So Happy!!
When we decided we wanted to elope, we weren’t quite sure where to start. But once we had our initial call with Larissa, we were confident that we were making the right choice. Larissa was very communicative leading up to the actual ceremony. The morning of our ceremony was rainy and cold, but the ceremony was truly captivating and allowed us to be completely present in the moment. I’m honestly not sure where to begin. Larissa was the most kind, caring, thoughtful and warm person we could have ever wished to meet. Larissa was recommended to us by a family member and we are so glad we chose her to officiate our wedding. Right from my first email to the day we got married Larissa was nothing short of incredible. Larissa is so very knowledgable, answering any questions I had, you can just tell she is so passionate about her couples and wants the very best for them.
On our wedding day Larissa gave us clear directions on where to meet her and met us on time. The conversation flowed and she really put us at ease right from the get go. Larissa gave us a few options on where to get married and we chose bow bridge in Central Park, during the ceremony she even had my daughter do a reading for us which was a beautiful, heartwarming touch. After the ceremony Larissa spent so much time with us walking around Central Park, showing us some great photo spots and ensuring we went home with beautiful memories we’ll cherish forever.

Our New York dream!
Larrisa was amazing! From the moment we met Larrisa she put us at ease, her calm and welcoming manner helped the day flow with ease. Before the day she communicated with us finding out about our vows, what we wanted for the exchange of rings, she printed these off on nice card for us to keep. She took time to get to know us and used this throughout the ceremony. Larrisa's support on the day was great she was personal but not to invasive. Following the ceremony, Larrisa sent us a beautiful card and sent us some photographs.

I don’t know where to begin! Larissa officiated my daughter’s wedding in Rancho Santa Fe, California, even though she is based in New York. She exceeded all our expectations. Many of our guests, who have attended many weddings, commented that it was the most touching and meaningful ceremony they had ever seen! Even many of the men teared up. She truly is the BEST!!! She spent a lot of time collaborating with my daughter and her fiancé to create their idyllic ceremony and then on top of that her delivery was the perfect mix of warmth, humor, and loving words all in her fabulous British accent. She presented herself so beautifully, even wearing a dress that matched our color scheme and then her stunning smile! Perfection! She is so professional and makes everything go smoothly. She is experienced with all the details such as knowing to be out of the picture the photographer takes of the couples first kiss! She is a consummate professional at her craft! I cant say enough great words about her and highly recommend her. She truly was a major highlight of the wedding day and all of our guests LOVED her! Thank you for saving our wedding!
My husband and I eloped at the end of October 2025 in Central Park. We had travelled from Spain, and we're only staying in the city for 3 nights.
The day before our wedding we received devastating news which sadly left us without an Officiant. Fortunately, Larissa kindly stepped in to allow us to go ahead with with ceremony. She was extremely responsive and attentive with gathering information she would need to Officiate our wedding, which really put us at ease.
In under 24 hours Larissa created a beautifully personalised ceremony which truly captured our relationship perfectly. She wrote a beautiful passage detailing mine and my husband's 10 year relationship, even mentioning ours sons and dogs by name, she found a relatable poem, and even printed our vows on nice stationary for us to keep.
Despite the awful circumstances that brought us together, I am truly grateful for Larissa and the special part she played in making our wedding perfect.

We were married at Untermeyer Gardens located in Yonkers, NY. Larissa made our day feel so special and thoughtful. She was so patient with our wishes and provided suggestions when we needed them. Even though, wedding days are usually hectic - she provided ease and calmness that reassured me that everything will be just fine. She even provided my now husband some tissues for his tears - such a sweet touch on the type of person she is. It was such an honor to have Larissa as the person that married us - she will always remain in my memory/heart forever. We want to thank Larissa for making our wedding day so so special! We really appreciate all you did to make the arches in Central Park work so well given the rainy weather, from arriving early to prepare the space, to adapting the ceremony to meet our family's vision. Larissa was responsive via email and phone throughout the build up to the wedding and went through every small detail on a call before so that we were all on the same page on the wedding day. She even came prepared with a broom to ensure the area in the arches were clean and cleared for our special day. We couldn't have asked for anything more!Weddings by Larissa's reply:

Larissa brought class and fun to our backyard nuptials last week! She was responsive in emails leading up to the date, easy to speak with and day of…. She created a 10 minute backyard ceremony beautiful with her words and style of presentation. She had myself and my now wife hanging on her every word and she delivered every word with such class and beauty. She was so personable throughout the whole process from beginning to wedding… I’d recommend her to anyone needing an officiant ! Larissa officiated our Italian-American/Scottish Gay wedding and we would recommend her for any wedding! She created a beautiful ceremony
for us which incorporated our history as a couple, favorite quotes as well as details about our family, lives, traditions and culture. From the first discovery call to the “I Do’s”, she was
very responsive and organized. Once we booked her, she took the time to discuss with us what kind of ceremony we wanted as well as the details to create the most perfect ceremony which was a true depiction of us. She also reviewed our personal vows and made sure we both had similar vows and helped us create additional details. The wedding was at a New Jersey wedding venue with over 140 people in attendance and she was able to control the room and the ceremony. In addition, she made sure every detail was handled (from her outfit that matched our color scheme to all the legalities of the license and formalities). I also appreciated
how efficient she is, which was helpful when considering how many vendors we had to deal with and she is a vendor that when couples book her, you can leave your mind at ease as your ceremony will be taken care of. I would recommend Larissa
for any couple! -

My fiance and I were unsure on who to work with to conduct our ceremony. Very pleased we chose Larissa.
Larissa is a professional and strong communicator that helped to make our ceremony all the more special.
We ended up selecting the custom ceremony option, whereby we separately answered a questionnaire from Larissa, she then took both our responses and created a beautiful ceremony that had our guests laughing, crying and eagerly wanting more.

Larissa was fantastic from start to finish. Initially she called me in advance to understand our requirements and advise us on what we needed to do to obtain our licence.
Before the day, Larissa offered to get to our preferred spot in Central Park a half hour earlier than us, to make sure no one else was there. She also made the most gorgeous, bohemian flower arrangement on the jetty by the lake that we had chosen. This really added to the romanticism of the occasion.
As an officiant, Larissa asked us both questions in advance to better know my wife and I; and even sent example vows so that we could pick our favourites. Larissa even learnt a Turkish phrase, as my wife is Turkish; a nice touch.
On the occasion, Larissa was happy and engaging with us and our guests; and her energy could be really felt on what was the most euphoric day for us.

I cannot write enough about how wonderful Larissa is and how special she made our wedding ceremony! From our first phone conversation with her, I knew she would be the perfect officiant for our wedding. I felt a sense of comfort when talking to her and knew we were in great hands from the warmth she gives, her humor, her kindness, and her experience which is all very much appreciated. She made what can sometimes be a stressful process very seamless- and one less thing to worry about during wedding planning.
She curated the perfect ceremony speech for my husband & I, and personalized it so beautifully - better than I could have ever imagined. My family & friends could not tell us enough how wonderful, intimate, and special our ceremony was & how much they loved Larissa ( and we had some tough critics in the room- I know people can relate)! Larissa was everything we asked for and more!
From day 1, my now wife and I knew Larissa was the perfect fit. Larissa called us both to get to know both of us and we truly could tell she cared to make this experience the best it could possibly be. She was thorough, warm and most of all, someone we’d highly recommend anyone else use if an officiant of the highest quality is needed.

Our intimate wedding ceremony was perfect, thanks to Larissa. My husband and I never cared much for a big wedding and decided (very last minute) to tie the knot whilst vacationing in NY with our 4 year-old. In my online search for a marriage officiant, I was most drawn to Larissa, largely because of the reviews of past couples. She seemed to be the kind of officiant I wished to share my special day with. I contacted Larissa (it was literally 4 days prior to the proposed wedding date) and I was immediately assured by her warm spirit and positive attitude.
Let me tell you... Larissa was extremely accommodating and went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure that our wedding ceremony, though small and last-minute, was exactly what we wanted. She suggested a photographer, Florencia, who was absolutely amazing and made my husband and I feel comfortable as we captured special moments on our wedding day; Larissa suggested a Violinist, Carol Ma, who played beautifully as my son walked me down the stone pathway to Wagner's Cove to meet his father; and lastly, Larissa offered to do the floral decor for us, which included my bouquet and my husband's and son's boutonnieres. They were all beautiful and complemented the rustic aesthetic at Wagner's Cove.
Larissa was patient and kind. She took the lead so that we had nothing to worry about - all we had to do was literally show up on the morning of our wedding and everything was perfectly laid out for us. Our experience with Larissa was as seamless as it was perfect.
Larissa has one of those personalities that immediately puts you at ease irrespective of your background or personal/social preferences and inclinations. She is a consummate professional and great at what she does. She took the time to ensure that the people and things most important to us featured in our ceremony, which added a nice personal touch.
We cannot sing Larissa's praises enough.

A perfect choice for our elopement
We found Larissa online when we were seeking a queer-friendly officiant for our elopement in NYC and it couldn’t have worked out better for us! Larissa was super responsive and answered all our questions. Planning with her was stress-free and easy. We loved the questionnaire that she gave us to get to know us as a couple. It was a wonderful experience to read each other’s answers in and of itself! She wrote us a highly personalized ceremony that exceeded our expectations! Our favourite thing about her is that she matched our energy during our entire time together. It felt like she was genuinely emotionally involved in our wedding experience and we are so appreciative. Larissa was my favorite vendor to work with - even though we booked her early on (7 months prior to our wedding), she was so responsive throughout, very professional, and so kind. She went above and beyond to offer help outside of my expectations, and she really got to know us as a couple as she customized our ceremony and helped make sure our vows were in line. Since we booked her so early on, some of the details like the start time weren't finalized then, and I only noticed a week or so prior that our actual start time was half an hour off. She was so accommodating and flexible about it which I was so appreciative of. When I got to meet her in-person in the venue suite before the ceremony, she was everything I imagined from our calls and interactions - bubbly, kind, and so easy to talk to! She even matched our wedding color theme which was so thoughtful. We got so many compliments afterwards from our guests on how lovely our ceremony was. We travelled from the U.K. to get married at the Dene Summerhouse, Central Park, NYC - to arrange your wedding in a different country can be pretty stressful, however Larissa came highly recommended by our Wedding Planner and we knew she was perfect from the very first email! What a wonderful woman!
Larissa was the perfect officiant for our elopement ceremony in Central Park this week.
She was everything we had hoped for and more and we felt like we had known her for years, not just a few minutes.
She was the perfect blend of professionalism mixed with a calming nature and a bubbly personality, she made us feel at ease.
We were so delighted to have been married by a fellow Brit and it was a privilege to have her perform our ceremony, I just wish we had the chance to hang out for longer with her.

Larissa wrote a beautiful ceremony for our wedding. On the wedding day over half of our guests got stuck in traffic and a 15 minute ride turned into an hour and 15 minutes. Larissa was so flexible and supported my decision to go on with the ceremony as planned. She cut it down to 15 minutes and it was perfect! Though I found Larissa on WeddingWire, I am sad to say that is the only and most important role wedding wire played on my decision on hiring this wonderful human being, my spirit was drawn to her immensely. I met her in person for the first time and it was as if we knew each other for a lifetime. She helped in lacing my corset wedding dress and aided me with finalizing my getting ready for the ceremony. Her help with the whole ordeal was superb up to the point of organizing my music selection with the Dj. As if it was finished we needed a copy of our license for our honeymoon and she was right available to text us a copy to show our resort in Jamaica. The moment I met with Larissa Martell I immediately sensed a kind and gentle presence from her. Not only was she pleasant to work with but she was also very patient with all the chaos that was going on during our big day due to the the storm that loomed over us. Larissa was very professional and very personable and was extremely helpful in so many ways.
Due to the pandemic city hall is currently closed so the process of obtaining a marriage license is very different from the traditional way. You have to do everything online and once you complete the online portion, you have to print out the marriage license form and bring it on your wedding day.
Unfortunately, I lost it during all the chaos that happened that day and Larissa was able to get a print out in the managers office at the restaurant and proceed with the wedding without a hitch. She walked me through this step by step even after we got married. Larissa was kind enough to email me a PDF file so I would be able to upload it in the New York website and I was informed that I should receive our wedding certificate 4-6 weeks. Because of the pandemic again, everything was back logged and our license was delayed amongst hundreds of people that got married during the pandemic. For me it wouldn’t be such a pressing matter if my wife wasn’t pregnant and I have already added her to my companies insurance which they require proof of marriage within 60 days after I have added my wife. If I had passed my deadline then my wife will not only be removed from my insurance but I would have to back pay my companies insurance and it would have cost me more money than I want to pay. Larissa was very empathetic of my situation and contacted someone from city hall and I was able to obtain our marriage license in a matter of 3 days and upload a digital copy of my marriage certificate to my employers website. Thanks to Larissa, I was able to complete my task before the deadline which is the 1st of September. Highly highly recommend and life saver.Weddings by Larissa's reply:

Larissa worked with us through 2 covid-postponed weddings and countless iterations to accommodate my picky notes and feedback in order to craft the ceremony perfect for us.
In addition to incorporating stories from both me and my (now) husband, Larissa added her own recommendations and ideas to make the ceremony so personal and meaningful for us. I especially loved her recommendation to have our mothers hold on to our wedding bands and offer them to us during the ceremony. Such a lovely way to include them in our special moment. The suggested language for our ring exchanges was also perfect.

We finally decided to tie the knot but were in a bit of a pickle! We couldn't find anyone we felt would tie together our last-minute idea the way we liked. On a recommendation from a friend who happens to be a wedding photographer we contacted Larissa in hopes should could give us a wedding to remember. SHE DID!
But before all of that Larissa was attentive and included us in ring vow & wedding vow selections. Larissa understood that we wanted to keep our wedding low-key & without a crowd. We couldn't have asked for a more patient, kind & wonderful person to help create this memory.

Larissa is amazing!!! Amazing to work with and so warm and kind. We had to postpone our wedding like many couples this year and decided to get married outside of city hall. But of course the biggest snow storm in years happened to fall the night before our date! And even though we didn’t know if we could make it happen, Larissa suggested we change location closer to our apartment, drudged through the snow just for us because she knew how special the date was for us and she made it happen! The best ceremony ever
Larissa is an amazing and easy going wedding officiant and she will make your ceremony unique and unforgettable. I should say that our wedding appointment was a last minute call due to various reasons, including COVID19, and we were lucky enough to run into Larissa. She was extremely accommodating and helpful through the whole process, and we just followed the lead. Larissa recommended a beautiful location in Central Park, helped us with the vows and provided contacts of the photographer in case we did not find anyone. She made a fantastic work. The best ceremony I could have imagined. Me, my husband and our guests were super excited and super happy we had Larissa as our officiant, and we felt very comfortable throughout the ceremony.

Perfect for our last minute park elopement
Larissa was amazing to work with. She provided so much guidance, and we really appreciate how flexible she was with... well, everything.
I anticipated the options for vows and ring exchanges to be cookie-cutter -- and I was okay with that -- but I was pleasantly surprised by her options. Her standard ceremony was so moving. Thank you, Larissa, for a beautiful Sunday morning ceremony. We could not have imagined it better.

Like many couples this year, we postponed our wedding to next year but didn't want to wait to get married, so we decided to hire Larissa to officiate our civil Central Park wedding. From the beginning, I knew we had made the best decision. She was so kind and helpful when I couldn't get an appointment with the city clerk to obtain our marriage license, and right away, before even hiring her, she provided information on other places where we could get one.
The process of working with her on writing our vows and the ceremony was easy and fun. The result, was the most magical ceremony we could have ever asked for. It was so perfect, that we have decided to not do another for our wedding next year, and just go straight to the party. There's no point to try to replicate that moment, because it was just too special and magical.
