Hiring Cortney Helaine was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. From day one, she was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but she made the entire process feel calm, manageable, and enjoyable.

Her attention to detail is unmatched. Every timeline, vendor coordination, and last-minute adjustment was handled seamlessly. On the wedding day itself, everything ran flawlessly. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without stress, knowing she had everything under control behind the scenes.

Cortney was the BEST part of our wedding

We met Cortney after talking to a few different coordinators. Cortney has a strong sense of meeting you where you are, and exactly understanding the vision you have - even as it evolves throughout the wedding process! She was very attuned to our specific cultural requests (Filipino, Vietnamese) as we planned for design and performances for the day. The visual design she curated for our wedding was incredible. I almost started to cry as I saw our reception space. Cortney knew our vision better than we even knew our own.

One of the biggest best things about Cortney was her adaptability. We are two full-time trainees in medicine, and we frequently work 70-80 hours a week. Cortney was very direct in her communication, making tasks easy and meetings very informative without fluff.

Even on the day of the wedding, besides the amazing design, I was so relieved to have Cortney. She brought us food and drinks while we were taking a break from the crowds. My dress popped a zipper and she had a sewing set at the ready. Our 3-tier cake got partially smushed and she FIXED OUR CAKE with flowers from the table. She even was noting when I was starting to look a little red from the sun and offered cover-up!! She has an eye for details, and a solution for every permutation of the day!

All to say, my husband and I really believe we couldn't have gotten married without Cortney!

Amazing, Organized Coordinator! Loved Her!!

Cortney absolutely killed it as our wedding coordinator. She helped to always keep us on track, set our minds at ease when we felt we were falling behind, and answered any questions that we may have had throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, she was on top of everything, working and communicating with the bride and groom, maids on honor and best man with everything that needed to be done and when. She was extremely professional, communicative, and took a lot of weight off our shoulders both leading up and the day of. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for a wedding coordinator.

Masterful, detail oriented and great to work with!

Cortney was such an asset for our daughters wedding. I originally didn't feel we would need a coordinator but the venue our daughter chose required one. Cortney was on the venues preferred list and one they strongly recommended. I knew from our first phone call, she was organized, thoughtful and detail oriented. Having Cortney's help was this and so much more! Cortney never missed a beat and was proactive every step of the way. Her bubbly yet no nonsense personality was a pure joy to work with every step of the way. Additionally, I truly don't know how we could have gotten through such a momentous event without her as our wedding coordintator extraordinaire. She is definitely a true gem!

Best wedding planner

Cortney is quite literally the best wedding planner. Her responsiveness and attention to detail are invaluable. She made our day the most special
and truly went above and beyond for us. For example, our dog ended up in the emergency vet on the night of our wedding. She was on call with the vet and was ready to make arrangements if needed.

Cortney at Casa Romantica!

We hired Cortney as a day of wedding coordinator, but oh was it so much more. Cortney helped us with items 6 months out and was always there to help if we had questions or needed recommendations. The entire wedding party loved her, especially the guys, and that does not always happen with coordinators, trust me! The parents all adored her, and things just couldn’t have gone any smoother. She is the perfect mix of calm, organized, stern and fun and we would recommend her 100/10. We had no issues, the smallest details were seamlessly take care of, and we still get compliments to this day on our wedding. It was above and beyond the best day ever!

Frost Falcone magical wedding

Hailey and Steves wedding was the most magical evening, everyone is still talking about how beautiful everything was, the flowers, the food and all the magical details. The event was beyond our expectations. We can’t stop looking at the pictures, it literally looks like a magazine spread.

Cortney is the best!

I had the pleasure of working with Cortney and her team to plan my august 2023 wedding. She made the process so seamless and easy I hardly felt like I had to stress or plan anything. Of course a once in a lifetime hurricane Hilary landed on my wedding day and within a week before she had rearranged my completely outdoor wedding to an indoor magical garden of my dreams. Even throughout all the uncertainty with the weather she made me feel very confident that my vision was still going to come to life. I cannot recommend her and her team enough. Forever thankful we chose to have her as our planner.

Our most valuable asset for our wedding

We were one of the lucky couples who got to work directly with Cortney and I will be forever grateful for her and all of her hustle. We got married on 3/26/21 and from the day we hired her 1 year prior she was nothing but awesome. For starters, she is truly a kind person who knows literally all things wedding. My now husband and I are both resident physicians and looking back it’s so hilarious to think how lost we would have been if it weren’t for her knowledge. She made my life 1000x easier and addresses and fixes problems that you didn’t even know or think you would have in a wedding. She always responded to us quickly and I know she saved us hours and hours of time by how helpful she was coordinating things for us. I must have changed my mind a hundred times regarding the decor or design of our wedding, and she immediately rolled with the punches and did everything possible to make all of that happen. We had multiple vendor meetings together in person despite being in a pandemic and she always brought her a-game to those. We never knew what questions to ask the vendors, but honestly, we didn’t have to! Cortney literally runs the show and gets all the hard talking done so you don’t have to.

My parents, my bridesmaids, and even guests of the wedding kept commenting on how efficient she was at addressing and fixing all the little things that naturally happen during the day of the wedding. For example, the evening before our wedding rehearsal she asked me if I had a coat for the next day since it was going to be chilly. I told her I hadn’t and literally right after the rehearsal, I received text messages from her at the mall with pictures of coats that she thought would look good with my dress. She really went above and beyond for us because at her core you can tell she really cares. She and her team will always hold a special place in our heart and we can’t thank her enough for helping make our wedding as beautiful as it was seamless. Seriously a perfect day.

My wedding day was perfect because of Cortney!

I cannot say enough incredible things about Cortney. I didn’t realize how much help I would need planning my wedding until I hired Cortney. I had a thousand questions and she always answered my texts and calls immediately. She has the most calming presence and is so comfortable to be around. She gave me so many great suggestions and recommendations for every aspect of my wedding and being a bride in general. My wedding day ran so smoothly because Cortney was on top of everything; she was even there to bustle my dress while I was talking to guests during cocktail hour, and to grab me my dancing shoes when I was ready to get out of my heels. An awesome wedding coordinator!

Cortney was essential in our wedding planning process. From the moment we met her, she was professional and organized. Our wedding was at Giracci Vineyards and Farms. Cortney has worked with this venue for many years and is very familiar with them (she even gave us the tour of the venue!)

One thing I always look for when selecting a vendor is how they communicate. Cortney always responded promptly to my emails/texts and she was always available to chat if we had questions. She always tried to give her best advice.

During our actual wedding, her team helped us immensely making sure everything went smoothly during our wedding especially during covid times! She also did everything she could to help us reschedule our wedding because of covid. I would highly recommend Cortney & her team for all your wedding coordinating needs!

Great experience!

CORTNEY IS THE BEST! I have worked in events (non-wedding) the last 8 years so honestly was not thinking I needed anything in addition to the month of support but after talking to Cortney on the phone I knew I had to work with her. I even purchased the a la carte package for the design help from her which was completely worth the money. She knows her stuff and always made me feel like I was her only client. The design package was really worth it to get the extra attention earlier on in the planning process. She knew exactly who I needed to talk to and when to keep me on track and not waste anytime. My wedding was unfortunately cancelled due to covid but Cortney was someone who always stayed on top of any city restrictions, guidelines and was a great person to talk through what to do when having to cancel everything. I am so glad I had someone to talk to with her knowledge throughout the whole process. I hope to work with her down the road!!

Magical Wedding made possible by Wedding Planner

I have now been married almost 3 weeks and it seems like a dream. My wedding got in 'just under the wire'. If we had set our date a week or so later, it probably would have been postponed with all that is going on around us. Cortney is AMAZING!!!!

I don't even know where to start with this review. Cortney has been so amazing during this whole process! I reached out to her 19 days...yes, 19 DAYS before my original wedding date after finding out my original coordinator had done absolutely nothing she said she would be doing. I was in panic mode when I reached out to Cortney and told her my situation. She immediately responded and I knew within 5 minutes of talking to her that she was a good fit for me. Within an hour of talking with her I had signed the contracts and we got to work on my wedding. She stayed on the phone with me that night for about 2 hours going over every single detail of my wedding and planning the day of timeline. This is my first wedding but I don't think many coordinators would have taken me on so last minute and given it the amount of time and care she did. Within the first day of me hiring her we had my timeline done and she had reached out to all of my vendors. Let me say that one more time....WITHIN 24 HOURS SHE HAD DONE WHAT MY OTHER COORDINATOR COULD NOT DO IN ONE YEAR. We were 100% on schedule for my wedding in 18 days.... cut to a few days later....
All hell is breaking loose in the country, our families, who all live out of state are cancelling their plans to come, and we are unsure if they will even allow us to have our wedding (which we later found out, they would not).
My Fiance and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. In comes Cortney to save the day again. She coordinated with my venue and all of my vendors to find a new date that works for everyone. Again, within about 4 hours, she had our entire wedding rescheduled. I was a mess during this time so having Cortney to take care of everything made it much less painless.
I cannot say enough good things about Cortney and her business. She is amazing at what she does and she is also kind, understanding and a blast to work with. I have told her on multiple occasions that we are best friends now and I will definitely be calling on her to plan my next wedding ( just kidding - I think I'll stick with just one). But seriously, don't make the mistake I did and just hire Cortney right away!

I wouldn't have been able to have such an amazing wedding without them

When I got engaged and I found out about all vendors I had to contact and find out pricing, I never thought I would need a wedding coordinator. I honestly didn't know much about it but a little voice told me I would need all the help I could get and I couldn't have been more right. I was on a budget and some places told me $7,000 was the lowest amount. I was freaking out, then I contacted Cortney Helaine weddings. After speaking with Cortney on the phone I found out she fit into my budget, got a better understanding on everything and I hung up feeling so much better. I got to speak with her on the phone multiple times and any questions I had, even if they were dumb or irrelevant, she answered. Cortney told me Baylee was my assigned coordinator for my big day but Cortney was there as well and an intern named Sophia. I had an amazing wedding day because of these three women. Anything that came up, they handled. While getting ready I was so ready to go and had butterflies, I hadn't even realized my videographer was late. When I did and asked, they had already solved the problem. They got ahold of every videographer in the area to make sure someone was there when I walked down the aisle. Someone cut into our pie (we had pie instead of cake) before we did and they were ready to get us another pie. I found the whole thing funny and we still ate our pie but that just shows how dedicated they are. I was happy the whole day and I know it's because they were there helping take care of the little things. They personally helped my matron of honor with her son while she went to grab things from the bridal suite and when I heard that, I knew I picked the right people to help me with my big day.

Magical wedding!

I love, love, LOVED having Cortney as our wedding planner. I was living outside of southern California during wedding planning. But every time I flew into town, Cortney was super organized in planning our days. She scheduled all of my appointments so that we could our meet deadlines before I left. When I asked for advice, she always gave me her honest opinion, and never let me spend too much for something. I really appreciated that! After getting to know her for ~1 year, she genuinely had our best interests at heart and went out of her way to ensuring we were happy with our decisions. She really took care of us! She coordinated with all the vendors so I never had to do much of anything, except saying "yes" or "no" to questions! And, all of the vendors we met always complimented on how great and professional Cortney is, and that she really knows her stuff! She had planned weddings at Casa Romantica a million times so I trusted her 100%. Lastly, on the day of the wedding, she and her crew made sure we were punctual with our schedule, which allowed Mike and I to really enjoy our wedding! We have absolutely NOTHING to worry about, because Cortney and her team took care of everything. We apparently had last-minute family wedding crashers that I didn't even know about until AFTER the wedding. This was because Cortney took care of it! And created a separate table for them last minute! And she also made sure Mike and I ATE at the wedding. At the end of the night, she took care of bringing all of our decorations and belongings back to our place. She also helped in distributing all of our tips. Our wedding truly felt magical, and many of our guests still say how much fun they had. So thank you Cortney for making sure our day was special, without ANY of the worries. We LOVE her!

We could not be more grateful for Weddings by Cortney Helaine

We had the pleasure of working with Weddings by Cortney Helaine to help coordinate our wedding. Nicole was our coordinator! She went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and treated us more like friends than clients, which was really nice! I would text or email her with questions or comments, and she would usually get back to me within 24 hours :) Cortney Helaine had beautiful table numbers that we were able to rent directly from them. Nicole went with us to venue walk throughs and to the rental place to help pick out our tables and decor! The wedding itself went off without a hitch. There are so many small things that you stress about as a bride...little details that you pictured in your head but may not have been able to convey...I was able to sit back and relax on wedding day thanks to Nicole and her assistant! They did such a beautiful job. The timing and flow of everything was perfect. They made sure we were happy down to the very last minute. They even went into the bridal suite and organzied our belongings and gifts and loaded up our car for us at the end of the night! Hands down a Bride and Grooms Godsend!

Working with all of the coordinators at Wedding's by Cortney Helaine was one of the best experiences of the wedding process and one of the only things the hubby and I simultaneously agreed upon! We knew that with such a big production that we needed someone that could handle cultures merging, two different languages, hundreds of traditions, out of town guests, and a huge guest list and wedding party. Nicole C, is who worked with us directly and she was so attentive and ready to help in anyway possible. She knew when she needed to get us involved on the big day and what issues to handle without us ever finding out about them. Minor example, my dad (father of the bride) lost his only copy of his hand written speech somewhere a few mins before the ceremony started, Nicole and her team found the speech and gave it to him without a hitch before he even realized it was missing! The planners had their hands full with over 24 bridesmaids and groomsmen, not to mention 5 little kids and one furry best man but they were able to pull it off without a hitch! I'd do it all again, and hands down Weddings By Cortney Helaine would be the first vendor decision I would make without hesitation. Cant say enough good stuff about them!!!

Wedding day coordinator

We would definitely recommend Cortney Helaine as a wedding day coordinator. Nicole was our wedding day coordinator and she was amazing!! We met her in person a couple of times before the wedding, including once at the venue. Nicole also responded to countless calls and emails from me in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I relied on her heavily for suggestions regarding the wedding planning. Nicole went above and beyond. The day of the event she was there with her assistant all day making sure that things ran smoothly. I was not stressed at all thanks to Nicole. Hire Nicole NOW!

Nicole was truly AMAZING! Words cannot express our gratitude for her and her company. Our wedding was a dream come true that I could not have even imagined myself! It was the PERFECT wedding and really it was because of our amazing coordinator (& my wonderful husband).
We initially met Nicole when we were doing venue shopping, she showed us a few places and we just clicked. When we started to interview other wedding coordinators, no one compared to Nicole, it was meant to be!
I wasn’t the type of girl that always knew what my wedding wanted to look like and was ready with a vision. Nicole was so patient and so supportive. When I had to meet with the florist, which we met with like 4 in one day, she was there for all the meetings. Wedding people speak another language and it can be very intimating during the meetings but she was there – always there! Both my husband and I relied on her for different things. I would text her my ideas and she was always responsive and was honest if I should move forward or it wasn’t worth it, which I absolutely loved about her. My husband would get her thoughts on all the other vendors we hired and she looked through the contracts with us.
The day of the wedding everything was 100% under control and ran so smoothly. We had one little hiccup that we were able to take care of before any of our guest noticed. She & our caterer had all hands on deck and took care of it within minutes. We didn’t have to worry with Nicole and that’s what you want on your wedding day. The day goes by so fast and you need someone that you can trust so you can focus on taking the special moment in and enjoying it.
She with our other amazing vendors did their magic and brought it to life.
We whole hardheartedly recommend Nicole. Thank you for being a ROCK star! You have a special place in our hearts and will always be part of our special day.

Nicole Cipolla aka miracle worker

I worked with Nicole who was honestly incredible. I attribute my absolutely perfect day in the large part to her amazing skill and professionalism.
I used Nicole for “partial planning” and she spent all the time I needed prior to the big day ironing out details, both through in person meetings, and responding to any emails and texts I sent her way.
The day of the wedding, Nicole was in her element, and on her game! She was always running around and coordinating with my vendors, making sure everything went smoothly.
And yet for how busy she was, she helped keep me stress free and happy, and served as a huge comfort. (I was reminded of the old adage about ducks - calm on the surface but padding like hell underneath!).
I only found out weeks after the event what minor hiccups came up throughout the day, and that’s a huge testament to Nicole doing her job well.
I could not recommend working with this team more, my experience with Nicole was amazing, and it will be very worth the investment!

Saved me a lot of headache

Everyone around me was so surprised I was so calm and collected during my whole wedding planning process. But the truth is, i had an amazing wedding coordinator who did most of the heavy lifting. Service: Partial Planning

We will get to the point: the day of the wedding, Cortney, her assistants, and her associate planner will be there, making sure everything happens the way you have been planning it. Cortney and her team will not be bothering you with last minute questions. They will know who all the vendors are, they will have eight copies of the day-of timeline that they made months ago with you, they will be courteous and friendly and polite with those guests of yours that forgot to RSVP to the wedding but came anyway - they are on it. They are not making your friends and family and bridal party slave away on the day of the wedding by asking them to do last minute things. They will take care of it.

We talked about it extensively after the wedding and we truly feel that Cortney and her team, especially our planner, Nicole Cipolla, really had their stuff together the day of the wedding. Everything went incredibly smoothly. The day-of timeline was accurate almost to the second, and when it wasn’t, it wasn’t their fault but the fault of some other vendors. They really stepped up day of, and that was the most important thing.

If you do use Cortney, make make sure that you like not just her, but her associate planner. In practice and for a day-to-day basis, we weren’t dealing with Cortney but an associate planner that Cortney assigns to your wedding. We had a great experience with Nicole Cipolla because she is a very thorough and patient person, even when we really hit the roof during planning over certain problems that stemmed from our venue. Nicole never lost her temper on us even though in hindsight she was entitled to tell me to jump off a bridge.

We worked with Nicole Cipolla for our wedding and she was completely amazing. I was nervous because we had a four month timeline to plan and execute the wedding, but it all went off without a hitch. Where do I even begin to describe how AMAZING Cortney and her team are!! I planned my wedding in SoCal, while living in Dallas, and I probably could not have done it without her help. When there are dozens of caterers, photographers, etc. out there from which to pick, it can be really daunting to wade through the sheer number of options. Since Cortney is the SoCal wedding planning guru, she's worked with just about everyone and can just point you in a direction and say, you can't go wrong with any of these. It's a huge weight off your shoulders because you don't have to worry if they're not very good, and you definitely don't have to worry if they're reliable or not.

People always say "watch out for that one major thing that will go wrong on your wedding day" but, with Cortney at the helm, I actually had nothing go wrong! Even if you don't want to buy her services for full or partial planning, it is a MUST to book her for day of. She runs a smooth ship and she makes sure everyone has a drink in their hand, knows where they need to be, and most importantly, is having fun! I had SO much fun at my wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing, because I knew that Cortney is the ultimate professional and that she had my back.

Okay, I'll stop rambling, but seriously. The BEST wedding planner out there!

Cortney was on it! She answered my panicked text messages in less than a minute. She was able to wrangle a crazy (slightly intoxicated) group of men with ease. She would get stuff done without my knowing that it even needed to happen. She also reminded me when it was time to pick a photographer, meet with the florist, taste cake, etc. I felt like I could focus on the details that were more personal to me instead of worrying about the planning process. Overall the experience was stress-free and fun! She also calmly corrected mistakes during the reception. Seriously, this gal is the cat's pajamas. Cortney and her team were amazing from the very beginning of our engagement! My Fiance and I were not originally considering a planner, but completely changed our minds when we met Cortney on a venue tour. She was an invaluable asset throughout the planning process and on our actual wedding day; organizing, scheduling, and providing references for fantastic vendors, with whom we ended up working as well.

On the wedding day, my 92-year old Grandpa realized that he had chosen a regular tie instead of a bow tie and was very upset. Cortney and Nicolette spent 2 hours searching for a black bow tie (during prom season!) and were able to locate one successfully.

The day itself turned out to be absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier. You would be crazy not to hire her to plan your wedding!

It was a pleasure working with Cortney for our wedding. We hired her as our partial wedding coordinator because we were planning the wedding from NYC. She was extremely accommodating and flexible and met with us when we visited the area a couple times and talked to us on the phone. You can tell she's extremely experienced with weddings and has so many creative ideas to customize each wedding to make it special for the specific couple. I mentioned that I wanted to use paper cranes and she suggested we do paper cranes for our seating cards. Our guests LOVED them! We felt that her service was worth every penny because she helped us cut down on other costs. She's really skilled at finding creative ways to keep the quality outstanding with a budget. It was also a plus that she knew Iva Lee's (our caterer), DJ Todd, florist Petite Bouquet, etc really well because they work together all the time. They are such a perfect team and it made it super easy for me with the planning. On the day of the wedding, she and Nicolette were so good at making me feel at ease. I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing on throughout the whole day. I know she did a LOT of work behind the scenes. I spent the day having fun with all the people I love. My husband and I live in Atlanta, and we needed to pull off a wedding in Feb 2017 for about 100 guests at the Casa Romantica back in Orange County (where I grew up), and do it remotely from ATL over the course of 7 months, with only 3 trips back home (4-5 days per trip) to Irvine sprinkled in over those 7 months for those absolutely "hands-on necessary" wedding planning tasks. Our families weren't able to help much either with the planning, so it was really imperative that we had a coordinator for more than just the day-of. We hired Cortney and her team to do our partial coordination after meeting with a couple of other wedding coordinators, but she just really blew us away with her organization, how personalized her approach was to us (b/c we wanted to balance our concerns of not wanting a "McWedding", but didn't want to break the bank, either), and how she really kept us on track with our decision-making process...without being too naggy or pushy. Both my husband and I have demanding and time-consuming jobs, and couldn't make the wedding a tippy-top priority, but Cortney gave us wonderful, creative, tailored-to-us ideas when we needed them, and gave us space when there were wedding details that we personally really weren't interested in...she let us make our wedding our own. You know how some weddings you go to, you feel like you could switch out the wedding couple, and could replace them with another couple and nothing would seem out of place? That's not the kind of wedding we wanted. Our family and friends marveled at how bespoke our wedding was, while still being tasteful, fun, and romantic...and, perhaps most importantly for a lot of folks, within budget. Cortney always made time for us whenever we came into town, and with our limited time schedule while in CA or in ATL, she always had time to answer our emails or set up a conference call. She's a true professional at her job, and worth every penny!

I can't believe it has taken me so long to review Courtney and her AMAZING team. I guess I had a bit of post-wedding fatigue (soon-to-be brides--you'll understand!) But I cannot say enough good things about Courtney. From day-one she went above and beyond to understand my vision and help me achieve it without busting our budget. Many times throughout the planning process I tweaked things and asked questions (it felt like I had a zillion questions...but she was always willing and ready to answer them!) Cortney was so professional, efficient snd such a pleasure to work with. She was always available and always had a quick response. During the planning process, Cortney kept us on schedule making sure we never fell behind or were overwhelming ourselves with something too soon. She gave us great insight and ideas as to make our day just how we imagined it. She would let us know what would and wouldn't work and she helped keep track of all of our details and vendors.

Cortney and Nicolette were amazing! Cortney was very quick to respond to all my emails & texts (which was really important to me). There were a few hiccups during the day and Cortney handled them like a champ and didn't tell me anything till after!! I can not say enough great things about Cortney. It was one of the best decisions we made hiring her as our wedding planner. We hired her as a month of planner but she was there to answer any calls, texts or emails I had in the months leading up to the wedding day. We met several times before the wedding and each time she made me feel comfortable and calmed me down. My husbands mother was not able to make it to the wedding because of an emergency but Cortney found a way to incorporate a call from her into reception. We cannot thank her enough that showed us how much she really cared about us, she went above and beyond for us. Our wedding day was so amazing we got to relax and enjoy our big day without having to worry about anything I don't know how we could have done it without Cortney.

Cortney is a must for any bride planning a wedding! I am so thankful I met her, my wedding could not have been done without her. She knows how to put a bride at ease (which is not easy!) and takes every turn with stride. Courtney Helaine is truly a 5 star wedding coordinator. From our first meeting up until our wedding and even after she was completely accessible, personable, and extremely professional.
My fiance and I were less then 2 months out from our wedding and we were having the worst issues with the caterer that we hired. This caterer takes the cake for the worst professional I have ever met. we didn't know what to do and I as the bride was definitely going into panic mode.
Our D.J. Peter Merry recommended a wedding coordinator in our area that he had worked with several times. He told us that she would be able to guide us through our catering fiasco. So we called up Courtney praying that she would be able to help us so close to our wedding date.
Sure enough she had our date free and was willing to meet with us just a few short days after initial contact.
Courtney was a complete life saver. Not only did she get us out of our contract with the caterer we had hired but she also helped us get all of our deposit back and found us an amazing caterer, bar service, and dessert shop last minute and still in our budget.
From my point of view as the bride mine and my Husbands wedding day was flawless. we did not have to worry about a single thing. We are truly grateful to Courtney for all the help she provided us and could not imagine what we would have done without her. She is someone who will always go above and beyond. If I had to do it all over again I would make sure that I had Courtney by my side for all my wedding decisions.

Cortney was amazing!! We hired her about a month prior to my daughter's wedding, my only regret is that we didn't hire her at the get-go!! Cortney is very professional, personable, efficient, attentive and has great attention to detail. I love how she uses Pinterest to get a feel for her brides and a vision for their wedding desires. Plus she made herself available to us via text 24/7. However, what I am MOST grateful for her assistance with the following:
We had serious issues and concerns with a particulate vendor; Cortney reviewed this vendors invoices became very concerned at the inconsistencies and advised us on steps to take on vetting this vendor - needless to say three weeks prior to the wedding we ended up severing our contact with that vendor. Based on recent reviews from other brides of this "vendor" their wedding day was negatively impacted! I believe we dodged a bullet due to Cortney's concerns and red flags!! Cortney then worked effortless in helping us to replace this company. In the end - my daughter's wedding was amazing and beautiful!!!

I first crossed paths with the boy who would be my husband in my freshman year english class. We officially became friends in the fall of our second year and our first kiss was the following spring. After a long "training period" of living together as my sister said garnering great laughter during her speech, we married 15 years later. It was a small wedding. So for our 35th anniversary of "togetherness" we decided to do something fun, and big, and well amazing.

Cortney to the rescue. All I knew was that it had to be casual, and lovely, and fun, and elegant, and beautiful, oh and could it somehow be on a beach but still not all sandy. Fabulous food and music please. I want my friends to have the time of their lives but nothing so stuffy as a "first dance". I just want to acknowledge 35 years of us.... Did that make sense?

Did I mention AMAZING... right down to the bubbles in the glass. The celebration was spectacular and it went off without a hitch. (She even helped me figure out what to wear -- I was clueless).

You know, it isn't the big things... probably any wedding or event coordinator can get that done... it's the little details which make the difference. Cortney was so creative. Her ideas made the whatever-you-call-this-event perfect. THANK YOU!!! <3

Courtney was amazing. We got married at the Adamson House in Malibu CA, May 30th. Our venue only provided the grounds so we had to bring in every vendor on our own. It was a lot of work and overwhelming to me. She jumped in and just made it happen. Everyone loved her and she was very nice to work with. I hired Cortney and her staff to handle my “day of” activities but really she did so much more. I had the stomach flu the week before my wedding and even though I had taken the week off from work to get stuff done, I was too sick to do anything. My sister was not flying in from Chicago until the day before and could not change her flight. Even though I’m sure she had a million other things to do, Cortney stepped up and did everything for me without batting an eye. She even brought me soup. How sweet is that!

Oh Cortney, I don’t know how to thank you and your assistant. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without you. Seriously, I don’t know how you do what you do for a living and stay so calm and poised. When that canyon fire threatened to ruin everything, you somehow managed to find another location and move my wedding with two days notice and it still managed to work out. You said “just trust me!". Cortney is just SO very professional but at the same time friendly and efficient. She has done several parties for me in the past (as the planner and coordinator) and the services she provides goes well beyond what her brochure describes. My one piece of advice to my newly engaged friends is hire Cortney! We hired Cortney over a year before our wedding because our venue required a coordinator. From our first meeting with Cortney, my mom and I knew we were in good hands. You can tell that she knows what she is doing, and she calmed me down many times throughout the planning process. In the end she was right about all the calculations, and all the miniscule things I wasted time stressing about. Her advice comes from numerous past experiences, and is worth it weight in gold. She was also a blast to work with!

She is organized, assertive, sweet, smart, and extremely quick on her feet when it comes to wedding emergencies. We had a dispute with our caterer the day before our wedding (to the point that we were threatening to sue them for hundreds of thousands of dollars and change the location of our wedding), and Cortney handled it like a true pro. She held the caterer accountable and fought for us, while coming up with a plan B and C on her end. She was really the only person that kept me sane during this extremely stressful wedding nightmare. My family is eternally indebted to her for fighting for our rights, and pushing the caterer to come up with creative solutions, which eventually saved our wedding.

We ended up having the wedding of our dreams. I never realized how stress free this day would be when all of the logistics were in Cortney's hands. I didn't have to deal with any vendors, even when we wanted to extend the party. Also, Cortney thought of all the pre wedding preparations that would make the day go smoothly. If you want a wedding coordinator that takes charge, and is immediately is respected by everyone, then my advice is to hire Cortney. My parents loved her, my fiance loved her, the wedding party loved her, the kids loved her, and of coarse I (the bride) loved her! Thank you Cortney for making my dream wedding a reality!

We had a destination wedding at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, which we planned from ohio. It turned out picture perfect and was stress free. Cortney was very reassuring and resourceful in her contacts. She even foung us a Chinese speaking Bilingual DJ. Everyone Loved it. Cortney was the most wonderful event planner I have ever dealt with. I am very particular and detail oriented and so is she. She was able to prevent major problems by being so organized and anticipate the minor problems with back up plans and contingencies. She thought of absolutely everything.
I thought that I was going to be able to handle our Bar Mitzvah reception and celebration by myself but the biggest thing (that I did not anticipate) was how much of a help she was during the event. She handled all of the vendors, set-up, and even pick-up of some items. She was there to direct the guests, make sure the seating arrangements were correct, the place cards were laid out, the centerpieces were correct, the band was on time, the guest book was in place, handled the gifts and even made sure the cupcake display was color coordinated. Had she not been there, I would have had to do all of those arrangements and I would have missed out on my party. There is a lot to do during the party and that was the part I had not counted on. She made our party go smoothly and she made it look easy (which I know it was not).
Cortney will be the first call I make for my next party so that I get to enjoy the party along with my guests.

I renewed my vows at a park in Dana Point. The day couldn't have gone any smoother. We planned the whole wedding in 2 months tops. Flexibility, perfection and commitment to excellence should be the company motto. Cortney came to my house late one night because I was busy and had to work, and showed me various pictures and ideas for themes and decorations. She also brought the paperwork for various locations that we had previously discussed via email so that we can get that going right away. We didn't have much time. We kept in touch via email and text messaging to check on progress and when each step was accomplished. She even put my party favors together for me. The day finally came. She arrived early at the park and met with the delivery trucks and organized the set up. She even personally delivered breakfast to our hotel room. All we had to do that morning, was show up and walk down the aisle. Thank you Cortney for making life much easier. I couldn't have done it without you.

Cortney was a great help with our wedding. She took a lot of the stress off by helping me with all the details, set up, running around and picking things up, coordinating with the vendors, and making sure the day went smoothly. I enjoyed my wedding at least 10 times more because of Cortney. We hired her just near the end for day-of coordination but she was so much more than that. She met with us ahead of time to make sure that we had all the bases covered (and we didn't :). She collected the contact information for all of our vendors and took care of making sure that all of that was confirmed, on the right day, at the right time, etc - about 10 calls that I did not want to make the week of the wedding. She came up with a brilliant back up plan for our outdoor wedding in case of rain. She ran the rehearsal ceremony - which was very necessary as we were all just kind of milling around without her direction. And last but in no way least, when the rental company sent one less table cloth than was ordered, Cortney simply called in a favor from a local restaurant that she works with, and they gave us a beautiful table cloth for the night. Those are the kinds of professional connections that allow her to solve any problem. And those are just the things I know about - the wedding went so completely smooth it seemly impossible. I am sure that there were a ton of things she did at the wedding itself that I didn't even know about (and probably didn't want to know about.)

Wedding planner

I’m thrilled with the way everything turned out at our wedding thanks to Cortney and her team. I didn’t have time to research vendors and I don’t live in Orange County, so I relied heavily on Cortney to pick and hire the vendors. Everyone she hired was fantastic. All I did was put together a simple pinterest page, and Cortney translated it into exactly what I wanted. It was a beautiful, easy, simple yet elegant day. Cortney thought of everything, so I didn’t have to stress about details. Jordan was with us on the day of the ceremony and was a wonderful presence behind the scene making sure every candle stayed lit and that everyone knew what to do. We're glad that Cortney was our wedding coordinator and no doubt was the best choice we made. We later found out that our bakery vendor forgot to deliver our entire order and arrived late. She handled it fluidly and took care of the problem on the spot. We received compliments from our guests that Cortney was very attentive to a few children that were present that evening. Also, we appreciated the special touches she did for us without us asking for it and we felt that she took care of us that evening.

Flexible but not detail oriented

We hired Weddings by Cortney Helaine in early 2019 when planning our 2020 wedding. We originally worked with Nicole, an employee, who gave us the tour of our venue and seemed to know her stuff!

We worked with Nicole up until COVID hit, and at that point began to work with Cortney directly. Cortney was fantastic at helping us reschedule our wedding not once, but twice. She contacted all of our vendors for us and helped keep track of all contracts that needed to be updated. As our big day finally approached, we were told that Cortney would be taking over our big day and we would no longer be working with Nicole. This was no problem at all as I had worked with Cortney on and off since early 2020. Cortney was extremely responsive and always quick to get back to me via email, call, or text.

When it came time for finalizing all of our wedding details, there was some understandable disconnect as many of our plans had been made with Nicole originally. However, as we went over details it felt like there was some resistance from Cortney on things that I had nailed down with Nicole. Our final walk-through felt like we were reviewing details from scratch which was a bit unsettling.

The described disconnect did continue into rehearsal and the wedding day as well. Some details that were discussed were not executed and it felt like the easier road was taken instead of executing all of our requests. I had hoped there would be more communication from the coordinator to me throughout the day, but there was not.

Overall, our wedding day went beautifully. The details that were missed were minor and only noticed by those who helped us in our planning.
