Beachside Wedding

Me and my husband enjoyed the whole process that Tammy, our Wedding Coordinator, gave us. She was very tentative and detailed with her planning. I love how she made the whole experience personal and she fit right in with my family. We love her and our family loved the whole Villas by the Sea Resort experience!

A dreamy beach wedding

Villas by the sea was the perfect place for us to get married!! The ocean and driftwood was the perfect back drop for our ceremony. Tammy was extremely helpful, and she did everything to make sure that our day went seamlessly. I absolutely recommend this venue if you are looking for a beachy wedding!

Beautiful Dreams Brought to Life

Tammy is an awesome planner! She made everything so easy and made sure that we felt just as special for our private elopement as if we were having a full blown wedding. She provided us with a list of vendors to look into which cut out a lot of headache. The attention to detail is what makes everything so perfect. Our room view was spectacular and we were steps away from the beach.

Amazing wedding!

The villas by the sea was the best wedding venue ever! What made it the best was the wedding coordinator which is Tammy Young! She is the best, we didn’t have to do anything but show up and that’s the best and most relaxing thing ever!

Best wedding venue and coordinator

Our daughter was married in Driftwood Beach at Jekyll Island. The Villas handled all the arrangements and set on the beach and in the reception room. Tammy was absolutely the best to work with. She was professional, understanding, and so helpful. She took all the stress off of us in the planning and preparing for the wedding. Everything was perfect. The reception was set up beautifully. The price was very affordable.If you are looking to get married at Jekyll Island, you must use Villas by the Sea and Tammy. You will be so glad you did!

Great experience for our destination wedding!

Villas was the perfect location for our wedding; our guests loved staying on-site and appreciated the amenities (especially our guests with kids!). Villas helped us get the perfect spot on the beach for our ceremony, and the conference center was a wonderful reception venue. Tammy, Villas coordinator, was easy to work with, accommodating, and worked hard to help our day go smoothly. Would 100% recommend this venue to others!

I am SO pleased with this beautiful venue and Tammy for all her hard work and help. She is super sweet and really cared about making sure I was happy with how everything went. Adams-Holder Wedding

Villas by the Sea was incredible and easy to work with! They helped make my day extremely special. Hurricane Dorian was on its way to destroy the east coast and Tammy, the coordinator, kept in constant contact with me. They were diligent in giving updates and making sure my reservations were secured. When the storm finally cleared, everyone was all hands on deck to save the day! We brought in a lot of our own decorations and decor. Tammy was so helpful in assisting with setup. The ceremony went flawlessly with all cues and music on point. It was really a wonderful experience. Our suite at the end of the night had a bottle of champagne and roses. It made the occasion even that much more special. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful day with amazing, supportive staff. Thank you again so much for helping us celebrate our wedding day!

Our experience was amazing! I was nervous since we were planning the wedding from KY, but Tammy was so helpful and accommodating in every step of the way. All of our guests stayed at Villas and had a wonderful time. Everyone was impressed with beauty of Driftwood Beach as the ceremony location. Just Right

Everything fell together nicely on my big day. Even with the power going out & coming back on a few times, my day still was not ruined. Tammy was very responsive and ahead every step of the way. I recommend this place especially getting married on the beach like I did.

Very prompt with everything... We felt very welcomed to the villas. After the wedding we came to our villa to find a cake, champagne with glasses. They had candles lit and rose petals throughout the villa. It was an awesome experience. We truly enjoyed everything. Very nice professional people.

Planning a wedding can be stressful for everyone involved. But Tammy and Villas by the Sea made it a great and relaxing experience. Everyone made my guests feel at home when it came time for the wedding. The accommodations that they provided was a great fit for our wedding. Not to mention the view on the pavilion where we decided to have the ceremony was breathtaking. We would highly recommend Villas by the Sea and Tammy for a relaxing beautiful wedding!

Tammy is the wedding and events coordinator at Villas by the Sea, and she is fantastic! She helped us figure out the perfect way to accommodate our family (and dogs!) on our January vow renewal/vacation. We had a comfortable, beautiful, spacious villa with an excellent beach view, and she ensured that every detail of our renewal was seamless. We had a weekend that we will never forget, and can't wait to visit again and again.

Villas by the Sea was a dream to work with! They were very flexible with our schedule and Tammy was able to answer any questions I had at any time! We were treated very well. When our venue had to be changed a couple of weeks before the wedding, Tammy let us know immediately AND took time to take and send us pictures of an alternate location which we ended up using. Our main memory of the entire weekend was that it was Perfect! Tammy took care of a lot of details so we could focus on us. We would definitely recommend the Elopement Package to anyone.

Tammy was so amazing to work with, I started planning my wedding almost 2 years in advance and found this venue and booked it pretty early on. I exchanged many emails with Tammy and she was always very responsive, friendly and professional and helped to ease any concerns I had. I was mostly planning the wedding from Oregon before I moved out to South Carolina and that really made things difficult for me but I truly felt like I was in good hands with Tammy. When the wedding day arrived, Tammy was on top of everything. I had no worries of anything going wrong and I can only credit her for this. She worked really hard to help get things setup and even stayed late to clean up after the reception. She was AMAZING! Thank you Tammy for everything and thank you for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

Tammy Young was very helpful, enthusiastic, and friendly while helping us plan and complete our wedding on Driftwood Beach and reception on the pavillion at Villas by the Sea. We had a wonderful weekend at Villas by the Sea and the staff there were exceptionally helpful. We used kegs and they allowed us to keep them refrigerated until we needed them! The staff also allowed us to put our supplies in the ballroom the night before the wedding which helped relieve some stress the day of the wedding. The front desk staff were helpful in moving rooms around so the wedding party could be closer together! Overall, we were most impressed with the location, value, and kindness provided by the Villa's staff.
We used the boardwalk for a beach party the night before the wedding and for the cocktail hour and the ballroom for the reception.

Tammy was spectacular at helping me plan this event. We had our ceremony on the driftwood beach, and a luncheon at the gazebo afterward. She answered any questions I had and was able to direct me to some local vendors for catering and photography. The Villas are quite nice, and I can't wait to go back just to relax there.

My husband and I live in Kansas City, MO, and chose Villas By the Sea for our elopement wedding. We love Jekkyl Island and the area as we had visited because my husband has to travel to nearby Brunswick often for business. We just cannot say enough good things about Tammy Young, Event Coordintor, at Villas By the Sea! She worked with us to put together the perfect team...officiant, photographer and Tammy herself, to make our elopement the joyful, stress-free, celebration of our love that we will cherish forever.
Tammy even offered to make my bouquet and his boutonnière using whatever flowers were in season. She said it would be simple and I left it in her capable hands. It was extremely reasonable. When she arrived at our villa with the flowers I was completely blown away! They were absolutely gorgeous! I have gotten so many compliments and been asked about my florist when people see the wedding photos. I dried them and kept them. Tammy added awesome touches like slipping back to decorate your villa with rose petals and tea lights and leaving champagne and your little cake. We felt so special.

Tammy Young at Villas by the Sea is fabulous! I'm so glad that I chose her to help with our special day. Tammy worked with my to individualize my needs/price, so don't be off-put by the packages that are put together and advertised by the Resort. I found Tammy to be very flexible in crafting the services I needed at a reasonable price. She and her team set up everything for our ceremony - I simply gave her the decor I wanted to use the night before with instructions on how I'd like it set up, and she made it happen! Tammy is very responsive and attentive to detail; I must have emailed her a thousand times, but she always responded professionally and in a friendly manner. I cannot say enough good things! You won't be disappointed! :)

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Villas By the Sea!!!!! Everything was beautifully decorated and the customer service was impeccable!!!! Our rooms were beautiful and the way were greeted and taken care of was amazing!!! Tammy Young is the GREATEST, she was patient, caring and extremely helpful to my entire wedding party!!!! Tammy made sure every detail was handled and addressed any concerns I had with a smile. She coordinated everything for us all we did was show up and got married!!! I couldn't have done it without her!!!! From the officiant to a special seat for my uncle's flower she make sure no one and nothing was left out and we truly appreciate her expertise!!!! I am so happy we chose to have our wedding at this BEAUTIFUL location!!!!! We will be back to visit again

Everything was perfect. Tammy Young was wonderful to work with and I couldn't have asked for more. She had everything organized for us and even got the always late bride to the wedding on time. The Villas by the Sea and Driftwood Beach were the most beautiful places to have a wedding and spend a honeymoon. We enjoyed it so much that we plan on going back for our anniversary.

Everything on our special day was perfect! Tammy Young from Villas by the Sea Resort was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and did a fabulous job organizing the details for our wedding package. We are from a different state and weren't able to meet her or see the resort until a couple of days before the wedding. Everything was taken care of and we had no issues or concerns. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

Everything was so perfect for our wedding ceremony and reception! Even the rehearsal went wonderfully! Tammy was so helpful, professional, and friendly, and knew exactly where everyone needed to be on the beach and worked with our caterer/organizer to make sure everything was set up exactly where it needed to be for the reception. Everything went even more beautifully and smoothly than I could have imagined, and all of those wonderful details would not have been possible without such dedication and hard work from Villas. I could not have survived my elopement without Tammy Young's help! . She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and provided me with all of the necessary vendors and supplies that I requested and needed for the big day. I didn't have to worry about a thing! She picked up our flowers, scheduled the photographer and stylist, and even came to my room to help me into my gown.

Villas by the Sea is an excellent venue for a couple who want a romantic and private ceremony. Driftwood Beach is absolutely beautiful!

We chose Villas by the Sea for our elopement. We wanted a private wedding in a setting that is special for us, and Villas by the Sea was able to help us find what we want at a very affordable price. Their service was excellent, and a few small touches like cake and champagne waiting in our condo when we returned from our wedding ceremony made for the perfect experience.

The setting at Villas by the Sea is perfect whether you're planning on a private elopement like we did or you want to have a larger gathering of family and friends. The grounds are beautiful, the service is excellent, and the on-site restaurant is good, too.

The Villas By The Sea and Tammy Young are amazing. The villas and driftwood beach are the perfect place for a beach wedding. My husband and I wanted a small intimate ceremony for just us and our immediate family and that is what we got. Tammy made the process very simple and easy from first contact to the check out date. It was everything I could have ever wanted. She can do from small elopement a to bigger weddings and I would recommend her and the villas to anyone. I have already started to!

My aunts and uncles as well as a few friends repeatedly told us how beautiful our ceremony location was and how it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to!!

I would recommend anyone interested in having an event here to do it! Ours will definitely be a precious moment we will have forever!

Villas by the Sea is an excellent place for your wedding! The Villas are beautiful, ranging from efficiencies to 3 bedroom units at affordable prices. They are spotlessly clean and the staff is wonderful! Tammy Young, the event co-coordinator is extremely nice, and very efficient and so is her staff! Our wedding for around 100 people went off seamlessly and was just beautiful. Driftwood Beach provides a natural beauty of uniqueness like no other beach you have ever been to, and is picture perfect for tons of photo opps. The Villas supplies a full list of vendors from music to food to hair and nails and everything else between. We used several and they were all perfect. I would use this Venue again in a minute.

Tammy and her crew were able to make my wedding so relaxed and perfect. They set everything up at Driftwood beach so that my guests and I could relax on the day of the wedding. They were also there to breakdown after the ceremony was over. Tammy was knowledgable of the tides in the area so we knew when to plan out the ceremony. The package also included 2 nights in a villas suite. The suite was candlelit and had rose petals all throughout. There was champagne on ice and a sweetheart cake waiting for us. There was bath salt and bubble bath waiting in the tub for us to relax and start our honeymoon off right. I'd recommend them any day!

This venue is next to Driftwood Beach, which is a fabulous location for a wedding. Every beach has the ocean and a shore, but this beach is lined with magnificent driftwood trees that create a dramatic setting for a marriage ceremony. Tammy, the wedding coordinator, is pleasant and well-organized.

We are so glad that we chose to have our destination wedding at Villas by the Sea. Although I was a little nervous that things wouldn't come together as I had planned, come the day of the wedding everything was beautiful and perfect! The condos were all clean and welcoming, the grounds were well-kept, and the staff was all very friendly and quick to help in any way.

The rehearsal dinner at Driftwood Bistro was AMAZING. From the food to the atmosphere, it all was wonderful.

The garden wedding was even better than we had hoped, and the pavilion was the perfect setting for an oceanside reception.

I had a little anxiety because I wasn't sure what to expect or what to take care of and would have appreciated a little more support from their wedding coordinator and additional staff, but overall it turned out lovely.

We love this location and will certainly be back for anniversaries!

We wanted a Driftwood beach wedding and Villas was the perfect place to have this! The villa rooms could use a little updating, but any problems we faced were handled by management. They provided linens and light wedding day coordination, a hotel block, vendor recommendations, and all the chairs (up to 60) set up on the beach. They were also flexible with the bar and offered multiple options for their service to provide. We chose beer and wine included in the cap we chose, but they also had liquor available for purchase.

This location worked out awesomely! There is limited availability to get your party to the Driftwood Beach location so we hired a trolley service ( Lighthouse Trollys) for 2 hours well worth it Too! The wedding coordinator ( Tammy Young) was well versed and helped us set up and clean up even though they actually usually do it. She met all of my requests gave suggestions on food, flowers, and other vendors without pushing them. The rooms were clean and nice and it the package came with them! They even managed the bar and staff as well as assisted the caterers, flowers etc.. What was best was they accommodated all of our family and friends who came from as far away as PA and FL with group rate rooms. We had 60 people .

We used the sales service for Villas for the wedding ceremony and the rehearsal dinner site for my daughter's wedding.
Tammy was easy to work with. When problems arose, she was able to smooth them out. Even though we checked the tide chart for Jekyll Island constantly during the year before the wedding, we were met with a higher tide than what they would normally have. We had to use another site on the beach which worked out just fine.
We had to add additional chairs and tables to the contract and this was done without a problem.

I was happy with the services provided by Villas By the Sea. However the part of the wedding provided by WE DO services I was not happy with at all. I feel like we got almost nothing for our money. The minister wouldn't have even been there on the right day if we hadn't stopped by her house a couple of hours before the wedding. And the so called "petite wedding cake" and the rose petal turndown service were a joke. That cake was a $5.00 cake from Wal Mart and the turndown service did nothing but make a mess that I had to clean up. I would be glad to elaborate if you want to call me for more details. I was not really happy with them at all, but our wedding and honeymoon were such a happy time, I did not want to complain.
