Outstanding!

I cannot say enough good things about Marcin and Magdalena! From the start, they make you feel comfortable and at ease especially on a day that you are filled with nerves. The amount of different ideas they have to get artistic photos is mind blowing. Whenever I thought we were done, they came up with another creative idea which was, of course, perfect. We never felt rushed or felt like we were asking for too many pictures. Their compassion for photography really shows. You do not have to worry about something not being captured with Marcin & Madga, they really focus on all the details! I cannot thank them enough for giving me such great wedding photos!

Yaneck and Sasha are an amazing duo!

Yaneck and Sasha are the best photographers EVER! I love their work so much, I can't even describe my excitements with words. They are very easy to work with, and they produce amazing photos of me and my wife. And I got to tell you, it's extremely hard to make me look good in a photo. I had my entire life to try it. But Yaneck and Sasha did their magic. They guided me and my wife on how to pose for a certain pictures, and they chose all the beautiful wedding/engagements shot area, and BAM! magic happens

Honestly, on top their top quality photography skills, their real value comes with the printing of the pictures. The pictures that came out were really amazing. We bought their professionally print out canvas pictures from Italy that we hang at our home right now. They would help us choose the series of pictures to be printed that would tell a story and it works! The pictures are so clean and crisp, and they look artpieces that can be put in any home.

Honestly, I'm not great with words, and all I can say is that they are amazing, and I couldn't have asked for better photographers. They are soooo worth the investments.

No photographer can take the place of WASIO

It has taken us over 2 years to finally make this review. Magdalena and Marcin are one of the most genuine, funniest, and most caring couple that we know. Aside from how wonderful they are as a couple, as photographers we do not have the words to express our deepest gratitude towards them. Our engagement pictures were beautiful. They were very understanding on how awkward it can be in front of a camera. They made us feel very comfortable and suggested looks and positions throughout our sessions.

Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning. They created our story through pictures. They were able to capture every moment at every angle. They both were great at capturing all of the guest naturally. There was no posing or SMILE FOR THE CAMERA!

Magdalena and Marcin are extremely easy to work with and are willing to do anything and go anywhere to capture moments that mean so much to us. We highly recommend these artists and would love to work with them again to capture all of our life’s milestones.

Wasio is fantastic!!

Yaneck and Sasha are absolutely amazing and we could not have asked for better wedding photographers! Our photos are stunning and beyond what we could have imagined. We got married in October and the outdoor pictures are breathtaking - Yaneck and Sasha really knew how to bring out the fall colors. They have great artistic ability and are able to curate beautiful poses, backdrops, looks, and emotion. We have two puppies who came for some photos and they got the best shots with them. They captured all our special moments and brought them to life beautifully. We also had engagement photos as part of our package and those were gorgeous as well.

Yaneck and Sasha took a lot of time to discuss our style, preferences, and visions for the photos. After the wedding they personally walked us through the final photos and made a YouTube video of our pics, which made us feel like we were reliving the day. Both are also really fun, lighthearted, and enjoyable to be around, which is great to have on your wedding day! We felt completely at ease and comfortable with them. We could not have been happier and highly recommend Wasio for weddings for any occasion!

Always will refer Wasio to my Client!

I've been referring Wasio Photography to my clients for years now. They always pay so much attention to detail with every photo that they take. The lighting that they use is incredible... You don't even need to get your photos retouched! Most recently I referred Wasio to my Chicago clients, who had their wedding at Patrick Haley Mansion. This venue is full of unique places for some amazing shots and Sasha and Yaneck found them all!! The photos all came out so breathtaking. I will continue to send my clients to Wasio.

Exceptional Photography from Remarkable People

“Working” with Sasha and Yaneck has by far been one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. I put “working” in quotes because spending time with them is always so much fun. They made us feel 100% comfortable from the start. We met them at a Bridal Show and while there are MANY photographers at those events, WASIO Photography’s work stood out to my husband and I from the start. Their images from Chicago are phenomenal with crisp, sharp colors and unique vantage points that may have otherwise gone unnoticed to the untrained, unartistic eye. We knew they would bring the same life to our wedding photos in San Diego and they did! Our photographs are some of the most beautiful images I’ve ever seen; each image is a work of art.
I admit that while I never once had doubt about their expertise and abilities, I did go through a bit of sticker shock when we were presented with the wedding package price quote. After talking with my husband, and communicating our budget concerns with Sasha and Yaneck, it became crystal clear that booking with them was the right thing to do. We absolutely got what we paid for and then some through countless hours of the time they spent photographing us for our engagement shoot, communicating with us throughout our wedding planning process, meeting us at our venue for a walk-through, doing an add-on surprise boudoir photo shoot at our venue with Sasha, photographing us all day on our wedding day, all of the editing they did, and of all that, the best thing that came from booking with them is a new life-long friendship we’ve created. I absolutely adore Sasha & Yaneck for the people they are.
I have been singing their praises ever since we booked with them and I am honored to write a review to share with those of you considering working with them. I am in awe of their talent, passion for photography, love for each other, and genuine care for their clients. To work with Sasha and Yaneck Wasio is a huge honor and blessing.

Amazing- thank you so much!!

Wasio was so easy to work with and on top of every email! My favorite part about them was how they actually cared about my client. They went above and beyond- got every shot and even stayed a little later so ensure they photographed everything.

Unfortunately, it rained on our clients wedding day but that didn't stop then from working their magic. Not only did they not mind getting wet- they got the most epic shots of my couple dancing in the rain!

Yaneck and Sasha are absolutely incredible to work with! They came all the way from San Diego to photograph our wedding in Chicago and we are so glad they did cause they did an INCREDIBLE job!! They are such a passionate couple who are just perfect at what they do and so easy to work with!! They go all the way out to make sure you are comfortable and everything is going the way you want! Our photos look FABULOUS! We cant wait to get our album with them! Also, my mother and sister were not able to attend my wedding due to visa issues as they live overseas which was a very heartbreaking thing for me. Yaneck and Sasha managed to photoshop them into one of our family photos which made me soooo happy! What can I say- if you are looking for the perfect photographers then you should pick them!

My fiance and I first met Sasha and Yaneck during a friends wedding whom they were taking pictures of. At first, we completely fell in love with the two of them for being so friendly and personable. When we learned that they were the photographers for the wedding, we told ourselves that the second we get engaged, we are definitely giving them a call. Sure enough, that year, we got engaged and quickly reached out to Sasha and Yaneck. I firmly believe that being comfortable and having chemistry with your photographers is extremely important when it comes to your pictures. Sasha and Yaneck listened to all of our requests and did exactly what we wanted when it came to the style of the photos. They also made it extremely FUN! They are truly an amazing couple, their work speaks for itself. It is absolutely perfect and they both make sure that the pictures turn out as best as they can! You will not only adore your pictures, but you will also love the process of working with Wasio! Ive attached some of my favorite pictures!

Completely amazed by my wedding photos!!.! I was lucky enough to have found WASIO photography by accident however it turned into a wonderful blessing. INCREDIBLY TALENTED - Where to begin... picking a wedding photographer is truly one of the most important decisions you make in the wedding process. You have to consider a lot of things, professionalism, good energy, has the artist within to capture those perfect shots and QUICKLY. There are so many moments that happen and happen fast so you need them captured in their authentic moment and Magda and Marcin truly did just that. They don't just quickly capture a moment in time but they do so while telling a story and making sure everyone looks their best. I don't know how they did it, we have received so many compliments from family and friends on how amazing their work truly is. I cannot begin to recommend them enough. If you are on the fence on selecting WASIO, don't be! You will not regret it. I am so happy I chose them and I now forever have wedding pictures that truly tell a beautiful story.

Side note, my now husband truly does not like pictures, he hates posing and being told to smile. The fact that WASIO could capture him and I looking amazing and in love and laughing is beyond me. They made it happen.

Finding the right wedding photographer is something that can be an extremely stressful process. However, that absolutely was not the case with WASIO. They absolutely made the process enjoyable with their friendly demeanor, flexibility, artistic creativity and level of professionalism throughout the event. Yaneck and Sasha not only captured every precious moment, they were able to enhance it with pictures that were truly amazing. I would be hard-pressed to find another photography team that I would feel as comfortable and safe capturing all the precious moments that occur during a wedding than our WASIO photography team. Talented, artistic, professional, responsive, FUN! These are just a few ways we would describe Marcin and Magdalena at Wasio. We absolutely loved working with these two and are so grateful that they were the photographers we chose to capture our wedding last September! M&M were extremely welcoming and friendly. We are not professional models by any means (all though sometimes M&M made us feel like it :)) so it was very important to us that we could trust and feel at ease around our photographers. These two, with their witty husband and wife banter and fun personalities, make for such a comfortable, happy environment on such an exciting day! It was really nice having an engagement session as part of our package. Not all photographers that we researched included this (nor did they include an album in their packages like Wasio does!). The two gave great direction on how to “pose,” but still look natural. And on the wedding day, we never felt like we were interrupted or missed out on moments for pictures. M&M captured amazing candid shots, which was something that was really important to us. They truly went above and beyond. In addition to our wedding package, they created beautiful blogs for both our engagement session as well as our wedding. So many friends and family would ask to see our wedding pictures and these were great ways to show them the highlights of the day. We also really appreciated how responsive and accommodating Marcin was - responding to emails promptly and helping with one off questions/requests we had. Now the most important reason why we’d recommend Wasio – our wedding pictures are absolutely stunning, sophisticated, artistic and gorgeous! It is like they came right out of a magazine! Between the candid shots capturing how we felt the moment of our first look, the beautiful images of us complimented by the architecture of the city and the expressions they caught on our dancing guests’ faces – M&M truly nailed it! We'd definitely recommend WASIO!

WASIO photographed our wedding back in August and the pictures turned out amazing!! We worked with Marcin and Magda. After my first consultation with Marcin and Magdalena I knew I had to have them as our photographers for all our photos,( Engagement, Boudoir and Wedding)! They knew exactly the vision I imagined and captured these once in a lifetime moments. I look at our photos and can't believe how beautiful they are. Everyone tells you how fast the day/event(s) goes by and to make sure and take a step back and enjoy the moment. Wonderful and professional people

My fiancé and I are leaving for China so we decided to take photos here in Chicago, where we met and fell in love. My fiancé himself is an amateur photographer and he is very picky about choosing the right studio. We browsed through almost all Chicago-based photographers' websites and were attracted by WASIO's classic art style. After our first conversation we found Yaneck is a humorous and passionate guy, and we believe it is a key to a pleasant experience. We decided to entrust them our engagement session and also a pre wedding session, and they both turned out great! We totally enjoyed working with Yaneck and Sasha, they are not only easygoing but also professional. If we'll ever come back to USA again, we hope they will shoot for our anniversary!

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, you can stop looking! Marcin and Magdalena of WASIO photography did an AMAZING job capturing our special day. Not only were the photos beautiful, but the entire experience from start to finish was a blast.

To start, Marcin and Magdalena invited us to their studio and really made us feel comfortable with the entire process. Their was no "sales pitch" but more of an informal chat about what we were looking for and how they could help.

On the day of, they allowed us to enjoy our day while capturing all the hidden moments that we now look back on and cherish. They exhibited the perfect blend of being professional in their work and having a laid back, comforting demeanor.

We were blown away when we received our final photos. They are absolutely amazing... Just like the photographers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our engagement photo session with Yaneck & Sasha and were extremely happy with the results! Yaneck & Sasha were professional and responsive throughout the booking/planning process. On the day of, they made us feel extremely comfortable and showed a dedication to making sure they got the best shots possible. They were fun, engaging and consistently went out of their way for us - including making time to continue our session the following day when logistical issues prevented us from shooting at one of our desired locations. Lastly, the photos turned out great - extremely high quality and we were so impressed with what they were able to capture. From the moment I saw Yaneck's work online, I knew I wanted him as our wedding photographer. Not only does he have an eye for what makes a photo beautiful and unique, but his signature edits making the colors in the photo come to life and they really take the photo to another level. Yaneck and Sasha made us more comfortable while doing our engagement shoot and wedding photos, since obviously we don't pose for a living. They had great suggestions that help made you look more relaxed in the photo. WASIO is top notch, from their photos to edits and even their prints. I am someone who loves pictures and wanted nothing but the best for my engagement and wedding photos. WASIO photography was the best, and I am extremely happy to have worked with them for my special day. What initially drew me in to choose them over other photographers was the talent and quality of their work. The signature edit on the photos was definitely worth it and made our pictures really look amazing and artistic.

They were able to reflect what was important to us and our families in our photos and capture our personalities because they actually took the time to get to know us; they were personable and really made us feel like they were our lifelong friends. At our engagement photos Yanek and Sasha took the time to pose us well and make our pictures so beautiful, elegant, and dramatic despite the unexpected downpour outside.

I also had the pleasure of working with Marcin and Magda on our wedding day, who were just as talented and friendly! Unfortunately, Yanek had broken his rib a few days before the wedding and wasn’t able to make it, but Sasha made sure that all of our requests were met and that another photographer, Vito, was also on site for the day. The team jumped right in and knew exactly how to pose me and what we wanted. Everything not only went according to plan, but my pictures turned out so beautiful that I am still admiring at them on a daily basis. They truly captured the happiness and love that I felt that day.

I would highly recommend working with WASIO photography because of the genius talent in photography and for their personability. Furthermore, they are very easy to reach and were always quick to respond whenever I contacted them with a question.

Marcin and Magda are wonderful to work with. Most of us are not professional models so it certainly helped getting pointers on what to do. Our photos came out beautifully. We could not have been happier with Marcin and Magda. Posing for pictures can be somewhat of an awkward experience, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and feeling confident about the pictures. During our engagement session, they stayed for extra time to make sure we got all the shots we wanted at different locations. They were very organized and had a great questionnaire to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted, while sticking to a tight timeline. The photographs we have received so far have looked amazing! We cannot wait to see the rest of the photos! We would highly recommend them!

When Andrew and I started planning our wedding, the most important thing for us was photography. We had originally booked with another photographer, but realized that we wanted someone that would better match our style and would pay very close attention to detail. After searching 50+ Chicago photographers, we came across Wasio and without hesitation we contacted them and booked that day. Where do I start? From the engagement shoot up to our wedding day, Magda and Marcin treated us like movie stars. More than that, they treated us like they would treat their own families: with lots of care, perfecting each shot to make sure that we only got the best. This is absolutely what every bride and groom deserves during this process. As a bride on her wedding day, they made me feel so beautiful and confident. Moreover, they were able to capture very beautiful moments of me and my husband; the secret moments between a couple that can only been seen by someone who is really paying attention. Good photographers will bring that out in you and will capture those moments, which is why it is so important to go with top of the line photography like Wasio. We just got our wedding pictures! What can I say …. WOW!

Prior to meeting Yaneck Wasiek and Sasha Wasiek my perception on taking professional pictures was not the best one. It was always a horribly boring waste of time, do what hundreds of people done before - basic copy and paste - just pick the picture you like and photoshop my faces there and lets be done :) .
What a departure from the ordinary! This was actually fun, spontaneous, creative and the guys were able to capture true emotions and excitement of the day.
I am thankful to WASIO Photography for being a huge part of our special day and capturing these special moments with such creativity and professionalism.

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful Sasha and Yaneck are! They were the photographers for our family portraits twice and we knew right away who we wanted our wedding photographers to be. Thanks to Marcin and Magda I have AMAZING pictures of my FOUR young children. Taking a great picture of four kids is not easy but these two were so wonderful to work with. Magda has a personality that is so warm and sweet. My girls immediatly loved her making this photo shoot easy on me. Not only did they capture great shots of my kids they also took pictures of our entire extended family that are fabulous.

My husband and I got married this New Years Eve and I could not have imagined having anyone else photograph our day. Yaneck and Sasha were personable and fun while also remaining professional and delivering beautiful photographs. They listened to what we wanted while also being creative and bringing their own ideas to the table. Our photographs are absolutely stunning-- they are an incredible team!

I would highly suggest doing an engagement session with Wasio prior to any wedding as well. It helped us get to know their style and their personalities, which made posing for pictures a lot easier on the big day. Plus it was fun :) Yaneck and Sasha made it easy for us to use those proofs for our save the date card as well as little details around the reception.

I cannot speak more highly of Wasio. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for spectacular, creative, and fun photos. Thanks again, guys!!

Marcin and Magda are fantastic! We have used Marcin and Magda for the past 4 years. Originally we received a family photo shoot with both of them as a gift. It is the gift that keeps on giving every year. They work great together as a team and both bring different attributes to the whole experience. They are engaging, happy and make the whole experience amazing. My kids now ask when they are going to get their “photo session” with them each year. My favorite part about the pictures is how natural they look. They truly have captured my children’s personalities in all of them. The hardest part of the whole session is narrowing it down to the best ones because they truly are all fantastic. It doesn’t matter if you are a bride, a grandparent or a small child they truly capture each individual in every picture. After meeting with many photographers, we just knew WASIO would be the right choice for our wedding day. They were so professional in everyway. Returned emails right away and always kept in touch with us and never made us nervous about anything. We even had to reschedule our first engagement shoot with them because of a family emergency an hour before and they were so understanding. Things got a little hectic in our lives so we did our shoot a week before our wedding and not only loved our photos, received so many compliments on them but most importantly we also loved working with Magda and Marcin. They made everything fun and easy for us. Our wedding day came, everything was on schedule and with 18 pairs plus us I was a little nervous about getting everyone in pictures,but they knew exactly how to handle a bridal party that size. Again everything went perfect and they were with us till early morning and made sure to capture everything. My husband and I couldn't of picked a better photographer for our special day. The wedding ends and at the end of the day, all you have left is the pictures! If your looking for great quality, professionalism, and amazing personality WASIO is it!!!!! This is the second time we have worked with Marcin and Magda and each time we are more impressed. They are professionals that have a vision that was realized to perfection. Our ideas were taken into account and with all honesty even improved upon. It was just such a pleasant experience. The mood was very relaxed and laid back. We didn’t feel like we were taking photos, but rather were enjoying the beautiful scenery while capturing the moment forever. And that is what you get to do with pictures, hold still those few fleeting precious moments. My husband does not like taking pictures and was not interested in spending his afternoon in this manner, but at the end of the session had a huge smile on his face. His smile got bigger as we received our initial photos. I know I’m a bit partial but I feel that I could see these pictures somewhere in a magazine, that’s how elegant they looked. Marcin, has a way to organize you to really work to your strengths, and Magda helps you to find the right poses and helps you to straighten up or pay attention to hand position, paying attention to all the details that make good photos become great. Marcin gave us a timeline for when we could expect our photos and sent us a few shots to get us excited for the complete set. We received our photos in a timely manner, actually a day early. So in summary, what could be better than capturing an important moment in a beautiful way, in a relaxed atmosphere with a few laughs? This was our experience both times we worked with WASIO photography. When our family gets bigger, hopefully they will be available to capture new memories. Thank You Marcin and Magda!

Working with Marcin & Magda at WASIO Photography on our wedding day was such a pleasure. They were prompt, calming to work with, professional and very fun. They had a vision for our wedding and made sure they did everything to get the pictures that we had planned, wanted and needed. They were open to suggestions for poses and worked well with our bridal party. They were able to adapt to the mannerisms of our group, making sure we got some serious pictures, but then really letting us get the funny and silly pictures we all had in mind! We used Yaneck and Sasha for our New Year's Eve wedding a little over a month ago, and the relationship we established with them over the year leading up to the wedding will last forever.

They are extremely personable and fun to hang out with. Yaneck is a master behind the camera and Sasha keeps things light and fresh. Together, they make a great duo. They also have great connections with other photographers and videographers throughout the city, so come wedding day you have a team of pros dedicated to every aspect of your wedding - from the bride and groom getting ready separately, to private photos of the family and coverage of dinner and dancing at the reception, nothing is missed.

From a photography standpoint, they can handle it all. They drove to New Buffalo, Michigan last May to do summer beach photos and handled the windy conditions and the setting sunlight with ease. On our wedding night, it was below freezing while taking photos outside on Mich Ave and down by Navy Pier, and their quick and efficient work got us through without losing any fingers, toes or tempers.

Honestly, the worst part is choosing which photos you like for your album at the end - there are too many good ones to count!

Elizabeth and I spent most of our lives as a missed connection. We grew up within minutes of each other, attended the same high school, and even lived across the street from one another in college and dined in the same dining hall without ever meeting. When a higher power decided he'd had enough of us playing dumb, he brought us together by literally leading me down the hall to the woman I never knew had always been the love of my life, in our first job as school teachers. The connection was immediate and permanent (and some may say, a long time coming.) Sharing a bond that people spend a lifetime searching for and a love that we never knew could exist, Elizabeth and I committed to each other in marriage in front of our family and friends on July 6th, 2014. As if life couldn't get any more serendipitous for us, we were connected with the magnificent Marcin and Magda to capture the day we would never want to forget. Elizabeth and I missed the appetizers and the dessert table, and the wedding limo (which we subbed out for a 15 passenger Chevy Express van.) Marcin and Magda didn't miss a thing. They captured every touching moment, every expression of love, anticipation, and pure joy, every detail that made our day the most momentous and special one of our lives. Their love for each other, for photography, and for capturing the love of others spoke out in each and every jaw-droppingly gorgeous and emotion-filled photo they captured. Those photos fill our home, our phones, our workplace, our minds, and our hearts. They remind us not only of every detail of that special day, but also of our love and our story. What my wife and I share is something words can't express, but something Marcin and Magda were able to capture in a way that we will never be able to thank them enough for. We would (as any couple should) be honored to have them be a part of any of life's big (or small) moments to capture memories and emotions that will endure for a lifetime.

We chose WASIO after experiencing them first hand at a prior wedding. Having done photography, weddings included, for a number of years myself I had high expectations for the person I was going to trust to capture our wedding day. I knew I didn’t want to deal with a giant photography company that contracted out all their photographers to take cookie cutter photos that might look just fine but would be indistinguishable from any other wedding shoot.

Yaneck and Sasha are fun but professional, prepared and produce beautiful shots. Prior to the wedding we met with them and took a walk around the event location then chatted more about the feel we were looking for. They took all that in and delivered a personalized experience for us. All the little things that made our wedding unique were captured for us to remember.

Their checklist of items and timeline asked for more details than I think the onsite wedding planner had asked. This wasn't a bad thing; it actually made us realize a couple times that we didn't account for enough time in certain places. They also provided us with some realistic times things take to do.

I would say WASIO met and exceeded all of our expectations without question.

WASIO comes highly recommended. Our wedding was November 30, 2013 and we found WASIO through the preferred vendor list at the restaurant we rented out for our wedding. From our first meeting with Yaneck and Sasha we felt that they would be able to capture all of the special moments of our wedding and they did! They took photos of the scenery, members of our families, and all the important things that we would have never thought of. Also, the requested that we complete a timeline of our wedding to allow them the information as to what we were planning, who was involved and the time. We used WASIO Photography for our wedding in October of 2013. My husband decided that we absolutely had to use them when he read in their profile that Yaneck's first camera was manual - he felt that it was important that someone was trained to see the good picture and not just snap a bunch of shots with the digital camera and hope for the best. They have quite a talent for spoting beautiful shots and the best poses and making you feel comfortable about taking pictures - when maybe you really aren't. They are friendly and outgoing and you truly feel like friends, which makes the picture taking process that much easier. While the price is a bit high - it is well worth the money, these pictures will last a lifetime and you will not be sorry that you chose WASIO. Opt for the engagement session if you aren't comfortable around a camera, it is great practice and will ensure that you have awesome wedding pictures. Plus it let's the photographers get to know you. And if you are having a big wedding and need a second photographer, ask for Claudio - he is also amazing! We could honestly not say enough positive things about our wedding pictures. And everyone gushes over how gorgeous the pictures are - even 2 months later!

Yaneck and Sasha with WASIO Photography are fantastic! I met with a couple of photographers and made the easy decision to go with WASIO. Yaneck and Sasha are so friendly and fun - they make everything comfortable. My mom is still laughing about when Sasha told her to "work it" during our family photos on wedding day. :)

The entire process went incredibly seamlessly with WASIO. We chose to have engagement photos done before the wedding which I totally recommend. It was a great opportunity for us to get comfortable in front of the camera and really learn which angles worked best for us photo-wise.

Yaneck and Sasha really go above and beyond to make sure that everything will be perfect. They met me on a random weeknight just to look at potential "first look" locations. I thought it was super friendly of them considering they got nothing in return for this.

And oh my gosh the pictures are amazing! All of the photos look fantastic - our families can't get enough of them. They really captured everything and more that we wanted them to during our wedding. I would and will recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for amazing wedding photos.

WASIO Photography was THE BEST choice for a photographer in the entire wedding industry. Yaneck & Sasha are both wonderful people to work with. They were very personable and welcoming from the very beginning. We met with them at their house, for a brief meeting on their services almost a year before our wedding. It turned into almost a four hour session with two old friends who we knew we couldn't be without. We booked them without hesitation.

Our engagement session was incredible.. At the Art Institute on a day in October that was 40 degrees and very windy, but Yaneck was still able to make us look amazing. The location was perfect, the colors of the leaves on the trees were perfect and Yaneck knew just how to make us work the camera and make the camera love us!

The day of the wedding, they had welcomed a guest photographer, who was a huge fan of Yaneck's, to take pictures of my husband and all the groomsmen and both Yaneck and Sasha concentrated on the maids and me for my bridal preparation. He brought my dress outside of my house and hung it on the gutter to get the best angle. Yaneck is SO talented and creative. Our ceremony was at a Greek Orthodox Church, which is completely different than any other ceremony and they did AN INCREDIBLE job. Our pictures are beautiful and phenomenal. The colors are so vivid and every angle they photographed was flawless. Our location photos are perfect and we couldn't ask for more stunning pictures at our reception

Everyone is raving about our pictures, including the designer of my wedding dress who saw it posted on the WASIO Facebook page! We looked stunning on our wedding day, thanks to the magic of Yaneck and Sasha behind the camera. We love Yaneck and Sasha so much and are thankful to have them as friends. The team at WASIO photography went above and beyond anything we hoped a wedding photographer would bring to our event. Yaneck and Sasha took the time to get to know us in the months leading up to event, and they felt like old friends by the day of the ceremony and reception. WASIO photography drove from Chicago to Louisville, KY to shoot our engagement session, a sign of their dedication to their profession. WASIO photographed my wedding this June in Chicago - they are amazing and could not have done a better job. A lot of my friends have already gotten married - so I took recommendations from them for all of my vendors - except my photographers. I read about WASIO on the knot and after meeting them in person, I knew they were exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Their pictures were absolutely beautiful and I loved the way that they were able to capture special moments from a couples wedding day. They were extremely flexible and even trekked downtown to our rehearsal dinner for an hour to get some group shots. The one thing that I did not appreciate when I hired WASIO is how important it is to be able to feel comfortable with your photographers and to be able to have fun with them. When you think about it, they spend more time with you on your wedding day than anyone else and are there for all your special moments!! Yaneck and Sasha are so easy to get along with and I have to say - the least stressful of all my wedding vendors. Sasha even entertained the flower girl while I was taking my pictures!! I cannot say enough good things about these guys - the pictures turned out amazing and I know I will be looking at them forever.

Wasio Photography was absolutely incredible!!! From our initial yet very personable consultation to their incredible charismatic personalities. My husband and I can not even begin to cover all the wonderful aspects of their work. Yaneck and Sasha were wonderful in their correspondence and we always received responses within a few hours. As a bride planning her wedding that was very helpful. They are both the most caring people who take the time to get to know you and truly care about you. The entire planning process went incredibly smooth. By the time our wedding came and they showed up to take pictures we felt like they were our old friends who we were ecstatic to see. All of our family and friends instantly adored them as well. This made the pictures turn out so natural. As Yaneck was taking pictures he would show us a few and my husband and I were literally taken back by the beauty and talent each one possessed. We have our meeting set up to meet with Yaneck and Sasha to view all of the pictures and we know they will be beautiful and more than we could have ever imagined. They are truly the best!

We were very happy with our engagement and wedding photos...plus we have received tons of complements on our photos. Jan and Sasha are a pleasure to work with and really attend every detail from start to finish. We were also very happy with the turn around time to view our photos. They were ready when we returned from our honeymoon. We highly recommend Wasio Photography!

My wife and I looked at several photographers and Yaneck stood out among all of them. We looked at his work and loved it. We read his reviews and saw that everyone loved him. He is very personable and fun to work with. Yaneck and Sasha make a great team. They are fun, yet professional. One of the best decisions my fiancé and I made was choosing Wasio Photography for our wedding day! Yaneck and Sasha took amazing photos and really helped make our day feel special right from the start! All four of us had so much fun during the engagement shoot and gave us a chance to get to know one another so on the wedding day we seemed like old friends. Both of them showed up at least an hour early on the wedding and blended in perfectly, taking photos while us girls were getting glamoured up. Yaneck occasionally suggests very subtly to people ways to stand and move but at the same time allows them to act natural, and all the while Sasha is cracking her jokes and making everyone feel right at home. The resulting photos look non-staged with naturally smiling people! This really is a hard combination to get! Our final pictures are everything I hoped for and more, and I look forward to pulling out my wedding album in future years and looking with great pride at our perfectly captured moments. We had so much fun with Yaneck and Sasha through the entire process, and would highly recommend Wasio Photography for all wedding couples!

I've known Yaneck for over a decade. I share his love for photography (but not his skills) so I have been following and supporting his photographic endeavors over the years. I had once, somewhat jokingly, told him that if I ever got married, I wanted him to take our photos.

I recommended him for my step-sister’s wedding and we were all very impressed with his work. A couple of years later after I got engaged, there was no doubt in my mind that I would ask Yaneck to photograph our wedding – not just for the beautiful photographs he takes, but also because of the passion he has for what he does, his technical skills, and the way he interacts with each of his clients with the utmost professionalism and genuine care about their big day.

To be honest, we (I) changed our wedding day from July 14, 2012 to July 7, 2012 solely because Yaneck was unavailable that weekend. And we also chose Yosemite Park, described to me as one of the most beautiful places in the world, because I wanted to use Yaneck’s skills to the max.

The photos came out beautiful and the photo shoot was creative and unique. We've had so many glowing compliments on our photos and I am thrilled that we had Yaneck photograph our big day. We kept the wedding small, but I wanted fabulous pictures to cherish for the rest of our lives.
I would recommend Wasio Photography, hands down, not just because Yaneck is a great friend, but also because both my husband and I are 110% thrilled with the output and the experience.

We hired Yaneck of Wasio Photography for our June 2nd wedding because it was not only talent to take beautiful pictures that we were looking for in a photographer but also professionalism, personality and compassion. Yaneck has all of these qualities and more. We were impressed from the moment we met him by his artistry and his friendly demeanor. Your wedding is a wonderful yet stressful day and your photographer is going to be with you every step of the way. We hired Wasio Photography for our wedding on June 2nd, 2012. My wife and I interviewed several wedding photographers, as we felt pictures were one of the most important parts of our big day. We met with Yaneck the lead photographer at his home in Chicago and from the moment we met him, we were extremely comfortable with him. Yaneck started by building a relationship with Stephanie and I rather than treating us as potential new business.
We all know that its great if the photographer is a “nice” guy, but what is really important is the quality of the pictures! After having our photos taken at Salvage One in the West Loop, we knew we made the right decision for our big day. My wife Stephanie chose this great location due to it wonderful antiques and art. Stephanie has a great eye for art and one of her best talents is capturing great photography settings. Stephanie knew with the right photographer this would make for a great location. The photography made Stephanie and I look like movie stars and Yaneck’s talent with the background and setting was incredible. Yaneck’s professionalism and treating us as friends made the experience all the more enjoyable. After the session we all went for a glass of wine and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.
As a result of Yaneck’s incredible work during our engagement session, both Stephanie and I were extremely excited about our wedding day and our pictures. Stephanie and I chose the Cuneo Gardens for our wedding location, mainly because of their beautiful grounds. Stephanie once again knew with the right photographer this would make for beautiful pictures. I must say Yaneck and his team did not disappoint, as our pictures are absolutely amazing. The pictures capture the beautiful grounds, but more importantly to me capture how beautiful my wife Stephanie looked on our special day. Yaneck and his team were also able to get some of the most candid moments of the wedding and our guests. Anytime, we want to relive that wonderful day, all we have to do is review our photos. . Once again, Yaneck’s professionalism and treating us as friends made the experience all the more enjoyable.
When you combine Yaneck’s personal attributes and his talent for photography, you have the perfect combination for a wedding photographer. I HIGHLY recommend Yaneck and Wasio photography.

We had the best photographer ever for our wedding! Yaneck was amazing to work with. Throughout the whole process, he was always willing to go the extra mile. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, we had so much fun shooting with him and had total confidence that our photos would be great. Yaneck loves what he does and it shows in his work. He's professional, but still fun and has an eye for what will make a beautiful photo. He was the best vendor at our wedding and has become a friend. We love all of our wedding pictures and have no idea how we will narrow them down.

When researching wedding photographers, Wasio Photography was the one site I kept returning to. For our intimate wedding, we chose Yaneck to be our photographer with little notice (or time to meet prior to), yet ended up with beautiful pieces of art, that we will treasure for life! He captured us as a couple well, with a mix of photo styles/locales, just as we requested. Working with Yaneck was a pleasure, as he is professional, yet has a charm that puts brides and grooms at ease. Despite an especially windy day, Yaneck never lost his enthusiasm, and put his creative vision to the test, using the elements and his equipment to his (and our) advantage. I thought I would never find the "perfect" photographer - that is until I came across WASIO Photography. Yaneck is very professional, personable, full of great ideas, and most of all a very talented photographer. He did an amazing job on both our engagement session and wedding day pictures and made my husband and myself look like and feel like celebrities. I smile each and every time I look at the beautiful pictures that he took. Yaneck pays special attention to detail and has a great eye for editing. While not having interacted with photographers on too many occasions until getting married, I would highly recommend Wasio Photography to family and friends alike. They got to know us as individuals in order to show our personalities and our story through their talent. They were able to capture our special day without being noticed by us or our guests. My fiancé and I were looking for a unique and talented photographer for our wedding day and we are very happy we picked Wasio Photography. Yaneck and Sasha were both very professional but also personable which made it easy to feel relaxed and at ease during the engagement shoot and on the wedding day. Yaneck has an eye for unique and interesting angles while shooting which gives the photos a natural elegance while at the same time seeming less framed and more spontaneous. Sasha is amazing at helping everyone feel excited and at ease (she is a master at off the cuff jokes), and her jovial personality causes people to smile while laughing instead of the normal fake smile. This truly is one of the best qualities in all the photos as the entire wedding party looks genuinely happy. Yaneck and Sasha made us feel like we were friends rather than clients and their passion for wedding photography is obvious. We recommend Wasio photography to everyone!
