I used VI Desserts for our wedding in St. Thomas. We decided to do a dessert display, and it was absolutely amazing. We ordered the key lime coconut tarts, passion fruit tarts, island carrot cake cupcakes, and Holly's specialty cupcakes. They were all expertly made and perfectly beautiful!! I highly recommend VI desserts for any occasion! Thank you Holly!

Holly and Samantha are the best. We ordered a variety of mousse and a variety of mini pies. They were absolutely delicious. My guests raved about them and ate all of them with a quickness. I couldn't have asked for better dessert for my wedding! And if you're wondering, they didn't make my wedding cake, but I have had their cake and it's equally delicious. Yum! -

Holly of VI desserts created a last minute dessert tray for our welcome BBQ in St. Thomas, and also did our wedding cake. Taste was incredible and presentation was perfect. She created a mirror image of a 'Naked' cake I had seen on pinterest, topped with stunning florals . Couldn't believe what she did for the price we paid. She was such a pleasure to work with. Our guests are still raving about our coconut cake. Highly recommend -

I used VI Desserts for my wedding cake. When I called Holly was extremely helpful in suggesting the right size cake for the number of guests I had (10). I purchased as 6"4" cake and it was the perfect size. I was getting married on a Sunday and the bakery is closed on Sundays. VI Desserts made accommodations to deliver my cake to the reception site the day before. The cake was wonderful. It was nice and moist and the frosting was very light. -

Holly was an amazing baker to work with. I was able to do a cake tasting with her to pick the flavor I was wanting which were delicious, but not as delicious as the actual wedding cake! I sent her an email of a picture of the cake design and she brought it to life! It was a beautiful replica of the design! The cake was a highlight. Everyone loved it! Thank you so much for working with me up until a couple days before. I couldn't have asked for a better bakery to do my cake than VI Desserts!!!! -

WOW! Hands down the BEST vendor I worked with! Holly was 100% responsive, so accommodating, and all around amazing! I planned my St Thomas wedding from Florida, so I was unable to do a cake tasting. Cake is a big deal to my groom and I.. so we put all our faith into Holly and she delivered! The cake was so delicious and exactly what I asked for! We had a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling and mocha buttercream. We were even able to get our cake back to the states! Thank you so much Holly!!! -

Holly and the team at VI Desserts were incredible!!! Our cakes were delicious and exactly what I wanted them to look like. I asked Holly if she could make a surprise Grooms cake, with a yoda on top (my husband loves Star Wars) and it was better than I could have ever imagined! They were so great to work with and I just wish I would have been able to eat more of that yummy cake!! Thank you to everyone at VI Desserts that helped create our wedding memories! -

From day one, I was impressed with Holly (and so was my mom who also contacted her separately)!! We chatted through email and she always responded in record time, which was refreshing. Going into the process, I had an idea of what I wanted which we talked through both in email and in person 5 months before the wedding. About a month or two before the wedding, I changed the design completely. She was eager and willing to help make my vision to come life. Our turquoise ombre wave cake with coral topper came out beautifully. The cake tasting was different than I expected, but great…she packaged up sizable pieces of the ones we chose to sample and we took them home to taste test. It gave us time to taste them over time and narrow down the options without the pressure of someone watching over you (and you not wanting to hurt their feelings if you didn't like it) Choosing a flavor was hard as they were all delicious…she makes a mean carrot cake (that I still dream about it)! We opted for 3 different flavors (2 in the main cake and 1 in the sheet cake) because we just couldn’t choose one! My experience with Holly and her VI Desserts team was fantastic!! She made it was a really easy, smooth, and fun process! She also made my mom’s birthday cake a few weeks later. -

Yummmm!! VI DESSERTS is AMAZING!!! Not only were they extremely helpful during the entire process but the cake and cupcakes were to die for! I sent in pictures of what we wanted for the design and they did an amazing job, it looked like it come straight out of my picture! Thank you VI Desserts for making our wedding yummy! AMMMAAAZING!!! We couldn't pick bakeries and went with another choice but never quite settled on them. With the recommendation of Heather ( of David Paul Paradise Events) we went with VI Deserts not even knowing that is who we were going with! Cake was delicious and the groom and I didn't even get to taste the cupcakes because they were gone so fast! We are so pleased and designs were so pretty and elegant. WE COULDN'T BEAT THE PRICE FOR WHAT WE NEEDED!!!! We deff made our cake our carry on luggage and brought it back to NYC from St.Thomas!!! Thank you guys so much, YOU WERE MEANT TO BE!!!! -

My wedding cake and cupcakes were both beautiful and delicious! Since it was a destination wedding I was nervous about getting a cake without a tasting but my Chocolate Strawberry Mascarpone Cake was the best wedding cake I've ever had. The cupcakes were a also big hit and the decorations were lovely. My guests really enjoyed them. -

I had cupcakes for my wedding cake with a little cake with topper at the top tier. They did a wonderful job. The cake was extremely tasty as well. I brought decorative cupcake wrappers and the pearl sprinkles that I wanted and they did everything just perfect. We both were extremely pleased. I highly recommend them. -

I can’t even come up with the words to express how amazing our wedding cake looked and tasted! Whenever I go to weddings, I don’t pay much mind to the wedding cake, they just don’t make a significant impression on me, but Holly and VI Desserts wowed us and our guest!
When I had first reached out to Holly, she was quick in response and shared in my excitement for my choice of design and flavors. We ended up hiring her though my wedding planner, but I can genuinely say we couldn’t be happier with VI Desserts. Our cake design was even better than we envisioned it to be and the two flavors we chose; tropical carrot cake and classic coconut with passion fruit curd were magnificent--My family and friends raved about it for a week! I cannot say enough about our experience with VI Desserts. We had to do everything by email and it all came through exactly as planned. But the bottom line is, the cake was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten in my life! Everyone commented on the cake and not one bite was wasted. I only wish there was a bakery like it near here (or maybe not, since I would probably gain 10 lbs.). Honestly, I cannot imagine a better wedding cake exists. Thank you Holly! -

They made a perfect cake for me in the exact shade of mint and grey I had requested. They even merged styles to make it just as desired. I wanted a lovely dessert table with lots of options for my wedding guests. Holly at VI Desserts to the rescue! From big cupcakes, to little mini-cupcakes, to bars of everything from toffee pecan to fudge brownie, to pumpkin bars! Everything looked amazing, she has so many cute designs she can put on the cupcakes, to match your wedding flowers, colors, or even just theme (she did some beautiful sea shells and pearls and sand cupcakes for my beach wedding!). And the taste was amazing!! Many of my guests tried EVERYTHING, and loved EVERYTHING! We had some pumpkin bars left over and my groom thought he didn't like pumpkin bars. I convinced him to try one bite and next thing I knew I was wrestling him for the rest of it! They will deliver to your site if needed, and Holly, the owner, is a pure joy to work with! -

Holly made us the perfect cake for the wedding. The bride had one request for the wedding, that the cake would stand 4'11" tall, her height. Oh, and one layer had to be gluten free for some of the guests. Holly built a gorgeous cake, that was delicious, and the right height. And don't get us started on the frosting. We had devils food for one layer, white with strawberry filling for the second, and yellow for the gluten free. All were scrumptious. She was punctual and easy to work with. BY THE WAY, her cake was even better than the tastings we did earlier and better than the other four places. No need to go to any other bakery...her cake was divine. -

I asked for a completely vegan wedding cake from VI desserts and they did an amazing job!!! The cake was the best I have ever had, looked amazing and all of my guest (non vegan) loved the cake and would have never known it was vegan! I would eecommend to any bride! Vi desserts provided beautiful and delicious cupcakes for my daughter's Oct. 28th wedding in St. Thomas. Holly also provided an equally great tasting gluten- free cake for the groom. Even though the bakery was closed on Sunday, Holly arranged delivery and set up of our order. Vi desserts provides excellent service and yummy baked goods. -

If you are planning a destination wedding, it is essential that you have vendors who are willing to assist you since all planning will be done long distance. We found that Stacy was very patient with us over the phone and offered support and suggestions. She also took the time to alert me not to use my cell phone on the island because I have verizon which would have cost me a ton in roaming charges.
We could not be happier with the cake Stacy made for us. Not only was it stunning to look at, it was also delicious!! Our cake was coconut with passion fruit curd filling and Italian buttercream icing. It had an amazing cascade of tropical flowers from top to bottom.
Thank you Stacy and VI Desserts for making my daughters wedding such a wonderful event. We will be forever grateful!!

I couldn't be more pleased w/ the service provided by VI Desserts. We had them make cupcakes for the wedding. I sent a picture of what I was looking for and I was so happily surprised when I saw them on the wedding reception! They were beautifully decorated beyond expectations. The cupcakes were also SO delicious, not like your regular "wedding cake" :)
They were also very responsive in their communication w/ us and I know they delivered the cupcakes a day before the wedding. When planning a wedding it's so hard to "trust" because you would think vendors will make mistakes and make it wrong. I strongly recommend anyone to choose them for your wedding cake and sweets!

Stacey was amazing! We actually had a rehearsal dinner thrown for us the night before our wedding and they had a red velvet cake with fireworks made by Stacey for that event too! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly as I imagined. I just gave her a few hints and she got it exactly right. Our vanilla buttercream cake with hazelnut cream filling was a huge hit with the guests. -

Our wedding cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! We requested a tasting when we arrived on the island a few days before the wedding and Holly's team had 4 beautiful samples waiting for us at our hotel. We quickly finalized our flavors:

All iced with a vanilla buttercream
Holly was very responsive and accommodating from the start and was a pleasure to work with. She carefully added our burlap, raffia, calla lillies, starfish and cake topper to complete our dream wedding cake and it looked even better than the sample photo we sent her. A very tasty cake for sure. I ordered it all through email which was a little different for me, since I was expecting an order form, but the cake turned out beautiful! I wasn't able to taste it before the actual wedding, but I stuck with simple flavors and I was very happy with my selection. The cake was at my reception site as planned, all I had to do was send a check and a ribbon in the mail and that was it. Very easily done and no worries on my end. Exactly how a destination cake order should be in my book! -

Holly at VI Desserts was awesome to work with while I planned our destination wedding. Not only was she responsive with all of my emails, but she didn't upcharge for different flavored layers. All of our guests raved about the cake saying that it was better than any other wedding cake they've had. -

VI desserts was recommended from local friends. They were great at responding quickly to emails. Very friendly and helpful. We did arrive early so we did a tasting and choose red velvet, tropical carrot cake and a hazelnut filling with vanilla frosting.
They did a beautiful job on the cakes although a little dry but the frosting was great!
I did have a grooms cake done as well. It was supposed to be a surprise but the pastry chef gave it away at the tasting :(. -

These ladies were so nice and polite and great to work with. The cake looked perfect exactly the way we wanted and for such a great price too. However it just didn't live up to our hope as far as taste. It was a little dry and very boring, we wish we would have maybe gotten more feeback on flavors maybe that would have helped -

We didn't hire VI desserts directly so this review may not be the most accurate. Our planner uses VI desserts regularly and our cake came with our wedding package.
We initially sent photos of a cake we really liked and wanted to our wedding planner. We were told they didn't know how to make a cake look like what we sent (white fondant covered with what looked like thin strips of brown fondant layered on top of the white to create random stripes). As expected, we were also told it would be a great deal more to use square cake or fondant. We were happy to use round cake and swap the fondant for butter cream. We had hoped they could still duplicate the cake by piping on the stripes but they didn't feel they could do it and made some other suggestions that we weren't really liking. We had a really hard time finding something else but ultimately found a picture of a cake with some branches piped on it and sent it to them, disappointed that we were settling for something we didn't like as much. We had also requested that they use the same flowers that were in our bouquets but we got the flowers from the photographed cakes instead. The cake itself was just a touch dry but the icing was absolutely spectacular and it melted like ice cream in our mouths! Seriously, that icing was the best butter cream we have ever had!!! Even though the overall style of the cake was a bit different than we originally wanted, it did turn out gorgeous and I wouldn't change anything but the flowers that were on it. -

VI Desserts provided cupcakes for us in lieu of a wedding cake for our destination wedding reception at a private estate in St. Thomas. They have a variety of unique specialty flavors for cakes and cupcakes. We chose peanut butter and jelly and banana walnut jumbo and standard cupcakes. They were filling and delicious!! If you're looking for uniquely flavored cupcakes, VI Desserts will not disappoint! -

VI Desserts was hired by my wedding planner. I did not have any contact with them directly, though now looking back I should have reached out. We choose a white vanilla cake, almond buttercream icing, and seasonal fruit filling. The cake was dry and there was barley any fruit filling in the cake! Most guests didn't even get any in their pieces. The buttercream icing was average, but the best part of the cake. The design was simple blue ribbons around each tier. They were done in buttercream as well, but they were not straight and broken in visible places. There was gold decorative balls around the top. I assumed they were sugar and edible (was not told any different), but guests said they were stale/hard they could not even be chewed. -
