, but on TOP of that they executed it so flawlessly. 100% worth it- I would hire Weddings With a Twist again!!

As my wedding approached, I realized that we needed a 'day-of' wedding coordinator to make sure that we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. Weddings With a Twist was exactly that and more!! Krista, Julia and Trina were wonderful to work with. During the month leading up to the wedding, I had multiple phone calls with Julia. She was extremely organized and eased my pre-wedding jitters. She took care of details like sending our wedding timeline to our vendors, etc. and gave me guidance and advice on things I would have never thought of. Krista was a big part of why my wedding day went so seamless!!! We went with the day-of coordinating package and Krista went above and beyond. She was in contact with all of my vendors a couple weeks in advance to confirm important details and provided her cell phone number in case they needed to get ahold of someone the day of. Additionally, she was behind the scenes and set up all of the small details at the reception. She really put my mind at ease knowing that she would take care of anything and everything and this let my fiance and I (and our families) enjoy the wedding day!! Krista and Melanie truly did an amazing job! I hired them to do my day-of-coordinating and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! We worked with Weddings With a Twist for day-of coordination, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. I can't imagine our wedding without Krista and will be forever grateful for her! She thoughtfully listened to us and delivered on every little detail (even the ones I forgot about). Krista and her staff were a DREAM to work with when planning my daughter's wedding! The service she provided for us was the set up of the reception venue the day of the wedding. We met with Krista a month before the wedding to go over all the details and then again the week before to finalize everything. Krista is so pleasant to work with and is just as detailed as I am, which I never thought I would find! To show you how much confidence I had in her, I never once wondered how the set up of the venue was going all morning until I got a text from her saying it was all done and looked beautiful! With so much going on the day of the wedding, Krista gave me one less thing to worry about and I am extremely grateful! She and her staff also came back to help clean up at the end of the evening packing everything up was a breeze with her coordinating this effort as well. Initially we weren’t sure if we needed a full service planner or just a day of coordinator, but we decided to meet with Krista early on and ended up hiring her for complete planning services. Although we thought that the main benefit would be just keeping us on track with the planning in the midst of busy schedules, it quickly became clear that there were so many more advantages that we had never even considered. Krista did an amazing job getting to know us and our vision and budget, and then was able to provide great recommendations for other vendors (we ended up using almost everyone she suggested and couldn’t have been happier that we did). She handled all of the communication, set up all of the meetings, and was able to attend most of the meetings with us which was so helpful, since she knew exactly what to look for and what questions to ask. She kept track of the budget for us, reminded us of small details that we might have otherwise forgotten, and was always available whenever we had questions. Finally, having Krista there on the wedding day made us feel totally at ease so we were able to completely enjoy ourselves and not worry about a single thing. She helped with setting up the decorations, greeting the vendors, dealing with last minute issues, and at the end of the night she had everything packed up and ready to go so we did not even need to stay and help clean up. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable and organized, Krista is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and we loved just chatting with her before and after our vendor meetings. If you are at all on the fence about having a wedding planner/coordinator, I would strongly encourage you to consider all of the possible benefits in addition to the time and stress it will save you, and hiring Krista was the best decision we made for our wedding and 100% worth it!

My husband and I cannot put into words how grateful we are for Krista and Julia on our wedding day.

Our original wedding planner dropped out about a month before our wedding. I was stressed and worried about all the details coming together. I called Krista because she had stellar reviews online, and her pricing was the most reasonable I had seen. She helped to ease my worries over the phone and assured me she could help me out to make my wedding special.

When we met in person, I immediately felt comfortable with her and knew she would be such an amazing help with the remainder of the wedding planning process. She felt like an old friend assisting her friend with some last minute details.

Our wedding day finally arrived, and if anything went wrong that day, I didn’t know or hear about it. The wedding ran so smoothly, everyone was super happy and my husband and I had a wonderful time. Truly one of the best days of my life. And I owe it all to Krista and Julia. They helped set up the venue space, coordinated with vendors on timing and presentation, and making my day completely stress free.

I cannot say enough great things about Krista. She runs an amazing business and I am completely floored with the service and professionalism. I will be recommending Weddings With A Twist to anyone getting married in the milwaukee area!!

Simply put, the details of our our wedding day - both large and small - came into place thanks to Weddings with a Twist. We hired Krista for our wedding day management; she also helped put together a day-of timeline and coordinate with vendors leading up to the wedding, and she facilitated our rehearsal the evening before. Krista provided absolutely invaluable insight into planning our wedding day and indispensable support on the day itself. While I consider myself an organized person, Krista's experience helped fill in the gaps in our own planning and made sure everything came together.

Planning a wedding is a very personal and intimate experience - even with a 300 person wedding like our own! Working with Krista felt as comfortable as working with a long-time friend. She worked seamlessly both behind the scenes and as a point of contact for our family, bridal party, guests, and vendors. Julia and her assistant Sarah made our wedding day flawless! We hired Weddings with a Twist to handle our day-of coordination and couldn't be more thrilled with everything they did! Julia contacted and coordinated with all our other vendors before and on our wedding day. She anticipated all our needs and did everything we asked for plus so much more! She was so professional and sweet all day long and was always smiling. I had a lot of decor with instructions and when we walked into the ballroom for the first time, everything was exactly as I envisioned and it was something I will never forget. When we got back to our room at the end of the night, Julia and Sarah had brought all our flower arrangements back to decorate the room and it was so romantic, thoughtful, and beautiful. Krista was a last minute addition to our wedding day. We had elected initially to not have a wedding planner/day of coordinator, but as the day got closer, it became clear we needed some help with bringing the whole day together. Krista jumped in with enthusiasm and professionalism. Leading up to the wedding day, she was always available via phone or email, and was extremely helpful with coordinating duties between the venue, florist, caterer, & band. My husband and I were planning our wedding from a couple hours away, at a venue that did not typically host wedding receptions regularly. I had heard great things about Day of Coordinators, and felt that hiring one would help ease some of my worries about the logistics of planning, set up, and tear down. I was also concerned that we would be busy taking care of issues during our reception rather than sitting back and enjoying it. From the first phone call I had with Krista regarding their DOC services, I was put to ease. She walked me through logistics, and brought up questions or concerns I would have never thought of. A month before the wedding we walked through the space with her and her assistant, Julia, who got a sense for the venue and more logistics. The next couple weeks I knew we were in great hands when Julia made up our itinerary, and reached out to all our vendors to confirm time of pick up/drop off, and their contact info on a call sheet. The week before she was super prompt responding to questions. Day of, Julia set up our decorations and put me at ease knowing that none of our family or friends would need to rush over between ceremony and reception to check anything. She had it all covered flawlessly, and it looked just like I had imagined it! During the reception she checked in with my husband and I about the timeline, if we wanted anything changed, and we truly were able to sit back, take in our reception with all our loved ones, and dance the night away. I couldn't recommend Weddings with a Twist for any of your wedding planning needs more!

My fiance and I opted for the day of coordination package from Weddings With A Twist, and we were so happy that we did! Krista was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process. I was on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator and she was able to answer all of my questions. She was very organized, prompt in responding to any emails/phone calls, and really knew the ins and outs of planning a wedding. Throughout the planning process she made sure to ask the important questions, which a lot of times were things I hadn't even thought of. I was planning the wedding mostly on my own since none of my family live near by, and it was extremely valuable to have someone as knowledgeable as Krista to bounce ideas off of. Krista helped me iron out all of the details for the ceremony and reception, and helped connect me with reputable vendors. My wedding day was exactly what I hoped for and ran very smoothly, thanks to Krista and her team. I was not sure we could afford a wedding planner on our budget, but hiring Weddings With A Twist was some of the best money we spent. The piece of mind I had knowing everything would be taken care of by Krista and her team was absolutely priceless. I felt I was really able to "be present" and "in the moment" on my special day. We hired Krista for day-of coordination for our wedding and I don't know what we would have done without her! Her attention to detail is outstanding, and she anticipated our every need. We hired Krista to be our day of wedding coordinator, and we are so happy we did. Leading up to the wedding, we had two meetings with Krista to discuss details and make sure she knew exactly what we wanted out of our wedding. She also came with us to the last meeting at our wedding venue and helped advocate for us with the venue manager. Finally, she came to our rehearsal at the church the night before the wedding to help make the ceremony ran smoothly. Krista Dentice from Weddings With A Twist was given a particularly difficult challenge with our wedding. I was not familiar with Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I was going to be overseas the entire year leading up to our wedding. Without hesitation I recommend Krista to anyone who is considering a wedding planner. From my very first inquiry into utilizing her services to the day of the wedding she was responsive, pleasant, professional, and informative.
Whether I wanted a lot of information on a vendor or a general opinion on what would be best for the wedding, Krista quickly figured out my personality and how to best direct me to a decision which would be best for my wife and I. She is only able to do that because she cares and gives personal service in a way which makes a person feel like you are the only person she is planning a wedding for.
I reached out to Krista approximately 10 months prior to the date of the wedding, we must have exchanged at least 500 emails (as I was overseas and time zones didn't always allow telephone conversations) and I can not remember ever waiting a day for a response from her! THAT is responsiveness I would never have expected.
I was only able to return to the States for one weekend prior to the wedding, Krista arranged all of the vendor meetings in that short 3-days, attending every vendor appointment and made sure I understood my options and never pressured me to do something I wasn't ready to commit to.
On the day of the day of the wedding, when you walk into your reception venue and everything is set up and ready to go...that is when you come to realize how invaluable Krista is to your wedding day. Everyone warns you not to stress on your wedding day and just "enjoy it." Krista makes sure that will be the case with your special day!

Krista was such a big help for our wedding. We hired her for everything after we had the big items booked like venue and photographer. I'm a huge worrier and Krista was there to answer every question I had. Once I had an idea of the type of flowers I wanted, Krista got me vendors to choose from and I could decide which one understood my vision. It felt great to know that she was helping us get our special day just right. I loved that I didn't have to worry about everything but could just enjoy my day and know Krista was there to make sure everything went smoothly. We had a hick-up with our bus to pick up guests from the hotel and Krista was on top of it the day- of and got us a partial refund because of the mix-up. We hired Krista for our day-of coordinating, and she went above and beyond to make sure the day went AMAZING! Along with being super sweet and accommodating, she is also very detail-oriented and personable. From getting to the park early to make sure everything looked perfect for the ceremony and then coming to our hotel to grab anything else that was needed for both the ceremony and reception, she was on it! 5 stars is not enough of an overall rating, I give her 10! For anything we needed, she was there, even helping put the boutonnieres on the boys! :) Prior to the wedding, she did a stellar job answering my constant emails and questions promptly, and was very thorough in our last meeting together to go over final details for the wedding -- which for any bride is great reassurance that the day is going to go wonderfully! :) She also did an amazing job setting up for our reception, and I couldn't have picked someone better to carry out what I had envisionioned my wedding to look like. Krista was instrumental in the planning of my wedding. I lived in a different state at the time I had to choose a venue, and had to do it site un-seen. Krista was amazing--she took my vision for the wedding, suggested a few venues which fit my description and toured my top choices, taking videos for me to get the feel. We hired Krista to do our setup and takedown for our wedding. Krista was working hard every minute she was there and everything looked exactly how I described. She was also great leading up to the wedding when we met to go over things and answer all questions. She also came to me a few days before to pick up all our décor right from my place. That was very helpful! Everything she did was a major help and made it possible for my parents and family to enjoy the day rather then having to run around dealing with the details. Very happy we used her!

Krista did a fantastic job setting up our wedding reception at the Milwaukee County Zoo!! I don't know how I could have done it without her. She came to our house prior to the wedding to go over everything, picked up items the night before and arranged everything perfectly the day-of. She was organized and professional and I would highly recommend her to help with your wedding!!

Krista was awesome helping out at my daughter's wedding. She kept everyone calm and in order. She even helped with a broken boutonnière. She was a delight to work with. Professional and courteous! Thank you Krista! You are the best!!!

I can not express how much we appreciate all of Weddings With A Twist's work for our special day! We hired them for the day of and they were wonderful! My husband and I are just so happy with everything Kelly did and how much effort, patience and time they put in. Thank you so much very helping us and assisting in our special day. I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator to help us. Please help others at more weddings because you are the best! I think at times people forget all the little things/ duties that need to be done on the BIG day and I am so grateful they were with us. :) Weddings With a Twist, LLC treated our special day as their own. Everything we asked for was accomplished and exceed beyond our expectations. It really put our minds at ease knowing we could rely on someone to assist us even though we only had met a couple of times to go over details! Everything was excellent with Krista and Kelly!

I was planning my wedding from out of state, and did a lot of research on wedding coordinators. After my initial consultation with Weddings with a Twist/Krista, it was an easy decision to choose her as my wedding coordinator! We went with the "Complete Wedding Package," which was worth every penny.

Krista is so easy to work with, and really made the planning process so much less stressful (we planned our wedding in less than eight months). Krista attended vendor meetings with me, and helped me find some great vendors, including an amazing florist! We could not have had our dream wedding without Krista's help.

The day-of, Krista was the true magic behind how amazing everything turned out. Starting in the morning, Krista helped the reception venue set up the unique details. Then at the ceremony, everything went beautifully thanks to her coordination. After the reception, Krista was EXTREMELY helpful in taking all the decor down/to our bridal suite. She is an incredible, all-around coordinator, whom I now call a friend. All our guests keep saying how it was by far THE best wedding they have ever attended, and Krista was an intricate part of the whole process - from day one, to the Big Day. I've heard this never happens, but our wedding day went PERFECTLY. Not one thing went wrong; it was simply outstanding and really allowed my groom and I to truly enjoy every minute of our wedding day.

I would highly recommend Weddings with a Twist to any bride/couple!
