  Absolutely the best venue!

  I couldn’t recommend Weddings on the hill enough! The staff was incredible and exceeded all expectations- from the beginning they were friendly, responsive, and created a personalized ceremony for us with ease. I never felt stressed with them me and my entire wedding party and family felt taken care of. Truly the calm guiding light for our day of!

  Terri is wonderful!!!

  Terri gave us a tour of the property and I wanted to yes on the spot just because how comfortable and accommodating she was. Our guest lies three which is why we can’t do it here but if you have 125 or less you should definitely see this venue!! I felt at home!

  Wonderful venue with incredible staff

  So many good things to say about this venue I don’t know where to start! Terri is fantastic, and the staff is professional. The ability to use decorations, the fact that they take care of set up and tear down, and that they are so kind is one of the reasons we chose Weddings on the Hill. When Covid changed our plans, they were quick to help us reschedule with NO hassle! The venue is absolutely stunning! We felt comfortable, and everything was absolutely perfect! The coordination of the day flowed perfectly and there was never a moment that felt rushed or chaotic. I would 1000% go back in time and do it again!

  Best Wedding Venue!

  Terri and Cindy are the most kindest, amazing people. They went above and beyond. We were so lucky to have them host our wedding at their venue. They made sure everything ran smoothly. They set up the wedding decor, helped with the food and beverages, helped our guests, and even cleaned after the wedding. The garden was a beautiful backdrop for our pictures. As well, they made sure to follow covid guidelines and our wedding felt very safe. We feel so lucky to have chosen Weddings on the Hill and wish to use their venue for future events.

  Made my Dream come true

  Terri was a complete doll! I had no clue where to begin, what to get, how to do this, and she helped me each step of the way, never even hesitating. She understood we had a budget (as we are a young couple) she respected it and helped me stick to it! I would not have had the wedding of my dreams with out her and her team.
  Even with a global pandemic, and constant adjustments due to regulations, I never worried cause Terri was five steps ahead and had all different options set in motion no matter the circumstances. We had to downsize from the 100 to 25 at the very last month, but because of their amazing team it was a breeze and it made me feel so comfortable and relaxed about the decisions that I had made. Fast responses and truly caring that we had the wedding we dreamed of, she worked her butt off to make sure I had a relaxed and fun day. Nothing (and I really mean nothing) went wrong at all. I wouldn't have changed anything.
  If you want someone caring, sweet, understanding, patient, flexible and responsive then I would highly recommend Wedding on the Hill Team.
  I will forever cherish how magical they made this special day for not only me but my husband and family.

  Excellent more personable service

  5 star rating is not enough for these modern fairy godmothers. My courthouse wedding got canceled. My reception venue went ghost. It was a very stressful moment. Then, I was browsing and found out about Weddings on the Hill. From that day on, they turn my wedding around in such a short notice of time. Like, wedding planning in a month. Terri was so helpful and patient dealing with my stress. She was so quick to answer my text. She is very resilient with any last minute changes.
  The day of the wedding, everything was beautiful. She made all our bouquets and florals. She definitely went extra. From every corner of the venue, it was perfect. The staff Cindy, Terri, Brian and Chris ran the wedding. Terri made sure the timeline was followed and on time. Queing whose in charge. She brought dinner to our table. Chris, the best bartender. And they even hopped on the dancefloor with us 😭. I love this place so much and the people. I will be forever thankful for them. Im honestly sad the wedding is done. I would 100% recommend Weddings on the Hill.

  We cannot say enough wonderful things about Weddings on the Hill and about Terri who coordinates it -- this was hands down the best decision for our wedding that we could have made! Everything was so restful and peaceful because Terri is a wonderworker -- quite literally a Wedding Fairy Godmother. Our original wedding plan of 125 was taken down to 25 because of Covid, but we decided to go ahead with our plan at WOH, and it was an absolute dream. It was so intimate and peaceful. By the time our wedding rolled around we felt like Terri and her husband Brian were family, and we had the most magical day we could have imagined. Even when our flowers fell through at the 9th hour, Terri stepped in and did amazing floral displays for us. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was and how peaceful and special it felt.   Beyond expectations

  Can I just say this place is a dream for any wedding. The surrounding decorates itself so there’s minimal effort needed. Terri is a gem to work with and made me feel at ease from the first day I toured. I was immediately sold based on all the features you get with their packages and the beautiful garden mansion venue. Our wedding day went so smooth thanks to Terri and I could not have been more pleased. I’m even more amazed by how she helped me with my garlands, they were beautiful! I would recommend this venue over and over to any couple who’s looking for a beautiful garden theme wedding that allows everyone to mingle closely at an affordable cost. I already have three family members interested in Wedding’s on the Hill after attending our wedding due to the simple yet elegant beauty of it.

  Amazing! Made the day so much better!

  The site coordinator, Terri, was excellent at communication with us before the wedding and provided helpful advice and recommendations that made the wedding day much easier. She was extremely positive and friendly and did a lot to help make the wedding go smoothly. The rest of the staff was equally as friendly and helpful. The venue itself was beautiful and well set up.

  Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

  My wedding day was magical and it’s all thanks to Terri and the entire weddings on the Hill staff. All I have to say is that this venue is beautiful. The garden is the perfect place to have a small intimate wedding with the people you love the most. Terri was amazing from the very start. She made everything so easy and wonderful. She answered all of our questions and was there whenever we needed her. My husband and his groomsman loved the man cave and had an amazing time getting ready for our special day. My bridesmaids loved the make-up room and couldn’t get over the lighting and the view of the garden while we were getting ready. This venue is by far the best venue in Portland because Terri is a wonderful, and magical women who made everything seem like a fairy tale.

  I can not say enough about how amazing Weddings on the Hill was! If you want a elegant, relaxing, and fun wedding you need to go and look at this place and meet the staff!
  
  I recently got married at Wedding on the Hill, Aug. 2018. Before booking Wedding on the Hill as our venue, I looked at many others. By far, this venue won! I even texted Cindy while we were looking at a different venue to reserve the date we had talked about before it was gone! My fiance and I were very excited to be able to book with Weddings on the Hill. The most amazing part? They did more than I could have ever expected to make the day go so amazingly.
  
  This venue comes with so much in the package!
  1. Terri...the most amazing coordinator you can ever ask for! Not only is she amazing at her job but she is so sweet and caring at the same time. She is truly there for you for whatever you need, and she went above and beyond for us! Making sure everyone knew what to do, helping finalize decorations and set up, helping solve a cupcake "crisis", even providing us with batteries when we didn't have enough! She makes the day relaxing, the way it should be.
  2. The store (that is free)...this venue has a little store in the basement (that is free to use at no cost). In this store are a BUNCH of wedding decor type things. This store saved us hundreds of dollars because we could use anything and everything from it to decorate. Makes so much sense, and usually keeps getting fuller and fuller as other wedding parties donate stuff to it. I don't think I bought one decoration for the wedding other than flowers because the store had so many beautiful things to use.
  (Side note: the venue also just by it self has such a natural beauty that a bunch of decorations isn't needed. Also, the venue has gorgeous lights set up outside that look pretty and simple in the evening).
  3. The other perks...this venue comes with air conditioning (the guys in the summer with be happy in their room, with air conditioni

  Weddings on the Hill is an amazing venue!!! Their package comes with SO MUCH - the greatest bonus of all being the amazing Terri Strandberg as your wedding fairy godmother. She is truly so dedicated and I cannot imagine how I would have done the wedding without her. The house and gardens are of course beautiful as well. Everything went so smoothly and because I had Terri working behind the scenes, I was able to relax and everyone kept telling me how amazingly calm I was my entire wedding week. It wasn't by accident and I am not a low anxiety person! Terri took care of many details and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The day of my wedding I went up to their beautiful bridal suite and just relaxed with my girls :] It was truly a perfect day and I will never forget it. A million thank yous to Terri, her husband, and her boys for making Weddings on the Hill the most special place ever!

  They went above and beyond to make everything we needed for our family to have a memorable wedding. They took care of our two year old son and did what they could to help keep him warm (married October 14,2017) and responded instantly to any questions if not a few hours later. I would recommend wedding on the hill.

  My husband and I could not have picked a better place to get married! Cindy and Chris were so wonderful to work with and are both so sweet!   Weddings on the Hill is amazing venue. When it came to the venue, I was willing to pay more if I got more. At Weddings on the Hill, they set everything up and took everything down. They literally served me my food. They are soooo kind and helpful. I would recommend this place for any Oregon bride. On their website, they have a list of what the price includes but that list didnt even cover everything. Cindy and her staff were sooo helpful, kind and awesome.

  Weddings on the Hill is amazing venue. When it came to the venue, I was willing to pay more if I got more. At Weddings on the Hill, they set everything up and took everything down. They literally served me my food. They are soooo kind and helpful. I would recommend this place for any Oregon bride.   Weddings on the Hill was the perfect venue for our wedding! Aside from being the most beautiful site we could have imagined for our day, working with Cindy for the past year has been wonderful. From our very first meeting when we toured the venue, we got the impression that she knows exactly what she's doing, and it was very reassuring to know we had someone so knowledgeable managing everything. Cindy was available every step of the way to answer our questions. Her expertise, helpfulness and personality were invaluable in the planning process. On our wedding day, Cindy, Chris and staff worked with us and behind the scenes to pull everything together, helping with more details than we probably even realize. Our wedding day was one of the hottest days of the year, and they made sure we had water at all times, and brought out fans to keep us and the guests as comfortable as possible. We loved every moment of our day in this beautiful place- what an amazing experience. A huge thank you to Weddings on the Hill, Cindy, Chris and team!

Can't find that everywhere, and definitely at this amazing price! Everyone commented on how beautiful our wedding was. It is close to a main road, but we didn't hear any traffic. There was plenty of parking too for our close to 100 guests. If we ever do a vow renewal this is where we'll go! Perfect place for the feel of a backyard elegant wedding if you don't have the space where you live!
