We cannot say enough great words about Raina and her team! From start to finish, Raina was wonderful, pleasant and easy to work with. She was a calming influence throughout the whole process. As the mother of the bride, I could not have done this without her! Every detail was attended to, and I was able to focus on enjoying our daughter's wedding day without one worry. We live in Texas, and the wedding was three states away in Tennessee. During the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, Raina helped me to navigate planning from long distance, connecting us to the best vendors and helping us to create the wedding our daughter and her (now) husband dreamed of. The day of the wedding, every last detail was planned to the minute, giving us all peace of mind that everything was in place so we were able to enjoy the most perfect day. My advice to anyone planning a wedding: hire a wedding coordinator! My biggest advice to anyone planning a wedding in the Nashville area...HIRE RAINA VAN SETTER, WEDDINGS AND EVENTS BY RAINA (unless we decide to kidnap her and bring her to Texas)! You will be so happy you did!

Our daughter’s wedding was in June and her wedding was PERFECTION! We have Raina to thank for that! She took care of so many things we would have never thought of on our own. She kept us on schedule which is extremely important! Raina’s vendor recommendations were so helpful and she has a great working relationship with all of them! She is incredibly timely with her responses to texts, emails, and phone calls and she is extremely organized! I’m not sure when she sleeps! Her “Day of Wedding” service is so much more than day of. Additionally, Raina’s staff was amazing. There will always be little things that happen on the wedding day, but if you hire Raina, that’s all they will be…just little things that no one even notices. Raina allowed me and my family to just sit back and enjoy the most beautiful day with our daughter, her new husband and all of our family and friends. Those are memories that last forever! Working with Raina is a Dream!
Raina and her team were a pleasure to work with, right from the very start. From the initial consult, Raina helped to capture my perfect wedding day. While I knew the general idea of what I wanted my ceremony and reception to be like, Raina helped hook me up with vendors that would create the vision that I desired. Every vendor she recommended was a dream, too!
Other than being available almost any time of day, Raina was a wealth of knowledge and the team that she brought along on the day of the wedding were amazing, too. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the morning – Raina handled all the vendors, setting out last minute décor, helping the gentleman pin their boutonnieres, helped me with my dress, and so much more. Anita even held my hand when I was nervous during the ceremony line up. Literally, all I had to worry about was looking nice and enjoying the morning with my family and friends.
Whether you hire Raina and her team on just a day of basis or for a more, in depth wedding planning, I’m positive you can’t go wrong with her and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services to future brides to be!

We hired Raina as a month of coordinator and then the pandemic happened. She stuck with us through a date and venue change, as well as providing assistance and guidance above and beyond a mere month of coordinator. It is not hyperbole to say that our wedding would not have been 1/10th as perfect without her help. She was extremely available and communicative, had great connections and communication with all our vendors, and did every single thing we asked of her and more. And she's just a generally nice person (but not afraid to take charge and get things done!) which is always a plus. You cannot go wrong with her at the head of your vendor team.

Partial Planning Wedding
Working with Raina an excellent and pleasant experience. We actually found her through our caterer haha. We got the partial planner package and it was well worth the money. You hear so many people complaining about how they didn't get to do this or that, or they had to spend so much time doing the rounds that they didn't get to enjoy themselves; working with Raina elevated all of these. She helped us find several vendors and replace someone last minute. Even though we didn't have full access to her throughout the whole process, we had email access and she was not only very responsive, but she checked up on us throughout that time. We had everything down to a perfect plan and even seamless handled well the small changes we made a few days before hand. At the actual event her and her staff had everything under control and handled everything seamlessly. If there were problems she took care of them so it didn't show at all. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Would highly recommend, especially if you have the money to spend a little extra on the planner. Was well worth it. The wedding was amazing and so much fun. We won't be the ones who regret spending the money on it when we're older.

I cannot give enough credit to how well the wedding went because of Raina and her team. I just do not believe I could have pulled it off without her. She is a superhero!
- She is there to not only plan, but listen to you. Not just about the wedding day, but the stress of it, family problems, gives advice.... I don't even know what I will plan to have for dinner tonight without asking Raina what she thinks!
- She knows EVERYONE in the area. She has them on speed dial it seems. Often I got responses much quicker asking her a question instead of the vendor directly. She also paired me with the absolute best vendors for me and my wedding, when I asked for her opinion on who to hire.
- She responds quickly, and if there is a rare case she can't get back to you right away, she will schedule something asap.
- She is in constant contact with vendors so you. don't. have. to. Period.
- She already knows what you will forget to bring the day of the wedding (no matter how many times you write it down to remember) and has it ready for you.
I could honestly go on and on. She made my wedding so special, and it was genuine. She truly cares about you and your wedding. It is about making a wedding that suits you, she never pushes things on you. She wants your wedding to be as good of a match as your soon-to-be partner. There's no way that any of this would have been possible without them...2020 nearly seemed like the end of any wedding plans whatsoever, but Raina came in and not only saved my sanity, but my relationship!! Absolutely Amazing

The Amazing Raina!
Raina and her team were super incredible. Raina was always there when I or anyone else involved in my wedding had a question. She was also always friendly and knowledgable. She would listen to me first and foremost. As a quiet person, it was very nice not to have to worry about my voice not being heard. She also kept us on schedule for payments for all the vendors too!

Hands down the best wedding planner. Has a wonderful list of vendors and helps with all things wedding. I couldn't have gotten married without her! She was my first call when I found out a family member had tested positive days before our wedding and took care of absolutely everything for me on an especially hard day when having to cancel. She is an actual life saver! So thankful I had Raina's help in general, especially taking the virus into account in todays time. The best of the best! I couldn't recommend more!

Excellent Service and Knows ALL the vendors!
I hired Raina back in Feb to help me with my wedding planning since I work full time. Not only has she been available to answer all my little questions she has been able to help me schedule meeting with my busy vendors and plan decor for my day of. She has gone WAY above and beyond to help me feel organized and like I'm prepared for my wedding! It might seem like a lot of money to hire a planner but let me tell you, this has been the best money I've ever spent! The peace of mind knowing I'm in experienced hands is worth every penny!
UPDATE: Post Wedding: There are really no words that can fully articulate how much work, energy, effort and enthusiasm Raina and her team put into helping me plan and coordinate my wedding day. If you aren’t sure if you should hire a planner/coordinator let me advise that hiring Raina was the best investment I made for the whole wedding. You spend a lot of time, attention and money hiring vendors leading up to your big day… have a professional there with you coordinating and taking care of all the details! I don’t think I had to lift a finger on my wedding day to do anything other than put on my dress and that is PRICELESS. I was able to relax and soak in every moment with my husband (now) and our families! She also helped me with the styling for my wedding and helped me with all the details like choosing place settings and how to fold napkins! She is worth her weight in gold and you will feel like you have your very own fairy godmother there making your wedding go off seamlessly!

Raina helped us plan and coordinate our huge, elaborate 400 person, 8 hour wedding reception party with 2 bands, food, drinks & dancing galore. She brought excellent professionalism and experience to the planning and executing process that helped create an awesome, seamless event. Last minute need for an officiant due to the global Pandemic, Weddings & Events by Raina stepped in without hesitation!
Dealing with Raina during this time of uncertainty (do we cancel, reschedule, postpone indefinitely?) she gave us the chance to go ahead as planned. We booked Raina as our month of coordinator for our wedding on 10/19 at Duck Pond Farm in Mount Juliet. I knew the very first thing I wanted to book after I got engaged was a wedding planner. Raina to the rescue! Raina was absolutely incredible and I am so happy I found her through reviews online. She had fantastic recommendations for other vendors too! I had no idea how nice it would be to have vendors that knew each other and had done several weddings together, but it was great! I am a self admitted perfectionist and Raina made sure I could relax both leading up to the wedding and especially the day of because she had everything covered (even things I didn't think of like an umbrella). I cannot even begin to explain how much stress was lifted off of me the day of the wedding knowing that Raina and her team were there. Raina and her superstar team set up and tore down everything for the ceremony and reception and coordinated with all vendors to ensure delivery was on time. Her team fluffed and bustled my dress whenever needed. They even folded the napkins in the most beautiful way! Every little detail was perfect!

Perfect wedding from a long distance mother of the bride
As the mother of the bride who lives 500 miles from her daughter and the venue, Ranea and her team were essential to the planning of the wedding. I called Ranea, "the second mom", since I couldn't be there to help plan with my daughter. Everything went as planned and the family was just able to enjoy the wedding, which we most certainly did. I simply cannot imagine planning all that went into my wedding day without Raina by my side. She found me the perfect vendors, saved me money and more importantly sanity and all while keeping a smile on her face. Both my husband and I live out of state, so we really needed additional assistance with the planning of our destination wedding. Raina and her amazing team truly went above and beyond not only during the actual planning process but on the day of as well. Any time we thought of anything it had already been taken care of! I loved working with Raina!!
I live in Houston, but Nashville is my hometown and I got married in Nashville. Planning a wedding from afar is difficult. I started the process with minimal guidance... by the time I met Raina, I had already selected my caterer, photographer, videographer, wedding and reception venue, and DJ. I sure wish I had known her before doing all of that. She would have made things much easier and less stressful.
Raina was a referral from my florist. I knew Raina was exactly who I wanted to work with 5 minutes into the conversation. She has a calming spirit and is very resourceful. She quickly helped me find the rest of my vendors, and was always quick to pick up the phone or text whether she was answering questions I had or just checking in with me to make sure I was still sane. Lol
Raina is thoroughly prepared. She takes thorough notes and is always traveling with her binder so she can accurately address any concerns almost immediately.
Raina is also very talented. My step-dad passed and I wanted to do a tribute to him by having his blue handkerchief embroidered. The seamstress in Houston did it initially and did a horrible job. Three days before the wedding, I gave it to Raina and she did an amazing job with it overnight!
The entire ceremony started on time, ran smoothly, and every detail we requested, Raina and her crew were able to implement flawlessly.
It was an amazing experience and Raina was an incredible planner. My husband and I highly recommend her!

Raina and her amazing staff were involved, enthusiastic, and prepared since the day we engaged Weddings & Events by Raina. Raina’s excitement and attention to detail was clear within the first few minutes of our meeting, and her experience put much of my anxiety at ease. Our Sikh Indian wedding necessitated coordination across out of town vendors, last minute changes, and numerous course corrections. Her staff, Anita, Mariah, and Jennifer, were eager to please and stepped in to facilitate communication and last minute changes. From behind the scenes, our beautiful, complex wedding incurred the challenges of constrained venue staff and some minor printing mishaps. Our guests never knew the difference, and my groom and I only found out after the fact. You’re in good hands with these seasoned, organized experts.

As the Mother of the Bride I am so thrilled with how Raina and her team took our vision and brought it to life for our very special day. I am so thankful we chose Raina to coordinate the wedding day and decorate the reception, it was absolutely beautiful. Raina was very very attentive for the rehearsal, the wedding and the reception. It was absolutely perfect and I totally trusted her to take care of all of our needs and she did not disappoint. I totally would hire her again. Raina is a must have for weddings. I booked her in April and my wedding date was the following June. She was by my side the entire time. Always made me feel like I was her only client, which I know she had dozens of brides she made feel the same way! She was the reason I kept my sanity. We heard from Raina by a recommendation from our photographer Ardee Chua and we are so glad we decided to hire her as our officiant. She took care of everything and made us feel so stress free! from writing the most beautiful wedding ceremony to bringing umbrellas for everybody since it was a rainy day (which by the way it resulted in some awesome pictures!). 100% recommended!
