We were so blown away by the work of the Weddings By Kristy team! They were constantly in communication with us when we needed to hear from them, and a great support to always ask questions of. Our wedding went so smoothly and I am sure that it is due to the incredible work of this team. Even our other vendors commented on how organized and communicative our planning team was! They helped us source vendors for alterations, drapery, our fantastic DJ, and hair and makeup services, and had a great system for keeping track of all of our contracts and planning details. We would recommend WBK for both planning and day-of coordination- they made the day so easy for us that we didn't have to think about or remember anything, and it was an amazing day that went so well! -

Weddings By Kristy is a great group to work with. They offer a varying scale of services so you can really customize to what you want or need. I married a planner, so we just wanted a day-of coordinator, but I can safely say we got more than even that with them. They go above and beyond to help the couple feel supported. My favorite feature was their vendor communications: 3 months before the wedding they take over so you can focus on the day. They did a great job communicating between us and our venue, and made the whole day feel absolutely seamless. As a queer and trans couple, too, I never once felt othered. 11/10 recommend. -

I want to share my wonderful experience working with Kristy planning my son's June 2025 backyard wedding. My son and fiancé had a vision for their wedding day and Kristy met every idea with enthusiasm and the resources to make it happen. Her organizational skills kept everyone up to date and on time making decisions and deadlines. Her advice and experience was invaluable. So many little details and she had suggestions for everything and anything. She is friendly and easy to work with!
The bottom line is that our summer backyard wedding went off without a single hitch. Every vendor she hired nailed it. The set up and clean up exceeded my expectations. We had a glorious wedding day and were able to enjoy the day without a care in the world, because Kristy was all over it. I will always be grateful we made the decision to hire Kristy to plan our son's wedding.

From the start, WBK was organized, experienced, and easy to communicate with. Kristy, Destiny, and the team were incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding and especially on the day-of. They answered every question, guided us through the process, and handled the timeline and vendors seamlessly. They worked so well with our families and friends (including all the fun personalities we had on board), and truly made the day easier and more enjoyable. We’ve said it many times during the wedding planning process and we’ll continue to shout it to the hills: hiring Kristy and her team was the best decision we’ve ever made and the best money we’ve ever spent. From the consultation and throughout the entire process Kristy was lovely to work with and incredibly friendly and personal but also always on top of everything. She flagged so many little details that we never would have thought of but led to a much smoother wedding day. Her detailed resources, templates, and documents were invaluable, but she was also flexible when I needed to make my own spreadsheets to keep everything straight in a way that worked with my brain.
The timeline she created for us was a work of art and a thing of beauty and something I could have never done on my own. She included every single facet of the event from load in and load out for every vendor down to when we needed to bring our checkbook. Handing communications with vendors to her team in the last few months was amazing and definitely reduced our stress levels. While the timeline was delayed (due to another vendor), Kristy pivoted quickly and ensured that things got back on track and as close to the plan as possible. When we changed our mind on things mid-wedding (like if we wanted a more formal send off) she ensured that it was actually what we wanted but then changed to accommodate it. She also organized tear down of all the decor so that all we had to do was show up the morning after to pick up our belongings.
As a queer couple, one of whom is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, Kristy and her team made us feel welcomed and affirmed for the entire process while vetting vendors to make sure they were LGBT friendly and listing our (and our wedding party’s) pronouns on resource sheets so that the whole vendor team was aware and misgendering was as limited as possible (and never by Kristy or her team). She (or a team member?) also recommended many amazing vendors to us including our amazing DJ who had the exact vibe we wanted (gay pop dance party) and ensured the dance floor was full and everyone loved the music choices.
Kristy led our rehearsal like a (very nice) drill sergeant, which made it so much more efficient and effective than others I’ve been a part of. The ceremony went off without any major hitches and everyone (including 13 wedding party members, both of our parents, our officiant, and us) knew where they needed to be and when to do what. I was incredibly impressed and super grateful. It also ensured that I didn’t need to think or worry about the little details like making sure seats were reserved and that people started walking at the right time.
My only regret is that we didn’t have the budget to have her team plan our rehearsal dinner as well. That experience versus the day of the wedding was a huge contrast. On the day of, I could answer every question with “ask Kristy” and she would always have the answer. As a very anxious and “type A” person I fully trusted Kristy and her team throughout the process which was wonderful for my sanity. I was able to offload all the thinking and logistics onto her and her team and be much more present at my wedding with my now wife and friends and family.

Weddings by Kristy was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. If you are considering using her team, let my review be the nudge to go with them! For the following reasons:
(1) Kristy and team immediately had a sense of the kind of occasion we were trying to have. She really matched our vision and working style from the start.
(2) The team is incredibly organized and focused on getting things done. There is so much "noise" in the wedding planning process and Kristy and team cut through it immediately.
(3) The planning sessions leading up to the day of gave us the piece of mind and confidence that things were going to go smoothly. Kristy and team took over communication with our vendors and we truly didn't have to worry about a thing.
(4) Neither of us were stressed or concerned about anything logistical on the day of. Truly, everything went off without a single issue and that is because of Kristy's team.

I'm so happy that we had Kristy and team as part of our wedding day! From our very first meeting, Kristy radiated warmth and preparedness. She listened as we shared our vision and over the next few months, ensured all the details were sorted to make it a reality.
In the lead up to the wedding, Kristy had our back and tracked our deadlines and upcoming decisions so nothing fell through the cracks. On wedding day itself, it was so helpful to have Kristy managing our 10+ vendors and decor setup and breakdown so we (and our families) could just enjoy the day.
