I cannot say enough good things about the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. To say that our Valentine's Day wedding was perfect is an understatement! Brittany and Heather and the staff of the hotel were amazing. No detail was too small and they made everything EASY. There was no hassle or stress, they handled everything so professionally and gracefully! I could not recommend them enough! -

We loved every aspect of our winter wedding at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. Brittany went above and beyond in making the day perfect. The staff was so welcoming and all our guests were very complimentary of the hotel accommodations and food and beverage experiences. It's clear the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel staff are experts at hosting weddings - the day was seamless and felt very stress-free. We highly recommend this location for weddings! (Tip: If available, rent one of the Harbor House villas for the bride's/groom's family! It's a beautiful property just across the parking lot with lots of space to get ready and host family). -

Brittany, the wedding planner, was absolutely amazing. Her attention to detail and responsiveness made me feel so comfortable and confident with choosing this venue. She was amazing from start to finish and was always available to answer questions.
The food was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. My guests were extremely happy with their food and beverages!
The only complaint I have is about the late night staff, the hotel bar closed an hour earlier than planned/discussed and the staff kicked us out of the keuka room an hour hour earlier than planned/discussed. I’m sure if the wedding planner were present, she would have taken care of these mishaps, however it was late post-wedding so she had understandably gone home for the night. We made due and moved the party up to our suite which worked out fine.
Brittany is the best and I wouldn’t change my decision for the world. Every venue needs a Brittany! -

We had an excellent experience with the Harbor Hotel. Brittany made planning a breeze, even with changing our date twice. She was always responsive and professional, and the rest of the staff was, too.
The accomodations were spectacular, and guests really enjoyed their time at the hotel, and in the surrounding area.
The food was excellent, and all staff were a pleasure to work with; I received so many compliments from our guests about the food and staff.
Thanks for making our day so special, we really could not have asked for a better reception experience. -

Fantastic from start to finish. Beautiful venue and helpful staff created the perfect day for us. Brittany made the planning process so easy and even though we had to change our date we never had any issues. The weekend of the wedding Dustin made sure everything was perfect for us. Everything was set up and cleaned up for us so we were able to just enjoy our weekend with friends and family. I highly recommend the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel for weddings! -

The best day of our lives!
The staff was great, everybody had a smile on their face! The best man asked for a coffee, which hadn't been brewed yet, and 5 minutes later they brought him one! Our guests appreciated that they could get up and dance and the servers didn't take their dinner plate before they were done, like most places do. They brought our cards and gifts to our room and packed up all our decorations and had them ready to go by the end of the night. They made the day/night go smoothly and we appreciate each and every person that was involved! -

Our daughter had her wedding at the Harbor Hotel and we couldn't be happier with the entire affair. The wedding was postponed from the prior year and the hotel was very flexible through all of those difficulties. The venue is beautiful inside and out. We planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather didn't work out and moving inside was seamless. We were however able to have cocktails and pictures outside and the outdoor lakefront area is beautiful. The ceremony venue was tastefully appointed and acoustically perfect for the live prelude and postlude music. In other words the best of both worlds. The wait staff was efficient. The food was outstanding. More than one guest commented, "my steak ranked up there amongst the best that I have ever had." Most importantly the staff including Brittany and Dustin were totally cooperative and responsive both in the lead up and on the day of the event itself, following through with every detail. We would give the hotel our highest recommendation without reservation. -

Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was the absolute best. The cocktail hour and reception were absolutely wonderful. The chef was fantastic, the service was unbelievable and Brittany Blair (the head planner) made sure our day was above and beyond our expectations. Brittany's attention to detail, her customer service and her overall demeanor made our day the absolute best, and the planning process so easy!!! I wish we could relive the day over and over. If you are considering this venue, I highly recommend it, there is not one thing I could say that was negative. The chef was amazing, the food was amazing. I am still hearing from our guests on how it was the best wedding meal they ever had! Everything was on time, everything was organized, the room looked unbelievable. Thank you to the whole staff at Harbor Hotel for making our day so so so special!!! -

Gorgeous Setting
We got married at Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel last month. Our coordinator, Brittany, was fantastic. She was very responsive and sweet to work with! The venue itself is in a perfect location right on the lake. The sunsets there are incredible. The food was delicious; Chef Sean is very talented and accommodating! The hotel staff took care of all of the set up and tear down for the wedding which was a huge lift for us. The guest rooms are also very comfortable. We heard a lot of compliments from our guests about how nice everything was at the hotel and wedding. We also heard from multiple vendors that they've enjoyed working with Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel! -

From the moment we did the first venue tour & meeting we knew the Hotel would be our top choice! Everyone was extremely professional, great follow up and follow through & planning for the big day seemed almost effortless with their help. They were patient and went above and beyond to make sure our reception was set perfect and they catered to our needs the entire night! I can honestly say I did not feel stressed once the morning or day of my wedding. They exceeded our wildest expectations and made sure our big day was all we had dreamed!

Brodie Sent on 10/20/2017I had a very specific picture in my head for our wedding. When I pulled into the parking lot of the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel I was already sold. It was immediately grand and welcoming from the outside and only continued to deliver walking through the door. Working with Anne & Mary my planning experience was so much fun. They helped with all aspects and were so great about suggestions and getting my questions answered. They truly are professionals of their field. Being an out of town bride we certainly had some interesting obstacles to over come, they both managed to make suggestions to make the actual day go so easy. Our flowers were transported in our cars from Buffalo and sadly one of the lilies in my bouquet had wilted. Anne asked if I would be comfortable having her try to fix it with the extra flowers we had. She did an amazing job, the bouquet was beautiful. Our day went down without a hitch, and every dream I had become a reality. If you are looking for outstanding service, amazing food, dedicated & personable consultants, a beautiful venue inside and out and something unique and memorable from the beginning of planning to the big day; then this is the venue for your special day! I cannot thank these ladies enough for everything they did for us!

Amanda Sent on 03/27/2011AMAZING! We had a winter wedding, and the first winter ceremony at the hotel. It was incredible. They made my vision a reality. Denise and Carolyn are wonderful. The food was outstanding and they were very flexible with their options. All of our guests have had nothing but great things to say about our wedding and the hotel itself. We can't wait to go back and stay at the hotel again!!! Highly recommend having your wedding at the Harbor Hotel! -

Our short review: You would be crazy not to host your wedding at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel.
For our wedding weekend, we stayed at WGHH, we hosted our rehearsal dinner at WGHH, we had our ceremony at WGHH, we had our reception at WGHH, and we had our post-wedding breakfast at WGHH. Everything was absolutely MAGICAL! We could not have imagined a more special place to have experienced one of the best weekends of our lives. We were incredibly impressed all of the staff throughout the planning process and throughout the wedding weekend. Everyone was extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and respectful. The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding was amazing and the accommodations were top-notch. We were eternally grateful that WGHH allowed us to be creative with both the indoor and the outdoor locations. We may have thrown a bit too much confetti, but it was those moments and those emotions that we will remember forever. Our appreciation for WGHH really does go beyond words. -

Astrid Sent on 10/05/2011We had our ceremony and reception on site. We really wanted to have an outside wedding, but it was very nice to have a back up inside location. We ended up being able to have the ceremony outside, but it was a close call. Luckily I didn't have to worry about it. Both the outside and inside areas were very nicely decorated. I brought in some decorations, and explained what I wanted and they did the rest! It was great to not have to deal with any decorating or clean up myself, especially nice for me because it didn't really have anybody local to help. They were very helpful and professional. The only real down side was that the wedding planning who had been working with us from the beginning got a different job and wasn't there for our day. But everything still went pretty smoothly. They also had a lot of decorations and things like table numbers, which was very helpful. Although it would have been nice to have known about them earlier.
The food was very good. I'm a vegetarian so we mostly had stuff that was not on their regular catering menu. The chef came up with some things and I gave him a few recipes too.
