I still get compliments on how tasty our cake was. We got a carrot cake and chocolate caramel. They did a great job helping us pick a silhouette that fits our wedding size. They are very responsive and accommodating. The cake looked absolutely gorgeous. They asked if we could drop the cake flowers off the night before the wedding and I am so glad my planner did because they placed them on the cake beautifully. We also got single boxed macaroons with our wedding logo printed on them as wedding favors. Everyone loved them and there were barely many left over to take home which is usually the case with wedding favors. 100/10 would recommend to future Mr. and Mrs. -

Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing!! The cake was designed as just my imagination, and the taste was way better than my expectation. I would highly recommend them! -

Vanille Patisserie made the best wedding cake for us, and I feel so lucky to have found them! We planned our Chicago wedding from Florida, and during a Chicago visit a month before the date, happened to walk by the bakery. My mom and I met Sophie, who set up a cake tasting to-go for us before we left town the next day. Once we tasted the flavors, we immediately decided to go with Vanille, despite already having submitted an order at a different bakery. The hardest decision was choosing our cake flavors! We highly recommend the chocolate cake with earl grey mousseline and orange marmalade- it was a hit with our guests. These cakes are wonderfully flavorful, less sweet than typical cakes, and very elegant in presentation. The cake design process was also very easy and clear; Nicole helped us customize the cake exactly how we wanted it (and we dropped off fresh flowers the day before). Thank you so much for the Vanille team for making our day special. -

Vanille made our cake through our vendor agreement with LLM Catering at City View Loft that we signed in 2019. The cake tasting at the Lincoln Park location was a lot of fun. We picked out 2 flavors and one of the designs they already had, but we made a change to the bottom tier. The sketch the provided after was great and helpful and day of looked exactly like we thought. We ended up not celebrating until 2022, but we had no issues. Thank you! -

Best wedding cake!
Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing! We ended up doing three different flavors of cake and it was a dream come true! All of our wedding guests raved about the cake! Sophie and the whole team were easy to work with and they did an amazing job! I'm from Germany and so were some of our guests (which are used to delicious pastries and cake) and they raved about our wedding cake. I would highly recommend them! -

While we did not get an option to choose our dessert as Vanille Patisserie works with our venue (City View Loft), Vanille was going to be the dessert we chose anyway, and for good reason. We went with some of their macarons for our desserts as well as some petit fours and all of those and our cake was delicious. I'm now wishing I had eaten more of the dessert because I can't stop thinking about it! While Vanille may be best known for their macarons, I would highly recommend checking out some of their other dessert options as well as these are just as delicious. We received compliments from not our our guests, but from coworkers we shared our cake with afterwards. Vanille did not disappoint! -

Edwina Sent on 01/07/2010We got so may compliments on how good our wedding cake tasted. Given that this was a fondant cake, that is a big compliment since fondant is supposed to taste bad. Vanille also provided us with petit fours and the macaroons were so good, melting in your mouth!
Guests loved the ability to sample so many quality sweets!
An really nice touch by Keli is that she left us a little "swag" gift bag with a few packaged sweets for us plus a mini cake with our wedding design! So precious...we also get on our one year anniversary a cake top (freshly made) with our wedding cake design...also a very nice touch!
