Wonderful Planning Experience
Working with Leslie @ Wedding Savvy was a lovely experience! Leslie is so organized, creative, kind, and responsive. She helped make our wedding day (and the planning process) so special. Leslie made the most detailed "day-of" schedule that kept the day running so smoothly. She has such a wonderful and calm presence which was invaluable on our wedding day. She also has a vast network of wedding vendors who she works with regularly. I highly recommend working with Leslie! -

Made our day flawless
I knew I would need a day-of management for our wedding at the USNA Chapel and Club, and with less than ideal time left before the wedding, I reached out to Wedding Savvy for help. Leslie Jefferson returned my call almost immediately, and from that point on never let more than minutes go by before responding to texts or calls. But timeliness wasn’t even her most impressive skill, attention to every nuanced moment leading up to the wedding is what made Leslie priceless to us. She has an acute knowledge of her towns and other vendors; her offer to help with last minute issues I would not have ordinarily put on anyone else kept important aspects of the wedding from complete collapse. Being an out of town bride, I didn’t know who to go to for some last minute printing. Leslie took care of this and made sure we had everything we needed. Leslie, was with us at rehearsals to be a second set of eyes and ears; she was with us early on the wedding day making sure everyone did their part, showed up on time and made our day beautiful. She stays calm and she calms others with her kind and supportive demeanor. Leslie was such a blessing to me from the time she took us on.

I’m a newlywed and had the pleasure of working with Leslie for my wedding on 11/2/24! Leslie was AMAZING! She took the time to really build a connection with my fiance and I and made sure that the two of us were receiving the best quality work from each vendor. Leslie made the planning process and day of run so smoothly. I was so anxious about feeling stressed but Leslie took all of that stress away. I would plan a wedding a million times over again if I could work with Leslie! -

The perfect planner for your day!
Leslie, Emily, and the rest of the team at Wedding Savvy made planning our wedding a breeze! They were extremely well organized, providing templates and shared documents to help facilitate planning and tracking what all we needed to do. The team also was immensely helpful in coordinating vendors day of and ensuring that our reception was set up beautifully - this team CRUSHED it for us!
My husband and I would 100% recommend working with Leslie and the rest of the Wedding Savvy team for your planning needs - they gave us so much confidence throughout the process and really helped to keep our stress levels low while planning! -

Wedding Savvy
I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner initially as I was thinking I could coordinate everything myself. After deciding on a big wedding I thought twice about it. After discussing a different packages with Leslie Jefferson, I decided to work with her for the entire process. She was wonderful. She recommended several venders who we hired. We were married Aug 26, 2023 at the Baltimore Museum of industry. There were 185 guests. Leslie kept us organized and stayed in touch with all the vendors throughout the entire process and the day of the wedding. It was such peace of mind knowing she was there handling all the details. The ceremony was beautiful. We had a full service sit down dinner , cocktail hour /reception , open bar and DJ. Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, thanks to Leslie. I couldn't of done it without her. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend using wedding Savvy for your wedding.-

Exceptional Experience with Wedding Savvy!!
A little over two months ago, our daughter was married in North Beach at Herrington on the Bay. We knew it would be a good idea to hire a Wedding Coordinator because we had various
outside vendors, family coming in from out of town, and friends flying in from all over the country. The coordination of these moving parts was a bit overwhelming, although the venue was wonderful to work with, we knew it would be wise to get some help! Herrington on the Bay recommended that we reach out to Wedding Savvy, a full-service wedding planning and consultation company based out of Eastern Maryland. Our first call was with Senior Consultant, Leslie Jefferson. To say that Leslie was delightful would be an understatement.
She took the time to get to know our daughter, her maid of honor (our younger daughter) and
me (the mother of the bride). We hired Leslie to assist us two months out, and she coordinated the vendors and created a minute-by-minute timeline for the wedding. There was no detail missed, and Leslie even brought up many items that we had not considered. She was a God-sent! Leslie also worked seamlessly with the staff of Herrington and made sure they were synced with her master timeline. She coordinated 4-5 meetings between our daughter, her sister and myself, and kept a timeline of tasks and needed information.
Leslie had a calm and confident demeanor that left everyone feeling reassured as we approached the week of the wedding. She handled the behind-the-scenes “to-dos” with grace and efficiency. On the morning of the wedding, my husband went out to the venue and noticed a volleyball team had set up on the beach, just behind the location where our daughter would be having her ceremony. We let Leslie know and she took care of the situation without delay, letting the volleyball players know that this was a private beach, owned by the venue, and that
her client had reserved this beach area for wedding. This gave them time to relocate to a different section of the beach, much further down, so they did not disrupt the ceremony.
We were so happy with Leslie and the Wedding Savvy Team!! The greatest compliment came
from our daughter who said it truly was “the best day of her life.” If you are looking for a wedding consultant, please consider Leslie Jefferson and her staff. They definitely received 5 stars from the Lathrop family for their professionalism, being exceptionally detailed, kind and absolutely lovely.

Best wedding planner!! Leslie is amazing
Leslie from Wedding Savvy was the best wedding coordinator we could have ever asked for. We first met her two months out from our wedding and she helped us work through timelines and create our vision for our May wedding. She was the most organized, professional, and communicative planner and helped the planning process go so seamlessly. She, along with her assistant Sydney, kept our wedding day running so smoothly, keeping us on schedule and handling anything and everything in such a professional way so we could enjoy our day. So many of our guests gave us compliments about her saying how great she was! She truly made the day so special and we are forever grateful.

Outstanding Wedding Planners!!!
Hire Wedding Savvy for your best wedding ever! Your day will be outstanding!!
I was an out-of-town bride and needed someone local to give expert advice, handle planning, and provide day-of management. I interviewed several planers, but from the moment I contacted Wedding Savvy, I knew they were the ONE!
I worked with Leslie, and her responsiveness, professionalism, and knowledge are beyond superb and spot-on. She got back to me immediately when I had questions, provided excellent guidance, and was proactive on all details. In addition, Leslie's knowledge of the Annapolis area, wedding venues, and vendors is exceptional. She got to know me, and she know exactly what I wanted, and made that happen. She is expert in her field! She is also kind, caring, and supportive--a truly wonderful person!
Our wedding was held at the Naval Chapel and the Naval Academy Club. Wedding Savvy new all the policies, procedures and protocol of the Academy, which made our day smooth and seamless for both my guests and the wedding party. Leslie's contacts and knowledge of the USNA was a huge stress relief for me.

She also stands out for her kind and pleasant demeanor and her “can do” attitude even in the last weeks when the pressure is high. Perfect coordinator service for our wedding!
We highly recommend working with Leslie! Our wedding felt like a dream, and being able to hand the reins over to Leslie (and feel confident doing so!) was a big part of it. We are really glad we were able to work with her and are very appreciative of all her help making our day run smoothly. Her help keeping us on track even let us eat dinner (!!), and her help managing our friends and family ensured everyone had a great night. She also helped set up our diy flowers, making that project possible! Multiple people commented to us "your coordinator seems to be amazing!" and we have to agree. -

Seamless From Beginning to End
Working with Leslie at Wedding Savvy was a true difference maker for our wedding. I was hesitant about hiring a planner because I get nervous giving up control, but looking back we could not have done it without Leslie’s help. She listened to us closely and helped execute on our vision without pushing things on us. In addition, she has the most calm and professional demeanor, which is critical during the stress of wedding planning. Lastly, Wedding Savvy was flexible with the budget and we were able to create a 2 month planning package with some extra hours to suit our exact needs. We cannot recommend Wedding Savvy enough 5/5! -

Incredible Experience- including two postponements!
Words aren't enough to describe how pleased I am with Wedding Savvy but I will try! I purchased their 2 month and day of package. From my initial meeting with Leslie Jefferson to my many meetings and email exchanges with Gina Ingel, my husband and I felt cared for. We unfortunately had to postpone twice due to COVID-19, but 3rd date was the charm! Every little detail was appreciated from listening to us vent about options regarding postponing, the organized day of timelines for bridal party and vendors, help with a tricky vendor, last minute run to the store for umbrellas, helping me with shoe & outfit change, making sure our party bus had what we needed, cute decoration of our honeymoon suite and more! -

Mother of the bride planning wedding during covid
Like many other couples during these Covid-19 times, my daughter and her fiancé had to cancel their planned venue for an intimate, family-only wedding in my backyard. We reached out to Wedding Savvy to help plan the space and coordinate vendors for a tent, seating, and flowers. Although we only needed a few hours of consultation, Leslie treated us as if we were full-service clients, giving us her full attention and making sure that the vendors delivered. Everything came together seamlessly, and the result was absolutely beautiful. -

Planned a wedding during COVID--19 and Wedding Savvy pulled it off!
Wedding Savvy was wonderful. I planned a wedding during COVID-19 thus all of my details were changing on a regular basis. Leslie made sure we were organized throughout the process. The best part was on the day of the wedding. We had a small intimate wedding and Leslie treated it as if it were just as important as any other large wedding. She took care of all of the stressful details while I sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the day. I definitely would recommend Wedding Savvy. -

Incredible!
We worked with Lauren, and she went above and beyond our expectations for hiring a planner. We weren't sure what to expect from working with a wedding planner - I tend to be a bit of a control freak. However, working with Lauren couldn't have been any more pleasant of an experience. She was always more than helpful and picked up on all the slack I had no idea I was letting out. Lauren was always available and was able to come up with helpful ideas when we needed to get creative. I truly don't know how we would have gotten through the day or weekend as smoothly as we did without her. Whether it was dealing with a sometimes frustrating point of contact or figuring out how to get my father's torn pants sewn, she was on top of it all! The owner, Raquel, even offered to step in and help when we ran into some issues. They work well as a team and always strive to put your needs and wishes above all! -

Awesome Wedding Planner Services and Support
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Wedding Savvy and their team for their invaluable wedding support throughout our wedding planning period and day of wedding support. Best Money You Will Spend on Your Wedding
I just want to say that Wedding Savvy provided my wife and I with the best experience we could have ever imagined. We had our wedding in Annapolis in September 2019 for over 300 people. As anyone can imagine, having a large wedding can be an extremely daunting task especially when you and your wife have a a full time job, but we are so thankful we had Wedding Savvy as our partner. As first time wedding planners, we had no idea where to begin or how to plan, and Wedding Savvy did EVERYTHING for us.
We were initially recommended to Raquel by our event site because they have done weddings in Annapolis and when we met her we were blown away by her professionalism and attention to detail. We were interviewing several planners for a full time service and as soon as we met Raquel we decided to sign with her and her team. She asked us about our budget, our vision, and provided us with a full plan on how we can meet the expectations of our special day.
After we had decided to work with Wedding Savvy, we were matched with Raquel's senior consultant, Leslie Jefferson. Leslie was a rockstar. She was extremely organized and provided us with great suggestions throughout the whole planning process. She was well connected with vendors in the area and was able to provide us vendors with great reviews that fit within our budget. She was so great to work with and was always willing to send an email, pick up the phone, and schedule a meeting with us whenever we needed. When you hire a full time planner, being able to have access when you need it most is extremely important and she was great at communicating.
Aside, from the planning, Leslie went above and beyond on our wedding day as well. She went out of her way to pick up things for us last minute, make sure accommodations were made, and was extremely flexible from managing the event. Her assistants were fantastic on the day of as well making sure my wife, myself, my family, and all of our guests were having a good time and ensuring that we had everything that we needed. Even when things may not have gone to plan, the team thought quickly on their feet and made sure that things were fixed and back on schedule.
The thing I would say that's most important is the level of organization that Leslie had when managing our contracts, vendors, and event sites. It's tough to keep track of everything and they had everything available when it was needed.
Overall, the money you spend on Wedding Savvy is one of the best budget items you can allocate on your wedding day. Peace of mind that things will go smoothly and according to plan is worth every cent. I recommend Leslie and Raquel to anyone about to have a wedding and I can assure you that you will be in the best hands in the industry. -

Raquel and her team provided stellar service. Raquel knows what she is doing and provides a service that is so necessary in the wedding process. She kept us organized, on schedule, handled all vendors and last minute issues with the ultimate professionalism. Truly money well spent! An Awesome Experience!
Note: This a review for Wedding Savvy's hourly services, so we paid an hourly rate for seven hours of day-of coordination.
The owner, Raquel, was extremely responsive, professional, and warm from the very start, and worked with us to adapt their services to fit our budget for our 60-guest backyard wedding. Our day-of coordinator Stephanie was absolutely fantastic and I'm so, so glad we chose to have the help on our big day. We had two phone calls prior to the wedding (an introductory one a few weeks before, the second a more thorough call a few days before) which were a big help in smoothing out the logistics and reassuring me that we were in good hands. While I only saw her briefly in the lead-up to the ceremony, Stephanie and her assistant Margaret were great, checking in on me a few times and otherwise dedicating themselves completely to getting everything ready in time. Everyone who interacted with them said they were amazed at how professional and efficient they were! Before I knew it, Stephanie was happily telling me "Okay, go get married!" and I was off walking with my dad down the aisle.
The rest of the night went beautifully. Everything I wrote down in the forms and everything we discussed on the phone (table placement, centerpieces, etc.) was taken care of. In addition to the larger brush strokes, they shined with the little details too -- Stephanie was right there with us when we wanted to make some last minute changes (like forgoing a planned reintroduction so we could rejoin cocktail hour early -- she communicated this to the DJ without us having to do a thing) and Margaret was ready with our chosen cocktails right as Nick and I left the ceremony and headed to do group photos!
Working with Wedding Savvy was a lovely experience and really, truly helped ensure that we could enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. Everything passed by so quickly that it meant a lot to us to be able to spend it all laughing, dancing, eating, drinking, and reconnecting with our families. Thank you for everything! -

Planning Perfection
Absolute wedding sanity life saver & master planning services. Raquel worked with me to work out logistical details, flagging possible hiccups early to solve BEFORE the wedding day. The value of this showed the week of my wedding where the reigns were officially handed over and I simply relaxed & enjoyed. Our day went off PERFECTLY, literally PERFECT and where I was worried about time, we had EXTRA. Raquel was AMAZING., working seamlessly with vendors & was SO thoughtful. Examples: Snagging my mom from cocktail hour to ensure the reception was set up to her liking. Having an AWESOME plate of food for my husband & I pre reception, complete with our signature cocktails. Getting my flip flops for me so I didn't need to leave the reception AND cleaning our decor out of the venue (including band green room) so we had absolutely nothing to worry about the next day. I can't imagine our wedding day, or planning for it without her! My VERY detail oriented Marine hubby was super impressed too. Don't think twice about booking Wedding Savvy!-

Raquel Shutt, owner of Wedding Savvy, is fabulous at what she does and I was honored to have her as my "month of/day of" coordinator! At first I was hesitant to hire a planner, but I knew on my big day I would need someone and thank goodness it was Raquel. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her! Initially, I didn’t think I needed a planner. As we progressed through the planning process, I realized it was a far more complicated task than originally anticipated. Raquel and the Wedding Savvy team were recommended to us by a family friend. I am so glad we decided to hire their team. Nia was our assigned coordinator. She is patient, carefully listened to my “vision” for the day, offered honest and useful feedback, and her plans were extremely detailed and organized. She brought a lot of details/ideas to my attention that I wouldn’t have thought of or had initially considered not important. There were a few miscommunications between my fiance and I and she handled those situations patiently and professionally. Nia wasn’t able to make our walk-through at the venue, but we were lucky enough to have Raquel fill in for her. From the relatively small amount of time spent with Raquel, I can confidently say she is an expert and well connected in the wedding world. One of the most helpful things Nia did for us was putting together a well detailed and organized schedule for the day of for vendors, the wedding party and family. This kept everyone on the same page and was especially helpful keeping us on time as we had to change plans on the fly once it started pouring rain that afternoon. Ultimately, I felt our day went off without a hitch and I was able to enjoy our wedding thanks to the work of Nia and her team. -

Wedding Savvy
I cannot imagine getting through my wedding without Raquel and her team from Wedding Savvy. Though we only had a “day-of” coordination package, she started working with us nearly two months ahead of time to make sure we’d thought through all the details. She helped us create timelines, the all-important “who needs to be where when” document, and also recommended local vendors that were able to put the finishing touches on our special day. She even let us borrow a decorative bowl from her dining room to collect our guests’ cards. It was very clear from the other vendors how lucky we were to have her organizing our wedding day, they were all delighted and excited (and relieved) to be working with her. Our outdoor wedding day ended up getting rained out but she didn’t miss a beat - we ended up finding a way to do the ceremony indoors and it was still incredibly special, and started on time! She also seemed genuinely excited for us as a young couple the whole time we worked with her. She was hands down the most valuable investment we made in our wedding. Crazy huge bang for our buck! Wedding Savvy, we love you! -

Wonderful Experience
Wedding Savvy was an absolutely indispensable part of our wedding planning experience. I went in to wedding planning so unaware of just how many logistics and details needed to be considered - especially given we were having a home wedding where nothing was pre-set or determined for us. Our wedding coordinator from Wedding Savvy was essential and made everything so much easier for us - Nia made sure every detail was accounted for, and I knew I could step back and let her manage everything so I could just enjoy the day. This service is a must more than I ever imagined! Our wedding day was without a challenge. At least we didn't have a challenge, with Wedding Savvy handling everything! We had an outstanding experience and we had a blast at our own wedding..... and it was a pleasure and having wedding savvy in charge. Raquel had a schedule to follow and kept everything flowing appropriately, She would subtlety ask me if I was ready for the entrance, toasts, first dance, cutting the cake etc, and I would say :"give me 5" or yes. From set up of cocktail hour outside and reception inside as well as deliveries of cake, desserts, flowers, linens, photos, ceremony etc. Raquel was right there handling all of it. I thought I could do it as I am very organized. I am sooooo very glad I worked with Wedding Savvy to do everything. There are so many things to think of in planning a wedding and especially on the day of your wedding. She helped me every step of the way. I can’t thank you enough for all you did to make Dana and Jesse’s wedding
a total delight for all of us. Gina attended to every detail at the hotel
while Katie was amazing helping us get ready here at our house. She was calmly able to
fix a pretty major bridesmaid’s dress malfunction while making sure the bridal party was ready to go.
We were able to enjoy this very special day in our lives due to Gina’s expert advice and
guidance from the start. Sarah Lubawski, Gina, Katie, Korry and Dave were an amazing team
trying hard to make the outdoor ceremony a reality with the forecast predicting no rain and the
skies looking ever threatening. Even with an 11th hour decision as the rain started in earnest,

Gina truly exceeded my expectations. From 2 months out, she ensured my contracts were in line and all the small details were not missed. She was always available for questions and advice. My wedding day took place over 6 months ago, and my husband and I still daydream about the day. Wedding Savvy, Inc. was a game changer for me, especially since I was planning my wedding from California. Leslie was a fairy godmother, who thought about everything, and planned every detail, so that I didn't have to think about it, and I could go about my daily life without the worry of planning a wedding by myself. My stress was so low because of her, and I can't thank her enough. From the constant communication, to the recommendations, to being the go-between with vendors, she was incredible. And to top it all off, she and her team created a fairytale reception for us! I cannot even describe the ease that I felt the day of the wedding, and it was all because of her. It was such a neat moment to arrive to our reception, with no idea of what the event would look like (because I didn't lift a finger in the coordination), but to have complete trust that our vision would be fulfilled. Yes, it was expensive, but we wouldn't have had it any other way. I did not want to assemble table arrangements, or craft the days leading up to my wedding, because I would much rather pay for the convenience and sit back and enjoy the festivities. I was the first of my friends to get married, so I had zero recommendations for vendors, and on top of that I was planning my 200-guest Maryland wedding from California (with less than a year from choosing our venue to the wedding day). At first I was hesitant about using part of our budget on a planner, but can honestly say that having Amelia as a partner in our planning process was worth every cent.
Amelia started by providing an incredibly detailed budget spreadsheet, and going through it with us step-by-step to help us figure out what our most important items were and where we could cut costs. From there, she provided a design inspiration board and vetted vendor recommendations to make our selection worry-free. Since I am on the West Coast, Amelia arranged calls late in the evening to accommodate our work schedule, which we were SO thankful for.
The event coordinator from our venue was a nightmare to work with throughout the process (and quit without notice 2 weeks out from our wedding day) and Amelia stepped in to make sure things ran seamlessly and that I was not stressed. She helped organize a rowdy wedding party from the rehearsal to the reception (color-coded schedule!), and set up every detail of our venue exactly how I imagined. Our dog was our ring bearer, and Amelia even helped take care of her and to get her to the sitter following our ceremony.
One of my most special memories of the night was right before I walked down the aisle... Amelia adjusted my dress and veil, and whispered to pause for a moment to breathe and take it all in (you can see her in the back of the picture attached).
I'm sure there are so many more things that Amelia did behind the scenes so that we wouldn't have to stress that we don't know about. Amelia was a trusted resource and friend through a process that pushed me totally out of my comfort zone, and I cannot say enough how thankful we were to have her by our side.

Okay, so I already wrote a review for Wedding Savvy, but wasn't logged in to my WeddingWire account so now I can't find that.. but this company is so good they deserve two 5 star reviews! My wife and I had a rough experience with our reception venue who have dedicated wedding coordinators. The first left, the next was let go.. so we said enough.. we are investing in our day and the best way to do that was to make sure all of our vendors are on the same page, and someone to keep us on track so that we can enjoy our day without having to be stressed if everybody is where they're supposed to be, etc.
We contacted Wedding Savvy and explained our situation and they immediately started to assist. Raquel was amazing to work with and flexible on pricing. Raquel assigned Nia to our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator. By the time Nia was assigned to our wedding it was already kind of late due to the problems stating above, but nevertheless Nia was like a superhero arriving at the scene and knowing exactly what to do. Besides my wife and I having to upload our forms to Nia, that was literally the only work that we had to do. Once the forms were uploaded, Nia drafted our timeline, vendor contact form, and vendor details page with how much we still owed to each and when the payments were due. After witnessing that.. my wife and I knew that we had someone special. We communicated primarily via email, and Raquel and Nia responded immediately. Nia portrayed extreme dedication and commitment to us by finding out where/when vendors were supposed to be and she must've revised our timeline like 10 times to ensure that everyone was on the same page! That in and of itself was so reassuring to us to know that someone besides ourselves wanted our day to be special. I strongly recommend Wedding Savvy for your wedding coordination needs. I am so thankful that I decided to use Wedding Savvy for our wedding planning services!! At first, I was on the fence about whether or not I should get a wedding planner in the first place. I am super organized and love knowing/planning every single detail, so I was a bit worried that it would be difficult for me to let go of the reins. To everyone that is feeling this way, I recommend getting a wedding planner!! And here's why:
When I first spoke with Rachel, she assured me that she would match me with the perfect wedding planner. Well, she definitely wasn't lying! Leslie exceeded my expectations from day 1. She was super organized, prompt with her responses, very helpful, and low-key like me. The documents that Wedding Savvy provides you in the beginning of the process were so helpful!! Just to name a few, the documents included a powerpoint explaining the wedding planning process, a timeline for you to mark off when you should complete each step, an personalized itemized budget spreadsheet to keep track of every single expense, and a preferred vendors list for the Eastern Shore area (which 99% of our vendors were on!) These documents alone made the cost of a wedding planner worth it!
Leslie let me have the reins up until the wedding day. She assisted me in planning out our perfect dream wedding and attended all of our meetings leading up to our wedding day. On our wedding day, she made sure to inform me of every little detail that deviated from our original plan, no matter how small it was. She remained in constant communication with all of the vendors and staff at the CBBC and checked up and my husband and I throughout the night to see if we needed any food or drinks. Leslie worked graciously under the radar- I seriously could not have asked for a more amazing wedding planner! I was able to enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about any of the details, keeping me feeling stress-free. I would highly recommend Wedding Savvy and Leslie Jefferson! -

We used Wedding Savvy for a Day of Coordinator for our wedding in April, and it was the best choice for a coordinator. Raquel was a huge part of the process and we were able to work directly with her until the actual day of the wedding, when she left us in great hands of our Day of Coordinator, Nia! Wedding Savvy, specifically Jiae Kim, ensured our destination wedding in Annapolis, MD went off without a hitch. Jiae provided prior-planning services and coordination as well as day of planning/event coordination for my husband and I's 140 person USNA/Governor Calvert House Wedding. Both of us are active duty military who planned our Aug 2016 wedding from California. Let me begin by saying I was hesitant to proceed with a day of coordinator. I was certain there was a family friend or neighbor that could help me direct people the day of my wedding. As I began planning, I realized in order to make sure our day proceeded smoothly, I needed experienced help. I started looking at day of coordinators and was overwhelmed, initially, by the price. I thought it was a big commitment for just "the day of". Long story short..we decided to go with wedding savvy and it was easily the best decision we made for our wedding.
The job went way beyond "the day of". Christine, our coordinator, went above and beyond starting months in advance. She was readily available for help with vendors and ideas. She was incredibly organized and allowed my few weeks right before the wedding to be stress free!
Christine set up my whole venue (even stringing lights throughout a huge white tent). The decorations were stunning. She ensured the events went effortlessly. I received so many compliments on the decorations and timing of things (which was all wedding savvy)! Christine brought two assistants, one that stayed with me the whole day of my wedding ensuring I had everything I needed. She even went on a champagne run for the bridesmaids! I believe whole heartedly that my wedding would not have been perfect without wedding savvy! If you are contemplating a wedding coordinator or palnner..STOP! Wedding savvy is it. -

Wedding Savvy planned our wedding weekend for us starting with the rehearsal dinner at Boathouse in Canton, ceremony at Pier 5 Hotel Waterfront Gardens and reception at George Peabody Library. Our wedding weekend was by far the best time our lives and we are still smiling from ear to ear - this absolutely would not have been the possible without Jiae from Wedding Savvy. We are originally from Baltimore and lived abroad in London during the entire planning process. Jiae clearly paid attention to each and every detail communicated and delivered to a tee. The best decision we made when booking vendors for our wedding was choosing Wedding Savvy for our Day Of Coordinator! Our planner, Jiae, was absolutely amazing! She really made the planning process easy and understood exactly what we wanted for our Big Day. I highly recommend using Wedding Savvy, Inc. There are not enough words to describe how amazing they were. As someone that is in the hospitality & meeting planning industry and has a good understanding how a lot of this stuff works, I honestly hesitated getting a planner at first because I know how extremely high my expectations are and I was worried I would end up not being able to trust the other person to know my style and not be as detailed about everything as I am. I quickly realized that planning a 160-200 person wedding myself, let alone from another state (my husband and I live in Charlotte, NC and we got married at the Naval Academy in Annapolis), was going to be tough. We ended up choosing the day of planner package and were so fortunate to receive Jiae as our coordinator. She was AMAZING! I honestly don't know how to put all my thoughts together because there are so many good things I have to say about her. From start to finish, she was always so professional, extremely knowledgeable and never for a second did I not trust any of her decisions or recommendations. One of the best things is that she always remained so calm and made it seem as if everything was always going to be ok. This was a huge help and what allowed me to always remain calm and relaxed. She always responded promptly and everything was always delivered on time. The day of the wedding day could not have gone any better. She and Amelia were both just simply amazing. Amelia was with us a lot and she was so sweet, so professional and the only reason we were always on time that day. I have heard so many horror stories about stuff going wrong at weddings. The planning, organization, detail coverage & professionalism was exquisite, and the execution was absolutely flawless. It has always been quite hard for me to let go and give up control when it comes to planning, especially being a bride. Wedding Savvy was wonderful from beginning to end! Raquel, the owner, gave us very sound advice before we decided to use them, and she chose Amelia as our main advisor and planner. Amelia was perfect for us. She was a good listener; calm; she had very good suggestions on decorating and choosing things that went together nicely to create the whole ambiance that we were wanting. We found her very easy to share ideas with. She then was able to organize everything into what we were wanting. I would use her again for any other events she could help us with. Raquel stayed in touch to make sure all was going well. In all, Wedding Savvy is an event planning group with much experience, very professional, and who also have a heart. We think of them as "friends in our time of need," and would definitely use them again for any other events they could help us with.

I'll start by saying that Wedding Savvy was by far the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. If you are on the fence- in terms of using a coordinator, more specificially Wedding Savvy, stop doubting yourself now and hire them immediately.
I first talked to Raquel at Wedding Savvy a little over 3 months before my wedding date and at the time I remember I was very close to just cancelling everything and telling my husband we should just elope. The whole process was extremely overwhelming- especially working full-time. After I spoke with Raquel, however, I felt much better about the process, it was more clear and do-able in my mind and I decided to give hiring a coordinator a shot. I ended up working with Jessica and she was THE BEST. We used Wedding Savvy for "day of coordination" which really means they work with you a few months before the wedding to ensure the day of your wedding is perfect. They also stay with you the entire day of the wedding and help things run smoothly.
Everyone I dealt with at Wedding Savvy was extrememly responsive, knowledgable, willing to help, friendly and encouraging. I can honestly say that there were a few times that they saved my husband and myself from things going horribly wrong both before the day of the wedding and during the wedding day. I remember several times during the night of the reception when my husband and I had a moment to talk, we kept saying "what would we have ever done if we didnt have these coordinators here to help out? " I just couldn't have asked for a better day or better peolple to help us.
I also had a significant amount of DIY in terms of centerpieces, and Wedding Savvy was great in terms of planning what pieces went where and setting everything up. Our reception was BEAUTIFUL- just stunning.

Our day (weekend more like it) was AMAZING. We cannot begin to express how happy we are with everything Wedding Savvy has helped us achieve over the last 8 months. It seems like yesterday that we were driving to your office in the ice to start this process.
Gina is the absolutely the best! She is a true professional. From day 1 she listened to everything we threw at her, and then she put together the vision and made it a reality. We had no idea what we were doing but her patience and professional approach made the process seem easy. She has an innate ability to know what we wanted or needed even when we didn’t. She could take our rambling list of wants and desires and transform them into the perfect plan (while making us think it was our idea all along). We grew to trust her and rely on her throughout the planning and often found ourselves asking for her opinion on the way ahead. She became much more than our planner through the process, she truly was part of our wedding. She delivered a perfect set of vendors to suit our personality and desires and left no stones unturned.
The actual weekend was amazing. Your staff under Gina’s lead made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. Even though we knew everything that was going on, they quietly orchestrated in the shadows and were the perfect event managers. We know how much work goes into this and Gina, Amelia, and the others that assisted throughout the process seemed to go above and beyond the call of duty at every step.
We received so many compliments on EVERYTHING! From the rehearsal to the ceremony, the reception, DJ, flowers… literally everything. Even the staff at the Westin said it was the most classic, traditional, beautiful setting and event they had witnessed (and they see a lot). We wanted a classic, traditional, timeless and elegant event and you delivered it perfectly.

Three months before my wedding day I was in a panic! As organized as I am I realized I needed additional support. That is when I reached out to Wedding Savvy to see if there was any way they could help in a time crunch. In short, they absolutely exceeded my expectations!
Their level of organization is un-paralleled. We knew they were keeping track of everything and we were just able to relax and plan. They broke down what seemed like a daunting amount of tasks into very easy to achieve goals and make it manageable.

We hired Wedding Savvy after a very disappointing experience with another wedding planner. Elizabeth came in less than three months before our wedding and did more in the first week than our other planner had accomplished in the prior six. Elizabeth was exceedingly organized and diligent, following up when necessary and double and triple checking all of our vendor arrangements both for our wedding and a large post-wedding party celebration we had the next day. Everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding (we actually were ahead of schedule at times!) and Elizabeth did countless things behind the scenes to ensure our vendors, wedding party, and family knew exactly what to do and where to be throughout the day. Hiring Wedding Savvy for "same day" wedding coordination was the best decision we could have made for our daughter's wedding day. The venue was a "DIY" without any on site built-in help, so the coordination of vendors, same day set up, etc had the potential to be a nightmare for us. Instead, we had a completely worry-free, fantastic day without any glitches. We were 100% satisfied with Elizabeth, our main coordinator as well as Gina, both of whom was either with the wedding party or at the reception site from beginning to end. Any problems in the week leading up to the wedding, Elizabeth offered to resolve and she was 100% reliable and successful. Without a doubt I would recommend them to anyone. -

We cannot say enough good things about Wedding Savvy! They went above and exceeded our expectations in every aspect, whether it was finding a cake vendor or last minute dress alterations the Wedding Savvy team was there. We worked with Gina throughout the planning process. My work schedule is often quite hectic, Gina worked with us to identify planning days/calls that would work best with my schedule and kept me focused and on track during the planning process. While travelling internationally for work, Gina made the planning process a breeze! Our biggest concern was that our wedding weekend be fun and relaxed for everyone involved, we were keen on having a party where we just happened to get married. Gina worked with us and provided suggestions to plan an event with the appropriate balance of the formality of a wedding and fun of a weekend with family and friends. The vendors she suggested were perfect! From our flowers, to the photographer, DJ, and officiant, everyone worked together seamlessly and perfectly coordinated by Gina. We have received and continue to receive so many compliments on everything from the small details to the big decisions. There were a few ideas we had in mind, like glowing orbs on the outside lawn, and Gina scoured the internet and worked with our vendors to make them a reality. The Wedding Savvy team were extreme professionals throughout the entire process. Two weeks before the wedding the grooms father had a stroke and major surgery a week before the wedding. The Wedding Savvy team took this in stride and came up with alternative plans and work arounds in the event that he would not be able to walk down the aisle or needed some rest. To add to the excitement of the weekend Gina went into labor the day before the wedding. Raquel stepped in and the transition was so smooth not a detail was missed! We can't thank the entire Wedding Savvy team enough for everything they did to make our wedding day perfect and stress free! -

Leslie Jefferson was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely fabulous! Her knowledge of vendors, responsiveness and calm and collected demeanor helped to set the tone for our entire event. Raquel helped me plan a 300 person wedding on a blank venue. She always made sure that i felt comfortable throughout the entire process and for that reason i found myself relying on her for support during a very stressful time. Without her, I probably would have gone crazy trying to plan and coordinate with all of the vendors while commuting to DC everyday for work.
Her vendor recommendations were great. We used Kens Kitchen for the food (Ken actually recommended Raquel to me and that is how i found her), Loan Brothers for the tents/floors (we used a mix of different tents but my favorite was the glass roof with chandeliers..it was stunning!), Silver Stems for the flowers (they were wonderful but i do wish they would have followed my directions when i asked NOT to use berries. luckily, they were so beautiful that it didn't matter. The baby's breath alter turned out to be a great addition!), XOXO vintage for some fun decorations (the furniture decor turned out beautiful...the lounges were awesome!) The vendor who stood out the most to me was the photographer that Raquel recommended. Her name is Amy Deputy and she is truly an angel...the bridal party loved her and she left a great impression with EVERYONE.
I trust Raquel & Wedding Savvy to follow through with whatever they promise. The Wedding Savvy Staff always responded to me almost immediately and i always felt comfortable asking for their help. Originally, my wedding was going to be 150 people so Raquel did a great job adjusting numbers and making things happen. Wedding Savvy did a great job from the beginning to the end and i feel 100% recommending them to anyone who wants to have a great wedding! I may even miss seeing Raquel now that the wedding is over! ;) -

Think you don't need a wedding planner? What happens when the groom forgets the marriage license at home and the church won't let the service start without it? Our wedding coordinator, Annie Schmidt, drove to our condo 30 minutes away and went into our file cabinet to retrieve it and bring it to the church on time.
From our first meeting with Raquel, owner of Wedding Savvy, I instantly felt relieved as she convinced us that wedding planning can be an enjoyable process with the right help. Wedding Savvy offers a great "junior consultant" package that is half the price of the competing companies we researched. Our planner had less experience (say 2-3 years instead of 10-15), but was extremely knowledgeable, calm, and organized. Just what we needed! Raquel oversees all of her junior planner's weddings and is available to answer their questions or help problem solve. Annie wrote out a detailed day of timeline and took over communication with all of our vendors. For the month before the wedding we didn't have to talk to the bakery, limo company, hotel coordinator, photographer, church, makeup, hair, etc. etc. about anything. If we had any questions all we had to do was text Annie and she would find the answer for us.
Annie and an assistant insured that the day of ran smoothly and answered any questions our family and guests had. My mom, sister, bridesmaids, and groom where able to completely relax and didn't have to think about logistics or look at a watch.
I would highly recommend Annie Schmidt and Wedding Savvy to any bride and groom looking for some peace of mind and insurance that their wedding day will be everything they imagined. -

We absolutely love working with Raquel and the staff at Wedding Savvy. They planned our wedding almost 6 years ago and this was the first party we've had planned by them (my husband called them to plan my surprise birthday party). I'm not sure we can ever go back to planning our own events! They took care of every last detail, were onsite as often as needed, and every single thing was perfect, right down to the entertainment and color of table linens (since I didn't have a say in my own surprise!!). Even though the party was in our own backyard, the only thing we had to do was show up. Things we never would have thought of were taken care of (all those things you might need for an outdoor party) and the recommended vendors for food, tent, flowers, babysitters, etc were all responsive, timely and professional. We really can't recommend Wedding Savvy enough! -

Thanks to Wedding Savvy our wedding exceeded our wildest expectations and our day was absolutely perfect! We worked with Gina for a year leading up to our day and she was a blessing every step of the way. She connected us with amazing vendors, navigated the cumbersome process of scheduling meetings and and requesting contracts and bids, she tracked all of our decisions and budgets, and on top of all of that she supported us through the entire process. Planning a wedding can be an overwhelming task but while working with Gina we always felt confident that everything would turn out perfectly for our day.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding Gina created detailed day of timelines, inventoried what felt like the hundreds of decor details that I had worked tirelessly on all year and made sure each of our many vendors knew where to be and when to be there.
On our actual wedding day we were able to completely sit back and enjoy the day. The last thing I wanted was for any of our family members to be stressed or feel like they were working at our wedding. We wanted to the day to be a celebration of all of our favorite people and for that to happen they needed to feel like guests.
Our day was everything we ever possibly could have dreamed of thanks to Gina and her team! I'm sure things went wrong, problems arose and people had questions or concerns but I never heard a word of any of it! We floated from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception to find that every detail I had dreamed up had been executed magically. Gina made all of our dreams come true and I could not be more thankful for all of her hard work! -

Working with Gina at Wedding Savvy truly helped make our wedding the best day of our lives! My husband and I met with Gina a few months leading into the big day, and from that point on, she was our go-to person for any questions regarding our ceremony and reception. Gina was so patient and informative during our meetings, and was flexible with meeting times, ensuring that we could always email or call as well as meet with her in person. Most of all, Gina worked tirelessly to make sure that our wedding felt like "ours", and she really listened to our ideas and vision for the day. In the busy days leading up to the wedding, Gina did an amazing job coordinating with all our vendors and wedding party to make sure the day flowed flawlessly. She was such a comfort and huge help to us throughout the wedding day as well, and she honestly helped make it the wedding we'd dreamed of having. My family members and members of our wedding party were blown away with her coordination and her ability to be everywhere without ever interfering with our special moments. Gina is the best!!! -

My husband and I are so glad we decided to hire Leslie Jefferson and the Wedding Savvy team to be our "day of" planner for our wedding. It was the best money spent in our entire wedding budget! Leslie truly exceeded expectations! She started working with us about two months out from the wedding and helped us create our entire timeline for the day – which was fantastic. We would never have been able to think of all of the little details that are crucial in order to make the day run smoothly. She mapped out every minute for us. She coordinated with all of our vendors and ensured me that they were providing everything they outlined for us in their contracts. She even owned communication with them and gave them direction to make sure they knew where they were going and what they were doing when. Leslie was always very enthusiastic and passionate about her work with us – she made it fun! I could text, email, or call her at any time and she was extremely responsive. She came out to the wedding location to meet with us and our vendors on multiple occasions and ensured that we always had productive meetings. Leslie was there with us for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day, which was incredibly valuable. I would highly recommend hiring wedding savvy for your wedding planning! -

Annie with Wedding Savvy, Inc. created the most PERFECT wedding experience for my husband and I. Hiring Annie was without a doubt the BEST planning decision I made and it was completely evident throughout our entire day as everything was a dream. Scheduling and timing is essential to a successful wedding at the Naval Academy and Annie single handedly kept the entire bridal party and all of our family VIPs on track without missing a beat. Annie made a Schedule Of Events for our big day which directed us, our bridal party, family VIPs AND all of our vendors where to go and when to be there. In the weeks leading up to our wedding Annie took over all communication and became the point of contact for all of our vendors; leaving me nothing to worry about! She is so much more than a "day-of" wedding planner. Annie brings to the table a wealth of experience, professionalism and an extremely high attention to detail. On several occasions Annie brought to my attention ideas that I had yet to think of. The biggest example being that my Groom and I booked a wedding suite at a separate hotel for the night of our wedding but we never even thought to check in. Annie called the hotel to make sure we were checked in, discovered that we were not, and took care of the entire process without us knowing or having to worry about doing it ourselves. Then, as a little surprise, she had rose petals placed throughout our suite!! It was the perfect ending to an already magical day. In addition, Annie and her assistant packed up all of our decor from our reception and packed it in my in-law's SUV (and we had A LOT of decor)! I could not imagine placing that task on any family member or friend at the end of such a special day. Jiae, our Wedding Savvy, Inc. assistant, was with us every minute of the day with a bag full water bottles, protein bars, travel hairsprays, lip gloss and everything else we needed. If you are a bride in the Baltimore/ Annapolis area you need these ladies on your team!! -

I cannot say enough positive things about Wedding Savvy. We had an unusual wedding as my husband is British and British receptions are much longer. So our reception was from 3p- 12 am on a boat Raquel worked diligently for many many hours to make sure everything ran smoothly. If there were any bumps in the road I was unaware, she handled everything during the day. As for the planning every vendor she recommended was top notch. My friends still comment that my wedding had the best food and dj. If your are going to spend the money on a wedding planner you will not do any better than Wedding Savvy -

We worked with Leslie Jefferson and were thrilled with the service and support that she provided us throughout the entire process. It was great to have Leslie coordinate all the logistics with our vendors and pull all the different moving pieces together to ensure that our wedding weekend went off without a hitch. Having a wedding coordinator allowed my husband and I to focus on the bigger picture and enjoy our engagement, because we had someone else helping us with the details. The value of the wedding planner was realized especially in the weeks leading to our big day. The two weeks leading into our wedding were stress-free and calm, there really wasn't much for us to do because Leslie made sure that we wrapped things up in advance. When all of the bridesmaid's belongings didn't fit on the trolley, along with us, Leslie piled everything in to her car and took everyone's bags and clothes back to the reception site where we all were staying. (Definitely didn't think of that in advance) Leslie ensured that our wedding reception was setup exactly the way we designed and planned and allowed my husband, mother and me to spend more time with our guests and wedding party taking pictures, so that we didn't need to help with or approve the setup. Leslie picked up and delivered the bridesmaid's bouquets to the reception site, in advance, to be included in the centerpieces for some of the dinner tables. When my feet got sore from my heels, Leslie had my "back up" wedges waiting for me to change in to so I could continue dancing more comfortably. Leslie had our special toasting champagne flutes ready for us during our wedding parties speeches and then packed them up carefully when we were no longer using them. You don't realize all the little things that a wedding planner thinks of or helps out with until you're in the moment and truly appreciate all the little gestures that they took care of for you. -

Wedding Savvy was awesome! We worked with Gina who was the consummate professional. Not only was she on top of everything, but she had an incredible amount of patience. So when I did drop the ball on a detail here or there, so was right there to (gently) remind me of what I needed to do. She was super flexible during the planning process, agreeing to talk at night after I got off of work. She made our wedding day so stress-free by coordinating all of our vendors and I'm sure putting out all sorts of fires from which she saved me. She was extremely helpful to our wedding party, family and my guests as well, even grabbing my wedding shoes from up in our room during the reception so that my husband's aunt could see what they looked like (totally above and beyond, but very much appreciated). Gina was everything I could ask for in a Day-Of Coordinator. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I wish I could give 10 stars. If you need a planner, go with her! -

We originally signed up for full service. Being a new bride and a chronic over planner, my mother and I basically had the entire wedding planned (vendor-wise) within a few weeks. Raquel was great about switching our contract, so we ended up with the 2 month prior option. Leslie swooped in just in time for things to get crazy. My favorite thing was how cool, calm, and collected she is. She didn't seem to mind my constant emails and texts, meetings, questions, etc. The wedding day itself had ZERO issues, or if there were any I didn't know about it! She actually had the fore-site to see we needed more wine before dinner and had someone on her team run out and get it! The day was absolutely amazing, she offered great input, and everything just was wonderful. I didn't have to worry about a thing! -

I cannot speak highly enough of Wedding Savvy, particularly Gina, and the amazing job they did for me on my wedding day. I suppose the highest compliment I can pay them is to say that I was unaware of any issues that occurred on the day. Every detail was accounted for, and I truly got to enjoy the wedding and reception rather than worry about any problems. Gina was prompt, professional, and responsive to any call or question I had. Looking back (on what I can remember since it was such a blur) I wouldn't change a single detail. I loved my wedding day, and I truly believe it was because of the hard work Gina and her assistant put in. Although I didn't need much assistance ahead of time with regard to planning and coordination, I will say that Gina was very helpful when it came to managing difficult vendors. Raquel and Wedding Savvy, Inc. were an absolute pleasure to work with while planning our wedding. Raquel was able to take our vision for both our wedding ceremony and reception and bring it to fruition. With Wedding Savvy based out of Annapolis, Maryland and my husband and I living and working in Ocean City, Maryland, Raquel made it both easy and convenient to schedule meetings with both herself and other vendors including the florist, decor company, photographer, etc. I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been the spectacular event that it was without her vision and ability to turn our simple ideas into such a fantastic, classy occasion. We had a wonderful time getting to know Raquel over the several months we spent planning our wedding with her. She spent a lot of time working with us, getting to know our likes/dislikes and personalities in order to really create a personal and unique wedding experience. Wedding Savvy has a great knowledge of vendor contacts and works with the best of the best. Our band, florist, photographer, bakery and decor company were amazing, all recommended by her. She personally coordinated between us and the vendors, which made it easy dealing solely with her rather than having to call each specific vendor. She was also very instrumental in helping us to stay within our budget and offered advice where to save money and where to perhaps splurge a bit. On the day of our wedding, her and her staff where there every step of the way from the time we started getting ready until the very end, she made sure everything was running smoothly and most importantly, made the day as stress-free as possible. Our "day of" wedding coordinator, Leslie Jefferson, made it possible for me to enjoy my own daughter's wedding. She was available to us way ahead of the wedding. She reviewed all of our vendor contracts and plans for the wedding day. She helped us make a comprehensive schedule. Her suggestions were so valueable to my daughter and I that we stopped worrying and started enjoying the entire process of planning for a wedding. I had been waking up in the middle of the night with anxiety attacks worrying over this "destination" wedding, fearful that I would forget something important. After Leslie stared working with us and helped us outline what we wanted, I slept soundly once again. The day of the wedding went beautifully, exactly as planned. My daughter and I had no worries as everything happened just the way we had envisioned it. Leslie made that schedule happen. I actually arrived at the reception just a bit ahead of the guests and the fireplaces were lit, the candles glowing on the tables, the waiters were waiting with champagne and appetizers, and I felt almost as if I were an honored guest. The entire evening went on that way, from speeches given in a timely manner, to cutting the cake, to the limo arriving on time to take the newly married couple away. It was a grand event and it happened without a single problem, thanks to our wedding , Leslie Jefferson. I recommend Wedding Saavy with the highest regard. -

Not only did she take over two months out and deal with all of my vendors, she made a detailed day-of schedule and distributed it to everyone involved in the wedding to make sure everyone knew where they needed to be. I was so relaxed on my "special day" and everything ran so smoothly! I know that without Gina the day would have been much more hectic, especially since we had more than 250 guests with two separate locations. Gina did an incredible job and I would definitely recommend her to any bride looking to take some of the stress off of your shoulders in the months prior and the day of your wedding! -

I cannot say thank you enough to Raquel Shutt, the owner of wedding savvy. She is amazing! Not only is she so talented and has the best visions and ideas but she is an incredible woman to work with, with a heart of gold. From day one I felt pampered. Never did i have a stressful moment. She made sure everything was right on track. I put all my trust in her. She listened to all my ideas and ran wild. My wedding was a wedding you can only dream of thanks to her. Everything ran so smoothly, everyone still compliments on how perfect our wedding day was. My favorite part is that I was able to enjoy and sit back on my wedding day. My husband and I had moments where we just looked around and realized this day was about us and it was beautiful because of wedding savvy. If you want a wedding day where you can enjoy every little moment I highly recommend wedding savvy. They will amaze you!
Raquel is so easy to get in touch with, she will always listen to you. She caters to her brides. She works with the BEST of the best vendors and they all have high respect for her. She's your go to woman! -
