Thank you Vida events!
The very first thing we did after getting engaged was hire Vida Events for their full wedding planning services, and it was 100% the best decision we made.
Cydney and Megan were an absolute DREAM to work with. They were responsive, collaborative and their excitement and love for planning couples’ special days was apparent in all of our interactions.
Cydney helped us find our vendors, was instrumental in creating the design for our wedding, and was meticulously organized. We had no nerves as we approached our wedding day because we knew that we were in such great hands and that Cydney had it covered.
She and Megan were the dream team and we attribute our perfect day to the work that they put in. If we could do it all over again, we’d stick with Vida Events a million times over, and we enthusiastically recommend the Vida team to anyone planning a wedding.

We’re Vida Obsessed!!
Wow where do I start with Vida Events! We originally discovered Vida when they had planned our good friend’s STUNNING wedding. When it came to our own wedding planning we were in way over our heads and didn’t know where to start but I knew it had to be with them. They made the planning process organized, easy, and pretty much a breeze and we couldn’t have been more thankful. Kylie, Risse, and Megan were all involved our meetings and gave us input. I felt 100% supported by them all.
Kylie is absolutely brilliant, amazing, and a true expert in her craft. Not only did she literally handle every single hard task that comes with wedding planning, she was also there for us emotionally. It’s a stressful time that comes with a lot of emotions and we formed a bond with her beyond just planner and client. She is friendly, funny, and we genuinely enjoyed all of our time spent with her. She answered my every question and “but what about this”’s at any given point. She loved all of our quirky ideas and was always game to do something fun. She took all of our ideas and dreams and turned it into something even better and we are going to spend the rest of our lives thinking about and showing others our wedding. Risse was also a superstar and my saving grace. My mom forgot her rehearsal dinner dress and Risse quite literally went to the store to get her a dress. Not to forget that her and Kylie were offering her their dresses, even the ones they were wearing. How amazing are they??
We often talk about how much we seriously could not have done it without Vida and I could talk about it forever. It was by far the best investment we made for our wedding (and possibly life lol). Our wedding was seamless thanks to them. We cannot recommend them enough. In fact, I recommend them every chance I get. Thank you Vida from the very bottom of our hearts!!-

The sweetest, most organized & professional creative team!
The Vida Events team is unmatched! Choosing a wedding planner is such a huge decision and after talking to the team, I quickly felt like it was a perfect fit. Shortly after working with them, we knew it was the right decision. From start to finish, they were all extremely incredible to work with, super organized and professional, and so fun to get to know throughout the process.
We are so grateful to have gotten the chance to work with the Vida team and are sad that the weekly calls are over now that our wedding weekend has passed. The time working with them truly flew by because they made the process that enjoyable. I looked forward to calls and emails and felt like the pace of planning was perfect- they made it manageable and never too stressful. Working a full time job while wedding planning, I couldn't be more appreciative of how they handled every vendor email and were flexible with scheduling calls around our schedule. They worked around the clock to make our weekend what it was, which did not go unnoticed and we cannot say thank you enough for that.
Onto the design- this team is extremely talented and creative!! They listened to our ideas and made our wedding feel like us. They even pushed me out of my comfort zone at times, which I'm so grateful for because it made the overall experience and outcome extraordinary. Their philosophy from the start was to design a unique wedding suited to the couple, not a cookie-cutter one you see online, and that truly came to life. It was so special to hear guests say to us "wow this feels exactly like the two of you". That's what a wedding should be, and that would not have been possible without this team.
Our wedding weekend had many hurdles because of the weather, but the team handled it all seamlessly to the point that the guests didn't even know plans had changed. We couldn't imagine the day without them, and they made our vision come to life. I love that Vida truly embodies a team spirit and that we got the chance to work with multiple planners throughout the process even though one was the lead- Kylie did a fantastic job, so thoughtful, organized, intentional and most importantly fun to spend time with. She never made us feel stressed or behind and always knew how to make us laugh. This is something I wouldn't have known to look for in a planner but am so thankful that we were extremely blessed with someone so calm and positive who constantly reminded us about the reason for the wedding - which is the whole point of it all.
It is truly such a special culture the Vida Events Team has created, I'm looking forward to having lifelong friends in each of them. Wedding planning is not just a job to them; it is so obvious they all care about their couples, developing relationships, and putting intention behind everything they do to make others feel good. Thank you all for your hard work for us and our families. Cannot recommend Vida Events enough!!!!-

Truly cannot recommend Vida enough!!!
The first thing I tell anyone who gets engaged is this: hire Vida Events. Seriously.
Wedding planning is overwhelming in ways you don’t expect, but from day one, Risse, Megan, and Kylie made everything feel seamless and stress-free. I was a Type A bride who thought I only needed a day-of coordinator – I was humbly wrong. Having Vida guide us from start to finish was invaluable.
Vida are truly experts – they have strong, genuine relationships with the top vendors in the area, and are organized to the highest degree. We never had to chase an email, never felt out of the loop, never felt pushed to step out of our budget, and ALWAYS knew we were in capable hands.
When two *major* vendor emergencies came up within two months of our wedding, Vida proved exactly why they’re the best. They mobilized immediately – group chat (and Diet Cokes) included – and handled everything with calm confidence and professionalism. On our wedding day, we had *zero* stress – not because nothing could have gone wrong, but because we trusted Risse and Kylie fully. We were able to be fully present, soak in every moment, and enjoy the day we had dreamed of – which is completely priceless!
The Vida team is impeccably organized, deeply connected, and immensely creative, but most importantly, they truly care. Planning with Vida Events felt like working with friends who just happen to be exceptional at what they do. They are worth every penny, and we are so incredibly grateful they were part of our story.-

Your wedding will thank you - hire Vida Events now!!
I hired Vida for events management about 6 months out from the big day and my only regret is that I wish I hired them for full planning. To set the scene: I was feeling very lost in the planning process because you just don’t know what you don’t know! Enter Risse and Vida Events. Risse was my wedding wing woman, hype girl, low-key therapist, sounding board and safe place for all the crazy ideas and stressful logistics that come with wedding planning. She went above and beyond to help me wrangle the ping-ponging thoughts and streamline the planning process.
During our planning sessions, Risse was always organized, kept the to-dos digestible and made planning fun. She went out of her way to help me brainstorm and execute any small or large ideas. Risse would always send texts/emails of encouragement, reminders, and follow-ups - the time and effort she put in to help a bride drowning in indecision and procrastination was lifesaving. She would help find solutions to any problems and no question was left unanswered (even when I was exhibiting unhinged behavior such as considering changing the color scheme a month out or deciding to order linens two weeks out – nightmare fuel, I know). She always met my stress with serene energy – her patience and kindness is unmatched.
Leading up to the wedding, Risse took charge of communications with vendors and any details, which was incredible because no one can prepare a bride for the final weeks before the wedding. On the day of, Risse made sure that I was drinking water, eating food, that I had everything I needed, and kept us on track with the timeline – all while talking to vendors, perfecting the ballroom, and helping turn the venue into the most romantic space I’ve ever seen! The entire wedding day was absolutely stunning. I know I must be leaving things out, but all in all, we couldn’t have asked for a lovelier person (and team) to be a part of the most important and beautiful moment of our lives! THANK YOU RISSE AND VIDA EVENTS. HIRE THEM IMMEDIATELY!-

Highly recommend - Loved Kylie!
Kylie was our Vida Events coordinator for our March 2025 wedding and we can not recommend her and her team enough! The minute she stepped in, she took all of the stress off of our shoulders and took over all of the communications with our other vendors. Not only was she amazing at what she does, but she was so nice and easy to work with. She made sure our vision was executed perfectly and she went above and beyond for us on our wedding day to make sure we had the best time. Highly recommend!! -

Could not recommend Kylie and the Vida team enough!
Working with Vida Events was the best decision we could have ever made! We were lucky enough to have Kylie as our planner and she was truly a blessing. Kylie is organized, creative, gifted, and so much more. She made the whole wedding planning process a breeze and insanely fun! Working with Kylie truly felt like working with a close friend, which made wedding planning even more enjoyable. My husband and I constantly talk about how we could have never planned a wedding without her. She went above and beyond with every single aspect of planning. Kylie knows all things there are to know about weddings, there was no situation she could not handle. She truly knew our vision better than we did, and brought it to life with ease.
Her consistent communication and beautifully unique ideas made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze. The most important thing to us was being stress-free on our wedding day, and Kylie made that effortless. My husband and I truly had zero worries throughout the whole process, especially on the day of. Having a planner as detailed and skilled as Kylie allowed us to truly enjoy our day. She made our wedding day beyond special. She ensured we built in time on the day of for just my husband and I to soak everything in and truly put us first throughout everything.
Being stress free on your wedding day is one thing, but being stress free throughout the whole wedding planning process is another thing. The only reason we were both is because of Kylie. We could not thank her enough for everything she did for us! -

We had the pleasure of hiring Vida Events (specifically Risse) to coordinate the day of our wedding. The lead up and execution of our wedding couldn't have been more flawless and relaxing. Risse and her team went above and beyond our expectations. Their responsiveness to our questions and concerns was spectacular! The best investment!
Where to begin! From the first conversations with Megan, we knew she/Vida Events was the best wedding planner choice we could make. As a chronic “planner” with little knowledge on where to start when it comes to wedding planning (a scary combination for me!) it was important that our planner be organized, knowledgeable, and willing to field my many questions to help us make our vision come to life. Megan did just that, and made the process FUN amidst all the to-do’s. She helped us navigate the many vendor selections/contracts/planning convos, absolutely rocked the event design, and took so much stress off us and our families— all with a patience, honesty, and professionalism I can’t highlight enough.
I strongly recommend Vida Events to all couples planning their wedding — not only for the tactical planning piece, but the emotional support and encouragement as well. -

My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with Megan at Vida Events! Megan is incredibly kind and always makes you feel like her top priority. She is relatable, honest, and felt more like a good friend. Megan provided multiple price options for vendors, ensuring we stayed within our budget or confirming we were comfortable if we exceeded it. Her impeccable taste in all things wedding-related made her advice invaluable. Megan was very patient as we figured out the details of our wedding, such as the number of guests and the location. She emailed numerous resorts worldwide and didn't mind the extra effort. For our destination wedding in The Bahamas, Megan expertly organized and coordinated with vendors and the resort. She even traveled to the resort with us to ensure everything was perfect, allowing us to relax and enjoy time with our friends and family. Megan's hard work made our wedding amazing, and we will always appreciate her!-

Cydney, Megan, Kylie and Risse are the real MVPs. Finding the right planning team for your big day can be overwhelming and we’re so glad that we found them. Supportive, flexible, patient and full of energy- they truly know how to make magic happen. They did a great job of making us feel seen, respected and heard as we planned for our big day. We ended up using their month-of package which was perfect for us. Having worked with them, I’d also 100% trust working with them for a full planning package as well.

Thank you for planning one of the most important and special days of our lives. The wedding day was beautiful and it was SO FUN. Nic & I were lucky to have a planner who only said YES and always had a smile on her face. Her approach was like a loving older sister who wanted the best for you and did everything she could to set you up for success. She is warm, diligent, and wildly professional. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was planning a wedding for. Also, I am a type A, has to be done my way, kind of person and having her to put my trust in was incredible. Everything was just as planned and she was ALWAYS two steps ahead of me when I would start to begin my double check to do list haha. We loved being able to celebrate our day with our favorite people because we never had to think of logistics. Choosing Vida was the best decision and I would choose them again, and again.

Megan and Vida Events were fantastic. I highly recommend! While I’m very organized and detail oriented, the days leading up to the wedding and day of coordination would have gone completely sideways without Megan. First off, I would have made the worst timeline and wouldn’t have known how early I needed to start without Megan. She knew exactly how long everything would take. I also woke up in the middle of the night before the wedding freaked out about whether I should allow phones at the ceremony. Megan strongly suggested not to and sent examples of what could happen in the photos (phones in the air). Im so glad I took her advice. She absolutely saved my pictures!! Another great example of Megan’s excellence was when the flower vendor brought the wrong candles for the ceremony (we couldn’t have a real flame). Megan had her game face on and sent the vendor right back (across town through the canals of Venice Italy mind you!) to pick up the correct candles! They made it back in time for the ceremony. Lastly, Megan has a great eye. I would ask her for design suggestions along the way and didn’t have a shred of worry when she was helping the vendors set up. I knew she had it. I can’t sing her praises enough. -

Our Wedding Day!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Willard InterContinental in Washington DC on September 3rd, 2023, and it was everything we hoped for! When we initially spoke to Meghan, we had tons of questions and Meghan was so pleasant and was more than willing to answer any questions we had. After interviewing a few vendors, we decided to go with VIDA! Risse was our lead planner, and it was SO great working with her. We were nervous since we had such a large headcount of about 300 people, but she ensured us that her team could handle it. She gave us tips and tricks leading up to the wedding and jumped on weekly calls to make sure the planning process was going smoothly. Risse was so kind, and you can tell she really loves what she does! Her positivity and calm nature made the entire process seamless. The day of the wedding could not have been more perfect. Risse created a very detailed timeline, and everything went according to plan. When we got back to our hotel suite that evening (or morning haha!) we found our guest book, card box etc. all packed by Risse and her team. After the wedding, we had family calling to tell us it was such a beautiful wedding and they were so shocked at how organized everything was, especially with a wedding of our size! The only complaint was that the wedding day went by too fast! Thank you to Risse and VIDA for making our day so magical! Make sure to book them for your big day!!! -

Absolutely wonderful experience!
Megan is absolutely amazing and we were so lucky to work with her on our wedding reception/anniversary celebration! I started planning with a somewhat vague vision (jewel tones and fall-inspired), and Megan helped us create a celebration more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Every vendor she recommended was exceptional. Knowing my husband and I adopted our pets and we passionately support rescue organizations, she suggested a seating/escort wall featuring adoptable dogs and cats! It represented us perfectly, and most importantly, supported the rescue organization we worked with to adopt our dog, Koda. Megan was truly wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process and the day of our celebration was flawless and stress-free. Thank you, Megan!-

Megan was amazing!
I cannot thank Megan enough for helping to design and execute my daughter’s vision for her wedding day. Through many trials and tribulations, out of our and her control, Megan never wavered and confidently assured me everything would be ok. And boy was she right! All I had to do on the day of the wedding was show up and be BLOWN AWAY. She coordinated with our amazing vendors to create the most stunning space. It was PERFECT. Thank you Megan! Best Planners EVER!
Where do I begin?! Words can hardly express how incredible our experience working with Kylie with Vida Events was! Planning a wedding for 250 people at a private estate is not for the faint of heart but thank goodness we had Kylie. She helped us strategize each step of the process while listening to all of our needs and wants. She understood our vision to a tee and made it become reality in a way that was far better than we ever could have imagined. She helped us with scheme and source every single detail, down to elements we never knew would have thought about but now looking back, absolutely needed. She is great navigating vendors, families and guests, ensuring everyones voices are heard but the vision of the event remains true.
The whole planning was a breeze - I was never once was stressed because I knew we were in such good hands. The Absolute Best!!
Megan is absolutely AMAZING!! We hired her in April of 2022 and our wedding was set for June 2023 so we had plenty of time to plan. We live in San Diego and were planning our wedding in my hometown in Virginia, so we felt like a full service wedding planner was the way to go. Megan did all the leg work in finding vendors, meeting them at the venue for walk throughs and making sure everything was taken care of since I wasn’t able to be there. She was so responsive throughout the year when I would randomly send her ideas or questions. Somehow, she kept everything so organized and made sure we were on track. She listened to me and really took the time to understand what I was envisioning while offering ideas that made it even better than I could have imagined!
In March of 2023, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. We immediately decided to move the wedding to San Diego so that she could be there while going through chemo. I called Megan with the news and she didn’t even hesitate. She went into full gear with cancelling all of our Virginia vendors and started planning our new San Diego wedding with just two months to go. I still don’t know how we did it but I know that it wouldn’t have been possible without Megan!
My mother-in-law passed away in early April and I wasn’t able to assist Megan much in the way of wedding planning for that month. But she kept the ball rolling and kept me updated on everything.
Megan flew out to San Diego for our big day and ensured that the wedding was completely stress free for us. I truly didn’t have to lift a finger! She hadn’t even seen the property in real life (we rented an Airbnb and did a backyard wedding) but was able to make it absolutely perfect.
I can honestly say that out of everything we paid for to make our day perfect, hiring Megan was worth it more than anything else.

WOW! Where do I start? The moment I met Megan I knew she was the person that I had to have for my wedding. To know her is to love her! Megan is a professional who has years of wedding experience. My husband and I got married at The Breakers hotel in West Palm Beach. She traveled there and was such a key component to our wedding day. Both our families credit her for how relaxed the day was. Perfect, Beautiful, Destination, Indian Wedding
My wife and I had a perfect, beautiful destination wedding thanks to our wedding planner, Megan, and her team at Vida Events. No detail was left behind thanks to the tireless work Megan was able to put in. My wife and I were left in awe during our Sangeet and Wedding day.
Our wedding was a multi-day Indian event being held at Atlantis, Bahamas. We hired Megan about 8 months before our wedding date after my wife discovered the Vida Events page on Instagram. From day one of planning, Megan took full responsibility of dealing with all our vendors (food, design/flowers, make up, mehndi, DJ, officiant, photographer, etc.). Megan was very accommodating in scheduling video calls with us to discuss our budget and exactly how we wanted the wedding to be designed. Dealing with vendors, especially during a destination wedding in a foreign country, can be difficult to say the least. Megan was our trustworthy and experienced planner who helped navigate us through all of that and ultimately delivered the most beautiful wedding my wife and I could have dreamed of. Hiring Megan took away 90% of the stress in dealing with our wedding and I am already recommending her to all our friends and family. The Vida Events team was so wonderful to work with from the beginning! When I had initially booked them, I thought Megan would be the person I would be working with for my wedding given all the amazing reviews I saw. However after some follow ups and clarification, she informed me that I would be working with another member of her team that does month-of coordination/wedding planning. Megan connected me with Kylie on her team and assured me that she would do a phenomenal job, and she was totally right! Kylie's bubbly personality with a hint of assertiveness, flexibility, responsiveness, consistent communication and recommendations leading up to my wedding and day of truly made my wedding day perfect! My wedding planner, Cydney, was an amazing planner! My contract started one month before my wedding, and she gave me a lot of advice so I did my wedding so much better than I thought and expected.
On the day of the wedding, you really don't have any time to think about the timeline. However, Cydney was perfect at controlling everything, so I was really comfortable and I was focused on other things.
I was really worried about my wedding day, however it will be amazing and smooth if you have her!!

Truth be told, I have long admired Megan + Vida Events. Maria + Vida Events | Day of Coordination
Maria and her team at Vida Events are phenomenal. We utilized their day of coordinating which was perfect for our needs.
Maria assumed all vendor communication and logistics ~8 weeks from our big day. However, with booking and initial payment, we immediately began using a website called Aisleplanner that definitely helped to keep us on track throughout planning as far as a year out. Aisleplanner also allowed Maria to periodically check in on us to ensure nothing fell through the cracks. She reviewed and was familiar with all of vendor contracts, which is extremely necessary in making sure your day of timeline is perfect.
I’m a pretty organized person/bride, but Maria and her resources really helped us tighten things up and crossing the finish line. She is extremely professional, yet personable and I would recommend her and the Vida team to any bride I know. I’ve spoken to other brides who invested in a full wedding planner who were not even half as organized/structured as Vida with our day of coordination! I never felt as though we got “less than” service for day of coordinating. Maria gives her all to each and every client, despite your planning package!
The day of, I was not made aware of one single issue. Maria and her team were on it and made sure everything was taken care of so my husband and I could completely enjoy the day. She was calm, cool and collected which ultimately rubbed off on me. I’m an anxious person, but I was shockingly relaxed on our wedding day because I knew Maria had it under control.
If you’re considering Vida for day of coordinating or more, pull the trigger! You won’t regret it.-

5 Star experience with Megan/Vida Events
I am so happy that I chose Megan with Vida Events for my wedding in September 2022 at the Inn at Little Washington. Originally, I planned on doing everything myself because I had a venue coordinator and just didn't think I needed help --- fast forward a few months and we decided to move across the country and start new jobs just weeks before our planned wedding date! WOW, PANDAMONIUM! I realized I needed help with design and day of coordination. I interviewed various planners (not because i'm particularly picky, but more because so many people were booked for my date)-- BUT I just didn't connect with anyone else I interviewed. One person I nearly hired would take days to respond to my e-mails and she just didn't seem excited about my ideas. I was so happy Megan reached out to schedule a time to talk. After my first phone visit with her I immediately felt at ease. Working with Megan was like working with your sister or best friend--- she's so great! She's so fun, funny, calm, and encouraging, yet professional. She helped me realize and execute my vision, and I just couldn't believe how gorgeous everything turned out! It was so much more beautiful than I imagined! On the day of our wedding everything ran so smoothly! I felt calm knowing that I had someone on my team to turn to with any question or concern. During our planning journey Megan was so responsive to my every e-mail/text/phone call and she was essential in helping bridge the gaps between vendors. She followed up on things I forgot. If I could do anything differently it would be to hire her earlier and decide to add on her design services earlier. Best Vendor We Hired
When starting the wedding planning process, I like a lot of brides, thought I could do it myself…when I realized I needed assistance, Megan with Vida Events couldn't have been the more perfect choice. Megan started assisting our wedding 8 weeks out and took all of the stress away. She took time to understand my vision, was detailed oriented, managed vendors, answered every phone call/email, and most importantly, ensured our day ran as smoothly as humanly possible. When our photographer called the day before our wedding with COVID, Megan found us a new photographer within 2-3 hours and kept all nerves and stress at bay allowing myself, husband, and our families to enjoy the rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. The day of our wedding, Megan ensured all we felt was joy and happiness--not a single issue was presented to us and any "hiccups" went unknown until the next day when I asked Megan for a run down. Coordinated to perfection!
My (now) husband and I used Vida Events for our day of coordination and the day could not have gone smoother. In fact, we were AHEAD of schedule. We met with Cydney and some of our vendors about a month before the wedding day to start discussing the timeline and accompanying details. Cydney was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive to emails, provided guidance to both my husband and I when we weren't sure of what decision to make. She coordinated with other vendors to ensure the timeline on the day was flawless and it indeed was. Cydney and her colleague Joanne did not miss one beat on the day and truly made me feel so calm behind the scenes. Highly recommend Vida for wedding planning and coordination services. -

Worry-free and perfect wedding day
We booked Vida Events for day-of coordination since they were one of the preferred vendors by our venue. I sort of wished that I had just booked for partial or even full wedding planning, cause I sure didn’t know what I was getting into! Cydney Washington reached out to us about 2 months out from the wedding to learn about us and make sure we were on the right track to have everything together in time. She was so sweet and really great to work with! I appreciated her responsiveness in answering our questions and organizational skills to make sure she knew who was bringing what and when, where everything needed to go, and making sure everything got back to the right people at the end of the night. She also helped with ironing out the timeline with all the vendors, which I was just kind of winging based on the general timeline the venue had. Cydney really helped make sure all the loose ends were tied off and in place before the day of, and then made sure the whole day ran smoothly. We ended up being either on time or even running a few minutes early the whole day, which I was not expecting based on how complicated weddings are and all the people running around. I didn’t even feel rushed or stressed the whole day. We kind of just showed up and Cydney made sure we were where we needed to be throughout the day. Cydney was everything I was hoping for in a day-of coordinator! -

Megan is the absolute BEST!
Megan is absolutely fantastic to work with. If you are looking to hire a planner who truly cares about you and your happiness on your wedding day, it’s her. Given the pandemic and the entire world rescheduling weddings in 2020/2021 my husband and I had to move our wedding date a whole 13 months out, which was … well let’s say a bit stressful. With Megan’s help we were able to address this quickly and push our timeline out with little complications. Once we got closer to our 11.12.21 date Megan stepped in to help out in areas we didn’t even hire her for! I mean, come on when does that actually happen? Looking back, I wish we had hired full wedding planning services from Vida Events in the very beginning. You live and you learn!
SO Let’s be real, not every vendor is a peach to work with and we all know planning your own wedding isn’t all rainbows and butterflies. With that said, hiring a planner who makes your life easier is hands down the best decision - EVER. With Megan’s professionalism and expertise in the wedding space, our planning experience was everything we had hoped for and more.
Our Lynch wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. Megan took care of everything and made sure that I was super relaxed throughout the entire day. Are you thinking about hiring Megan as your wedding planner?
Trust me, you should!
Our wedding took place in a little village in Germany (where we come from and live). Megan understood the cultural differences and helped us set up the perfect romantic village wedding. We FaceTimed several times before the wedding took place. The online wedding planner, which I worked on with Megan, helped me a lot. Megan was always on time and whenever I had a problem or question I knew I could get a hold of her and she would take care of it in the most perfect way.
Megan is so easy to work with. She listens to you and keeps in mind what you want. She makes sure that the venue looks the way you want it to and that your day goes as smooth as possible! Megan knew exactly how to calm me down when I got super nervous, she was super friendly to all the guests and extremely helpful. Megan helped us out with a cake emergency and decorated our cake with gold flakes and flowers, her assistant Jordyn helped us with last minute table numbers (since I didn’t like the ones I got), they set up the candy bar, I could go on and on…..
Dear Megan, thank you so so so much for everything you did for us! We highly appreciate it and couldn’t have done it without you!!!

A Must Hire!
If you are getting married, Maria should be your first vendor to hire! We don’t think that words enough can describe how wonderful Maria and her team are, with them on our side, we knew we had absolutely nothing to worry about on our wedding day. She is responsive, attentive, professional and, most of all, kind.
We hired Maria as our second wedding planner when our first wedding planner became unavailable for our date. We were so anxious about finding a new wedding planner that would be able to step into the middle of our wedding planning seamlessly 6-months prior to our wedding date.
After our initial call with Maria, we knew we could stop searching for a new wedding coordinator because she was the entire package. She was friendly, welcoming, organized and most importantly, calm!
Shortly after we hired her, Maria gave us a checklist of tasks and the timeline on which we should complete them. Her website makes it seamless to keep track of all of the details for the wedding and she was consistent about making sure all the details were done. We received many compliments on the wedding timeline she provided us, our wedding party, and the vendors because it was so detailed and organized. Some of our vendors even highlighted that she had been such a pleasure to work with.
Each meeting with Maria was like catching up with an old friend. She paid close attention to what we told her, and she advocated for us when we were working with other vendors. We always felt that she had our best interests in mind and felt that this wedding was as important to her as it was to us.
For example, when we had a family tragedy happen in the middle of hiring a sought-after vendor, we asked Maria to take over the communications with the vendor without giving her much context. Maria immediately stepped in and was able to secure that vendor until we were mentally available to talk about wedding details again. She never dropped the ball on anything for our wedding and this is just one of many examples.
On wedding day, my dad lost his bowtie and suspenders and only mentioned it 1.5 hours prior to the ceremony…Maria and her team were on it! I don’t know when, but suddenly my dad had both ready to go that matched his tux perfectly. This is why it’s necessary to hire such a dependable wedding coordinator!!
We also hired Maria to plan / coordinate our rehearsal dinner. We got endless compliments about how well planned everything was and how she and the entire Vida Events team were always smiling and ready to help throughout the weekend. By the end of the weekend, everyone knew Maria as the happy woman walking around making sure everything was perfect! We’re already thinking of other events we can hire her for because we loved working with her so much.
As two brides, we were conscious of hiring LGBT-friendly vendors and we can vouch that the Vida Events was just that! We were always treated with kindness and excitement about our upcoming wedding.

Hiring Maria was one of the first things I did for my wedding; having seen her work at our wedding venue, I knew I had to have her! She helped us navigate and finalize catering, floor plans, timelines, and decor, which relieved a lot of stress. We had difficulty finding catering, and her recommendation was hands down the person we needed on our vendor team. Maria's communication was always on point, and other vendors raved about her to me, so we knew we made the right choice. She handled everything with such ease on our wedding day, even when curveballs came with timing. My superhero!
WOW! WOW! WOW! My wedding was better than I dreamed, literally. Vida Events exceeded all our expectations! Leading up to the wedding date, we had to postpone a few times due to Covid. During the process we interviewed a few planners to hopefully make things easier throughout the process. Although all were great individuals, no one was as down to earth as Maria. Maria is thorough, positive, and she understood what I envisioned immediately.
Regarding my vision, one of the things that I was incredibly nervous about was my budget, but she prevailed with what we had to work with. If I wanted a specific kind of lighting for the reception that was not in my budget, she helped me reflect and decide on what I “Wanted” and what I “Needed”. Her relationship with our vendors saved us so much time, money, and stress. For example, we signed the contract for the DJ, who was providing our lights, but I could not afford the additional lights that I really wanted. When we decided last minute to go with a band, understandably, we still had to fulfill our contract and pay the company providing the lights and DJ. Since the additional lights I wanted were not in our budget, Maria's connection with the vendor helped us to work out a deal and I got the additional lighting that I really wanted!
As far as transparency and communication goes, there were some random times throughout the day that I would have a panic attack (happened often), but I could count on her to be super responsive and comforting. As the wedding date approached closer and closer, we hit a financial wall and I thought I was going to cut out a large chunk of the budget. She was very reassuring, and her positive attitude and excitement was infectious and kept me from being overwhelmed.
One of my biggest fears was the comfort of our elderly guests. We know our family has high expectations, so it was amazing to hear that she made sure all of our elderly was comfortable and warm during the transition from the chilly outside cocktail hour.
My favorite note: It rained on our wedding day; Maria assured me repeatedly that everything was going to be okay. With the great work of her assistance and the vendors she brought on board, her plan B would have easily been my plan A, had I known how perfect this would be. Vida events stayed until the very end, till every piece of decor was loaded in the car and every guest had an Uber home!
I would like to emphasize that I wanted an intimate, beautiful, simple (but not too simple), elegant wedding and got all that and more. I could look back proudly and regret nothing because our wedding was so perfect. I will dream of this day forever. Thank you for making this possible Vida Events!-

If you want someone to be your champion throughout the process and day of, there is no one we would rather trust than Maria. She gets it done hunty (*snap snap snapz*). Maria instills confidence that any obstacles throughout the process will be communicated, recognized, and solved.
Maria and her team were a joy to work with not only leading up to our wedding but on the day of as well. We felt like we could consistently count on her to keep everything moving, take care of emails, and problem solve at the drop of rain (which showed up the day of). One thing we made sure of was to involve her as much in the process as possible so that she could know what we wanted, our style, and really understand us a a couple.

Look no further!
Look no further if you are searching for the most incredible wedding planners in the game! When I look back on all of the aspects of our wedding day that we spent money on (and there were a lot!!), hiring Vida was by far one of the best investments.
Megan is LOVELY as a human, and she also does her job exceptionally well. I was not looking forward to wedding planning! While I tend to be forgetful and generally unorganized in most aspects of my life, Megan kept me on track and saved all the important contracts, lists, etc. so that I could focus on the more enjoyable parts of putting together our weekend. When wedding day arrived, my partner and I knew that everything would go off without a hitch because Megan and her team were there. (AND IT DID! BEST DAY EVER!)
Megan is an expert in her field and is highly professional. She has the connections, and if by chance she doesn't, she goes out of her way to form a new relationship. I would trust her to get pretty much anything done!!

Wow! I cannot say enough words about this beautiful soul! Megan responded to me and came into my life in a time when I needed her 2 weeks prior. If you know me, you know my OCD and type A personality are hard to match and especially hard to please, Well, Vida Events exceeded my expectations and really blew me away with everything they have to offer and think of, even things I thought I thought of, I didn't, but not to worry, because Vida Events thought of it and more! Megan and her team set a plan, and executed it. We used the "day of" package, and I wish I would have booked sooner. Megan and her team made every ounce of my day run smoothly. I did not and still don't know if anything went wrong the day of, because I literally had no idea. I was not confronted with silly questions the day of, and truly felt like a bride. I booked 2 weeks out, but I think the package is good for 6 weeks prior, and I strongly recommend that time! She puts together a timeline for you, and messages and contacts your vendors, so everyone is on the same page. My wedding ran so smooth, and I truly could sit back and just enjoy being a bride. I was not stressed AT ALL the day of my wedding, and I constantly hear how brides were stressed, well not this one!! Megan and her team are beyond angels and I could not have pulled off my gorgeous, stress-free day without them. I wish I could rate Vida Events (and Maria Barrale) with 5+ stars!! I would not have survived the two postponements, wedding venue management shifts, and vendor communication amidst all of that, without her incredible support and management skills. She truly put me at such ease during the whole process and went above and beyond to help me make early and final decisions to really nail down how the day would best represent me and my husband. Not only was her professionalism fantastic, she was fun to work with and we now truly MISS each other after all our time spent together!! My bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, and other vendors, found her to be an absolute delight to work with. We chose Megan for our day-of coordinator way back in 2019, and we finalllllly had our wedding in 2021. She was worth every penny and then some. The day-of I was not stressed or worried about anything at all, and leading up to the day Megan was on top of everything. We had a quick planning process, and she was excellent at keeping us calm while also communicating clearly when decisions were timely. She really strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and personal connection. Cydney and Vida events were simply amazing to work with. Through constantly changing COVID regulations and procedures they were supportive and did everything they could to help us feel comfortable/navigate the changes while planning our wedding. Simply Amazing
There are just too many incredible things to say about Vida Events and the planner we worked with, Megan (she’s AH-MAZING!). She was an absolute JOY as a human being and this made it all the more special to not only have her guide us through our wedding planning journey, but to also be an integral part of our wedding day.
Everyone navigating the wedding industry deserves all of the props in the world for working through all of the stressors and anxieties that come with loss of expectations, frustrations, anger, reschedules, and cancellations in this pandemic-era, and Megan was no exception. Best Decision Ever!
Hiring Vida Events was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process! We worked directly with Megan, who did such an amazing job in making our day so special. We had to change our date and venue multiple times, and Megan helped orchestrate all of the changes we needed, including working directly with all the vendors, communicating changes, timeline management and even helping us get money back from our old vendors. Megan took the stress of organizing the wedding off of our backs and it was exactly what was needed at the time. From hearing us talk about our vision and wedding wishes, helping us with design, and accompanying us to meeting with various vendors, she was there for the whole experience. Megan is so down to earth, compassionate, organized and creative. We were so lucky to have had her throughout the process!
Leading up to the day of the wedding, we had a seamless transition from Megan to Cydney for the special day. Cydney is so upbeat, detail-oriented and adaptable, she was so crucial on our big day, as we did not have to worry about any transitions throughout the night, organizing all of the vendors, and even packed up everything we needed at the end of the night!
While it was not the original wedding we had envisioned, we are so grateful to have had Megan and Cydney help recreate our big day in a smaller setting. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, intimate and love-filled wedding. We are so happy to be able to call them our friends. -

I’ve been following Megan’s work at Vida Events for a while and really wanted her to be a part of my day. Little did I know, this wasn’t just a want, it was a necessity for my day to all come together. Working with Megan was the best experience. My wedding was not only exactly what I was hoping for, but better! I couldn’t have pulled it off without her. If you are wondering if you should get a wedding planner, the answer is yes, definitely! Don’t try and do a wedding without one. Ours was small and intimate, but still has so many moving parts. Get. A. Wedding. Planner.
Once your are convinced that you need a wedding planner, hire Vida Events. They are the BEST at what they do. They are professional, available, and work great with vendors. This was the most essential investment on my wedding day (except for marrying the love of my life, of course!).

COVID-19 tried to ruin our day, but Megan had us covered!
Vida Review
Megan is an absolute BOSS. We literally would not have had a wedding if it weren’t for her. Our “sweet, simple” wedding was - like everything else in 2020 - affected by COVID-19. When our area was first impacted, Megan was supportive and patient with us while we debated whether to re-schedule or cancel outright and go with a courthouse wedding. We decided to reschedule and are sooo glad we did. Megan handled all the vendor rescheduling and details for me that otherwise would have driven me nuts. Fast forward to day of, it was flawless - at least to me which I’m assuming is thanks to Megan. Then about 15 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start....RAIN - cause apparently a global pandemic wasn’t enough good luck for us. Megan had the entire set up changed so we could do the ceremony indoors then quickly turned the space around for the reception. Seriously, a God send. My parents are still raving about how impressive she was throughout that process. I couldn’t imagine going through all the craziness this last year without her. Vida events for the win!
I cannot even begin to discuss the gratitude that I have with Megan and Vida Events. Words will not do them justice. My wedding vision came to life because of Megan’s help. She constantly checked in with me throughout the planning process. She helped with timelines and seating charts and aesthetic questions. And that is just the tip of the iceberg!!
Megan busted her tail ALL weekend long to make sure my day went smoothly and without any issues, from the set-up, to the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony and reception. She even ran to Target the night before the wedding for me to pick up tea light candles that I had forgot to purchase (AT 11:00 AT NIGHT!!). I truly feel that my day would not have been as perfect as it was without the help of Megan.
She made sure the table arrangements were perfect. She met with all my vendors to keep my to-do list stress-free. She dismissed tables at dinner. She dismissed family and friends into cocktail hour. She fluffed my dress. She grabbed Alex and I drinks. She made sure that Alex and I were content AT ALL TIMES.
I truly believe that a lifelong friendship was created through this wedding planning relationship. I will scream Megan and the Vida Events name from the rooftops until the end of time! LIFESAVERS!!!!!! So thankful for their business!!!

Above and beyond helpful
This is long overdue but we cannot thank Vida Events enough for all the help they provided us throughout our wedding process. We were fortunate enough to work very closely with Megan and she was always available to help us with any planning questions or even just to talk. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but it was especially challenging in the middle of a pandemic. Vida Events made it as painless as possible and showed even more support during the crazy time. We did end up moving our date back one week but they were extremely helpful with helping contact all the vendors and helping with the adjustments that needed to be made.
The day of the wedding, things ran so naturally. The team was extremely organized and made sure everything was set up to meet the needs of the guests and the wedding party. Everything looked exactly like we imagined it and it was truly a perfect day. The whole team was extremely easy to get along with, they were professional and helped things run smoothly, made sure all the guests and wedding party was having a good time, and it was truly like you had a great friend there with you the whole time.

The best decision you can make!
One thing I knew going into the wedding planning process was that I was not going to be running things on the actual wedding day - having a day-of coordinator was non-negotiable. So it was a wonderful surprise when our venue (Tranquility Farm) recommended Vida Events, and their quote for "month-of" coordinating was so reasonable, and for two coordinators to boot! Megan and Maria had great advice on the big picture and on the little things we wanted to add to personalize the day. They were responsive in the months leading up to our big day, even though we technically paid only for the “month-of” package. Can’t recommend these ladies enough! -

We were one of those couples that refused help for our wedding, up until we realized that there is no way we can handle, nor would we want to handle, the small details and overall flow of our wedding day. We were given Vida Events as a recommendation from a friend. From our first conversation with Maria, she was stress-free and easy-going. With the month before the wedding, I was actually having anxiety (as any bride does) over whether or not Maria would/could remember everything I wanted. From where the décor goes, to order of bridal party – how could one person remember all this?! WELL SHE DID. The day was FLAWLESS and smooth, and I can’t thank Maria enough. My day was completely stress free, allowing me to truly live in the moment and not worry about my seating chart or where the flowers go. Just an example: she even found ways to re-purpose the bridal party bouquets throughout my reception tent and on my sweetheart table – something I hadn’t even thought of. Made our wedding day easy
Megan was exactly what we were looking for in a day-of coordinator. Megan was super responsive answering all of our questions during the planning process, and helped us think through some things where we had a less clear vision. But the day-of is when Megan really shined.
She has a great disposition for the job. She keeps a cool-head even when things haven’t gone perfectly to plan, and did a great job making sure everyone ended up where they needed to be. She also did a great job facilitating different vendors as they set up, and made sure that everyone in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception looked beautiful.
We were not worried about anything on the day of our wedding because we trusted that Megan had it under control! Both of our parents, who had done a lot to help get decorations and things in place, were impressed with Megan’s attention to detail and ability to find a moment to tidy up a display or straighten a boutonniere. I would fully recommend Megan to anyone looking for a day-of coordinator. -

Amazing - best wedding investment
My wedding day genuinely would not have gone as smooth as it did without Maria. She was so organized and helpful to me every second of my entire day, as well as the rehearsal. She is also such a fun person to have around, even when I had a bunch of people already around me! I definitely recommend Vida Events as they were competitively priced and extremely enjoyable to have as my day-of-coordinator.-
