I had the pleasure of working with Kalyn and Jen at The Bradford in New Hill, NC, and they were absolutely amazing! They made the entire day run smoothly from start to finish, and I genuinely enjoyed the downtime we had together in between the big moments — lots of laughs and good vibes all around.
They’re such a great team and made my job as a vendor a total joy — completely stress-free. I’d highly recommend them to any couple looking for planners who feel more like friends.

My husband and I got married in August 2024 and had the wonderful pleasure of working with Jen and Kalyn with the coordination package. Jen was our point of contact during the process and was a calm and reassuring presence throughout, always available to answer a quick question or point us in the right direction to helpful resources. Jen and Kalyn did a fantastic job on the day of the wedding, handling all aspects of the day and helping to set up the many decor elements we DIY’d. Everything looked like we pictured and it was such a joy-filled day.
Two specific moments really stood out to us to show how exemplary Jen and her team are. As an out-of-state couple, there’s an added layer of logistics and stress that comes with planning. We planned a trip into town the month before the wedding for our final venue walk through, tasting, and planning meeting with Jen. Due to weather, our flight was canceled. Once we alerted Jen to this, she stepped into action, working with our vendors to reschedule all of our meetings, while we tried to find new flights down to NC. We thankfully were able to attend all our meetings and Jen even helped us source one remaining decor item that we couldn’t find anywhere! On the day of our wedding, we also had some unfortunate weather when it started raining 10 minutes before our set time to walk down the aisle. Jen supported us in our decision to wait out the rain and coordinated with the vendor team to wipe down every single seat before the ceremony started. We were so happy to have our ceremony outside and the rest of the night was great! We’re so grateful to Jen and Kalyn for their professionalism, fun attitudes, and support. My husband and I are both quite meticulous so we needed to find someone we could trust could pull off our wedding at the same level of excellence as we would. Jen and her team did just that! The only thing we’d change is starting our package sooner so we could’ve handed things over to her very capable team earlier. Thank you again, Jen and Kalyn, for making our big day so special. -

Planning our wedding with Jen was THE BEST thing we did, second to actually walking down the aisle! 😁 She was spot on with the details, had great connections with other necessary vendors and always brought a balance of professionalism and warmth to our planning sessions and wedding day. She made sure we were always moving in alignment with our vision for our wedding and was un afraid to advocate for us with other vendors. Our wedding planning meetings were held virtually and the electronic systems she has in place are very accessible and exceptional; it makes it feel like you’re sitting in the room with her. When you book with Jen you walk away feeling super confident about the vision and plan for your wedding as well as comforting and ongoing support while you navigate the crazy nuances of the wedding world! -

We found Jen about 2 months before our wedding date as we were looking for someone to coordinate the week of. However, I wish we would have found her much sooner! She is professional, on top of everything, kept us on schedule and helped everything flow so perfectly for our 3 days of events. She was a huge advocate for absolutely everything between all of our vendors to ensure each day went according to plan. She did NOT mess around! We felt in such great hands. She definitely went to bat for us when needed. The weekend would not have come together so perfectly had it not been for her, her expertise, and her attention to detail. We are so so happy with her level of service and left our wedding weekend feeling like we have a friend in her now too. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!! -

There is no better wedding planner & Day of Coordinator in North Carolina, Jen and her team are the absolute best. Jen went above and beyond for months before the wedding and was incredible on our big day. Her team is adaptable, professional and doesn’t miss a beat. Planning our small wedding during the ongoing covid crisis was very stressful and emotionally draining. Jen was there every step of the way to go over strategies, reassess and support me. On my wedding day, our florist let us down a bit and I almost had a full meltdown. Right away, Jen brought me back to the special moment and made sure I kept the focus rightly on my husband and our family. Her sister also did a wonderful job keeping me calm and happy & the intern did a livestream that made all of our virtual guests feel engaged. It was a whole vibe. My now husband and I have already recommended her to all of our friends in the area! We look forward to working with her team again in the future for a corporate or personal event! Weddings Made to Order comes with a very detailed team and leadership that prides themselves in making that special wedding occasion memorable. Upon arrival as guests, we knew this would be a special ceremony as we saw other guests eagerly waiting to join in as witnesses. This team was on point in making sure the bride, which was my sister, as well as her groom, had a very special day. I heard feedback that WMTO’s wedding planning really eased the pressure and allowed the ceremony to have very little or no stress. I noticed the atmosphere and ambiance that put everyone in the mindset of a joyful union that was about to be created. Weddings Made to Order gracefully took charge and set the tone with the planning while working with the needed details of the bride and groom—and their budget.
I heard in the beginning of communication that they catered to the need of the bride and groom with a customized approach, while determining all the details needed to make it a success! Their service didn’t skip a beat; as I recall after the ceremony there were some wonderful meal selections then afterwards, they allowed the guests to be involved with party favors. Jen is a fantastic wedding planner and is a godsend for anyone planning their wedding! Although our scheduled wedding was canceled a month out due to COVID (scheduled for April 19, 2020), Jen was always prepared starting at the initial consultation. I am a person who hates planning events and has a constantly busy schedule. What made Jen so amazing was her seeking opportunities to take things off of my plate, providing checklists and other planning tools from start to finish, and providing reminders of action items/recommended timelines.
Weddings Made to Order’s prices are very reasonable and are flexible to your needs. Our wedding was due to be on the intimate side (around 70-80 people) with the venue providing the food, drinks, locations, and minor decorations. As such, Jen was always flexible with adjusting her services to meet our needs. Although we are having a rescheduled backyard 5-person wedding in July, I am using some of the different resources Jen pulled together to help make sure I cover all the details. While, I wasn’t able to use Jen’s wedding day-of services, her attention to detail and professionalism leaves me no concerns that she wouldn’t do anything short of a fabulous job. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for virtual wedding planning!

I loved attending the going away party for Davian! Great finger-food was available, the ambiance was nice, and there was a great use of space. People were free to walk around and have great conversations, play board games, and eat in different spaces. Jennifer and Marcy did a wonderful job setting everything up! If anyone needs a great, comfortable space for a gathering of about 20 to 30 people, or maybe even a little more, the Nest is totally it! -
