Still in Awe of We Do Weddings!

My husband and I were engaged on Christmas Day 2018. He always said that he wanted a short engagement. We decided to set our wedding day for March 2019. We had three months to plan a wedding for almost 200 guests. I needed help and "We Do Weddings," Mrs. Cheri Walker and her amazing team came to the rescue and turned my wedding vision into a bride's paradise. She was attentive, professional, expedient and calming all at the same time. We Do Weddings decorated three rooms for us that day and each more beautiful than the next. My guests, my husband and I stood in awe at the venue once decorated. 4 months later, we are still reminiscing on how beautiful our day was and we owe it to Cheri Walker and the We Do Weddings Team. We would recommend We Do Weddings to anyone looking turn their special day into a moment in time to remember! Thank You Cheri! You Rock. Respectfully, The Latimers!

Cheri my husband and I can't thank you and your staff enough for make our wedding day so beautifully amazing. You are extremely professional, and we love and adore your decorations from the church, and the reception. Until now we still have this feeling like WOOOW!!!! Everything was just so beautiful! We are so blessed to have you as our wedding decorator. You made us smile all the time, and you made sure that our wedding will be beautiful and it was indeed. Cheri we thank you again, and again for being such a wonderful person. We will highly recommend to others, you are the best wedding decorator we have ever known. It was truly a blessing to have Cheri Walker as our decorator/designer. The Church’s decoration was so beautiful, and the reception hall inside the Hazel Room at the Waterford in Springfield was breath taking. My bride and I were over joyed with happiness. The color combination to match our color scheme was amazing. Ms. Cheri Walker you truly are a professional, and can design an ordinary room to look like something from a beautiful colorful work of art.

I met Cheri when visiting a venue with my clients who had already hired her. They already told me amazing things about her work! Cheri has been given a gift! She was able to sketch just standing in the ballroom what my client's reception layout and decor vision was going to look like! She was quick and responsive to their needs and always kept in contact with them regarding their design. Cheri is definitely, the decor and design professional you want to hire for your perfect wedding! As a planner, there is nothing better than to have no worries about the decor or set-up for your clients wedding day. I highly recommend Cheri of We Do Weddings! I highly recommend anyone who needs rentals for a wedding, quinceneta, birthday party, or any event to use this company. I used them for my wedding and the colors and everything was perfect. Everyone who assists you is really sweet and helpful. There is alot to choose from and worth every penny!

Words cannot express how HAPPY and grateful I am for Cheri. She made our wedding day a dream come true. She took my vision and turned it into a fairy tale !!!. Of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, We Do Weddings was probably the best value and the greatest help. Cheri knew exactly the aesthetic we were trying to achieve, and pulled off a seriously classy look even in our no-frills, no-coordinator, county-owned venue. She also worked hard to make sure the event went off flawlessly, from coordinating with the caterer and DJ to being there to take my flowers after my entrance. She answered each and every one of my questions quickly, was always available, and made the day an absolute breeze. We got tons of compliments on our decor. It wouldn't have been the same event without her!

I rented chair covers and sashes. They worked with me to get my "vision" of what I wanted and did an amazing job! I absolutely loved the chairs at my wedding!

Ms. Cheri Walker is one of the best wedding planners and event designers I know. Her talents and skills go above and beyond when it comes to designing and decorating an event. I was happy to have known her and rented the necessary items I needed for my recent Marriage Celebration and Reception at Martin's Crosswinds West. The black and white damask table runners and damask fabric for the sweetheart table really made our reception hall exceptionally beautiful, especially with the grand chandelier shining down on them. I also rented all of my ivory chair covers and fuchsia chair bands with silver rhinestone brooches. Even when my guest list increased during the last week, she was able to provide me with the additional chair covers. She is amazing and I would always choose her first before looking at other vendors. Her rental listing is extensive and if she doesn't have it, she knows who does. Every time we look at our beautiful photos I will always remember this exceptional vendor with the bubbling personality.

Cherie and her staff were very engaged from start to finish. She took the time to draw her designs, conduct walkthroughs, offer suggestions and made sure we were completely put at ease. The setting was beautiful! When I walked in I already knew it was going to be beautiful; because she was confident, my mind was put at ease. I basically gave her my color scheme and told her to go to work...I completely trusted her and she came through. I initially wanted to go with just whatever the venue offered for decoration but i'm so happy that I chose to use her services...it was gorgeous!

Cherie was great to work with. I had designed the exact look of what I wanted for my husband and I wedding and was searching for the right chair covers to compliment it. Cherie was great to show us the options she could provide and found a chair cover closer to the design we had in mind and exact band and buckle we were looking for. She also came to the venue the day before and covered all the chairs so beautifully and at the end of the wedding to pick up the chair covers and bands. We were very happy with the chair covers she provided and her service in covering the chairs and taking them down at the end of the wedding. We would highly recommend her!

We were SO happy with We Do Weddings, Etc! Cheri did a fabulous job at setting up our reception! They provided beautiful table runners and chair covers with sashes. They also decorated our sweetheart and cake tables -- BOTH WERE BEAUTIFUL! I was so pleased when I walked in the room for the first time to see it all come together. Several guests were telling my parents how elegant the room looked. I highly recommend We Do Weddings, Etc - they are extremely easy to work with and very attentive -- you can count them doing a wonderful job!

Cheri was absolutely wonderful! She made sure my wedding day took place without any snags whatsoever. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I knew from the first time I met Cheri that she was a professional at planning weddings, but I had no idea just how great she was!

The date of my wedding was fast approaching, and with less than one week remaining I realized I needed help in order for the day to go smoothly. Luckily, I had contacted Cheri earlier to use her service for finding a venue, and was extremely fortunate that she was available to return to my rescue to help coordinate and finalize ALL that remained to be done. She even added some extra touches to my wedding décor that completed the look.

The morning of the wedding Cheri and her assistant went above and beyond to ensure that when I arrived, the pergola was decorated. The original plan for who would decorate the outside portion of the venue fell through, but I did not know this until after I arrived. When I got there, all I saw was a beautiful scene for my wedding! She made sure of that in order for me to be calm and stress free.

Though her presence was behind the scenes, Cheri’s professionalism was noticed by all. From beginning to end, the way she quietly worked to make sure everything was timed correctly and that one event flowed into the next, it was obvious that someone was in charge. I only wish that I had used her services throughout my wedding planning to save me much time and stress, but after she stepped in all I have are happy memories. I will definitely recommend Cheri to anyone I know planning a wedding. I am very thankful to Cheri for making my wedding day a beautiful, stress-free, wonderful event to remember!

Ms. Cheri Walker did an AMAZING job with my flowers for my wedding this past weekend. My colors were pretty tough (Mint, Pewter and coral) yet she was able to incorporate them into all the floral arrangements. I know its tough to find coral during this time of year in flowers that I wanted specifically on the east coast.
She was patient, efficient and flexible and I would go back to her AGAIn if I needed something different. My wedding was that more special! THANK YOU!

My overall experience with 'We Do Weddings' was wonderful. During the planning process, I worked with Cheri Walker. She was professional, deomonstrated great customer services, and was responsive. She listened attentively to my vision and expectations of my wedding day and brought them life. Her eye for detail and creativity is beyond explanation. People are still talking about how beautiful my wedding and reception was. The services that I recieved from 'We Do Weddings' really helped relieve some of the stresses of planning. Cheri did our wedding in June after the derecho hit our area. Even with all of the power outages and craziness, she still managed to make our reception look absolutely amazing. She is a very kind and genuine person who is willing to help any way she can. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!

Cheri and the crew at We Do Weddings, etc. did a fantastic job of ensuring our reception was ready and beautiful. We hired Cheri to be our day-of coordinator and the reception was set-up and run flawlessly. We didn't have to make our relatives do any of the coordinating so they could also have a great time and she, and the rest of the crew, made sure that my wife and I did not have to worry about a thing. Although the day/night flew by they made sure to make our day memorable. After the event she gathered some of the important keepsakes that we wanted to keep and we picked it up from her office after our honeymoon. Cheri was a pleasure to work with and kept a lightened mood to ease our concerns.

I used We do Wedding Etc.for the photography portion of my wedding ,the photographer Ted and his assistant were absolutely GREAT.I received the DVD for my pictures very fast and the pictures were fabulous .Ted and his assistant were very creative with the poses and they captured moments to remember that I had forgotten about.I will without a doubt use them again.I booked them for 3 hours and it was worth every penny paid and then some.

I heard many good things about the wedding planning services that Tracy provided at We Do Weddings, so after speaking with my fiance we decided to have her help us with our wedding. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered her office because it was very welcoming and inviting and decorated beautifully. We chose the Gold Wedding Package because we were able to pick any of the services that we needed help with. Tracy helped us choose our venue at Foxchase Manor and helped us plan the happiest day of our lives. Words can't express how happy we were with We Do Weddings! They really truly are the reason for the joy that our guests saw on our wedding day. I was able to be a BRIDE!!!

We would like to thank Cheri and her team for being with us throughout our wedding planning. She was professional, took time to listen to our theme, understood our requests, even guided us (us not being creative enough) to plan for our wedding decorations. She gave us sound advise, ensuring we kept within our budget, and even helped us hire vendor for Chinas and glasses. She and her team painstaking took care of decorating the venue for 250 guests and making it look extraordinarily beautiful, including removing and clearing all decorations after party. Cheri was courteous, friendly, funny, thorough with her work, always available when we reached out to her and most importantly helpful and humble. We would highly recommend her service to anyone.

We were very pleased with the finish product this vendor provided. When I walked through the doors to walk down the aisle I was floored. The ceremony was beautiful as well as the reception. The decorator was professional and stayed in touch throughout the entire event. I gave her my ideas and she ran with it with respect to me. She also provided a wedding coordinator that was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Very satisfied, the decor was classyand the most important thing was that the flowers and all other accent went well with my colors. I am grateful, I got more for the money.

Terrible Experience

TERRIBLE EXPERINCE!!!
On April 2018I received an invoice from Sherrie from We do weddings in the form of a contract for my daughter’s wedding in December. Due to personal reasons, the wedding was canceled and then rescheduled to April 20th 2019. I had already paid Sherrie $1500 for day of services, which were not yet rendered. I went back and asked her if she could still provide services for our new date in April. She agreed. Later when I went back to follow up she told me that she double booked herself for the same date so she was no longer going to be able to provide us the services. I asked for a refund and she said, I could not get a refund but I could use that $1500 I already paid towards rentals. Since I still needed rentals, I agreed. She then provided me a new invoice/contract for my new date of April 20th, 2019. She sent me this on March 25, 2019. I sent her numerous e-mails to coordinate with her my rentals. She never responded back so I stopped by her store to speak to her in person and that was when she told me that she had changed her mind and was not going to do business with me any longer. She provided me with no reason for cancelling on me. She has negated our new contract by canceling on me with no reason. There were no services rendered and no equipment rented. Her new invoice is my proof of her agreeing to the new date for the rentals that she put on my invoice.
