Fantastic experience with Vibrant Table

Vibrant Table provided the most incredible catering for our wedding! From start to finish, their team was professional, attentive, and truly passionate about delivering an unforgettable dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and raved about by all of our guests. Every dish was crafted with care, and the flavors were out of this world! Many guests told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. They accommodated all dietary needs seamlessly and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The service was excellent and very attentive. Cam was our coordinator and really fantastic to work with. She thought of every detail and was very helpful in working with our budget. We highly recommend Vibrant Table for your wedding or event!

Delicious start to finish

We had to plan an event in Portland remotely and found Vibrant Table through our venue (Black Door PDX - also highly recommend). They were very responsive, even though the middle of the pandemic, and helped us to pick a menu for our event remotely. They delivered the food on time with a beautiful setup. Everything from the meat skewers to the blueberry dessert was cooked perfectly and presented well. Their staff was professional in person as well as via e-mails. High recommend them for any event you are hosting.

Delicious Food and Great Service

Auriana, Sam, and the Vibrant Table Catering team at The Loft were excellent! The food was delicious and the VT Catering team was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. Even little questions were quickly answered with clear details. On our wedding day the servers and bartenders were very professional and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend them for your next event!

Go with VT and never look back!

Working with VT was a joy. Colleen and Josh are detail-oriented, trustworthy, and responsive. We had a large wedding - 270 people - and the entire event went off without a hitch. We had hors d'euvres passed around during a cocktail hour and a buffet dinner. We also had a second caterer provide some food, and although there is a fee per guest to do this, in hindsight it was well worth it; VT took care of all the coordination with them, and the food from both caterers was excellent. VT has some amazing food, and our guests were raving about the raspberry-braised pork - so good!

While designing the details of the wedding ceremony and reception with them, we genuinely felt that they were on our side, helping us when we needed to cut costs, and coming up with new ideas when we asked for them. During stressful or busy times, they were quick, detailed, and positive in their responses which made the process way more enjoyable We'd recommend Colleen and her team at Vibrant Table to anyone looking for an outstanding caterer to partner with.

I used VT for my wedding last month and they were so great to work with. They were professional, fun, had great ideas, and incredibly responsive. The food and drinks were delicious, we received tons of compliments from our guests. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding at a location that required us to choose from a select list of vendors for catering. Vibrant Table was one of those vendors and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised at their service. From start to finish their event planners were so friendly, open and eager to help with planning. The food was PHENOMENAL. We had the chicken marsala and pork as our entrees and everyone loved it! The NW salad was fantastic, the seasonal veggies were amazing. Everything was good. The staff was also awesome. From our planner, to the day of staff, everyone was so happy to be there and eager to please. We had a bar set up and the bartender was an absolute hoot. All our guests had great things to say about the staff. I really truly appreciate that as food is very important to us :D I know it can make or break and experience. I had people chasing me down with food and drinks all night to make sure I had something during such a hectic day. Thank you guys so much!

We used Vibrant Table for our wedding at Lewis & Clark and we could not have asked for a better team. Colleen and the entire crew made our wedding seamless. The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and responsive, and the set up was perfect. We didn't have to worry about a thing. VT also worked with us to arrange for late-night Poplandia popcorn snacks which was a big hit. I cannot recommend them enough for their professionalism, friendliness, and delicious food and beverage options. They are worth every penny.

Vibrant Table handled the food and flowers for our April 2018 wedding at Castaway. Kathryn and Colleen were great as we laid out the menu and were responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. Most importantly, the food was delicious and everything ran well day-of.

Madeline helped us find our vision with flowers and we ended up with the most beautiful chuppah and greenery/lighting that was exactly what we were looking for.

We really enjoyed working with Vibrant Table and appreciated having a one-stop shop for food and decor. Their excellent taste showed through our wedding and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

I absolutely loved working with the VT group for my wedding at the Exchange Ballroom. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We did a Buffet that included pork ribs, salmon, baked beans, seasonal vegetables and potato salad. Everyone was obsessed. Meg and Meghan helped me plan everything and were super easy to work with. They made helpful suggestions the entire time and were not judgmental at all when I decided not to do something that was out of my budget. I would hire them again in a heart beat for any event I was having in Portland.

The food was incredible and worth every penny! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was at our wedding. VT was very responsive to any questions that my husband and I had and provide an outstanding quality of service. They have an extensive list of things that you can bundle. We went through them for our rentals at the event but they also have a florist! Would definitely recommend!

We held our wedding at Lan Su Chinese Garden, and worked with Vibrant Table for our catering, as well as for party rentals, decor, and flowers. We could not be happier with the service they gave us, and honestly wish we could do it again!

From the beginning, our contact, Miranda, was helpful, easy to reach and easy to communicate with, and worked with us at our pace to make decisions and finalize plans. She was patient, flexible, and supported us in making the decisions we wanted to, and also had great suggestions for things we might not have thought of. The VT team on the day of the wedding was on-point and so professional. We had one small unexpected turn of events, and their team worked hard to turn it around and not correct the issue, but make it significantly better, and we appreciated that effort and acknowledgement. The food was just outstanding; my uncle the chef apparently ordered three servings of bread to soak up every last drop and morsel of dinner.

We are so happy with the service we received and how everything turned out, we really do wish we could do it again. Thank you Miranda and everyone at Vibrant Table!

Due to some things beyond our control we were left scrambling with out a wedding planner or caterer... In stepped Kathryn and Colleen of Vibrant Table and our worries were put at ease. The entire process with them was wonderful! A supportive team, willing to listen and work with you to find solutions, a catering team that delivers a truly exceptional menu and service and that extra personal touch and availability that is required on a day as big as your wedding day. We are truly grateful they stepped up to the plate! *wedding planning is not usually offered by Vibrant Table but because we lost our wedding planner at such short notice Vibrant Table did us a huge favor by helping out.

Vibrant Table, headed up by Kurt Beadell, made our entire experience from planning to ceremony and reception nothing short of spectacular! We pretty much think Kurt Beadell is a creative genius from his vision of food, decor, flowers, lay out, etc. to also logistics and practicality. We rented his space at The Eastside Exchange, both the Cascade Rooftop for my daughter's ceremony and the The Exchange Ballroom for the reception. It is a very special place that is both urban and unique. Many people from the east coast were attending and we really wanted to find something that exemplified Portland. It was perfect!

Kurt understood what my daughter and I were looking for in planning her wedding meaning it wasn't overdone but was magnificent and lovely, in a dramatic yet understated way! His team was nothing short of perfection as well: The chuppah for the ceremony was breathtaking. Decorated simply with grapevines and punctuated with flowers in our color scheme, Vibrant Table's florist Page also understood the overall feeling we were trying to achieve. My daughter and her husband are both in the food industry and cared a lot about what was being served and the quality of the food. I can't tell you how many people commented on the food and said it was certainly the best wedding food they had ever eaten!

Kurt made the planning a lot of fun as he is a great guy and lead me through the motions like the pro he is. Again, we think the whole team hung the moon, Hannah who was as patient as a saint with me and everyone else we came in contact with. Cannot say enough about the entire experience and truly my daughter's wedding night was something out of a fairy tale!

Vibrant Table was one of our favorite wedding vendors. Of all of the folks who helped with the wedding, I would say they were the true partner in putting it together. Always willing to be creative to figure out how we might be able to realize our vision. And once they got the feel for that vision, thoughtful themselves in coming up with neat touches. They stayed flexible the whole way and we were able to customize special pass hors d'oeuvres based on something we had on our first date, have our table names inside of fortune cookies, set up action stations throughout the room..... you get the idea. In addition, they went above and beyond and even helped with things like figuring out best way to do the roundtrip busing. The food was excellent, the staff was wonderful and friendly, and the wedding was just about perfect and much of the credit goes to the help that Hannah and Kurt provided.

One of my bridesmaids recommended Vibrant Table after she used it for her wedding and now I see why. Vibrant Table has a great reputation for a reason, we got wonderful service, fantastic options and our guests left raving about the food. Kathryn & Colleen were a breeze to work with, both super responsive and very flexible with us as we changed our minds and added a late night snack close to the wedding (which was delicious Poplandia popcorn!) Vibrant Table recently catered my husband's and my PDX wedding reception at Opal 28 and they did an outstanding job! Kathy is a dream to work with and was extremely responsive and flexible throughout the entire process, quickly suggesting helpful edits to my original list of food items to keep the cost at our planned budget. The night of our event went off without a hitch and Casey and his crew arrived early and were fantastic, warm and welcoming to everyone throughout the night. Our reception occurred a year after my husband and I were married, so we wanted more of a party, not a formal sit down dinner. Our menu consisted of bacon-wrapped sweet potato bites, kobe beef sliders, truffle mac & cheese, yakitori chicken skewers, lamb meatballs, vegetarian fresh wrap salad rolls with peanut sauce, and a gorgeous roasted and/or marinated vegetable platter with dips. Some of the hors d'oeuvres were plated, passed food by Casey and team, some were standing appetizers that guests could serve themselves. The food presentation was beautiful, food itself delicious, and my guests raved about all of it. Thank you again, Kathy, Casey, and the whole wonderful crew at Vibrant Table. Don't hesitate to use them for your next catered event!

I had my New Years Eve wedding at Eastside Exchange and the event was catered by Vibrant Tables. I am still getting compliments from friends and family on how amazing the food was and that it was the "the best wedding food ever!"
Now the venue is another story. Food was great venue was PERFECT! We rented the ballroom and the rooftop deck. With the amazing sound of music coming from the in house sound system, the beautiful lighting that complimented all the candles, the view of the city from the massive amounts of windows to the chiavari chairs. The vision my husband and I had for our wedding was executed to perfection with not one missed step. This is all due to the amazing people we had the pleasue of working with. Kyle and Meg will share thier knowledge and expertise from the day you meet them to the end of the Big Day. From setting the dessert table to answering multiple emails in one day to answer all our questions. We could not of done it without them and we would not be able to look back on our wedding day and honestly feel that it was perfect.

Karen Rich made my wedding the absolute best day ever. She took care of everything, and empowered her staff members to carry out all of my wishes on the big day so that I had nothing to do! When selecting a catering vendor, I was looking for a team that could do it all and make me, my husband, and my guests feel excited, eager to eat and drink, and celebrate. I also wanted to select fewer vendors so that there were only a few point people to work with. It was truly key because I also got to work with Page Winograd at Vibrant Flowers (a subsidiary of VT), and that was an all-star recommendation from Karen! Money SO well spent.

There really are no words to expressed how pleased we are Vibrant Table catering. Kathy Sobotka was so accommodating and responsive. The few months leading up to the wedding we had multiple meetings to iron out each detail. Kathy was very receptive to each changes and suggestions we made and offered her experienced perspective to our various challenges. The food the day of the wedding was perfection! Our guests went went crazy over the food, even now, six months after the wedding, people are still commenting on how good the food was! It was incredible and I will definitely consider them for future parties and events I will have.

I've already recommended them to a friend of mine getting married this summer!

Vibrant Table does flowers too. I shopped other florist to find them to be very helpful and thrilled to be working with an older Gay couple. They were the most organized, best priced, and friendliest. The did a completely modern floral arrangements for us. I requested no carnations, no roses, and no snap dragons. Instead, I got orchids, succulents, calla lilies, and a host of unique materials. Every table arrangement was different and interesting. My mother loved them, and he's had been in the floral industry for years. I will be using them for my Christmas party.

My husband and I recently got married in Hawaii, and had a reception at a winery in Forest Grove. Vibrant Table did an outstanding job. Not only was the food delicious, and the staff highly professional and friendly, but Kathryn, my contact, was outstanding. She was highly organized and communicative, and handled everything. I didn't need to worry about anything. Her attention to detail was in stark contrast to the wedding planner we used in Hawaii. I highly recommend Vibrant Table.

We just had our daughter's wedding reception at the Treasury Ballroom and catered by Vibrant Table. We could not be more pleased with catering services provided by Vibrant Table. The food was awesome and we received many compliments from the guests. We worked with Aurianna during the planning process and she was very knowledgeable, responsive and great to work with. VT allowed us to customize the menu to get exactly what we wanted. The staff was very courteous and helpful in the clean-up! We also contracted with Vibrant Flowers for the floral and they did an awesome job as well.

The first thing that everyone talked about the day after my wedding was how amazing the food was! Vibrant table came highly recommended, so i knew it would be good and it truly was. I requested a garnish for my champagne cocktail at the last min, and they made it happen. I wanted my wedding to be like attending an high end restaurant and that is what they made it seem like!! Our daughter just had her combined Christian and Hindu wedding ceremonies and reception at the Portland Art Museum this past weekend. Vibrant did the catering, decor, and flowers and did an absolutely AMAZING job! They were able to create settings that were absolutely magical...from the simplicity of the Christian ceremony that looked elegant with white drapery and pops of color from beautiful flower arrangements...to a mandap that absolutely took our breath away due to the rich blend of colors, lighting, and flowers that made the mandap glow...to the reception with shimmery colored table cloths, lighting, and gorgeous floral table arrangements. Karen Rich from Vibrant was excellent! She provided great service, advice, consistently responded to emails quickly, and was always on top of what was happening. She and her staff helped transform our dreams into reality by ensuring that all details were taken care of according to plans. We received so many compliments from guests, both Indian and non-Indian, that the food, which was a combination of Indian and American cuisine, was "fabulous" and the entire event was "so amazing". They were able to provide a high level of quality, responsiveness, and creativity that made our wedding such a huge success.

Vibrant Table was great!! The food was amazing!!!!!! I can't stress enough how good the food was. I have been to weddings that the food has been not so good and it is really unfortunate when that happens but the food that they put out is AMAZING!! They were so helpful with the reception and everything went very smooth, they were great!

Vibrant Table is spendy, but if great food and quality service is high on your priority list (higher than photography or venue), then they are the best in the business! Their staff was just amazing... so genuinely kind and friendly. The food is also FANTASTIC! For us, the tasting didn't do the day-of food justice (way better at the wedding than at the tasting), even though the food at the tasting was still delicious. Our coordinator was also great, super flexible and very personable. I would definitely recommend them!

I didn't plan to spend as much money on catering when we initially set out planning my daughters wedding, but let me tell you I don't regret it one bit! Vibrant Table is worth the money. The planning was so easy with Auriana. She remembered every little detail of our conversations and always undated the contract with them and would send me a copy. Her suggestions were excellent and I totally trusted her opinions. She always responded quickly to emails and picked up the phone every time I called her the last week or so before the wedding when I was sick of emailing so much.
The food was delicious, and I received so, so many compliments from the guest on the food and the wonderful service! So glad Vibrant Table was the exclusive caterer at the time I booked with Zenith, or I may have gone with someone less expensive. You definitely get what you pay for with Vibrant Table!! They're awesome!

Vibrant Table provided our flowers for the wedding day. They were absolutely beautiful! It was great to see my vision put together. The florist understood my vision and what I wanted and produced gorgeous bouquets!

I don't have anything bad to say about Vibrant Table, it was all SPECTACULAR. The food is amazing, it all came out on time, perfect temperature, nothing was dry or undercooked. Not only that, but Auriana, Page and Matt were a great source for questions of all types, even those not regarding catering or flowers. And the FLOWERS! They were even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! I believe that between my handmade decorations, and Page's flowers the feel and ambiance of our wedding was a complete success. I love everything Page and Auriana/Matt did for our wedding. Oh and Clay was FANTASTIC. He was on top of everything and kept everyone super happy!

I cannot count how many of our wedding guests came up to us during and weeks after the wedding saying how wonderful the food was! They said it was the best wedding food they have ever had and I believe it! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was above and beyond all of my expectations. My groom and I took a private moment after the ceremony and since we were missing the yummy food and drinks at cocktail hour, they brought them to us! For dinner they also brought custom plates of food to us so we for sure got to eat! They checked on us periodically through out the night to make sure we had everything we needed.
Our venue had Vibrant Table as an exclusive caterer so we did a lot of coordinating through VT and they were amazing. They responded to my emails so promptly, met all of my requests and needs, wonderful menu tasting, two cake tastings, and even did a walk through of the venue where we took two hours going through our whole proposal and floor plans fine tuning every little detail. Every single person I worked with at VT was amazing and your wedding or event will be outrageous if you hire them! They may be a little pricey but are soooo worth every penny!

We used Vibrant Table for our wedding catering and floral at the Gerding Theater. They were fantastic to work with! Page did a fantastic job with our floral (LOVED my bouquet, amazing!!) and she took my vision and ran with it. David was so helpful and accommodating too - super nice, professional and detailed.

I think really, the highest point of their service is the quality of the food. Our guests were so impressed with the meal. It was truly, truly delicious. I have never had spectacular buffet-style food and this meal was phenomenal. Worth every penny.

NO COMPLAINTS!!! Vibrant table basically did everything-- the food, the sound system, the tables, linens, flowers, and cake! Everyone we worked with bent over backwards to ensure we had an unforgettable time. I can't say enough nice things about them!

A friend was married in Dundee a couple months ago and Vibrant table did the food and flowers and they were absolutely amazing! I can't tell you how beautiful the presentation of the food was- it really was almost breathtaking. As for how it tasted- mouth watering. It really was so good- people kept commenting all night about the food and how good it was. They set up some decor and lights outside on the deck, too, and it was just the right touch or ambiance, very romantic. The flowers were phenomenal- my friend has a bit of a quirky style, and the flowers fit her to a T while being very classy. It was so neat how they used such different plants and flowers together to make such beautiful things- I'd never seen arrangements like that at a wedding and it was just gorgeous.

When I booked my ceremony/reception venue they were working exclusively with Vibrant Table. Being from Salem, we were not that familiar with VT - but were extremely pleased from the first moment we met with our event coordinator. I had been informed by a friend (& local wedding planner) to request a specific coordinator, Auriana Albree, and have to say that she was fantastic from the very beginning. We were able to sit down with her in the VT space and really discuss how we wanted our entire event to play out. She helped us with the ceremony set up/design, with the timeline for the entire evening, and with deciding on our food and overall feel for the reception.
The contact aspect was phenomenal. VT, and Auriana specifically, was great at responding to any questions or minor change that was made. I'd send off a quick change of seating or table numbers - and Auriana would respond within half an hour and would include an updated layout(both ceremony & reception) for me.
Our day of site manager, Kevin, was great also. He worked great with my day of coordinator and ensured that all issues were handled without me ever knowing! The service of the entire staff was wonderful; they were prompt, stayed on our timeline, ensured that the food never was empty, and most of all - they were professional & kind to our guests.
Probably the most significant experience I had with VT & their kindness/professionalism actually took place after my event. In the hustle & bustle of the night, I had forgotten my bouquet on the head table. On my bouquet was my grandmother's necklace. Upon returning home from my honeymoon I got in contact with VT to try & locate the bouquet & necklace. They were so diligent about checking with all the staff that worked our event - and eventually tracked down someone who had taken the bouquet home w/o realizing the necklace was attached. They were able to return my necklace to me and were so incredibly helpful and kind thru out.
Vibrant Table will forever get my songs of praise -- I'm still getting compliments on how nice the entire evening was & I really thank Vibrant Table & Auriana for helping us create such a wonderful evening for us, our family & our friends!

Vibrant Table provided the catering and flowers for my wedding and arranged for the rentals and cake via their contacts for me. They made planning a Portland, OR wedding from Europe so much easier. They were easy to work with and had great ideas and were able to create the most beautiful wedding setting for us. The flowers were incredible, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, professional and thoughtful. We highly recommend them!

I can not say enough awesome things about VT. Their floral designer Page Bender is the best in Portland -BY FAR! She really adds to the the VT team. I came in to her with a load of my own ideas and she made everyone of them a reality. I even asked for a composite rose with feathers and she did a breath taking job. My wedding was so memorable becasue she NAILED THE FLORAL! Just nailed it. The blooms were bigger and better then i could have ever asked for. I will never forget my practially perfect planning experience with her at the VT location as well as her cost saving ideas to make my day more special.

When my then-fiance and I were planning our wedding, we knew that one of the most important things to have at our wedding was good food. And sure enough, over one year since our wedding, people are still talking about the food we had. From the appetizers of mint-pesto lambchops to the steak bites with bleu cheese, and greek feta skewers to the elaborate plated dinner of chicken stuffed with gorgonzola and prosciutto with winter vegetables to the amazing desserts of chocolate mousse, shortbread cookies, and panna cotta. It was all amazing. The staff were so responsive during the ceremony and so helpful during the planning process. We were so satisfied with the food and service that we've used their catering services for other events and will continue to do so in the future.

We used Vibrant Table as the florist for our wedding and were thrilled with the results. I came to their florist with ideas and pictures of the look that I wanted. She was professional, artistic, and full of great ideas. Some of the flowers I wanted were either out of season or would have been to expensive for our budget. She offered wonderful suggestions of alternatives so that I could get what I wanted. All of the arrangements and bridal party flowers were fabulous and perfect for our wedding. I would use VT or suggest them to anyone else in a heartbeat.

I cannot say enough great things about Vibrant Table! The quality of food and service are top notch and being in the wedding biz I've experienced a wide variety of caterers. Vibrant Table was one of the reasons we selected the venue we did for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! We worked with Karen Rich throughout the planning process and Matt Brodeur was our Event Manager on our big day and both went above and beyond to ensure every detail was attended to and made perfect for us. Their staff worked tirelessly to ensure all of the setup was completed on time and since our ceremony and reception were in the same room, they had to do a partial room change which was both efficient and smooth. They not only made sure my husband and I were well taken care of but that each of our guests had a memorable experience as well, and three months later people are still telling us that ours was the best wedding they've ever been to and that the food was incredible! I would HIGHLY recommend Vibrant Table to any couple who has the opportunity to bring them into their wedding venue, and fortunately they are exclusive at some of the best spots in the Portland/Salem area!

This vendor is exceptional! We worked directly with Eric Sandstrom who did a fabulous job for our day. They had a full staff on site to help out with all the little problems that would arise (like when it started to rain) and they were on top of everything. The food was wonderful, they grilled salmon on site which added a nice aromatic effect to the day and they made sure that my husband and I were taken care of throughout the night, whether it was getting us a drink or a slice of cake or just checking on how we thought everything was going. They exceeded my expectations on many levels and became a huge resource on the day of our wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend them. The price we paid was based on a 100 person wedding or so, with a beer/wine bar and our cake.

Vibrant Table catered our wedding this summer, along with providing the most amazing floral designs! We planned everything from across the Pacific Ocean, and then from Colorado, and Vibrant Table was right there with us the entire way. They were careful in their planning, provided honest and very helpful feedback, and Meghan and Meg were a pleasure to work with. The Indian food (and alternative meals) they provided were so tasty, and the staff did an amazing job. I don't think my drink was ever empty! The floral arrangements, designed by Madeline at Vibrant Flowers, were absolutely stunning! I wanted to take them all home with me! We were so happy with their service, and so glad that we chose them for such a big day! Thank you VT :)

It was very important to us to have great food and professional service for our wedding of 300+ people. My wedding planner recommended Vibrant Table right away. Emily Michel was our coordinator throughout the year, and my now-husband, my parents, and I all appreciated her so much. She was always very responsive and professional, and I was especially touched that she always went out of her way to see through any request we had.

As far as food quality goes, you can't do better than Vibrant Table. Their food is DELICIOUS. My family is Greek, and Emily helped us put together a menu that had both traditional and contemporary components, and the end result was something that was both authentic and unique and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. Emily even helped us import a couple bottles of Ouzo and Raki for an extra treat for our guests!

On the day of our wedding, all of the catering staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. Every staff member I saw had a smile on their face, and were on-point all the time. The buffet lines (there were 2) moved quickly, and our guests were not left waiting and no one complained of being hungry (as a Greek, this is my biggest fear... haha!). Our centerpieces were small cakes, so after my husband and I cut our small, 2-tiered cake, VT staff passed out cake servers and knifes so each table could cut their own cake. This idea worked perfectly and our guests loved this too. I couldn't be happier with our choice of caterer. When it comes to price, Vibrant Table is definitely higher-end, but they are worth every penny.

The food looked amazing and I had almost a dozen people talk to me in the weeks following our wedding about how delicious the food was. We actually didn't get a chance to eat because of our photographers taking us away during dinner (long story). However when we got back, the caterer brought us warm plates of food that they made for us but we were too busy and tired to eat. So as far as taste goes...I'm solely going by what my guests have told me (and my family still talks about the food to this day...and my wedding was over a year ago!). As far as how it was working with them, they were very professional, easy to get a hold of, very accommodating when we wanted to change things around, and I truly feel this company is the best money can buy. They are a little expensive, but if you can afford them, it is well worth your money. They even have a "day of" wedding coordinator that stays there and makes sure everything is done right and runs on schedule. This company really made me feel like a princess on her special day. All throughout the day, our coordinator was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. I was a little worried about spending so much money on catering, but I'm so glad I did it.

We ended up with Vibrant Table as our caterers as they had a contract with our venue, which we lovde. We should have guessed by the professionalism of our venue, that they would never pick a bad contract caterer. They were excellent from the start. Very prompt in returning phone calls, emails and setting appointments. They were more than accommodating when helping us choose a menu, and even provided me with my own Gluten / dairy free dinner for the night of our wedding. The food was amazing, all of our guests raved about it and the service. The wait staff the night of our wedding was also amazing, in addition to our VT point person being on site. They have a great working relationship with both our coordinator and the venue. Their prices are the cheapest around, but in this instance, you get what you pay for! Great food, service and rave review from our guests. They even had our left overs (what little remained) packed up, and labeled for us to take along after the reception. I didn't have to worry about a thing!

I started with a different caterer at the Vibrant Table and was less than excited. I then changed to Kurt and Megan and they were phenomenal. They are so fun to work with and have great taste. We are foodie snobs and they appreciated that and made sure the food was excellent. I have rarely found that wedding food is good (food on a big scale doesn't always tend to be good) and our food was amazing. I still have people telling me how great it was. They also let us bring in catering from a local indian restaurant becasue they knew they would not be able to cook as authentically, which i thought was really nice of them (since so many caterers won't allow it). They are wonderful.

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Vibrant Table is great. They are pros. We worked with Kathy for our wedding at The Treasury Ballroom. They were great about getting communicating with my mother and I through the whole process...this was especially important because we don't live in Portland. They frequently updated our contract as changes came along, and I appreciated the specificity of the documentation they utilize. I was especially thrilled by they're collaboration with us on the menu. Vibrant Table put forth great ideas for our wedding meal, and noted all of all specifications. The day of our wedding was a dream. Kyle was our day-of manager, and he was fantastic to have be a part of our day. The staff was so considerate of us and the wedding party, checking in with me throughout the night to make sure I was getting everything I wanted in terms of food and beverage. I would add, that as someone who works in food/beverage hospitality, this was the most important aspect of our wedding for us. The food was excellent and delicious. The staff was fun and friendly. Kathy even came for part of the event to make sure it was proceeding as planned. As with any event of this nature there were 1-2 miscommunications, but all in all, I would recommend VT for any event; they are well established and personable.

The most unique flowers anyone has ever seen!! They took the lace from my mom's dress and used it to wrap the bride bouquet and mother's bouquets...perfect colors as well!!

Fantastic people at Vibrant Table. We put the bulk of the cost of the wedding into food for 146 people, and although it was plenty expensive, without exception, we had guests say it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The only glitch was the cake. Made by another vendor, (or actually not made), it never showed up. Thankfully the VT people actually went to a store, during the reception, and bought another cake. They served it, and never even charged us for the time and trouble to do so. Like us, they waited for the cake vendor until it was too late. Stress, yes, but it came out fine in the end.
Again, super food, great service and they helped out in an emergency. Highly rated.

When we booked our wedding at the Portland Art Museum, we were so excited to hear that we would also be getting to work with Vibrant Table catering and events to help us pull our wedding together. Auriana was our event manager, and they worked closely with us on menu, lighting, venue set-up... and the million other questions we had! The food (buffet) was AMAZING!... and we had high standards to meet! They were so flexible with our requests, and super responsive to all of our emails and phone calls. It was a pleasure working with them all.

Everything looked stunning on the day of the wedding and the food was delicious! They had several different options for each portion of the buffet and we got to choose how to narrow it down. There were some communication issues along the way with slow response time to inquiries after the initial contract was filled out, and we had some last minute issues figuring out lighting, but it all worked out in the end!

I had the pleasure of working with Karen at Vibrant Table for our wedding a few weeks back. Although they were pricey, Karen was able to work with me and to come up with options that fit my budget. Her and her staff were always very responsive to my millions of questions throughout the whole process. On the day of, everything went smoothly (at least as far as I know!). All of the guests raved about the food. I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Portland area.

Vibrant Table is the best money can buy. It's expensive, but it's SO worth it. They make everything fabulous, and fabulously easy. And the food is INCREDIBLE.

Eric from Vibrant Table was amazing. He helped us work within our budget to have the fantastic blowout wedding that we wanted. We used the Treasury Ballroom for our ceremony and reception venue and it was wonderful. Page did an amazing job on our flowers and I was so impressed with how well she listened. The food was incredible as always, and because they own the Treasury it is less expensive. The site itself had all of the old hollywood glamour and romance that we were looking for. Wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone!

Spendy but worth it! The food was terrific and we got along very well with Auriana, our catering manager. Would recommend Vibrant TaAble highly to anyone planning a big event.

I had worked with Vibrant Table in the past when I was in the industry so was well aware of what to expect. We had a small hiccup at the very beginning with a member of their sales team but that was ironed out and the rest was pretty smooth sailing. Karen and Miranda were a perfect tag team, taking care of everything. We actually used them for both our welcome gathering at Lan Su Chinese Garden and our reception at Portland Center Stage/The Armory and both events were wonderful. The food and drinks were wonderful, the presentation was beautiful, the service was great and everything was just as I pictured and wanted it. Everyone raved about the food and we had a fun, romantic, amazing wedding. Thank you so much to the entire VT team for making such a memorable weekend for us.

I worked with Auriana from Vibrant Table and she was the best. She was very responsive and very flexible (I made changes to the menu probably every week and she was so patient with me). The food was great, the service was great; no complaints. The only regret is that I wished I had chosen to include mini desserts in our menu

Overall our experience with them was great. They catered to our low budget and showed us where we could get our biggest bang for our buck. The flowers turned out amazing. They were so gorgeous and perfect.

This was an investment for us, but it was a really good one. It was way more expensive than we would have liked, but I guess the quality was worth it.

Venue was just perfect in size and ambiance. Food was amazing for the price. Flexibility phenomenal. Only issues we ran into were:
1- lack of communication btwn staff leading to no idea how to set up decor and calling the bride 30 mins before arriving at the venue
2- floral did make corsages for the mothers, just boutineeres
3- not doing the bouquets and boutineeres correctly to the point where bridesmaids and coordinator for the night had to stick peacock feathers randomly in the bouquets and groomsmen scrambled to put some in their boutineeres

Other than those, I really so appreciate the coordinator that was there and what she did all night. Communication was wonderful and she was bet accommodating with all the little changes made by the guests. Thanks Sarah! My wedding night was amazing and beautiful.

Vibrant Table's food is absolutely spectacular. It's really not anything fancy, but they prepare it to perfection. Our guests are still raving about the food, saying it was the best that they have ever had at a wedding. We are still craving the food and wished we had more leftovers to take home with us. Their seafood station was a huge hit. Such fresh oysters, plump and well-prepared crab claws, delicious scallop ceviche! I wish there was a seafood restaurant that had such quality as Vibrant Table presented to us.

Book them for the food alone! Everyone will be happy.

The catering for our wedding turned out wonderfully. Everyone commented on how great the food was. I especially liked how the caterers visited the bridal suite before the wedding to see if we needed anything brought up to the room as we were getting ready. They also did a great job at the actual wedding with considering small details and going above and beyond with their service. They responded promptly to all calls/emails, so they really reduced the stress that comes with planning a wedding. They were also extremely flexible, which was important because I had many small changes to details during the planning process. None of these details were forgotten, no matter how small.
I was a bit uneasy at the start of the planning, because our event manager seemed to be strongly encouraging us to add things that we really didn't need (extra votive candles, more expensive meal options, cocktail hour, etc.). We ended up having to go through our quote multiple times to cut out many items in order to stay within our budget. They are quite expensive, so at times I really had concerns about going over our budget. I was able to find linens and candles at a cheaper price than they offered, and I felt like our event manager was not happy that we weren't using them for these services (understandably so, but it really comes down to the $). Our venue used Vibrant Table as their exclusive caterer, so with their higher prices, we wished that we could have shopped around a bit for a more affordable option. That being said, you definitely get the quality that you pay for, and we were very happy with how our catering turned out on the big day!

Vibrant Table was a great choice for our wedding. They knew the venue well and were very easy to work with. The food was great, and our guests all loved it! The chicken and waffle app was a huge hit, as were the risotto balls and beet napoleons. We did salmon, steak and a vegetarian dish for dinner, and they all came out awesome. The staff were very professional, and kept checking in on me and my now husband throughout dinner to make sure we were happy.

The only negative was that they didn't serve a couple of our guests who didn't have ID's on them. But I mean, who brings ID to a wedding?! We tried to vouch for them (there was nobody under 21 at the whole wedding, except the 3 and 6 y/o ring bearer and flower girl...) and even have our coordinator intervene with the VT manager on site, but they didn't listen. They then pinpointed one of our friends, who is 24, and decided she was lying about her age and refused to serve her and threatened to kick her out if she was caught drinking. Someone apparently even grabbed a wine glass out of her hand at one point. I get that they're liable with under age drinkers, but it seemed a bit excessive, especially considering there were no underage drinkers there. Good food and service, but make sure you tell your guests to pack their IDs if you book with VT!

Vibrant Table was a pleasure to work with. They worked with us to customize our food and beverage preference and did a great job managing our event on the day of. My only complaint was that we ran out of a couple of the vegi options but other than that is was a pleasure working with them!

Vibrant Table is the exclusive caterer for the venue we chose. Our coordinator, Eric, was very helpful, but hard to get ahold of once wedding season got in full swing. Since our wedding wasn't until October, most of the questions we had about catering and decor came up during the summer months and Eric didn't really have any time to meet with us to discuss our questions. Everything was handled by phone or through email. We found out the week of our wedding that Eric would not be at the event, instead Crystal would be our event manager. She turned out to be really nice, but since we hadn't been working with her all along she had to keep soming up and asking me questions on the day of because she hadn't been told how things should be set up or what time things were going to be happening. The food was good and all the staff at our wedding was really nice. However, if you choose a Vibrant Table venue, DO NOT use their in house florist. We used her because we thought it would be easier than having to find another florist and have one more person to worry about. We should have just spent the time finding another florist. All we had her doing was 4 bouquets and 5 boutonnieres plus the flower girl's ball of flowers (we had candle based centerpieces and she was going to charge too much to do them so we just did them ourselves) and she didn't get any of them right. My bouquet was supposed to be mostly orchids, the bridesmaids were supposed to be mostly lilys, but we all got half orchid, half lily. Mine was just a little bigger. All the boutonnieres were the wrong flowers. She came back just before the ceremony with the right flowers, but we'd already done all our formal pictures with the wrong ones.

Even though this caterer had a few staffing issues the evening of our daughter's wedding, we were informed of it immediately. They also had a delay of some sort with one of the entrees, which delayed serving all of the entress, but the food was delicious...with comments of "best wedding meal I've ever had" being said all around. As anyone in the food industry would tell you, getting a large number of plates out in a timely manner is difficult, yet nothing was overdone or had that "I sat around too long under a heat lamp" appearance!

We also had Vibrant Table do all the flowers for my daughter's wedding and they were stunning...

The food and venue were amazing. We have received many compliments on the food, wait staff and the overall wedding reception. Which is wonderful! The night was a huge success and we are thrilled.

However, the lack of organization and response time to our e-mails was not so good during the planning process of the reception. The contract was not to our satisfaction until one week before the wedding. Deadlines (set by our coordinator) were missed numerous times and it was very frustrating.

It's hard to give a rating because the actual wedding reception was fabulous with only some table numbers being on the wrong tables... But overall Vibrant Table hit it out of the park. Because of the frustration and lack of responsiveness I had to give them a lower rating...

NOT WORTH THE HIGH PRICES!

PROS:
The venue was just beautiful! The decor they provided was great (although spendy...), we rented an aisle runner from them at the last minute and they helped set it up. Very grateful for this. They also worked with us on payment issues we had after a family tragedy. Very kind and helpful in that regard. Food service was good. The drinks were served right, everyone came away happy with that. Guests loved the venue.

CONS:
The food was just average for the Portland area. Cheesy bread was hard and dry. There was horrible communication from the coordinators from the start. Original coordinator quit in the middle of planning and we had to meet with a new person who had completely different info. Very confusing! Coordinator was hard to reach during peak summer/wedding season, & we were referred a new coordinator who took over shortly before the wedding. She had sooo many questions for us & seemed to not really have a clue about our plans, etc. We didn't know who to talk to about anything at that point & didn't know that we'd be switching coordinators like that. Shockingly, she was the coordinator we had for the rehearsal. (What??) Calls were never answered by coordinators, & we spoke to receptionists over the phone more than anyone else. Took a long time to get a response via email since coordinators were out of the office so often. Decor wasn't set up right after they told us they'd help out; we had relied on them after they asked us not to bring very much help. Our main coordinator was at the wedding set-up for roughly 45 minutes, but then left before the ceremony. (???) We ordered our favorite beer for the bar, & were told it wasn't available less than a week before the wedding. They gave us a list to choose from, and we chose another one that we liked. On the wedding day, they served a completely different beer, one that we actually hate. How does this happen? The coordinators are definitely NOT wedding coordinators. They made this clear only DURING the final prep and AFTER the event was over. There were so many charges for random little things, and we were led to believe that it would all be worth it.

After the wedding when they asked us how it all went, we offered forth all of our compliments, followed by our disappointments. When the rubber meets the road, Vibrant Table referred back to the contract and apologized for the beer mistake only. They kept everything legal (I'm sure to avoid being sued) and we were too naive to see it from the start.

With some of the highest prices in downtown Portland, we thought we'd be blown away. We did not get our money's worth. If you want a great experience with this catering service, you better be very rich, or very ready to go into debt. Bottom line, go somewhere else.
