Where to begin!! Anna was the best resource, visionary, friend, and at times family therapist one could ask for! Our wedding on an island without cars or public access from Portland was SUPREMELY logistically complicated, and Anna handled everything from barge schedules, vendor transport, lodging, to getting 200 people on and off the island over a three day weekend DURING a hurricane. Anna truly thought of everything - securing us last minute tent heaters on an unseasonably cool weekend with many other weddings in the area is just the tip of the iceberg. Anna both brought excellent vendors with her who we never would have found otherwise (such as our incredible florist, photographer, and stationary creator), and worked exceptionally patiently with the vendors we had already booked (band and caterer) who were not local to Maine, and new to the challenges of navigating an island wedding. EVERY SINGLE VENDOR we worked with went out of their way to tell us how rare it is to find a wedding coordinator like Anna, and how impressed they were by her. She was pivotal to us building and maintaining great relationships with our contractors. She truly does the work of ten people.
Anna was with us every step of the way the 9 months leading up to our wedding, and I can say with 100% certainty it would not have been executed with NEARLY the amount of style and ease without her. If you are on the fence about a wedding coordinator, I cannot stress enough HOW WORTH IT IT WAS to have Anna by our side during this entire process. We were able to enjoy our day while avoiding family and logistical strife because of Anna's immense capabilities and organizational acumen. The only downside is that we truly miss our weekly planning conversations with her now that we're married!! The sheer amount of people who have said "hands down best wedding I've been to in my life" to us is in large, large part due to Anna's supremely capable hand in our wedding. We would give her 10,000 stars if we could!! -

Top Notch Wedding Planning Team!
Wed in Maine did a fabulous job with our wedding planning. Their prices are very reasonable and their service was superb. Alanna was our personal planner and scheduled check in calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding that helped us nail down the small details. She was very organized and also gave us great advice on certain aspects of the wedding. She helped run and organize our rehearsal the day before which couldn't have gone any better - it was quick and painless and everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and what they needed to do. I didn't have any worries on the wedding day as she was on top of everything that went on. It made our wedding so much more enjoyable to know she was there and making sure everything ran smoothly. Wed in Maine is an amazing company and we 100% recommend them to anyone planning a wedding! -

We can’t say enough great things about our wedding planning experience with Anna!
From start to finish she was incredible. From helping us find a venue, scheduling meetings with all of our vendors, to creating a design element that was perfectly in line with our vision, to running the show on the big day – she really did it all! Not to mention, guiding us through wedding planning during a global pandemic. She stayed up to date with all the rules and regulations that were frequently changing – and always stayed one step ahead in the planning process – while keeping a calm and positive attitude!
Despite having many other clients, we always felt like we were her only ones. She is extremely prompt in her replies (always responding in less than 24 hours) and paid close attention to every detail, and was always prepared at every meeting. Not only that, she often went out of her way to make us feel so special. Sending gifts and champagne while venue hunting, and adding surprise wax seals to our invitations – just to name a few. She is just so kind and thoughtful!
In addition, her strong familiarity with the wedding industry certainly allowed us to have access to the best vendors and software programs required to plan an event of this size. We could tell right away other vendors enjoy working with her and are well aware of how focused she is on being a professional who values customer service. We could not have imagined our day going as well as it did if we didn’t have Anna and her team helping us. In addition, many venues now require a planner, so we highly encourage starting your wedding planning with a call to her! You won’t regret it! -

I don’t even know where to begin. Anna was with us from September 2020 till our wedding in August. Not only did she make our dream wedding come true, we never dealt with any hiccups or stress. She was our biggest supporter, protector, creative director, director and cheerleader. She is the best wedding planner a couple could ask for. 9384949% recommend! -

Working with Wed in Maine through a pandemic cancellation and a rainy wedding was such a phenomenal experience, I have to break it down into three parts to do justice to Anna and Angela's work.
Part 1: I had to cancel and reschedule my original date due to COVID. Working with Anna through this process was probably the only thing that kept me sane! She was positive, encouraging, organized, and tactful. She behaved as though she coached brides through global pandemic cancellations every day. She took point on getting the vendors on board with the new plan without all of my deposits being lost. I'm sure she was absolutely swamped with clients having the same experience but she made me feel as though I had her entire focus and all of her time.
Part 2: When it was finally time to actually hold the wedding, Anna kept me on track with all the details that I would never have thought of, while firmly holding my vision and ideas for the wedding as the priority in all of our conversations. She was so easy to get in touch with and responsive to me and all of my vendors.
Part 3: And then we had a huge party, and it rained! Angela was my on-site coordinator and I cannot speak highly enough of her energy, enthusiasm, and gracious ability to jump in to help out wherever she was needed.
TL;DR: This business and this team absolutely knocked it out of the park at every single opportunity. I cannot imagine what my experience would have been like without them, and at the end of my wedding I wanted them to be my best friends. -

Highly recommend!
Honestly, there are not enough positive adjectives to describe our experience working with Anna Paschel! We planned a large wedding and reception in Maine, then had to pivot to a micro-wedding during COVID-19, then pivot again to accommodate re-opening restrictions for a
rescheduled reception. Anna is calm, balanced, and reassuring. She has so many vendor relationships, and she was able to draw on them to creatively manage changes and accommodations during the pandemic. The celebration was beautiful- Anna and her team addressed every beautiful detail; she is so organized and made sure that every minute of the day ran smoothly. -

Amazing experience!
We owe everything to Anna!! From the start, she went above and beyond for us, sending us ideas, talking to vendors, jumping on Zoom calls. I felt so taken care of and Anna's calm, professional manner kept us all at ease even as the pandemic loomed. Anna walked us through the chaos of postponing and re-planning a wedding as if this was something she dealt with everyday. When the day finally arrived, it could not have run more smoothly. I had absolutely nothing to do but sit back and enjoy my long awaited wedding - Anna handled everything behind the scenes and the day was everything we hoped for. I truly cannot say enough good things about her! We love Anna! -

My husband Peter and I can NOT express with words how grateful we are for the experience we had with Anna, and her full-service event planning company - Wed in Maine. In a matter of 6 weeks, amidst a global pandemic mind you, she brought to life our vision of an intimate beach wedding with grace, professionalism, creativity and reliability. Anna has a most peaceful and calming way about her, while she can also "crack the whip" when necessary! She managed to cover every detail in a thoughtful, unique and organized manner - facilitating a stress free and most pleasant process. She corresponded beautifully with all of our vendors on a regular basis to make sure our wedding would run smoothly and as we imagined. Now two weeks later, we can honestly say that we miss chatting with her on a regular basis. Anna is incredibly patient and thoughtful! We hired Anna after quickly realizing how organized, timely, and efficient she was at her craft. I'm a school teacher and am also very organized and timely so I was no 'easy' client to please ha! Anna was up for the challenge and through postponement, review/revision of vendor contracts, rescheduling, modification from original detailed plan, and everything in between Anna always greeted the obstacle/hurdle with options and solutions! Come day of Anna handled every single component and moving part for the wedding. I truly was only left to think about myself and getting married! ON TOP of that, the next morning all of our sentimental pieces (gift card box, polaroid guest book, small treasures and mentos for the day) were all left nicely packaged in my room so that I didn't have to search for them or try to locate where all those details ended up! Now I get to cherish those forever :) -

The woman behind Wed in Maine, is a fashionable force named Anna. She is the reason our perfect day was our kind of perfect. Planning a wedding is hard enough in a non-pandemic world. I thought a 2 year engagement would relieve some of that planning stress, & being on the other side of it now I would not change a damn thing. She came to my rescue just months before the wedding that I wasn't sure that we'd be able to have or that I could even pull off safely. Without Anna, I couldn't have. Communication was flawless, hilarious, & easy. If I wasn't already a follower of her I would that thought for sure I was her only bride-to-be. She juggles her own life & everyone else's events so gracefully. She is a professional that feels like a friend. We went through all the ups & downs together in one of our hardest years. She is direct and realistic but make no mistake she absolutely does make magic happen when what feels like the darkest of times. Anna - thank you for giving us such a beautiful & safe day to share with our loved ones. You truly made our day unforgettable. -

We started working with Anna a month before our wedding after our previous planner unexpectedly became unavailable. You never know what is good and bad luck because Anna completely blew us away. She proved to be the most conscientious, organized, thoughtful and kind planner, and I could not image our wedding weekend without her. She has a gentle manner, and I came to rely on her to make decisions because she gave advice in a way that never felt pushy, but was always insightful. When there were small things that needed sorted out across vendors, Anna never lost her cool and simply solved the problem. We can only describe her execution on our wedding weekend as flawless. I never once worried about logistics and every minor detail was remembered and done better than I could have hoped. My parents have five daughters and have been through several weddings and seen many planners. Multiple times during the weekend my Mom and Dad mentioned how Anna was amazing and that they were so impressed by her - that is saying something!
Anna is the entire package. Her sweet and caring personality make her someone you want to spend time with and her organizational skills make her someone you can trust. Anna never missed a beat on a single outstanding question, follow-up email etc. She made sure every turn of our event was planned and documented, something we truly appreciated. Most importantly, our wedding was filled with the people we love most and we got to experience that at its fullest because Anna was running the show and allowed us to be carefree - thank you for that gift! -

My experience with Anna was easy and peaceful. My husband and I were married at the press hotel in downtown Portland in October. We met with Anna to ask a million questions ranging from food options to location of the ceremony and of course trying to stay within a reasonable budget. She guided us through every thought with patience, kindness and really cared about our hopes for the day. The entire year of planning Anna was able to respond to me in a timely manner and was so professional but also SO approachable. I never felt like I was bugging her or nervous to ask too many questions. I felt like she was part of my wedding party like a good friend (but way more organized). The day of my wedding she helped keep me calm, I had a little hangover and she had tea sent up and made me feel so much more relaxed. From start to finish she was polished and on top of everything without being stuffy or bossy. My family and friends commented on how awesome she is. I obviously could go on and on because I wasn’t expecting to use a wedding planner but I really lucked out and I can’t imagine not having her there to orchestrate our big day. -
