Getting professional makeup done has always been so hard for me. I never am IN LOVE with the results because I don’t feel like I look like myself.
On a whim, I found Nina’s instagram (@nrbeautyco) and decided to take a chance and do a trial for hair and makeup (as the hair her team specializes in — glam waves — is exactly what I envisioned for my bridal look).
Upon starting the makeup trial, I could just tell Nina got it. She had the best and latest makeup products. She would explain everything she was doing and how it could be tweaked. She was just always on my wavelength and fully understood what I wanted. To look glam and have makeup perfect for photography, but to still look like myself.
She really nailed it during the trial as did the hair stylist. And on my actual wedding day, it all came out even BETTER. Her team was all in on making us look 110%. My bridesmaids and I all felt so beautiful and confident. No tweaks needed.
Thank you, Nina and team! I wish I could get married again just to relive the experience with you. Hope I have a big event coming up because I’d love to see you again. -

Nina and her team literally saved the day and more! I had to cancel a contract with a different makeup artist and less than 2 weeks before my wedding, Nina was able to do a consultation with me, schedule a makeup trial, and provide two makeup artists for me and 6 other women in my bridal party. The level of professionalism and efficiency from Nina and her team is unparalleled. Our makeup artists, Imahn and Tiffany, were so talented and friendly. They made us all feel so comfortable and glamorous. AND they finished all of our makeup ahead of schedule so we had time to relax before the day's activities began. I can't recommend their services enough!! -

Made my dreams come true!
Nina and her team are magic! I was so nervous about my wedding makeup especially because my original vendor ghosted me 2 months before the wedding. Thanks to Nina and her dream team, they swooped in and made me look even more beautiful than I could have asked for! The trial was amazing, I felt heard and they delivered on my vision. Even my bridal party remarked on how amazing the team was! -

We had an incredible experience with NR Beauty Co. They really are magical. Alex is the absolute best photographer that we have ever worked with. Our weddings photos look so editorial and it is all thanks to his talent and direction. Nina is not only an extremely kind person, but she is also SO CREATIVE!! From our initial conversation, she was invested in helping bring our vision to life. My mom and sister both cannot stop talking about their hair and makeup that day. Beautiful makeup and hair for my wedding day!
I cannot recommend Nina Renee Beauty highly enough!!! We had a two woman team come in, Nina for makeup and Narissa for hair, that absolutely did amazing work for me and my bridal party. They came in on time and worked efficiently, but more than that they created a relaxed and excited vibe for everyone in the room. I truly felt so beautiful and confident on the most important day of my life thanks to them! Thank you thank you so much! -

Beyond amazing.
Nina and her team are not only the most talented stylists I’ve worked with, but also the nicest, kindest, and fun people to be around. Nina did my wedding makeup and omg, she made me feel so beautiful throughout the day–I was afraid my make up wasn’t going to last until the end, but she proved me wrong! Shamea worked on my hair and it looked absolutely beautiful, everyone complemented my look. I had a wedding party of 10 and everyone was super excited with their hair and makeup. I’m extremely happy with the service and will definitely recommend. Nina, you’re my makeup girl from now on! -

Nina and her team were absolutely AMAZING for my wedding day. I, as the bride, felt like absolute royalty. I asked Nina to make me an ethereal queen and BOY did she deliver. My family members and bridesmaids also got services done, and they still cannot stop raving over a month later. An Incredible Team!
Nina and her team were so helpful through the entire planning process. My wedding party was HUGE and having a team like Nina’s is crucial to getting everyone looking beautiful and wedding-ready on time. Before finding Nina I felt stuck with artists who only offer hair or only offer makeup services and do not coordinate with one another. Having the two combined is one less vendor headache to worry about! Nina and her staff were very prompt in responding to emails leading up to the big day and were on time, professional, and delightful to spend the morning with. I’d recommend them for any event! -

Dream Team 10/10 Recommend
Nina was so easy to work with from the very first interaction. She is responsive, knowledgeable, flexible, FUN, and so hardworking. From the trial to my wedding day, Nina kept in touch, reminded me about all the little details, and uses all platforms familiar to us millennial and Gen Z brides. On the day of, Nina and her team were so fun and easy going, willing to work with each member of the bridal party to achieve the look they wanted, and did such a gorgeous job. Alex, the photographer worked hand in hand with Nina to capture my ideas and also proposed so many of his own! It was blistering hot on my wedding day, but Alex and Nina soldiered through and were so helpful and kind. Nina touched up my hair and makeup for the photos and Alex got the most gorgeous shots. We will cherish all the memories from our special day, and we’re so grateful that Nina and Alex brought them to life through styling and photos. Everyone should hire Nina Renee Beauty. ❤️ -

I hired Nina for a photo shoot. I’ve never had my makeup applied via spray paint and was nervous but it was flawless and cut the application time down substantially! She was very nice, personable and professional. I would definitely use her again and recommend her. My friend and I received many comments! -

Excellent experience!
Nina is amazing! This is my third time in her chair, and she never disappoints. Nina is incredibly talented, professional, and communicates well. She knows how to work with and enhance each person's unique features so you'll look and feel like a better version of yourself. Nina has a breadth of skills that are hard to find. She can do it all, from a soft natural look to a full glam face beat! 10/10. I would highly recommend. -

After my hair/makeup artist canceled for my wedding 3 days in advance, It ended up being a blessing in disguise because that led me to find Nina! I hired her to do hair/makeup for seven people, including myself, and they did a phenomenal job. My entire wedding party looked absolutely stunning! She was very responsive and super easy to work with. I cannot recommend enough!Veux Beauty's reply:

An excellent and comprehensive business!!
I hired Nina Renee beauty to service my wedding party for glam and photography. My bridal party consisted of myself, 4 bridesmaids as well as my mom and mother in love who are each very particular about their look. I had a very specific vision in mind so I knew I would need to complete a trial prior to booking. Nina, Sasha and Alex all had amazing energy and I knew that I had found the one. They brought this same energy the day of my wedding and it really just helped set the tone for a magical day. The hair and makeup was so polished and the photos are exactly what I wanted! An excellent and comprehensive business.

Amazing and Unmatched
Best makeup artist I have ever experienced. Will use this person for any future events I have. I am very particular about my makeup and she made me look better than I have ever looked before! She was very professional, personable and great with time management which is very important on the wedding day. Would not recommend anyone else other than this makeup artist. -

The perfect day!
Okay story time. I initially hired Nina to do makeup for a few members of the bridal party for my wedding! Her work was so good that the same day (my wedding day) that she ended up doing the my makeup (the bride) instead of the team I hired. She was extremely skilled and her work was literally flawless. She was also knowledgeable about a lot of different skin tones which was important for our diverse group. Thank you Nina for helping me to create the perfect wedding day look! -

A dream team!
I am so thankful I came across DC Beauty To Go. The entire team is extremely communicative, easy to work with, flexible, and kind. Coordinating hair and makeup can often feel stressful for special events let alone your wedding day but that was not my experience working with Nina and her team. I was able to enjoy my day knowing that everything would be handled perfectly. I can't wait to use her services again and will recommend her business to friends and family who are getting married or who just want an awesome glam team. Thank you, Nina! -
