Carol is the Best JP ever!!!!

Carol Merletti is hands down the best JP to work with. From the first time I called her , she spent about 1 hour on the phone with me walking me through the whole marriage process. We hadn’t been to a lot of weddings and my wife and I were very nervous about not knowing what to do prior to the wedding in regards to paperwork , licensing etc. Carol did a step by step while I took notes.
Carol told me from the start that if I wanted to change the Vows she sent or customize it I should. She made sure I had exactly what I wanted. The night before the wedding at 10pm
She was up late going back and forth to make them just perfect for us.
She was also awesome on the day of the wedding making sure everyone in the wedding knew where to walk and when.
I hope I never have to use Carols services again , but I know she will forever be in the photos on our special day, and we made a great Friend. I would definitely recommend Wedding of your Desire!!!

Great Experience

Carol was excellent! From the very first time I reached out to her to the very end she was on point. She makes it very clear when she is available and her response time is prompt and she's very professional. My family even loved her. I would definitely recommend her if you're looking for a justice of the peace to officiate your wedding.

Carol was great we had our wedding at Fenway Park during the Yankees game. Every one on FB live loved the ceremony and our friends there loved it as well and Carol sat with us after and talked to everyone. The next day my friends were asking for Carol's info for friends. All and all a great night.

Carol/ Wedding of your Desire is amazing! We had a great connection with the first meeting/ interview. She was very clear about expectations and the process, which I really appreciated.

As we got closer to the wedding (I believe we booked her 6+ months in advance) we reviewed details further, leveraging templates and examples she sent right after we reserved her services. She asked questions to truly understand our wants and needs, and was amazing with accommodating the special and traditional requests from our families.

We had a rehearsal which I highly recommend (honestly, I can’t imagine not having one). The value of running through it all a day or two before is priceless.

And the day of, she was perfect. She prepared us well, but during the ceremony I had a moment where I couldn’t quite hear my vow (crying baby in the attendees). She seamlessly restated the vow and all went forward well.

I highly reccomend Carol and her services/ company. I cannot imagine our day without her.

Carol helpeds us make the experience very personal and enjoyable. She asked for our preference and really made the day how we wanted it. On the day, she checked in with us constantly to make sure we were doing well, telling us it was Ok to take a deep breath before proceeding etc. She was truly amazing to work with.

Carol was more than accommodating and a wealth of valuable information beyond her own beautiful addition to our day. We decided on a small, very casual ceremony with just a couple special family members present. Carol is extremely responsive, supportive, accommodating and lots of fun, too ! We are so pleased to have shared our day with her. She helped us pull off exactly what we were hoping for (and then some) in under 2 weeks time!

We love Carol!!
After speaking on the phone with her for our initial consultation, I knew she would be perfect. She was very thorough, responsive and professional! She helped us choose the perfect ceremony and it couldn't have been any more amazing!

Carol officiated our wedding in March and did a fantastic job. A few months before the wedding we met with Carol and she walked us through the process. She provided us with many options for the ceremony and allowed us to pick and chose what we liked to really make the service our own. Carol made us feel at ease during our wedding ceremony and did a great job officiating; our wedding day went off without a hitch.

First of all Carol was so good to us. Neither my now wife nor myself knew what we weren't doing with the marriage license or the ceremony. Carol not only walked us through it but she was warming and kind about it. She was absolutely the best and I'm so glad she was there to unite us. If you are looking for an officiant look no farther. Carol is amazing and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts and we love that she was there not only to marry us but the guide us through the whole process.

Carol is amazing! My husband and I just had our wedding in Boston and Carol was recommended to us by a friend. She was extremely easy to work with and very patient. During our rehearsal, some of the bridesmaids arrived very late due to traffic hours in Boston and Carol was just so patient. While waiting, she would try to get to know everyone in the room. I was very nervous in the days leading up to the wedding and standing in front of over a hundred people. Carol made me feel as if there was nobody there except her and my husband. We had a wonderful experience with Carol and would highly recommend her to couples looking to get married.

Carol was a great selection in officiating our ceremony. We are a same sex couple and we couldn't have asked for anyone more professional than Carol. Right from the first phone conversation we knew we were going to be happy with Carol and she didn't disappoint. She has a great sense of humor, knowledgeable and was very accepting of us and all our family and friends. She did us an honor and stayed for about an hour after the ceremony and enjoyed the celebration with us. Our family and friends commented how wonderful she was and speaking with everyone and having a great time getting to know them. Without a doubt we would recommend Carol to EVERYONE!! She is the best and hopefully we will keep in touch with her as she makes you not only treat you as a customer but as a friend she has know for years. Carol Merletti was amazing at our wedding! During the planning process she was very flexible and valued our views and ideas, while also providing us with advice and information when we needed it. The day of the wedding Carol continued to be supportive and comforting by handling all of the necessary details with care. We loved loved loved working with carol! She is amazing! I found her doing online searches for a jop and I could not have picked a better one! She was very quick with her responses, easy to work with, a great person with a great personality. She worded our vows and was able to change her wine, box and love letter ceremony to accommodate us as we don't like wine. She was perfect, I highly recommend her!

We were kind of freaking out about an officiant because we had no idea how to pick one. After we spoke to Carol we knew we had found the perfect person for our ceremony. She was always very informative and prepared us for the day. She laid everything out for us which made the big day less intimidating. It meant a lot to us that she wanted pictures of us after the ceremony, it showed us just how much she loves what she does.

Rick and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Carol and the time we spent getting to know each other so she could personalize our ceremony. Carol made the process effortless and stress free for us on our wedding day. Since day one with speaking with Carol, she was very informative about the whole process in terms of getting a marriage license, what to review, what to do on the wedding day, etc. We made sure to follow her suggestions so that the wedding day would be efficient and that we would legally be married (marriage license needs to be present when she marries you!!). We would recommend Carol wholeheartedly as she was kind, informative, funny, and having her there on our wedding, you knew that she would support you in any way she could. Also, seeing her smile makes you feel at ease as well. She is very sweet!

When my Partner and I started planning our wedding, we had selected another Officiant to work with, but a few months before our wedding, there was a change of plans and she was no longer able to perform the ceremony for us. So, with only a few months before our wedding date, we began our search. Rather quickly, we came across Carol’s website and were instantly impressed with the wealth of information she had on her site, not to mention how many ceremonies she had conducted. What really attracted us to her was that she performed both straight and gay and lesbian services. Being a Gay Couple, it was important to us that we worked with someone that had experience with a gay ceremony. We called Carol and instantly connected with her. We arranged a time to meet and the planning began. She was absolutely so easy to work with, making the day all about us, while still offering many suggestions. We conversed over the phone and email, she was very responsive. The week before, we connected, finalized the ceremony and were ready to marry. She made it so easy, she focused on us. The day of the ceremony she checked in with us prior to the ceremony and put us at ease. Her style and presence during the ceremony were wonderful. Her voice is so confident and you can just hear the passion for what she does in her tone. The ceremony was beautiful, and people still comment on how nicely it was put together, Carol is owed much of that credit. Thanks for helping us create a ceremony that was personal to us. I will gladly pass your name on to anyone in need of an officiant.

Carol was great to work with! Despite the fact that all of our interaction up until my wedding day had been over the phone or by email (I live out of state), I felt like I had known her forever and it was so nice to feel like she was genuinely interested in getting to know me and my fiancé. During our wedding ceremony there was a small slip-up as the best man forgot one of the rings, but Carol continued like a true professional and didn't let the little bump in the road throw her off. Overall she was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Carol was very helpful and easy to work with. My husband and I weren't sure what we wanted to do for our ceremony. Carol provided us with a lot of options and information which made our decision much easier. Also, with the different options, we were still able to customize and change details so that our ceremony would be unique.

Carol is very friendly, sincere, and helpful. She was flexible in accommodating our change in location when it rained. She arrived early, well/officially dressed, prepared with tissues and tape (which we used), and remembered the names of everyone involved in our small wedding ceremony. Carol provided us with a lot of helpful information in the weeks prior to our ceremony. She has a no-pressure manner of communicating her additional services, and emits a lot of positive energy. We feel fortunate to have had Carol officiate our marriage.

Carol was AMAZING and without her knowledge and insight we would not have gotten married! She suggested that we "expedite" our marriage licence and pay the additional fee and spend the extra time to make this happen. This intuitiveness and extra care saved us THOUSANDS of dollars because the day our marriage licence would have been ready to pick-up from Boston City Hall-would have never happened! This was the day the City of Boston was on LOCK-DOWN! Nothing was open and we would NOT have been able to get our licence to be married the next day-Saturday! Carol is "special" and really took the time to understand our needs and learn about our desires. Funny....as we don't EVER intend to use her services again....lol.....as our marriage is a "one time gig"...but we hope to share her special gift with anyone that wants the perfect wedding day! She did exactly what i wanted her to do. She gave us a short and simple ceremony and actually gave us a copy of all she would say in case we wanted to change anything. She and I had a very long and thorough conversation when I first sought her services and after that she responded promptly to all my emails. Carol was absolutely wonderful. Most of our contact was through email, since my schedule is such that I am busy almost all of the time (even without wedding planning) and scheduling even a phone call takes either weeks to plan or has to be done at the last minute. Carol was exceedingly accommodating and understanding, had multiple options and ideas for the type of ceremony we desired (handfasting), and offered so many insights into wedding/marriage-related issues I hadn't even considered. Carol conducted the ceremony with the respect a wedding ceremony deserves, but brought such excitement and happiness to the occasion that everyone was enthralled. I had so many compliments on our ceremony, and I would recommend Carol to anyone looking for an officiant!

After seeing all these great reviews on Carol's services, we decided to go with her as our Justice of Peace. Carol was very responsive to emails and phone calls, and also gave great suggestions on vows, ceremony ideas, and sent us a whole Word document on blessings to be read at the ceremony. When we finally met Carol on our wedding day (10.20.12) she was very friendly and gathered the wedding party and parents together in the living room to go over details of the ceremony. I'm a cryer so I got emotional during the ceremony but all in all, it was a beautiful ceremony and Carol's services were fantastic! We had forgotten about the sand ceremony but luckily she was there to remind us, and we ended up completing that part indoors. I would definitely recommend Carol to friends and families!

Carol was absolutely wonderful. Between the craziness of the festival going on in the city and trying to find parking to officiate our wedding she did what she had to make sure she was there. Not only was Carol flexibile and professional, she was very familiar with the venue and offered suggestions for our ceremony for parts that we were unsure of. She was incredibly knowledgable about the marriage license requirements and process for an out of town couple getting married in Boston. If we had not been given such complete information, we may not have been able to navigate the steps necessary to get an expedited license. On top of all that, she was so incredibly sweet, and wonderful...because of her, we were able to relax, have fun...and enjoy the game without having to sweat the details. I will never be able to thank her enough.

Carol was amazing through the entire process. We were planning a destination wedding in Boston (Fenway Park to be exact) from Waco, Texas, so there was no way for us to meet anyone. We had to do everything via phone and email. She was always quick to respond and extra helpful with touring and location ideas. She was even flexible when Fenway had a schedule change and we had to move our wedding ceremony up an hour. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Carol was wonderful when I had a problem with the first place that we were going to have to have the wedding a little over three months before the wedding she was very helpful! Carol was a great JP, very easy to work with. We did not do a rehearsal so before the ceremony she made sure to speak to the appropriate people and give them the run down of their roles. It all went down without a hitch. She has some great token things she does for ceremonies like Wedding Box and Rose ceremony ( we did rose ceremony ) just an added thoughtful thing to add into the standard non religious ceremonies.

Carol was great! on 24 hours notice she managed to help put together a "shotgun" ceremony in the Public Gardens that was perfect, this vows that were both appropriate and memorable.
