We got married at The Viewpoint in October 2025, and it was a dream come true! We did the wedding destination package, and it was perfect! It was so nice to have the whole property for just our friends and family all weekend. Camryn was an amazing support and guide for us throughout the whole process, and she really made sure our vision for our wedding was executed smoothly. We are so grateful to the whole Viewpoint team for giving us such an amazing weekend!

The ViewPoint made our wedding experience absolutely amazing! Ally and Camryn were the best to work with and made the whole process stress free. They were always there to help and answer questions. Not to mention they are the kindest and most patient people I’ve ever encountered. I was able to enjoy my day and not stress at all because of them. The property is undeniably gorgeous and well maintained. The day was perfect and everyone had a great time. This is an amazing place to get married. I highly would recommend this wedding venue.

From the moment I reached out to Aly and Cameron about wedding day planning they were nothing but attentive and responsive. The ViewPoint was so accommodating to our wedding day plans (we had a Sunday-only ceremony in the Summer) and went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Aly and Cameron are so professional and organized that I had no worries that everything would go according to plan — And that is exactly how our day went, Absolutely flawless. The viewpoint is not only a stunning location to have a wedding, but they are equipped with the best event team ever! I highly recommend booking your wedding day here, it was worth every penny.

The Viewpoint is an incredible venue. We got married here in June, and we could not be happier with our event! Everything from the hotel rooms, to the beautiful grounds and picturesque lighthouse made for the most perfect day. Communication and planning with the staff at the viewpoint was also really smooth and always quick. My now husband and I toured the Viewpoint when it was still under construction in early 2023. Even with a big hole in the side of the hill, it was absolutely stunning and the team was amazing at keeping everyone up to date on the progress. After booking officially, working with them was a breeze. Camryn and Aly are amazing at what they do and helped us with so much. We received so many beautiful comments about the location, and we can't stop gushing over the landscape. We had our rehearsal dinner on-site as well. The food was amazing and the organization of it all was great. We had a wedding planner and between the two, communication was great and there was never a time my husband or I felt out of the loop or unsure of any details. I cannot recommend the Viewpoint enough!

Aly, Camryn, and the team at Viewpoint Hotel were kind, professional, organized, and went OVER & above in every way. From months of supportive coordination, to helping organize a surprise dinner for our parents the Thursday before, to a seamless (& fun!) rehearsal, to a flawless execution of every detail of our wedding… This team is the best. Not to mention— the venue is jaw dropping. We had so many guests tell us this was the most beautiful venue they have been to, and we couldn’t agree more! It was even more special that we got to celebrate on the property all weekend with our closest friends and family. We couldn’t her asked for a better backdrop for our wedding and a more trusted team to make it all come to life!

The best decision we made was to have our wedding here! It’s so beautiful, the staff is so accommodating and your guests won’t be able to stop talking about it! The View Point hotel was a wonderful venue to have our party of 150 guests celebrate with us on labor day weekend 2024. Aly was detailed in her event management ,planning and execution and easy to communicate with and calming to be around. The bridal suite was felt to be the BEST In the Business per our" Best of Boston hairstylist" who felt the open windows allowing natural light helped both the hair and makeup artists do their best work. The rooms were comfortable, beautiful and the landscaping and wedding terrace with the backdrop of the Nubble lighthouse made for a special event destination. Thank you ViewPoint for making this wedding everything we had hoped forr!!

I would highly recommend the viewpoint hotel for your wedding venue. Our wedding day was made perfect by the breathtaking views, amazing staff, and beautiful and spacious rooms. This venue is constantly improving and growing. Over the year and a half of planning my wedding they had already made so many changes and all for the better. Aly, Cameron, and Haven, the wedding coordinators that we worked with throughout the process, were all knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Our guests cannot stop raving about this venue and my husband and I cannot stop looking at all the beautiful pictures. We can't wait to come back and visit for anniversaries and vacations! The ViewPoint made my waterfront wedding a dream come true, blending beautiful new renovations with immaculate grounds and stunning views of Nubble Lighthouse. The venue’s elegance is matched by its exceptional team. Aly, Camryn, and the entire staff were incredibly patient, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the planning process. Aly, in particular, was amazing—she made me feel heard, excited, and fully prepared for the big day. Aly and her team were incredible to work with on our wedding day in every way! She went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the perfect wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the ViewPoint. Her attention to detail and friendliness was noticed by us and our friends and families. ! Such a blessing and great decision we chose ViewPoint!

When we toured the Viewpoint in March of 2023, the Venue was undergoing a major site overhaul. The entire lawn was dug up for concrete pouring - for what is now the shoreside rooms looking toward nubble light.

To say we took a gamble on booking and what the outcomes of construction would be - was an understatement. There were projected timelines for multiple projects underway - 1.) the Nevada hotel - complete renovation. 2.) the 7 shoreside rooms at the viewpoint, full site trenching and build out 3.) new bathrooms and restaurant space next to the reception tent on property, and 4.) re-engineering the drainage on the site and installing turf under the reception tent (water retention had been an issue with the grass under the tent - because of the elevation of the reception lawn).

Our wedding date was booked for June 20, 2024 and we signed out contract in April 2023. There was no way to know that the Viewpoint would live up to such a tall order of upgrades over a short amount of time - but we proceeded nonetheless.

When we arrived on our wedding day - we were greeted with champagne (one of the beverages they have on tap at the front desk) the front desk structure was ALSO completely new-- a task the venue completed in addition to the aforementioned upgrades.

A team of three checked us in, hailed a golf carts to hand deliver all of our luggage concierge-style to our rooms, and set in motion the most blissful weekend of our lives.

We took swims in the saltwater pool - our guests sat seaside under the small sail cloth tent that shelters Little Auk - the airstream style outdoor restaurant (also new) and we lounged in luxury in the freshly built shoreside rooms. These new rooms by the way - are nothing short of well thought out and luxurious in their features, finishes, and view of the nubble light.

The staff and owner are hungry to put this place on the map and are hustling behind the scenes to make it happen. Not only did they live up to the gauntlet of upgrades they laid out for themselves to achieve in a year, but the attentiveness and kindness of the entire team was unparalleled throughout the process and shifting areas of unknown.

When the wedding day came - we found the convenience of being on site the BEST. One of my favorite parts of the day was spending five minutes one-on-one with my husband after our ceremony to share a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres privately in our room before the nighttime party began.

The upgrades truly were tested on our wedding day - when the forecasted Weather became that of biblical proportions for the reception. Never could I have imagined that a weekday in June in Maine would result in 90 degree temperatures for morning photographs, followed by unprecedented hail thunder and lighting during dinner and dancing.

By the grace of the universe, a breeze cooled our guests during the ceremony - which was an endurable 80 / 85 temp, until cloud cover came for cocktail hour making things much more pleasant. At about 5:20pm the skies decided they had had enough of the heat wave, and erupted into a full blown hailstorm.

The team immediately went into action, they escorted guests to their seats and began attaching clear sides onto the tent to protect the band, the equipment and the tables. They removed the sides blocking the vista, which allowed some breeze to come through (much needed) but were active in zipping them up or down again as precipitation persisted or lessened.

I had rented 100 clear umbrellas, that the property team placed outside the new bathroom structure adjacent to the tent, and handed off to guests to walk back and forth seamlessly without getting wet.

Lightning and thunder boomed through my husand and I's first dance to "I don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith. In many a case, this is a wedding event's worst nightmare, but to us it was a cinematic backdrop to a day we ended up enjoying - because of how prepared the property and staff was for this level of weather.

The true test for me was the how the turf would hold up under such a saturating storm. The drainage under the tent worked perfectly - and was a true blessing for the conditions of the day. The turf under our feet stayed dry the entire night, our guests danced to the close of the evening, everyone was buzzing.

My feedback is thus - this venue is going to climb to be one of the premiere venues in Maine in the coming years. Book it fast and book it quickly for a premium experience at a property that is still growing its experience and rates.

Do not expect the Viewpoint to be anything close to your current understanding of the word "Hotel." It is not a building with a ballroom/ elevators/ identical units. This is a one-of-a-kind, network of amenity spaces, that compose a private wedding campus. It is its own fingerprint and mold, it is quaint, and most impressionably- it is a completely different place than we toured in 2023.

The viewpoint is a venue that bets on itself, on its people and on its couples. If it can accomplish the promises it set up for itself to achieve in a year, no one can predict what this property and business owner will push itself to achieve in the wedding seasons to come.

As I write this review, I am sure changes and improvements are already in the works to continue to evolve this place, the experience and the value of this space as a venue for couples. It was a true privilege to get married here.

We were so over the moon with our wedding at The Viewpoint! The entire staff was so lovely all weekend. It is so nice seeing the same faces throughout the whole weekend. Our guests were blown away by the hotel and the amenities! Aly was our day of coordinator but she did SO much more planning than just day of. She helped facilitate all the vendors and she is the best person to have beside you on your big day! You are in good hands at The Viewpoint!

The rain didn't stop us from having the best day of ours lives on June 24, 2023! My husband and I cannot recommend the Viewpoint enough for your wedding. This is a one of a kind, true boutique experience. Haven, Aly, and the entire team (shoutout to Patrick who was dancing in the middle of the street escorting our party trollies to the after party) made us feel like family throughout the entire planning process. Our families, and bridal parties all stayed on the property and it was EPIC. It was so unique and special to truly have the property to ourselves. The team at the Viewpoint really goes above and beyond to make you feel so comfortable and special throughout your stay with them. It did rain on our wedding day, but we knew that we were taking that risk prior to booking with them. Three biggest takeaways as a rainy viewpoint bride: 1) Have your backup plans in place before you arrive for the weekend, so that you don't have to worry about it when you're supposed to be enjoying your time as a bride! 2) Hire a strong vendor team who is experienced with weddings in New England weather, it REALLY makes a difference. 3) Do not let the rain, rain on your parade! There's nothing you can do to control the weather, but you can control your happiness that day and that's exactly what my husband and I did. Of course we dreamt of a beautiful, sunny, lusciously green day at the Viewpoint. Instead, we got a misty, foggy, rainy day... and it was still the most spectacular day that our friends and family are still raving about. To the Viewpoint team, you are one of a kind, and we are forever grateful for the memories we'll forever cherish. We can't wait to come stay with you again for all of our future anniversaries!!

My husband and I held an intimate 16-person ceremony at the Viewpoint Hotel. The setting was picturesque with the most beautiful natural backdrop only the Maine Coast can provide. The staff was helpful and proactive from the get-go. The day of coordinator took care of all scheduling needs with vendors and greeted party members and guests. We could not have asked for it to have gone any smoother.

Choosing The ViewPoint Hotel as our August 2023 wedding venue was the best decision we made and absolutely MADE our wedding. It has a “wow” factor that will impress your guests from the moment they step onto the property until the minute they leave. Around 30% of our guests were not from New England, so we wanted them to have a true Maine experience, and what better way than having them spend the weekend on the beautiful rocky coastline while looking at the Nubble Lighthouse! Many of our guests are still saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we know the property, staff, and view were a huge factor in creating that whole experience.

First of all, the property is absolutely breathtaking. We booked with the ViewPoint before they started their renovations in late 2022, but we saw renderings so we had an idea of what to expect. We were a bit nervous knowing that we wouldn’t see the final product until a few short months before our wedding day. Let me tell you, they exceeded our expectations! The addition of the new rooms, the new wedding ceremony space, and the incredible landscaping add a level of elegance that didn’t exist before. The existing hotel rooms are wonderful, and many upgrades were made over the last few months (flooring, furniture, etc.). But the real star of the show is the 7 new hillside rooms/cabanas. You have to see them for yourself…jaw-droppingly beautiful with very high-end finishes and technology. Your guests staying on property will be delighted with the rooms.

Now, onto the staff…the people you will work with at Viewpoint are the highest-caliber professionals who will do everything to make sure your wedding day is exactly how you picture it. We decided to use the ViewPoint’s Day-Of-Coordinator service and worked closely with Haven throughout the planning process. I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. Haven is super friendly, helpful, funny, accommodating, and reliable…it was easy to trust her in helping us plan our perfect day. She was available to answer questions via email or hop on the phone whenever needed. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly thanks to Haven (and Aly and the rest of the team!). Haven is a true pro and coordinated the day’s schedule and every vendor so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could focus on being present with our family and friends. The staff set everything up for the ceremony and reception and broke it all down at the end of the night. One thing to note is the property does not have an indoor space in case of rain, but there are several rain-plan options (additional ceremony tent, umbrellas, etc.) so just make sure you’re OK with that scenario. We were fine with the rain-plan, but fortunately had beautiful weather. In summary, if you’re looking for a beautiful Maine wedding along the coast that you and your guests will remember forever, don’t hesitate to book the Viewpoint Hotel!

We were looking to have a very small wedding (25 people) and found ViewPoint via their "ceremony-only" package, which allows you to have the grounds for 2 hours plus an absolutely adorable getting-ready space all day. Of course they do incredible big, regular weddings as well, but the smaller package was a perfect fit for us!

The views are of course out-of-this-world stunning, but the team is also excellent. Camryn was the coordinator for our day - she super on top of everything, and was able to answer all of our (many) questions via as many emails and phone calls as I needed. She was super accommodating, reliable, and she made the day run completely smoothly.

We booked our date over a year ahead of time and waited so long for our day and it was nothing short of perfect. We utilized the day of coordinator options and it was so worth it! They were amazing through every step, making sure we had everything ready for the day. A few weeks before they collected all the numbers of vendors to contact to make sure the day ran smoothly. Once we arrived everyone at the ViewPoint just wanted us to have the best time of our lives and we did! Everyone went above and beyond to make the day so special. All our guests expressed how much fun they had and how gorgeous the grounds and the view is. 10000/10 would recommend your wedding here, it’s an absolute dream come true!

Haven and the Viewpoint team are nothing short of fabulous when it comes to making your wedding day exactly as you had envisioned. The entire team was so responsive, and always had an answer for any question that I had, and made the planning process, so smooth and easy.

We got married on October 1st 2022 at the Viewpoint and it was truly the BEST day of our lives. The staff was incredible to work with leading up to it and took alot of the planning stress off of us. From the moment we started working with them until the day after our wedding it was a pleasant experience. Val, Haven and Ally really know what they are doing and they make you feel like family when you are there. The venue itself is beautiful and the friendly maintenance crew does an amazing job keeping the grounds beautiful. If we could get married again and again it would be the Viewpoint every time!

The ViewPoint is absolutely amazing. From our first visit, we knew this was where we wanted to get married! While there are so many things to love, at the top of our list was that the views are just stunning-- the epitome of the beautiful Maine coastline. It's breathtaking. The location of the hotel feels so private and created such a special experience for our guests. Each room is beautiful in its own right-- clean, spacious, modern and with every amenity you could need. All of our family and friends felt like we were providing them with a vacation experience. Last but certainly not least, Aly and Haven, our wedding coordinator team, were amazing! So attentive to our every need and made our special day run seamlessly. They helped us create the wedding experience of our dreams and assisted us through the planning process from start to finish. Even now, months after our wedding day, our guests are still talking about the ViewPoint. We can't recommend this venue and vendor team enough!

The most amazing team of warm and wonderful people who know how to make magic happen!

My husband and I were just married here on July 4th weekend. The views from the venue were absolutely breathtaking and the grounds perfectly manicured. The tented reception with the nubble lighthouse backdrop makes for a quintessential New England wedding. The staff all worked together like a well-oiled machine. Haven and Aly were so helpful both in the weeks leading up to and during the event. Every detail was well thought out from timing, to logistics, to setting up and breaking down decor for us. Our wedding felt intimate and exclusive since the entire grounds were fully reserved for the wedding party for the full weekend to celebrate. Do be aware this venue is completely a la carte, so it does involve a great deal of planning and coordination. This means choosing everything from a caterer to tables, chairs, even napkins/plates to rent. I recommend at minimum utilizing viewpoint’s event coordinator service if not a full wedding planner. Especially since Haven and her assistant Aly were MORE than worth it. I’m not sure we could’ve pulled everything off without them, at least not without a major deal of stress. One other thing to be mindful of is the fact that York Beach is a pretty small town. If you have a lot of folks coming from out of town, the room blocks situation at neighboring hotels can be tricky. Since it was a holiday weekend, we could not find any hotel within cape neddick that would accommodate room blocks. The business owners around the area are very comfortable as is and do not feel obligated to accommodate. This meant urging guests to book their rooms as far in advance as possible was a must, otherwise they risked the hotels that we reserved trolley transport from being sold out. That said, it was 100% well worth it to be married at such an incredible venue. We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they’d ever attended. It was worth every penny and I can’t wait to celebrate anniversaries and vacations here in the years to come!!

We were told by multiple people it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. On top of that the staff was top notch. I highly recommend it, I wish we could do it all again!!

There is no better place to get married than Viewpoint! We fell in love with it the first time we saw it and knew no other place would compare. The team was great through every step of the process. Haven and Aly are the BEST! We love them and could not have asked for better people to work with. They made sure our day was absolutely perfect. We could not have imagined a better day. We had the most memorable weekend with our family and friends (who still cannot stop talking about our wedding day weeks later). Viewpoint feels like a second home to us now and we will be back as much as we possibly can!

The most AMAZING venue, and the view alone made this a dream wedding! But Haven & Aly, the two day-of coordinators at The Viewpoint, made everything 100 times better. I cannot say enough good things about these two! They were there for my million planning questions and kept me on track and filled all the missing pieces when I didn’t know what to choose. Haven was our day-of coordinator and if there was a problem that day, I definitely had no clue! 12/10 would recommend.

Haven and Ally made my ceremony amazing! I chose to have a small ceremony and cocktail hour, and they nailed it. Haven made the day of stress-free. Her kind and professional gestures were so appreciated. I was so worried about how my great-grandmother would be seated-Haven made this no issue! She was kind and patient with my grandmother and was able to get her comfortably seated before our ceremony. I can’t thank her enough for that and all of the many things she did to make our day special. I can’t wait to stay for our future anniversaries!

Working with Haven and Aly was wonderful! Not only are they timely in responding , but they were also so patient with my husband and I throughout the process! The ViewPoint is an absolute dream backdrop with the ocean and Nubble light house right there. The grounds are impeccably kept, and the suites are tastefully decorated while still feeling homey and comfortable! The ability to be able to text the office with questions or needs, and get a response almost immediately was fantastic!

Our experience at the Viewpoint Hotel was nothing short of perfect! We began considering the Viewpoint for our wedding ceremony & reception in 2018. The Nubble lighthouse is our spot and the second we toured the property, we were committed! Val and the staff were instrumental in helping us find vendors to suit our taste, coordinating details on our behalf and keeping us informed all along the way. They were consistently available for us to ask questions and went out of their way to provide us with all the information we needed to plan our dream experience. We were among many who had to postpone our ceremony & reception due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Val, Joe & Haven were supremely understanding and demonstrated the utmost compassion as we made difficult decisions regarding rescheduling…twice. They all made the process of changing our date seamless and put all of our stress at ease. When THE day finally arrived, the Viewpoint team ensured our day went off without a hitch. No detail was overlooked (Val even picked me up an iced coffee!), no question unanswered and no worry needed. The impeccable service did not end after our wedding weekend. We planned an extended stay after our nuptials during which we wanted for nothing. The Viewpoint team continued to go beyond all our expectations to make our stay comfortable, exciting and fun. Pick the Viewpoint and do not look back! We know firsthand; dream weddings are made at the Viewpoint Hotel!

The ViewPoint was absolutely amazing! We had an 8 month engagement and felt totally prepared for our wedding. AJ and Val were so incredibly helpful with everything. Guests were in shock when they arrived and saw the view. It's picture perfect we couldn't ask for anything better!!

Our experience at the Viewpoint was unparalleled. From the moment we booked with Val, I knew we were in the best hands. She was so positive and excited about our day (probably as much as we were) and to have that kind of enthusiasm for your clients really does speak volumes about the Viewpoint. I implore you to book her as your "day of coordinator" but honestly, she was so much more. Every meeting, every email, every call, was answered with genuine interest for our satisfaction and happiness on our day. The entire weekend that we spent at the Viewpoint for our wedding surrounded by our family and friends could not have been more perfect and we really owe it to the recommendations we received by them and the incredible work that Val and the team put into every detail. Thank you over and over and over again for caring as much about our wedding as we did- we are positive it would not have been as perfect any where else.

Elaine, Alex and the team at the ViewPoint Hotel are wonderful! Our wedding was better than we could have imagined and it was thanks to all of the hardworking staff. The venue is gorgeous - I am a little bias - but I think that it is the best spot in York for a wedding. Everyone at the ViewPoint was so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole celebration. It was so amazing to have our bridal party and families stay at the venue with us - it made it into a whole weekend celebration. We loved our time at the ViewPoint and are looking forward to going back. We highly recommend the ViewPoint to every bride looking to get married in Maine! :)

While planning our wedding ceremony, we stumbled across the Viewpoint Hotel website. I clicked on their video of a previous wedding, and I was sold! The location , the VIEW is amazing!! The property is beautiful , flowers well maintained! My suite was 103 and it was so nice !!!
The staff was awesome the day of. Everything went smoothly. At the end of the night we came back to our room and they had left us a sweet card, champagne and Lindt chocolates.
The next day we woke up to an incredible view of Nubble Light. Amazing!!!

I had my wedding at the Viewpoint on June 27, 2015 and it was more than I could have hoped for! The staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful in every way possible. Their help, throughout the planning process and on the day of my wedding, let me be relaxed and focus on what really matters - enjoying my wedding day! The grounds were spectacular and made for a great back drop for our photos. All of our guests were blown away! Thank you to the ViewPoint for making our day so special!!

My wedding was held at the ViewPoint on June 14 and I could not have imagined a more beautiful venue. The ViewPoint was everything and more then what I wanted in a wedding. From the day I got engaged my parents and I were against having a tent wedding, but when we went to the ViewPoint and saw the grounds and the view, our opinions changed in a matter of seconds, and I am so glad it did. The owner of the hotel has to be the most down to earth, nicest guy to work with. Jessica who coordinated with us was a total sweetheart and was willing to help in anyway possible. I received more complements from my guests saying how my wedding was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to and that was largely in part to the beautiful views that the ViewPoint offered. I can not wait to go back to the ViewPoint and spend an anniversary or weekend away there.

The Viewpoint Hotel was the perfect location for our wedding. A good friend (who turned out to be our caterer as well) recommended the location and he was spot on! Located right on the water, with Nubble Light in the background, it provided the perfect backdrop for the day. The grounds are big enough to hold a large tent and we were able to have both the ceremony and reception there at the location. But even at that, there was a very intimate feeling to the experience, made even more special by the fire pit at the end of the night! The hotel itself proved to be the perfect location for our out-of-town family, and those that had never been to Maine were blown away by the views and hospitality they found there. Michael, the owner, and Jessica in the front office were fantastic to work with - very attentive and responsive to any of our needs. Intimate, scenic, beautiful, special - we could go on and on. Simply put, it's a wonderful place to be married, and we'd highly recommend it.

I have thanked my in-laws over and over again for finding this gem for our wedding ceremony. I will likely still need to thank them a few more times. I could not imagine a more perfect setting for our semi-destination East Coast wedding. The pictures do not do this place justice but they do give you a good taste of the breathtakingly beautiful setting. The lawn and gardens are well groomed and the staff is so attentive.\r\n\r\nPlanning with Trudi and Jessica was very smooth with oodles of emails and a few phone calls to fix up final details. They thought of everything and were open to new ideas. The owner, Michael, made himself available for both the rehearsal and the ceremony preparations. He was so sweet and helpful! Oh, and about the rehearsal -- torrential downpours in August! The ViewPoint team didn\'t hesitate to set up a plan B and everyone was still organized and ready to go for the real thing. Even with some traffic issues (make sure to tell your guests to give themselves extra travel time during the summer months!) everything went perfectly.\r\n\r\nMy bridal party also stayed at Viewpoint the weekend of the wedding and my new husband and I stayed there on our wedding night so I should speak to the hotel itself, too. The rooms are spacious and cute with WONDERFUL views of the water and the Nubble Lighthouse. Waking up in the morning was like a dream! I hope my husband and I get to celebrate our anniversary here someday!

We got married at The Viewpoint in June and could not be happier with our experience. The property itself is stunning, and the look on our guests' faces as they walked onto the grounds was something we'll never forget. Camryn was incredible throughout the process, making sure we were prepared and hadn't forgotten anything leading up to our wedding. Our weather wasn't perfect, and she helped guide us, our guests, and our vendors through a perfect day nonetheless, ensuring that a little rain didn't dampen anyone's experience. We can't recommend this venue highly enough to other couples, and we can't wait to return to the Viewpoint for another stay soon.

If you want a wedding venue that will leave your guests in awe, choose the Viewpoint Hotel! From the moment I saw the stunning view of the Nubble Lighthouse, I knew it was the perfect place for us. Camryn, the event coordinator, is an absolute rockstar—organized, kind, and so helpful. Our 128-person wedding felt perfectly intimate yet spacious, with room for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing under the beautiful Sperry tent. The bar package was great, and with views this gorgeous, you barely need decorations. Thank you, Viewpoint, for an unforgettable experience!

This venue was a dream for those of us on a budget but who wanted a killer view. We opted for the ceremony-only package with a cocktail hour afterwards, and while it was a short time with all the guests at that venue (2 hours total that guests may be on-property), it was everything we could have hoped with ambiance, view, and staging. Our photos are incredible, our guests had the best time, our room that evening was immaculate and beautiful, the bridal studio was an excellent space, and we would tell anyone getting married to check out the Viewpoint!

We are SO glad we splurged with the ViewPoint as our wedding venue - it was truly a breathtaking weekend and we are still receiving compliments from family and friends. The grounds are stunning and even on a cloudy day like we had in late September, the view of Nubble Light is straight out of a magazine.
The staff at the ViewPoint were extremely welcoming and friendly - and we'd like to give a special shout out to Haven for going above and beyond to make sure we felt supported since we booked the venue 1.5 years out - on a snowy, cold day in March where she sat with us for well over an hour to answer any and all questions we had. Throughout the planning process, she had many helpful tips, honest recommendations, and provided us with some laughs especially as the final countdown began :) Definitely 150% worth having your wedding here especially if you have a connection with the beautiful southern Maine coast! A perfect setting for a wedding. We'll be back to celebrate anniversaries well into the future.

My husband and I got married at the Viewpoint Hotel this past August and it was the BEST day ever. We chose this venue because of how unique it was sitting on the ocean, the ability to have a tented reception, and the fact that we could have our closest friends/family stay onsite the entire weekend- and all of that was worth the cost. Everything went better than we could have imagined, and that was mostly due to HAVEN. Do not think twice about having Haven and Aly as your day of coordinators, they will make every penny you spend worth it and your day perfect.
It is important to know that you have to bring in every vendor yourself (except alcohol which is quite a bit of a rip off provided by the Viewpoint), and it can be expensive and a bit complicated to coordinate. That being said, there are amazing local New England vendors and your wedding will be everything you dream of, especially if Haven is involved.
Also important to note that booking room blocks is not really a thing in York or York Beach, so if most of your guests are coming from out of town like ours were, I would consider not doing a holiday weekend or the highest weeks in August. Overall, would not change a thing and had the time of our lives.

This venue is truly breathtaking and it was a major part of our wedding that our guests appreciated! Nothing beats that blissful view of the Nubble and the rocky coastline. The grounds are also immaculate, with beautiful green grass and landscpaing that adds to the whole feel of your wedding (without having to spend extra money on florals!) Working with the wedding coordinator team here was incredible as well. We didnt use a wedding planner but Haven and Aly were both incredibly knowledgable and on top of it. I didnt want to be on my phone the morning of the wedding but i kept it nearby me just in case...and i never got one text or call from them. They set up and prepped for the wedding so seamlessly and with such careful detail!

I highly recommend getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite across the street. We can't wait to come back to The Viewpoint and stay as guests!

We were married in a small, intimate ceremony on the Viewpoint Hotel’s gorgeous Ocean’s Edge Patio, with the picturesque Nubble Lighthouse and crashing waves as our backdrop. Haven (the Events Coordinator), Val (the Hotel Director), and the rest of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and ensured that our day proceeded without a hitch. While the weather ended up being perfect on our wedding day, the staff had an EZ-Up tent, in the case of rain, ready to be deployed at a moment’s notice, which was much appreciated. In addition to our ceremony, our entire wedding party stayed two nights at the Viewpoint. Everyone commented about how much they enjoyed their rooms, the grounds, and the spectacular views. Our wish to have an outdoor wedding in coastal Maine was certainly met, and we are very happy to have selected this venue as it helped capture everything we imagined our day would be! The memories of such an amazing day will surely last a lifetime, and we are excited to visit again in the future.

My husband and I were married here in July and had a truly perfect wedding! The ViewPoint is absolutely stunning and the Day of Coordinator was on top of everything. The day of our wedding I was relaxed and at ease because of the amazing service and expertise of the staff. You could not ask for a more beautiful wedding venue with a large grassy lawn for guests to explore and the picture perfect lighthouse and ocean view. If you are looking for a special, quintessential wedding look no further, ViewPoint will overdeliver on your expectations.

We are SO happy we chose Viewpoint for our wedding! It was GORGEOUS -- we still get people telling us it was the most beautiful wedding setting they've ever seen. Two of our friends even used a photo they took at our wedding, in front of the lighthouse, as their save the date picture! Valerie and the staff were so helpful and gave our guests great service. The fire pit was the cherry on top. If you're lucky enough to get availability at Viewpoint, don't think twice!

This venue is absolutely stunning. The view your guests have is beautiful looking straight at Nubble Light. The staff is wonderful, and very helpful and attentive. Everything is clean and well taken care of and the guest rooms are wonderful as well. In my opinion this is the best venue for a wedding in the area.

The ViewPoint changed ownership recently, and most of the five star reviews are a count of the previous owner (who had incredible staff). When we originally planned out our wedding and signed the contract for our ceremony, the hotel was under the previous ownership. The views of the Nubble are amazing. The rooms are renovated and stunning with a more modern feel.

Now for the bad part. The hotel (once being bought out) wanted to upcharge us for valet parking and for a wedding coordinator. The previous owners included coordination in the original contract and pricing, but the new owners wanted us to pay more for it. When my fiancé arrived at the hotel with the wedding party the night before our wedding, there were bugs and cobwebs in the bathroom and no towels. The AC did not work and everyone had to sleep in the heat. They had to get ready the day of the wedding with electricians in and out of the room, with the AC off and outlets not working. The office does not open until 9 and they are extremely short staffed, so it made it hard for the hotel to correct these issues fast. To make the matter worse, they wanted to charge us for blankets when using the pullout couch. The new owner has the "we will squeeze money out of you and provide you no service" attitude. The rooms are not cheap and we expected more service. We had family staying at the hotel for a longer stay and they had a similar experience and now wish they stayed at an Air BnB.

The new owner and manager (Joe) was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive when all of these issues were brought to his attention. He reluctantly refunded us for one night. Being from the York area, it is common knowledge around town that Joe owns Inn on the Blues, which has mediocre reviews and takes advantage of the location and tourists not knowing any better.

From a wedding perspective and also being from the area, there are SO many other places to choose from in York. Don't waste your time here.

I haven't stayed here - and never would. I had reached out to the hotel several weeks ago to see about hosting a small intimate wedding. They did not respond, so I followed up. This time they did respond with a lovely email telling me how they "love" the smaller weddings and that they were the perfect destination. What they had omitted to do, was to remove an internal email exchange that was spoke extremely derogatorily about not only my wedding ideas, the size of my wedding, and insinuated that I was desperate. If this is how they view potential guests, i.e. those people that fund their business, I would not wish to spend a minute there.
