    The staff at wedding world were very respectful and accommodating. The fitting rooms are huge so you don't feel cramped. They also have a nice selection of plus sized dresses and dresses to fit any budget. Highly recommended!

    I Initially shopped at Wedding world for my wedding dress as one shop to visit. The service was great, but I felt a bit rushed and overwhelmed as the attendant kept handing me dress after dress to try on......ended up trying on over 20 dresses and confused me a bit. They are very helpful, the prices are great, but the service felt rushed with trying to fit in as many try-ons in an hour as possible.

    I would say that my experience with this store wasn't too bad - though it wasn't ideal either. I initially called to see if I required an appointment to try on dresses and was told that there wouldn't be a need, so I could just come in whenever I was available. When I arrived I was asked if I had an appointment and when I said no I was then told that I required one, but because I was already there, they still took care of me.

    After waiting around for about a half an hour (which gave me time to look through their selection), I was put into a dressing room and the manager Francis was a great help in assisting me find my dress. I was happy when I finally found something that I was really happy with.

    When I returned to the store a few weeks later to purchase the dress and have my measurements done, I was disappointed to see that the girl taking my measurements wanted to put me into a dress that was larger than what I required. When I asked her why she was putting me in a larger size then my measurements required she responded by saying I didn't need to be self-conscious, as wedding dresses always fit smaller than regular size dresses. I explained to her that the number on the tag wasn't my concern, the problem was that I required a size one notch down from what she was putting on my order because that size was more aligned with my actual measurements that she just took. Francis then came to the counter and I spoke with her and she recommended that I try on a dress in the size I was requesting by the same designer to see if it fit - and what do you know, it fit perfectly...so she changed the size on the order. Not sure what was going on with the other sales clerk - maybe it's a way for them to make you pay for unnecessary alterations since they do them in store - who knows.

    When my dress arrived a few months before my wedding I went to pick it up and tried it on and fit perfectly so I was pretty happy that I stuck to my guns about the size as I required abolutely no alterations :)

    Again, while my experience with this store wasn't perfect, it still could have been a lot worse and I really appreicated Francis' attention.

    This store is ridiculous. This place is only getting half a star because I have to put in some sort of rating. Trust me if I could it would be getting a big fat ZERO. My friend ordered her dress from here SIX MONTHS before her wedding and when she asked to put a rush fee on it to make sure it was here on time the lady told her there was no need the dress would be in in plenty of time......It's now THREE WEEKS before the wedding and she still has no dress and the only thing they can tell us is "well if the dress isn't here by your wedding day you will get a full refund" I'm sorry but how does that help my friend?! Is she supposed to go out the morning of her wedding to find a new dress. The management is a joke here, I'm pretty sure the owner Francis just hides in the back of the store pretending she's not there and doesn't return anyones phone calls. NEVER BUY A DRESS FROM THIS STORE! I know many people getting married in the next few months up in Edmonton and I will never say a good word about this store. WHAT A JOKE

    About two weeks ago, I called this store to see if they were open this Thanksgiving weekend. A gentleman said he would check with his manager, and then he returned to me and said that you would be open both Sunday and Monday of this Thankgiving long weekend. He even booked me in for an appointment for Today, Monday October 11th. We arrived to discover that the store was closed and I must say, I am extremely disappointed that the store did not have the courtesy to call me and reschedule once they had decided to be closed for the holiday.

    I have a few friends who are engaged and I will definitely be recommending that they shop elsewhere for their dresses. If the store cannot responsibly call their clients to cancel appointments, then how can brides trust that the store will be responsible when ordering/altering dresses?

    We did contact this customer back very promptly after this had taken place to apologize sincerely as this was an honest mistake that was made. We do work hard for our customers to ensure that dresses are ordered correctly and that they are on time. We are not the type of place that needs the trouble shooter to come to our store to get us to help out the customers. This is a tough industry and we do work to ensure that we are delivering dresses on time and in a professional manner. One appointment was missed and we have apologized. We feel that taking to the internet to voice complaints is a good way to see how people feel about a store but also to see how a store responds to a complaint and we can only say that we are truly sorry we missed this appointment however; we are a good store with honest morals and standards and this was not done intentionally.
