  Vel and Mel has consistently provided professional catering services to my family and to other agencies I am affiliated with. Their food is always delicious and served hot and they are very responsive to inquiries. Will definitely book them again for other future events!

  OMG!! The food was amazing! Our guest are still talking how great the food was! Vel and Mel Catering exceeded my expectations! They were very courteous and helped make our wedding perfect!!

  Catering service was very organized, professional, and had excellent food. My daugther's reception menu consisted of steak,baked and fried chicken,mashed potates, macorni and cheese,corn,string beans,rolls,banana pudding,tea,and punch. The w edding guest really enjoyed their meal. Try Mel and Vel catering service you will not regret it.

  Best Caterers Around!

  This is the best food for the best value in eastern NC! I had eaten Vel and Mel's catering before our wedding at other events in the are, but had never worked with them for my own event. They were incredibly pleasant to deal with, and were able to make suggestions as far as how much food to order. You can tell they are experienced. And the food was absolutely delicious. Quite honestly some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. I would absolutely use them again!

  Bad Customer Service

  I am very disappointed with Vel & Mel’s Catering Service. I placed an order months in advance, paid in full, and my order was not delivered. On the day of my event, I was told that they had forgotten my order. This was extremely unprofessional and left me and my staff without the meal we were promised. I am one very disappointed customer and will never use their services again.
