I have worked with Vera a couple of times recently as a fellow vendor and every time she has been exceptional to work with. The most recent time was this past Sunday in Seattle. As a Dj, I always make sure I know when vendors are leaving, especially the photographer since I know they need to have all the main activities done so they can get the shots while they are there. I asked Vera what time she was leaving that night and she told me “8:15 pm” I have had many many photographers also leave before the given time when they think they have enough sots. Not Vera, she stayed until 8:15 pm and said her goodbyes to me and the couple. It took her about 5 minutes to back her gear bag up and head for the door. As she was almost passed the dancefloor I switched up the dancing to something slower so the older couples could get some slow dancing in. The Bride and Groom were not on the dancefloor at this time. Vera immediately stopped heading for the door and frantically found a safe play to put her gear so it wouldn’t be in the guest's way. Vera then stayed a couple of more moments so that she could get more photos for the couple and give the best representation of their big day. A lot of photographers would have kept walking, especially since the Bride and Groom were not on the dancefloor, but Vera went the extra mile. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in the style that she shoots.
(I am a DJ, and my job is to watch all the people, even vendors, and judge them 🙂)

There is something so incredibly magical about Vera - the photos she takes and the experience she creates - it's enchanting. She not only captures moments beautifully, she creates artistic memories and experiences to document some of the most important events in people's lives. I'm grateful for her every time I look at our photos, and think back on our journey together. We found Vera online for our destination wedding to my husband's homeland, WA. It took about 5 minutes to find her. I took one look at her portfolio, and it was love at first sight...........and that love continued throughout our experience. Vera was not only the best photographer we could have found, she's also the sweetest, most amazing human. She became a friend over the 9 month planning process - through tons of personalized texts, emails and phone calls - she was always there with excited, excellent, well-thought-out advice that not even I, as a former wedding coordinator, would have thought of. She perfected and customized our timeline, directed traffic seamlessly, remained flexible and captured all the varieties of photos we asked for. She was open to all of our off-road ideas and even improved on them. She is on top of her game. She is a leader, and a boss, with the softest, sweetest heart, and an eagle eye for perfection in a flash. I could write a book about Vera and the amazing talent she brings to photography. My husband and I agree that Vera is our family photographer for life. We will fly to WA if we have to - she is that amazing. Thank you so much, V, for all you did to bring the day we envisioned to life in such phenomenal photos. Forever memorialized, as complete perfection. -

Vera is amazing!
I wish I could give Vera 10 stars. She is absolutely fantastic and incredibly talented. We initially hired Vera to do our engagement photos. We loved them so much that we hired her for our wedding and she flew to California for our big day. My husband and I were both nervous about being in front of the camera, but she made the whole thing feel so easy and natural. Our puppy, who was 6 months old at the time, and very rambunctious, was in our engagement photos and Vera did such a good job capturing her energy as well as ours. On our wedding day, Vera was absolutely flawless. I was nervous and anxious and Vera was a calming force. She ran the show and made sure we were in the right place at the right time. She was constantly snapping photos but it didn't feel intrusive or invasive. It was like she was another guest at our party! She has a vision and she goes with it. We have some great classic wedding shots along with some incredible shots that have an artsy flair. At one point Vera was laying flat on the ground snapping photos so that she could get a great angle. I would recommend Vera to absolutely everyone! She goes the extra mile and was such a joy to work with. -

Anjelica Sent on 09/26/2017Vera took our engagement photos. Neither one of us enjoy having our picture taken, so we were nervous about looking bizarre or cheesy. After talking together, we asked Vera for something moody and a bit editorial, and she delivered. Some of the things that we appreciated the most:
- she provided us with a Pinterest of outfit ideas so that our outfits would complement each other but not blend together
- she was very familiar with different areas and made suggestions that empowered us to choose the best location
- on site, she was relaxed and helped us to pose without looking too "posed"
- there's a 15 inch height difference between us, and I was worried about us looking too "distant" from each other in the pictures. Vera was able to position us so that we didn't look miles apart!
- great turn around time, and a ton of photos to choose from! We also received our photos in both color and black and white, which was a pleasant surprise.
It was great working with Vera and we happily recommend her. -
