Ok, I'll be honest. My wife and I are both "behind-the-scenes" people. I'm a theater technician, and she works in a vet lab, so neither of us are used to being in front of the camera. So the prospect of finding the right photographer for our wedding day seemed daunting. Thankfully for us, our wedding planner got us an interview with Victoria V. From our first interview/conversation with her, something seemed different. She had such energy and passion, and a fun attitude toward photography that was contagious. During both our engagement and wedding photography sessions, she made us both feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. And we couldn't be happier with both our photos and videos from our special day. Highly recommend! -

If you are looking for a photographer who feels like a lifelong friend and a total professional all in one, look no further than Victoria. After searching Google and feeling discouraged by other photographers, we clicked on Victoria’s site and immediately felt her warmth.
We eloped at the Jefferson Memorial in November 2025, and Victoria made the entire process stress-free. She was incredibly non-judgmental about our choice to elope and truly understood the intimate, private moment we wanted to create. On the day of, she was like a 'silent guest' capturing stunning, high-end shots without ever breaking the magic of our ceremony.
The quality of the photos is out of this world; honestly, we felt like we got a steal given the level of professionalism and talent she provides! She even went above and beyond by giving us a ride back to our hotel. Victoria doesn’t just take photos; she builds relationships. Do yourself a favor and book her immediately! -

You will regret not hiring Victoria
Victoria is an amazing photographer. We eloped in a museum in D.C., and her experience made us feel completely comfortable, even in a very public space. Victoria’s personality is warm yet energetic which is perfect for what can be an exciting but stressful day.
Our photos turned out beautifully. I asked for creative shots, and she exceeded every expectation. We are so grateful to have had Victoria capture our perfect day and be a part of it every step of the way. -

Couple pictures
This year was the first time I’ve ever gotten professional photos done, and there isn’t another person I would’ve went with for that first time. Victoria is not only one of the best humans I have ever met, but her energy is infectious. She has a way with connecting with people to almost make you forget you’re having pictures taken. We laughed so hard I cried more than once during our session and that’s exactly what I needed to relax and get some photos with my (at that time boyfriend) that I will treasure for the rest of my life. If you are looking for a photographer that is the perfect mix of professional, outgoing, open to exploring, and dang good at their job, I highly suggest Victoria, I promise you will not be disappointed. -

I cannot recommend Victoria enough! I had been following her on Instagram for quite some time now via a mutual friend, and reached out to her at the last minute about the potential of a lifestyle session. She responded almost immediately and within a week, we were able to coordinate everything - even right before the holidays. She returned our photos in a week after taking them and we are FLOORED with her work. She's hilarious, easy-going, and having her around feels like reconnecting with an old friend. Our experience was everything we had hoped for and more. 10/10! -

My husband and I stumbled across Victoria’s profile after a long search of DMV photographers - having a small-ish but special wedding, we really wanted someone whose pictures captured vibrant color and candid joy. We’re also an international couple, so having someone who could easily navigate a lot of different guests was essential. In short, we could not have made a better choice in Victoria. The words that come most to mind are professional, prompt, and personable. She’s also so funny and exudes joy. She really took the time to meet us where we were at and get to know our needs and personalities. I really loved how thoughtful she was - she thinks through all the details and comes mega prepared. My husband most loved her honesty/efficiency - on a wedding day, time is so precious, and Victoria was always upfront about which spots would have the best lighting or which ideas would most work. On our actual day, she seamlessly worked her magic and wove through our crowd - everyone in our group raved about her. But best of all, our absolutely gorgeous pictures help preserve the memory of our special day that zoomed by. What strikes me most about our pictures is how many she caught of us laughing completely unprompted - some of my absolute favorites. And a candid picture of my husband and I tenderly comparing rings while my elderly grandfather looked on is something I will treasure for the rest of my life. We were lucky to have Victoria and heartily recommend her. -

Victoria was the ROCK STAR vendor of our wedding. I even hate to say vendor, because by the of the process, she felt more like our friend. I was drawn to her photos immediately because they felt so vibrant and alive! They weren't washed out-- they weren't oversaturated. They looked real and beautiful in a way I struggled to find with other photographers. We booked her even though we lived in Texas-- the trip was worth it.
Our engagement photos at the Shenandoah mountains are STUNNING. I get compliments all the time on them because people are so shocked at both the location and at us-- we are super shy-- not the type our friends expect to have these dramatic, gorgeous pictures.
Our wedding was perfection and Victoria played a huge role in that. She was early, she was our hype-woman. She made us laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera and GIRL SHE WAS FAST. We got through portraits so fast that my brother said -- if these come out you are going to be the world's greatest wedding photographer. And you know what? They were flawless-- 6 kids under 8 all looking in the right direction and smiling. HOW DO YOU DO THIS MAGIC VICTORIA?
We had so much fun. Victoria put my husband and I at ease. She was professional, but fun. And she delivered our photos ONE week after the wedding. Thousands of beautiful photos all edited and perfect-- one week later! I was bracing myself to wait 6-8 weeks at least!
Booking Victoria was the best thing we did for our wedding-- besides picking out the right groom. :) I'd do it again and again. -

Great experience with Victoria!
Victoria was a great choice to capture our wedding! Of all the photographers we talked to before booking, she was by far the one we got the best vibe from. She's very easy to talk to and was full of great ideas. Our engagement session was so fun and she was super flexible when the weather didn't cooperate and we had to push the session back a week. The photos were all so great we had a very tough time deciding which to use for our save the dates! On our wedding day, she arrived early, scouted a great location for our first look, and kept everyone smiling and laughing all day. The sunset portraits especially came out AMAZING! -

We’re so happy we connected with Victoria; she is fabulous. I cannot say my husband and I are naturals in front of the camera, but Victoria always made us feel comfortable and reminded us to have fun. Victoria did the photos for our engagement and our wedding. She is so easy to work with and very responsive. For our engagement shoot, she was the brains of the operation, which had three scenic locations. For the wedding, she blended right in with the party. She was extremely fast; we had our engagement photos within 2 weeks and our wedding photos within a month. And if that wasn’t enough, her editing skills are top notch. We LOVE our photos!!! Hire Victoria, you won’t regret it. -

Absolutely amazing!
I’ve known Victoria for several years and knew that she was the only one I would want to photograph my wedding! She is the absolute best to work with! She is so sweet and pays attention to every detail, she makes everyone’s poses look very natural and makes you feel like a beautiful bride and does great with relaxing any nerves you may have. Not only did she take pictures during the big day but she helped before hand with giving me lists of things I didn’t even think or and advice that helped so much. She got the pictures back to me less than a month after the wedding. I highly recommend her and any pictures I want in the future I will go to her. -

Highly recommend!
Victoria is a must have for any event that you want photographed. Victoria did our engagement session and our wedding day and I am so thankful that we found her. The moment we spoke with her on the phone during the consultation we knew she would be such a good addition to our vendor list, however she proved to be the best spender we had at our wedding. Right off the bat Victoria really listen to what we wanted she asked questions and gave us scenarios to really get a better understanding of what we wanted our big day to look like. As the planning process went on she gave us advice end guidance and really calmed our nerves. The day of our wedding Victoria did everything right she showed up on time dressed professionally checked in with everyone understood what was going on (make up and hair we’re pretty behind) she stayed calm and went off and took pictures of the groom and groomsmen and detail pictures helped the other vendors prepare for the day. Wherever she was needed she helped out. We are so thankful that Victoria got to share our day with us! And we just got our pictures back a couple weeks ago they are absolutely stunning! -

Our wedding planner recommended Victoria and her team based on her many years leveraging her services (including our wedding planner's own wedding). Victoria did a great job staying in constant contact with us up to the date and during the day keeping things lively. She brought energy to crowd but wasn't "in the way" like some photography can me. We preference was to focus more on the candid shots opposed to the formal and she did more then deliver. The sunset shots were out of this world. -

Victoria did the photos for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah in October. As you can imagine, given it was during the pandemic, it was a unique time for all of us. Victoria was absolutely amazing! Victoria is awesome! She has such a great eye and I am in love with our wedding photos. She was very punctual, had all the details ironed out way ahead of time and made the day of the wedding so stress free. She was patient with all the small children we had in our wedding and even bonded with them before the ceremony so they were used to her and felt comfortable. It was so comfortable having her around and she definitely knows what she is doing! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer especially for your special day!!! -

Seriously she was so much fun to work with. So laid back and helpful with such a stressful day.
My friends and family loved her and any photo someone asked for she was all over it.
She figured out ways to get outdoor shots around random rainstorms, somehow found a rainbow, and managed to make me look stunning while so stressed out!

Victoria was a pleasure to work with, she adapted easily to our religious requirements for our ceremony and with her personality, she was part of the family by the end of the night. I never did a photoshoot before, she made it so easy and the pictures came out extremely beautiful! I specifically picked Victoria because her pictures looked candid (I look/feel awkward when posing for pictures) and her amazing eye for beauty, she did not disappoint! I have so many beautiful pictures of our special day, and I am 110% happy that I found her!! -

Victoria was very sweet, understanding, and patient! We wanted our wedding to be scenic and Victoria recommended and pretty much planned out the entire location. On the day of the wedding we had no service and no directions and ended up being late. However, she was very patient and waited hours after the scheduled time to do the photoshoot. She was very understanding and also went above and beyond to record our entire ceremony. Our photos turned out great, she captured some lovely moments. I would highly recommend her for your photography needs. Also LGBT friendly! -

I loved working with Victoria. I am new to the Fredericksburg area so I tried to find a suitable engagement photographer through Yelp and Thumbtack. Victoria was the most responsive, best priced and I loved her positive attitude and flexibility to our requests. Not knowing the area well, I deferred to her expertise on choosing a location. I am ecstatic with the end results! She chose a location that had water, green forestry and unique road pictures. She ended up taking us to two locations when one was difficult to reach because of a road closure. Victoria has a great spirit and easy incredibly easy to work with; she was also receptive to our own ideas. We wanted to include our dog in our photos and that was no problem at all-the photos of him turned out great! When we locked our keys in our car (with it running and our dog inside), Victoria kindly let us wait in our car. The air conditioning and pleasant conversation was wonderful. Highly recommend! -

Outstanding!
Victoria was incredible to work with. She made everything so easy working with our schedule and giving her guidance with invites and save the dates. She worked so well keeping everyone smiling, including the kids and my grandmother who almost refuses to look directly at a camera.
She made our engagement shoot feel natural and fun. She took gorgeous pictures of our day, she made me feel beautiful and knew exactly what to do to get the pictures everyone dreams of.
I truly cannot thank her enough for everything she did. It was truly a wonderful experience. -

Down to Earth, Patient, and Amazing Photographer
Having Victoria as our wedding photographer was the best decision. Ruben and I have big families, so it was important for us to make sure our family members were included in the pictures. Victoria was very patient, communicated well with us and our families, and I love her fun personality! We didn't feel stressed at all, things went smoothly. I saw my wedding photos a few days ago and I loved every picture. My husband and I showed our family the wedding photos and they also loved every picture. Our families told us they really liked our photographer, they complimented saying she was very patient, professional and very nice. We give Victoria 5 stars! -

Victoria is amazing! We were first introduced to her in 2017 when we were looking for photographers to shoot our wedding. After our initial meet and greet, my now husband and I knew immediately that we wanted her to take our pictures. She ended up shooting our engagement photos and wedding photos which I cannot rave about enough. We absolutely LOVED them all and we get compliments on our pictures still to this day. It's been just about a year now since we got married and my husband and I are expecting our first child :) We knew we wanted maternity pictures done and of course we knew just the person to call, Victoria. Not only was our shoot comfortable and the least bit stressful but Victoria knew just the right pictures to capture. We actually have a few that replicate some of our wedding photos! I would highly recommend her to anyone and we cannot wait to have her shoot our newborn baby photos when our little guy arrives. Thank you again Victoria. -

Let me start off by saying.. I think I found a new best friend ;). Victoria is the most amazing photographer and not only that but an amazing person! From the second I met her I knew that we would get along so good! It was like I had known her my whole life! We had facetimed 2 times before the wedding since we were getting married out of state and both times her son was there and hes ADORABLE. She was so easy going and receptive, my guests all complimented about her style and how she was so warming and welcoming and made sure to get photos of everyone. She shared stories that made us laugh and helped us to understand that she is down for anything! She even risked her life (haha) by climbing on a questionably stable kayak rack for the perfect pictures! Her pricing is fair and reasonable, I would have paid more actually knowing now how amazing she really is. I am happy, my new husband is happy, and most of all the guests were thrilled. I am STILL getting compliments on her work and personality. -
