Vitalidad Movement Arts Center was a wonderful venue to work with for our fundraiser. We had so much flexibility with them! They even let us in to the venue a day early so that we could set up and have no stress the day before. The bar team handled our guest count with ease and we had virtually no lines the entire evening. It was the best fundraising effort we've had thus far! Having the in house projector and audio system was a double bonus as we did not have to rent any gear to have an awesome auctioneer experience! An amazing venue and team to work with overall!

Vitalidad is a beautiful venue to host your wedding! Deblin was very helpful from start to finish. All communication was prompt. When we booked, tables and chairs were included in the overall price. Since it's a dance studio, the dance floor was great! The best in Portland. If you have a large guest list (we had 168 guests with 20 tables), you'll have to move tables and chairs to create the dance floor. Train tracks are right next to the venue so keep that in mind as it may interrupt your ceremony (it did for our's but our officiant was a pro and handled it well). You can use outside vendors and there's no noise ordinance so we had music going past 11 pm.

We held our inaugural fundraiser at Vitalidad, and everything was amazing! Deblin and Kevin were helpful and accommodating right from the start. They worked with us to ensure that everything went smoothly, from the delivery of items to unexpected mishaps during the event. I would highly recommend booking Vitalidad for your next event, and we are looking forward to working with them again!

Deblin was amazing!!!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous and very elegant just by itself. I am currently recommending it to all my friends and family. It is a great place to host an event in. We were 100% satisfied with everything. It couldn’t have been any better.

The minute I got engaged and we began to plan for a big wedding, I immediately knew I wanted to have it at VMAC. The venue was everything that we wanted it and more so when the opportunity came up for us to tour the venue as prospective clients we were beyond thrilled. The fact that my now husband thought the venue was just as amazing as I did was what sealed the deal for us. The fact that we planned our wedding in four months was another big thing for us so we were grateful to all of the VMAC staff for giving us that extra TLC we needed to make sure everything ran smoothly. When the big day finally rolled around not only were we blown away by how amazing everything looked but how smoothly things ran and how all our guest raved about the wonderful venue we had selected for our wedding. We will always be grateful to the VMAC family for allowing us to host our big day in their venue.

We had our wedding here in May 2019 and booked the space when it was brand new as a wedding venue. There are a lot of venues in Portland and a lot of “big box” places, but this particular space offers an alternative that’s both perfect for guest flow and intimate yet fits up to 200 comfortably. After the first tour with Deblin and Kevin, we knew the owner pair would be fantastic to work with. Their passion for the space and their event planning experience left us feeling confident that the wedding would go off without a hitch. And they didn’t disappoint! We booked an additional hour and the extra price was reasonable. Their attention to detail was spot on, and their hard work during prep and day-of was much appreciated. The available lighting options provided just the right vibe we were looking for, and the 200 provided chairs worked great with our (and any!) decor. We’d recommend Vitalidad to any couple!

Our guests had an incredible time at Vitalidad Movement Arts Center! The ballroom was illuminated beautifully, and a perfect fit for our live band, silent auction, wine wall and mini food truck. The bar was elegant, too, and there was never a long queue for service. VMAC owners were supportive every step of the way - from booking to coordinating to getting things done on the big day. Our team and supporters are looking forward to our next event at VMAC!

I toured this venue on a Saturday and walked in knowing it was what I wanted. I waited for Vitalidad to send me a proposal the Monday after I toured and got no response. I sent two follow up emails in attempt to establish communication about the proposal I’d been waiting for so we can move forward with booking. 10 days after I toured I finally got a response and was told someone toured the day after me (Sunday) and took my date. No proposal, no apology, no ownership for lack of communication and I was completely broken hearted. I had already told friends and family about the space and now I have to keep looking for a venue all together.
